Here you will see all the feddbacks of real people who consumed the products of Garden of the Gods Trading Post (Coffee Shop) near Colorado.
At this moment the business receives a rating of 4.6 over 5 and that rating has been based on 2925 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings is basically the top, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the evaluation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Coffee Shop corresponds to the category of Tourist attraction.
Most shops associated with recreation areas have a few trinkets, not so here. Trinkets yes, and about anything else you might wish for. One could spend a couple hours wandering around. Enjoy!
Literally the best gift shop! I love this place and make sure it is on my list of places to go when in Colorado! They have the usual souvenirs, of course but then they also have a lot of unusual items that you don't see most places. Plus, you get to drive through the Garden of the Gods which is beautiful!
This is a great place to visit and a must stop place while visiting the Garden of the Gods. There is free parking so you can't beat the price. There are clean restrooms, great food choices, snacks, sweets, drinks and souvenirs. The fudge is to die for and they give hearty free samples and have a great bulk purchase deal. Their web site can probably answer most other questions. Enjoy.
Don't let the exterior for you when you walk inside it just goes on and on and on. Little restaurant kind of in the back with outdoor seating, the food was wonderful they made some changes to the sandwich my wife had to accommodate her Darien taller news. I would recommend this place as a stop. Have a huge gift shop as well.
Big gift shop, clean restrooms, great deals on fudge and have food
This place had it all. Great place to rest. Good food.
Surprised this was free! Beautiful place with several areas to stop to park and explore around the rocks. Fun to climb around on smaller rock formations
Great views. Mix of easy and more difficult trails. Open, paved trails available for those who need them. Family friendly. Free.
So much to see and purchase! Friendly staff. Loved it.
Beautiful place. Make sure to bring your camera! We thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was a neat place to visit. Very unique rock formations and easily accessible by foot, bike or car. Visitors center was a little stuffy for my taste but the Trading Post was fun. There was mineral mining for the kids and the shakes we got from the snack area were probably the best shakes I've ever had. One recommendation would be to do the Trading Post last if you are hiking the trails. It makes for a very enjoyable cool down from the long hike.
Kids loved hiking up the trails and we stopped in to look around it is chaotic and cramped service at the little cafe took forever. The cashier was on his personal phone at the register.
Lots of cool gifts and souvenirs. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be a pain with limited space during busy times so off holidays visits work best. Not far from a great photo opportunities at balancing rock where family members can look like Hercules.
Lots of memorabilia, some prices are steep. The food was only okay. I wanted a BLT which I did not see on the menu, but they had sandwiches. When I asked, they said the closest was a turkey club. The cheapest meal was a grilled cheese at $7. It was the most basic of grilled cheese, I make a fancier one at home.
Very crowded but the staff was really nice and patient.
Best place to get typical tourist souvenirs, as well as the nicer things!!
Really awesome shop with a lot of different types of gifts
This place made some great improvements to the eating area and has some really neat things to purchase. Worth making a stop!
"good for lunch in old spring, it's family place"
Pretty cool place! Seen mule deer 3’ away, great hiking, was amazing!
OMG, it was breathtaking. It is almost difficult to describe this place. I was literally drooling. Everywhere you looked there was a view to die for. I couldn't stop taking pictures. The Trading Post was nice. They had a wide variety of items. They had a cafe that offered a nice selection of food. You need to try their fudge. It was delicious. Be prepared to have a few samples before making your choice.
This is an interesting place with a little bit of everything. Yes, it's a 'touristy' place but that's not a bad thing. If you're looking for a souvenir from your trip to Garden of the Gods, you certainly should be able to find it here! They also have a snack bar/cafe where you can get a drink and a bite to eat. And best of all, you can take your furry friend in with you since it's dog friendly!
Too much of the things are from China or India when there's plenty of local artists that could feature their work there. Still a fun place and many things to choose from.
They have such a lovely selection here. We tried the ice cream, delicious! The staff was very pleasant and helpful! If you're looking for some nice things to remember your trip to garden of the gods and/or if you need a pick me up after hitting the trails, this is the spot!
Excellent place 2 tour by Bicycle, new Mtn Bike area is cool as well.
Views were great but unless you stopped every 5 min or pulled over to let someone pass you (speed limit is 25) you didn't get to see much but trees
HUGE. Be ready to spend a good hour in there and still probably miss a section! Lots of local art.
Had alot of fun driving around and being able to hike around this area
Wow! I don't even know how to describe it. A few adjectives will do for me. Colorful, amazing, mesmerizing, unbelieveable, sterling and majestic. Enjoy it!
Awe inspiring views. Nature at it's best
It's an amazing place to waste so time.. Gift shop is big and tons of stuff to look through.. they have a bit of everything including jewelry, hand crafted items, wall decorations, cups, mugs, glass wear, candy,.. ect ect.. There is walking and jogging paths as well..
Excellent, good food, clean, great souvenirs!1
This is one of my favorite spots to explore and find unique items and cute souvenirs!
Loved this place. The workers were so nice and the it was so clean. They have lots of cool things and they're really not that expensive.
Great. Lots of souvenirs food and snacks. Quiet large in size and something for all. Worth while venture if in the area.
Lots of things to look at. Great food.
It had some good souvenirs, typical items you'd expect, some local items offered. Ice cream shop..massive scoops, Starbucks served and grill items.
My sister used to work here, and I've been coming since then. There is so much to look at, and a great variety. My qualm is that some stuff is definitely on the pricy side, tho I suppose it's to be expected when it's more geared toward tourists. The cafe has good food, and they're always friendly. They also had one of my favorite perfumes ever, and I received it for my birthday. Definitely worth visiting, esp the beautiful jewelry and gallery. A bit of something for everyone.
Loved this place. The food was delicious, staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice gift items.
Tremendous amount of eclectic gifts especially from the area and all price ranges.
ABSOLUTE MUST SEE! Pictures do not do justice! Just go, you won't regret it. There was plenty more pics I could have taken but was just in awe of the view. Husband and I went for our Anniversary from Wisconsin. So worth it!
Way bigger and nicer than I anticipated! They have everything here, from souvenirs to full meals. They also have a pressed penny machine, which is always exciting for a collector! Service was really wonderful and everyone seemed like they were having a great time. I hadn’t even planned on stopping in here, but left having eaten lunch and gotten a penny! Worth checking out for sure while you’re in the garden and need a pick-me-up or gift.
Surprisingly large, almost overwhelming, with everything from the usual gift-shop junk to fine Native American art, clothing , etc. Excellent
A lot of nice souvenirs in this store, and the snack bar is good, too.
My kids loved sluicing for their own stones and gems in the back- we got so many stones for the money spent, compared to buying individually at shops or other tourist stops. Also I was so excited that there was local honey available to purchase! Great place to stop after exploring the sights.
The name says it all. A must see if you are in Colorado springs. Keep your eyes open for the magpie a black and white bird that will entertain you and mimic sounds that you make. And just be aware of your surroundings you are in there place of life. Mountain lions are around.
Tourist spot but our five year old loved it.
A must see trader if in the region. The shop has a wholesome fresh food and great shopping. With great easy walks, scenery and close to city and hotels.
Very interesting place. Sure the prices are high just like all the tourist sites. This one is special by selling some of the items manufactured by the Indians here in US. They have some so many items. Looks like the building is compose of 7 buildings that were added through the years. If you visit the park stop at the trading post also. Nice people work here that will answer all your questions.
Enjoyed our visit to the Garden of the Gods. Easy to get around- plenty of places to stop and walk around. The views were stunning! The park was very clean and everyone we came in contact with was friendly. This is definitely a destination we will tell people about.
Great ice cream there. Enjoyed it after a long hike!
Great place to come after visiting garden of the gods
Nice place. Friendly staff. Nice collection of things to buy. Extraordinarily pretty cashier... Seemed other worldly.
Large trading post with so many choices from t-shirts and postcards to fine jewelry and art. Something for everyone on any budget!
Used to be much better. They have really upgraded the look and merchandise, bit the staff is not as knowledgeable as the used to be, and it has lost some of its charm. Now it is just your run of the mill tourist trap.
We were very happy with the prices and the service at Garden of the Gods trading Post. I would definitely recommend stopping there to get a cuppa coffee a bite to eat and of course samples of the fudge. We had a great time there and my grandson loved it.
We love visiting The Garden of the Gods. And we make it a point to visit here for the yummy fudge, food, and the huge variety of items. The outdoor patio is beautiful, and a great place to regroup and relax. The Trading Post offers gifts for any occasion, and beautiful artwork, gems, and jewelry, alongside clothing, novelty items.... Pretty much anything you might want.
Friendly folks, beautiful surroundings and all the kick-knacks and souvenirs you could ask for!
The most beautiful place in all of Colorado. Abundant wildlife, trails, and parking. Heavy pedestrian traffic, so be wary when going on the turns. All sorts of tours in the area. 10/10 Must See.
Very neat items and staff is very friendly. Lots of stuff to look at and good food. Everything is pretty pricey but thats to expect at a tourist attraction.
If you are looking for an awesome Colorado themed gift. This is the place.
Educational events, videos, games, shows and more. All interactive and enjoyable for kids and adults of all ages. Breathtaking views and relaxing spots.
very nice shop, a ton more then ur basic souvenir shop
Very nice store. They have much to offer including a restaurant and Starbucks coffee. But, the prices of their items are too expensive. We have been traveling and visiting the National parks and have seen things that they sell cheaper. Drop the prices 20%.
Free entrance. East access to parking lot. Awesome views and we'll marked trails. I feel safe hiking the trails here.
Amazing place for tourists and shoppers! It's a massive gift shop with a wide variety of souvenirs. There's even Balanced Rock Café for people who want to taste a delicious meal and there's seating in the fresh outdoors. Garden of the Gods Trading Post is a worthy tourist attraction.
I love going here. I have lived in Colorado for 3 year & have been to garden of the gods many times. I never get tired of going. It's so beautiful & a must see attraction!
Amazing scenery. We took the guided tour but afterwards drive through ourselves so that we could stop along the way and walk through different areas. The Segway tours looked fun but we didn't take those. You can also bike through!
Nice shop, great collection of items, and the cafes and fudge shop are a cool addition.
One of Natures most beautiful places. Unusual and wonderful. A drive you will not soon forget. Be warned however, you will want to pull over to take pictures. If you do people on bicycles are a bit testy about parking in the bike lane for a few seconds and them having to be inconvenienced to go around a 20 ft. space. Great place to drive through.
A great place to go in Colorado Springs that is completely free to visit. We walked the Siamese Twins Trail and it is absolutely beautiful. We also brought our kids along and it wasn't difficult at all. On the way out we visited the gift store and picked up some post cards, everyone there was very nice and they offered us some coupons for lunch in the cafe.
A must do for anyone who visits the park. Great place to have a morning coffee after a hike.
We had a wonderful time at the Trading Post at Garden of the Gods! We began by ordering our lunch and sitting out on their gorgeous patio. There was a slight breeze, greenery all around, and the food was delicious! Next on the agenda was spending time inside the Trading Post itself! They have the perfect gift for everyone, yourself included, and marvelous stocking stuffers for Christmas! They also have a full line of snacks, candy, popcorn, ice cream and anything you would desire to eat! Garden of the Gods easily deserves 5 stars!
We really enjoyed this stop. They have been around for 90 years or so. If there is a touristy item related to the Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods areas you wish to purchase, they probably have it here. The snack bar/restaurant has buffalo burgers and other fare. There is an ice cream shop and homemade fudge.
A very nice place to see and take a nice walk and take it all in loved it
Most variety in one shop. Lots of interesting things!
I love this place so much, I visit as often as I can. I love the Views, the food, the Souvenirs and the stories.
This is a great store. Lots of gifts. Nice staff
Gets better every year, always great family fun.
Awesome hiking trails for the whole family... definitely worth spending some time here.
Good food and great selection of Colorado merchanise
Has some easy trails to hike, amazing views, you can even climb if you have a permit
Nice area to stop, just not as many shopping options that were unique
Nice folks. Wide range of souvenirs. Some very affordable. Others a bit steep. People are friendly and helpful. GET SOME FUDGE. The best I've had in years. The chili cheese fries, however, were a dismal soggy waste of a fair bit of money. Go for the onion rings. They looked great.
Love to come back here.
A great place to visit in Colorado Springs. We biked through the park. A little climb and then a nice descent around the back of the park. Amazing thing is that it is right near town.
One of the best kept secrets within Garden of the Gods! Amazing selection of items, great restaurants and desserts as well!
Very nice place with lots to look at. It was a little chaotic in organization though and there was no clear path to get to patio with my dog without walking through a tunnel of people and merchandise. She did fine, but I imagine a wagging tail could have knocked some merchandise over.
Great site. Good store.
Thank goodness I'm local and can come here often. Tons of things to see and there's something for everyone!
The Trading Post has always been a fun place to go! They have a huge store with some "different" kinds of popcorn and food, a gift shop, and unique pottery, geodes, etc. They sell delicious fudge, tasty buffalo burger ( and other foods)in the cafe. An ice cream shop etc. We like to the outdoor patio to eat and enjoy the landscaping. Highly recommend it to anyone!
I drive through here just to take in a big sigh of peace. It is always faithful to deliver majestic views and wildlife glimpses. The cheeseburger at the trading post was a welcome cap to the mid morning reandevous of this local girl.
Great items. Pricey
It's cool, go check it out. Good parking awesome deck view of the gardens and pikes peak.
There is such a great variety of things available from unique snacks and a large variety of fudge to jewelry, clothing and fun knick knacks. The ice cream shop and cafe are great for a meal or a quick snack.
Awesome place. I have been going here since I was a child. They have so many cool and interesting items for sale and the view is just goregeous!!!!
Nice stop for some curios or some food. Beautiful area and city park that is free. Nice hiking areas, some are wheel chair accessible.
Love this place best shopping bring all your out of town guests HERE P
Great store with large variety. Also has a restaurant. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Above and beyond as a Garden of the Gods business.
Good atmosphere! The lady at the ice cream place was really nice. They have a lot of good items for gifts.
Great place to look around, nice artwork.
Nice place with food, coffee, and seating. Also has merchandise for sale. Free parking and entrance / bathrooms.
A good choice for a souvenir shop, good selection, some things you can find anywhere, and others that are pretty local. You can find something in just about any price range too. I do wish they had a little more variety with the shot glasses, but it was not the worst I have seen either. I did not have time to try out the restaurant in the gift shop, maybe in a couple months when I go back.
Great spot to buy local art and Colorado goodies. Something in every price range. Also serving coffee, fudge, ice cream and lunch foods.
An absolutely beautiful sight to behold, from all angles there is something different. Even on cloudy days, the trails and the small, yet fulfilling hikes show you the significance of the Earth below and around you. Must visit for those in Colorado Springs.
A lot of various gifts. Go there of you need something to bring home
Great outdoor area by the cafe. Typical tourist-type things for sale throughout the trading post (clothing, toys, fudge, postcards, books, etc.)
If you are visiting Colorado Soeings area this is a must see. I highly recommend the trading post at Garden of the Gods
This place is a total tourist trap. The food is way too expensive for the just ok taste. I would not go back or recommend it.
So cool! The buffalo burgers were amazing and there was a really adorable back patio to sit and eat. The gift shop was very large. It was somewhat disappointing that there were hardly any "Garden of the Gods" sweatshirts and t-shirts, most were "Pike's Peak". I still bought 2 shirts and a sticker.
Lots of different options for souvenirs and art work. Lots of jewelry. Good ice cream
Wonderful selection of jewelry from Native American artists! Skip the silly tourist stuff and you'll find beautiful handmade items such as paintings, purses, carvings, jewelry, and so much more! I'm local and love to shop the Post.
We love to come here and walk, especially on the fall when it is cooler. Besides the main paved trail, there are other unpaved trails to hike/walk.
Nice selection of product and not too pricey.
It's a perfect expression of the intention for a open, social center to honor Indian art and crafts, and a deeply rooted connection to nature. I go out and sit under the trees on the patio every summer. Folks from all over the country. A lovely place to be!
The store is stocked with a huge number of tourist items to buy, which is great for kids. However, we took our grandchildren there and ordered drinks and snacks at the mini café and had an unpleasant experience. We bought a large plastic container of popcorn and it was awful! I looked for an expiration date on it and on the bottom was written in magic marker a date from July (we visited in August). I looked on the shelves and turned a few of the containers over to look at the bottom and saw that some of them had been sitting on the shelf for almost 2 months. This is gross and unacceptable. I was issued a refund, but I worried the whole day that the kids would be sick. Do not buy the popcorn, in any flavor.
So many treasures & souvenirs to choose from. Restaurant inside the trading post is good too.
The cafe was amazing. The food was a little pricy but well worth the money. The trading post has SO many different gifts and souvenirs. Great place to stop into
Cute trading post with many different sections for food, art, tshirts, etc. Didn't have anything that appealed to me on this trip, but had a good time looking around.
Perfect pit stop for my toddler on long walks/runs
Beauty in the extreme! We drove through, but you can hike, horseback ride or take a Segway. So jealous of my daughter for getting to live so close by and can experience the beauty any time she wants! The trading post is awesome. Tons of souvenirs from the very basic...such as magnets, clothing and coffee mugs to expensive gorgeous authentic Indian pottery and jewelry. If you're in the Colorado Springs area you MUST see Garden of the Gods!
Huge maze of a tourist trap but well done.
Great shopping. Good prices. Food was good
Best gift shop ever! Beautiful setting. Lots of lovely gift and collectible items and a gallery of fine arts and crafts. Also a cafe and free samples of cookies, fudge, and taffy.
We've come several times to the Trading Post over the years, and always enjoy looking at all the items for sale. The kids always find a souvenir they love. The fudge tastes amazing - free samples! The little restaurant seems to be staffed well, and I appreciate an ice cold beer after a long hike w the family. The patio is peaceful and filled w lovely sound of water - from both the sluice for panning, and the fountain. Everyone is helpful and friendly, so a big thanks from this momma of a large family!
Crowds. Hordes. Heards. Lines of people. Traffic. Searching for parking. Chatter. No silence. The title of this place is grandiose. The reality is far from it.
Always love visting the garden plus visting the trading post been here three different times three different times of the year
One of the nicest layouts I've ever seen
Big shop and cute cafe with an awesome outdoor patio. If you can't find a souvenir here just stop looking. All the staff I had contact with were supper friendly and happy to help. Bathrooms were very clean. A must stop!!
Dog friendly store but must respect the food area without you dog. Thanks for being a support for the area and fur kind.
Loved it!! But need to find a better time to go, it was so crowded and people everywhere. We went in Aug.
Nothing like it. Pure Colorado!
Beautiful! Nicely laid out and a very nice patio! Good food and lots of various things to look at and buy!
We always bring family here when they’re visiting, and they always find something they love! Shirts, jewelry, toys, snacks, geodes-there’s something for everyone. They even have their own coffee shop serving Starbucks coffee, which saved my day because I had started the day uncaffeinated!
I love going to browse! Lots of cool items!
Took a quick tour, and got some nice views.
So beautiful. All levels of hiking trails. Easy to read trail maps. No admission costs. Lots of wildlife
It's pretty decent. Lots if gifts and the fudge is good
Neat gifts but the food and drinks were pricey.
Good variety, clean public restrooms, surprisingly reasonable prices for souvenirs. Although we did not use it, they have a seemingly robust snack bar. We did get 7 ice cream cones which was on sale in honor of an anniversary (didn't catch which one, but thought I heard someone say it was close to 100 years) . They also have a vendor in the parking lot that rents scooters. Not sure if this is long term or was just for the weekend.
Fun little place hidden away with food and nice views.
Colorado springs is beautiful. Garden of the Gods is magical. Take the time to climb and hike. Be aware it is very busy and even in the spring can be very hot. The trading post can be pricey but they have some beautiful items for sale. Go further into the mountains. Pikes peak and thunder mountain camping. I just cannot stress how good these places make you feel.
No trip to Garden of the Gods is complete without stopping at the trading post. Food's a little pricey, but I guess that can be expected in a touristy area. But since you don;t have to pay to get into the park it's pretty worth it. Oh, and the ice cream has no business being as good as it is.
I cannot get enough of this place. I absolutely love it here. This will have been my third trip to this gift shop. You can spend hours there if you wanted to. Besides the wonderful gift shop that has the most unique items I've ever seen anywhere, it also has a restaurant, a coffee shop, and then Art Gallery. A really nice outdoor sitting area with some cool fountains. It used to have an arcade and I'm not sure why they got rid of it it wasn't a huge arcade but it was a nice little arcade. Now it's a employee break room. They have some fudge, and I'll give you a nice little sample of it to see if you like it. It's really clean really well-managed, and I just love going in here and looking around with my kids. The prices are very reasonable for a gift shop and there's something for everyone. They have a lot of local artist and craft makers that displace up here you can look at just to look at or purchase if you want. It's also a great place to park, to be able to get to a lot of nice trails.
Lovely private place to eat lunch. Ice cream is amazing and the fudge is always a good way to go.
Just because of how expensive the actual good products are. Lots of beautiful art in every aspect but prices are ranked too high. Other than that it had a lot to over for people with different taste.
Largest gift store ever. Food was good.
Buddy the manager was extremely friendly and ready to share tips and advice on how best to enjoy the park as well as some history of the trading post itself. The facility is huge with shopping, art and food! Very good fudge!
So many choices for shopping. A family favorite for gifts, souvenirs and snacks
Very neat store! I found lots of gifts to take back home!! Worth the stop for sure and the staff were very nice :)
Very clean. Plenty of gift ideas and extremely friendly staff.
Passed through here while on a Jeep tour. This place has a lot of really cool CO collectibles. I only wish I’d had more time to shop!
What a fun place. Of Course the garden of the gods is spectacular. The trading post had lots of fun stuff and the bison burgers are really good. Don't confuse this with the visitor center. Two different places. You need to go to both. Trading post is inside the park. Visitor center is not. If your hungry go to trading post. If you want to learn about the park go to the visitor center.
If you are in Colorado you have to visit this place... It is BEAUTIFUL!!! A great place to take the family and enjoy the trails.. Just make sure to take water when your walking around.. There are also many other things to do but we didn't have a chance to do them but we will definitely go back...
Best place in Colorado for a souvenir to remember your visit. Do not pass up this opportunity, you won't regret it.
Great place to visit in Colorado Springs. They have everything you need for your visit to the area.
Love the outdoor patio. Good ice cream too.
I love shopping in this store they wonderful things.
