Seriously? I stood next to two $3-4K bikes I was very interested in getting info on as I’m ready to pull the trigger on a good full suspension bike (and I’ve done my homework) and NO ONE helped me. The sales guys looked right at me and did nothing. Some guy came in looking at cheap bikes and another a helmet and they were helped immediately. Really hoping this isn’t a ‘because I’m a woman’ thing, because I’d like to think it’s 2019 and we are past that. Walked out, your loss.

Eli Gabriella

These guys are world-class!! I walked in with a broken $50 Craigslist bike, and Joe in service, and the other guy (I didn't catch his name) dropped everything and spent an hour looking for a $27 part for it, on a busy Sunday. They didn't owe me any of the time they spent helping me out, and I truly appreciate it. VERY highly recommended

Sandor Dornbush

Great shop if you want a new giant bike or just want to drink beer or coffee. They really don't have much other than giant bikes. They will send you to their other store for anything other than trivial work. Four stars mostly for being a bar which shows bike racing.

Jason Janelle

Anthony Schmeck

Rented bikes here for the hygiene loop today. These guys got us out on the road quickly. Friendly and knowledgeable. And good coffee at the on-site coffee bar.

Great shop! Hoping to have a beer at their bar while they fixed a pannier mount but they were to quick!

Ignacio Torres

Great service and knowledgeable staff. They're very thorough and helpful so you cannot expect swift service although they do their best. Great people working there!

Clint Gershenson

Best service ever. The staff was inviting and knowledgeable about all things bike related. While my bike was getting tuned, I had a staff member walk me around helping me find the necessities. Then installed them on my bike after it was done.

Jacob Silverman

Super helpful mechanics. Went to u-bikes and they couldn’t help me but these guys did, no fuss, no problem. Legends. I think the mechanics names were Nick, Max and Joey. 10/10.

Conor Maher

Awesome staff. Sold me my first bike last fall and helped me figure everything out for a good two hours.

Andrew Armiger

After a fruitless and solitary visit to the local outlet for the National Chain Bike Corp. (which closely mirrored visits to the location in town for the Regional Chain Bike Corp.), I took a short trip to FC and received a far more fulfilling experience in getting what I sought for my cycle, plus some nice extras. I shall never stray again, Full Cycle!

THE BEST. PERIOD. I bought a great bike at Full Cycle. But in the first month it developed this loud squeaking/squawking noise. I took it in a few times, & the crew happily replaced the bottom bracket. The squeak/squawk remained. These guys are MASTERS at what they do, and I had no doubt they could fix the problem. But their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO GREAT that, rather than asking me to put my bike in the shop a few more times trying to find the source of the squeak, they REPLACED THE ENTIRE BIKE! AMAZING. What's more is, when I picked up the new bike, I watched Joe work on it. The precision and care he put into his work was astounding. Everyone at Full Cycle has this increasingly rare thing called INTEGRITY. This the the best bike shop, with the best product choice, the best service, and the best beer in Boulder (which sets a high bar) for sure. But I'm guessing it's one of the best shops in the nation. I mean, what could be better? They have it all: product choice; expertise; friendly crew that is never condescending; master mechanics; very cool owner, plus beer, coffee, and munchies at the very cool bar. You don't even have to be a bike freak to enjoy Full Cycle. But if you are a bike freak, well, seriously, why would you ever go elsewhere? This place is the best.

The guys in their service shop are super nice and knowledgeable but have trouble committing to their timelines and staying organized. I rented a bike from Full Cycle for a triathlon two summers ago and when I came in to pick up my rental they had over-rented their stock and were out of inventory. A little stressful to be told “there are no bikes left”, but they ended up pulling one off the sale shelf and let me use it as a rental. So we were good. I took my road bike in for a service a little later. I was told I’d receive a call once it was complete, but a phone call never came and two weeks later I dialed in to find out it had been finished for about a week. Last week, I took my mountain bike in for a service. I made it clear I had a race in 10 days and needed the bike back by Thursday (over a week from when I turned it in). The tech said no problem, that it was likely it would be complete Tuesday or Wednesday, but definitely Thursday. Thursday rolled around and I hadn’t received a call, so I dialed in an hour before close and they told me it would be done within the hour—standby. Never heard anything. Called again the next morning (Friday) and was told to come in at 1:30. If you’ve read this far the next part will not surprise you: I came in at 1:30 and the bike still was not ready. The Full Cycle service department is like that friend who keeps saying they’ll be there in 5 minutes so you wait and now an hour has gone by your damn French fries are cold and soggy with ketchup.

I had a terrific experience at Full Cycle. Greeted immediately by Matthew Haas. He was knowledgeable, friendly, extremely patient with all my questions. No pressure to buy, but I did! He was great with fitting the bike as was Stephanie. They recommended a stem swap for my comfort and did it while I waited. Oh and all of this was at closing time and no one ever made me feel hurried! Now the icing on the cake...when I returned the next day with a slight problem, Matthew took care of it; no problem. Thank you for a terrific experience in your store. You have my return business!!

Cory Barnes

Went to look for an entry-level mountain bike for my girlfriend, who happens to be a student. Saleswoman kept trying to push $1,000K + bikes on us, and basically said their $500 bikes would fall apart if taken on local trails. Yes, it makes sense to invest in good gear. But if you have a budget and need to stick to it, then you ride the hardest you can on the best bike you can afford. We'll shop at University Bikes next time.

Amazing being from Indiana I dont get the opportunity to experience business like this. It's literally all of my favorite things. I think they only thing they're missing is a disc golf selection, but this places is incredible. The food is little and delicious. The Baristia/Bartender was really friendly and helpful. The Kolsch I got was amazing. The Americano was one of the best I've had. Maybe it's because I'm a Hoosier but this place was aces.

Davide the Marketing Man is amazing!! Seriously...this place rocks

The only place I'll take my bike to have the dreads de-pablo'd!

Best bike shop in Boulder

Kelsey Wisinski

Love these guys!! Every time I have gone in I have had great service. Recently bought a new bike and Steve was really helpful every step of the way. Love that they are honest about quality of bikes and work with you instead of pressuring you - they dont just try to sell you a stupid expensive bike and push you out the door.

Adam Sher

Great bike shop and one of the best selections of draft beer in town at the in shop bar called the Tune Up.

Jim Wiggers

I'm pretty happy with the guys here. I was in the market for a new mountain bike and the sales team went out of their way to guide me in the right direction. Several staff members helped out, real team work here. I walked out with a great deal on a great Ibis, can't wait to break it in at Moab!

Fieniledellalavanda

Nice people good price!

Mark Mortell

Andy Shields

Amazing, friendly service. They had my rental bike ready in minutes and put my seat on the bike. One of my tires had a slow leak and when I showed up 5 minutes before closing they didn't hesitate to repair the tire on the spot. Kudos to Jack for providing great customer service.

Caleb Jares

A bike purchase comes with lifetime free tune-ups (less replacement parts). While you're waiting for your bike to be finished, you can head on over to the bar for a coffee or beer. They have a lot of great beers on tap. If you're bored of the typical tap beers in Boulder try coming over here.

Tyler Heinl

Frank Reynolds

Great service

Weston Hood

It's ok. They could use more space because their inventory is sad. Also they have about 2 kona bikes so not a reliable Kona dealer if you're looking to look/try.

Robin Soper

Hands down the best bike shop in Boulder. Three years ago when I got serious about road riding I made the rounds at all the major Boulder stores shopping for a reasonably priced, near top of the line road bike. I chose Full Cycle because the offered the best comprehensive deal with an expert bike fit. They are the best in the business, whether you are a casual rider, commuter or serious rider. Their mechanics are superb, very honest and can fix anything on any bike. Everyone who works there is super friendly.

Shaun Oshman

I brought a brand new bike there to get set up. They did a fantastic job with it. The work was done in the time frame that they had stated and was quality. Always good to support the great folks at the local bike shop. Thanks, fellas.

Liliana Martinez

Rented from them last year. Great prices and great bikes. Very friendly staff. Went back today and it's even better. The have a coffee bar, but most importantly a tap bar of CO beers. Had a great time today!

James Kapptie

One of coolest bike shops in country... Period.

Michael Melley

Great shop. Nice crew

Ryan Ford

I love the bar/cafe area here. Great spot to grab a drink or get some work done.

These guys were great. They helped me pick out the perfect bike for me. Great people selling great products. I would 100% recommend.

Update: 4 days later, still no contact from Joe or anyone else from the shop. ----------------------- Long story short, take your bike to a shop that identifies the problem and fixes it the first time. I'll never go back to Full Cycle, and when I told my more experienced riding buddies, they were surprised I took it there in the first place. They examined the bike, recommended service and when the agreed-upon service was done, they called to tell me it "wouldn't shift right" and they needed to do more service (no shifting issue when i brought it in, no shifting issue identified during diagnosis) When they gave it back to me, it still had a shifting issue and the brakes (which they fixed) stopped working the next day. I brought the bike back in, they re-examined and fixed an existing issue w/ the brakes that they had not identified or fixed the first time for free (cool, thank you). Then they gave me another, different reason the bike wasn't shifting well. They made a free adjustment to try to fix the shifting (cool, thank you), but then wrote in their final summary "done. bike not shifting well, suspect cassette," which is a totally different, new and now unresolved issue. Multiple different mechanics coming to multiple different conclusions, with no one actually resolving the problem.

Christopher Nelsen

6 stars if I could. That's how great the service and staff is here. Really not sure why this shop has 3 dollar signs. I came in with a wacked rear derailleur, shop took care of me with a smile and free adjustment. (I did not buy the bike here) Even spent the time to talk bikes at the end of the day(6:55pm) nearing closing time. Being new to Boulder I'm glad I have found a shop I trust. And beer.

Joshua Sroge

Great local shop with coffee bar, you will get the specialized attention in selecting the best gear. Support your local shop, you can't get this top service on the interwebs. Extra thanks to Carly for the extra effort to find the size 47 shoes that had been misplaced.

Dan Mackin

These guys are great. Very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Great selection. Pearl St. location is significantly bigger but both are great Boulder bike shops.

Brian Bishop

Purchased my first road bike from there. Great service, tons of knowledge. RC did a pro fit for me and it was great. They are always willing to help.

Jamie Morin

Love the place!

Jonathan Gruen

Great work done for reasonable prices. Other shops in town just want your money, full cycle cares about getting your bike working 100%. Mechanics are really nice and they seem to have a great selection and some well priced bikes. It’s always a positive experience at full cycle!

I gave a bad review couple days ago for an issues experienced with an employee of this place. Max called me and make it right for me. This is very valuable and important for businesses and I really appreciate he taking care of me. We got a new bike and I'm looking forward to keep doing business with them, we all make mistakes but no many places care about like them. Thank you Max, see you guys soon!

Kevin Lewis

Very nice people, great location.

Will Glause

Typical snobby bike shop where if you don't have shaved legs they are aloof.... came in to buy a bike for the wife and basically ignored me until I went up to them and asked for help. Then the rep did not have enough time to show me products just sent me to the Giant website.

Wolf

Joe K (and everyone else) was super helpful even though I arrived after the bike shop paet of the business had closed ... thank you for your assistance •Note: it might be a wise idea to list bike shp hours separately from cafe hours

Paras Shah

I could not recommend this place enough! I had a really amazing experience here, we went in on a Saturday and they were packed! But, I was lucky enough to get Matthew to help me out, I test rode a couple of bikes and found the one I loved. The team at Full Cycle got it built and Matthew also helped me get some extra stuff I needed. Plus, they have a coffee shop/tap room that you can grab a drink from while you wait! Matthew answered all my questions and made the experience as is easy as someone could. If you are in need a of a new bike, something to rent, or just a beer I would say Full Cycle is worth the stop. I will be heading back when I am ready for something new or just need a tune up!

There are good quality bicycles. I bought my bike from here and I'm very satisfy with it

Ian Goldsbrough

Amazing shop, super friendly, helpful, energetic staff. We hired bikes from these guys and they were of the highest quality. They even set up the suspension perfectly for each of our individual weights. They provided great advice for the trails in the area and gave us some top tips. Ive been cycling for 20 years and its rare to find service like this in a bike shop.

catherine barricklow

We just had an incredibly great experience at Full Cycle. I bought a bike off Craigslist, brought it in for new pedals, and literally had the best treatment that I could have imagined as we discovered a few other tune-up needs and quirks with the bike. The mechanics expertise and outstanding customer service is top-of-the-line in the town!

Brock Samson

Mechanics in the back are grate and I'll leave it there. Vary hard to get good people like that. Best shop in town sence 2000s. I will not be back if the mechanics are not there

Madelyn Moon

Natasha Butler

Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and non-pushy staff. As a very novice 'cyclist' I felt very welcome the entire time while I shopped and I ended up purchasing my new bicycle here.

Braden Alsnauer

I recently started coming here after I got a flat tire and the guy who helped me was really nice and helpful when I was in a time crunch. I also work across the street so I wanted to support my neighbors. I got a new bike and came in with some questions about switching handlebars and the same guy who fixed my flat was super helpful and answered a bunch of questions I had and ordered a new stem and brake levers for me. I told him I was trying to dial in the fit and feel of the new bike and he told me if the components didn't work it would be no problem to come back and return them or swap them out. So I put on the new components myself, tested them out for a few days and they just weren't right at all. Today I took them back and a guy who I haven't interacted with was at the register. When I told him I wanted to return the items he aggressively told me that he had no desire to stock these at all and essentially made me feel stupid for returning them, even though a couple employees previously (and kindly) told me that wouldn't be a problem. I'm just starting to get into bikes and doing my own minor work. I was very grateful for their help ordering. I was planning on getting a few other things while I was there returning the items, but I left feeling embarrassed. I want to like this shop, I've had some great service, the cafe and bar is awesome, etc. I get it, it's August and it's a bike shop. I work in customer service, it's crazy right now. I don't leave reviews. I honestly don't care enough to, usually. But this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope everyone else has good experiences here. Today left me feeling defeated.

Best bike shop in Boulder! Jamie is my homegirl, she always knows exactly what I want and need before I even do most days. This is one of the two places I genuinely trust the mechanics to do quality work on my bike - the two Joes in service are the best. They truly care about their customers and aren't afraid to go above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. Without fail, Matthew Haus puts a smile on my face with his witty sense of humor. Love this shop. All around great people!

Nicholas Betts

Full cycle is an honest, trustworthy bike shop. Both locations have great atmosphere and even better employees. I came in asking for some specific products, and even though they didn't have what I was looking for, they suggested another product which worked very well. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for advice or parts! Thanks for being friendly and welcoming!

M G

Was not impressed with the place. Had a bike assembled there. When riding home had issues with various parts not being tightened properly. Stem was very loose and not properly aligned. Fenders were not properly fixed and rattled all over. Best part was hearing the staff loudly talking trash about the bike while I was heading out with it. Apologies for not spending $1K+ on a bike to cruise around the harsh environments of the city of Boulder. Won't be back. Hopefully they hire some people that can get past the fact that some people aren't compelled to spend tons on a bike to putz around town on and are happy that people are paying for service in their shop. Only reason I had my bike "professionally assembled" was for warranty coverage. Didn't need the condescending attitude from the clowns in the shop. Was able to properly adjust everything myself. Whoever runs this place should really think about the optics of a snobby attitude. Rent on Pearl ain't cheap.

Henry Kvietok

Full Cycle is the place to go for top-notch service. I purchased a new racing road bike from them and just had it custom fit today. The fit specialist went out of his way to adjust everything including aerobars during the free fit session. I had a slight issue with the rear derailleur alignment and the techs were fast to fix it and super friendly. I highly recommend Full Cycle!

In March I purchased a Kona Process 134 DL (demo) mountain bike from Full Cycle. Before the purchase I did research online however I relied heavily on the staff for their recommendations. They were very knowledgeable and found this bike that fit my needs and was in my price range. This bike has been an incredible investment that I’ve already seen the return on with all the fun I’ve had riding it. The Kona Process 134 DL is a great all-around mountain bike with a stellar suspension setup, confidence inspiring and gobs of grip from the Maxxis tires. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking to push the limits mountain biking. Shout out to the staff at Full Cycle. Their customer service and knowledge is the reason this is the exclusive bike shop I go to.

Nancy Chandler

Full cycle is just a bar with drunk salesmen( my opinion only)

Kelly Hemelstrand

Very knowledgeable and helpful crew. This is a bicycle shop you must go to before you purchase a bike from anywhere else.. I am a customer for life. Thanks for everything you guys do..

Bill Schneider

Didn't like this place at all. Tried to rent a bike for my brother to use for a day of riding. Overpriced for a giant trance. Tried to rent another bike before the giant, they said it was all good to go but when i showed up it was already gone. Gear isn't too impressive either. Small selection of full suspension bikes, no real quality brands, everything overpriced. Go to another shop, there are so many others in boulder.

Jonathan Cheifitz

Not too long ago after multiple weeks of test riding what felt like every 29er in Boulder I found the Giant Anthem in your Boulder Shop. I have to say I was treated very well and am very happy with my new ride (very happy, I love it). So much that I am finding it hard to set up a time to bring it in for its initial tune up. ( I just don’t want to be away from it for more than a day!) Anyways, I’m super happy, I will pass on the recommendation to my friends and just want to say keep it up. I wish more stores still treated folks as you do. Down to earth, no ego, just good people, who love biking and getting people what they need.

Mohammed Noufal

Crap service, overpriced, unfriendly.

James Kirby

All of the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly on every visit, and I have scored some awesome deals on bike purchases here.. got a rad new commuter bike for under $400! The venue also hosts fun events regularly (e.g. pub trivia) and has a great free perk points program. Lots of good stuff on tap, too. :)

Stefanie M

I was very disappointed in their communication and time management. At the beginning they said that they would need about a week. They delayed the repair several times without notifying me. It ended up being 11 days which is quite a long time for minor repairs and a check up. The second time I had to call because they hadn't, I asked them to communicate better. I rely on my bike on a daily basis and I need to plan ahead if I cannot use it. They told me that they were short on staff. If we are talking about not calling once and delaying the repair by a day or two, I understand and respect that. But they didn't call and delayed the repair 4 times. They did not give me a chance to plan ahead or to pick a different bike shop that would have done the repair quicker. Did anyone notice the delay and apologize? - No. Why don't they work with appointments so that I can bring my bike the day it is actually worked on? And why don't they call? It's a matter of 30 seconds. Two stars because from what I can see so far, the bike is running well now.

At "Full Cycle" in Boulder last night. This is a combination bicycle shop that has special bike designs for women. It is also a bar and has limited food selection. The staff is pleasant, friendly, low key and do not pressure you. You can go there for a few hours with a small group and have a great time. Five star rating--me and my friends will go back. Easy street parking after 5PM

Aaron Muir

We drove 1.5 hours here in hopes of renting some mountain bikes to hit local trails. We waited in line by the rental section patiently for other customers to be served. After everyone seemed to be taken care of, they looked past us as if we weren't standing there and asked if anyone needed any assistance. We said, "Yeah, hi we were... " and then they turned and walked away from us. Moments later the manager appeared and asked the same thing, "Has everyone been helped?" and the moment we spoke to him, he started walking away from us and towards someone who just walked in the door. Not sure if we smelled or didnt look the part or ??? I dont know. I've never been blown off like that before. Me and my girlfriend feel pretty horrible right now. I guess we'll go hiking instead.

Kyle Ahern

Extremely easy going and friendly staff. I rented a bike for two days, and they had little storage pouches that strapped to the bike I found very convenient. The rental bike was great for getting around boulder. I only took a star off because they don't accept mobile payments. I was especially satisfied with how helpful the staff was, they went above and beyond to suggest things or places to ride, etc.

Great customer service! I purchased a lock, got the key stuck in it and had to get it cut. (not their fault, I blame the lock company for this) But I went in and explained, they replaced my lock for a better one for free, and threw in a water bottle on top of it! Situation diffused! Awesome!

from everything that i've heard they're a hell of a bike shop. i've only drank coffee here in the morning and beer in the evening. it's a social space for bicyclists and the happy hour is DAAAANK. what's not to like??

1. Got a bite to eat in the bar\cafe there before setting off. 2. Hired a decent enough Giant full sus. 3. Went on the local trails and had a blast. 4. Job done

My experience with Full Cycle has been 5 Star Plus. They worked very closely with me in choosing and fitting me for a Felt Electric (Versa). I started with a different model that they special ordered for me and were happy to send it back with full refund after riding it for a few weeks. After that we found something that worked better for me and took meticulous care to be sure that I was fit for the best ride. The staff and owner were infinitely patient. Since then (July 2016) I've been back a number of times for very friendly and effective free adjustments and brought my son in for a quick fitting that totally changed his experience of his bike from awful to great. They even came out and fixed my bike for free at home once!

Stephen Haydel

Great place to hang out for a beer and a snack.

Matthew Teichmann

This place is rad! Have great brands available and who doesn't want some java or a beer while playing bikes!? Steve was awesome on my first visit in with some great conversation about the radness of surly bikes

Chris S

Decent store, they have had a lot of folks come and go. But decent prices. There are better bike shops in Boulder.

Good service and a wide variety of products

Awesome spot with a great staff! And they have a bar!!!

Every LBS is pushing hard to be sharp. Knowledge, skill, quality, service, helpfulness... these guys have it. I bought a bike from them almost 20 years ago, and again last week. There's nothing you need they don't have. Nothing you don't know they can't explain. Prices are solid, and the three employees I dealt with were people I would love to hire myself, to the one. Shop here. K?
