REVIEWS OF Corvus Coffee Roasters IN Colorado

April Rosario

Great location to chill, eat some good food. Nothing but enjoyable experiences here. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

Alison Berger

Great coffee. Nice cozy location. Staff is super helpful in picking a roast. Love the pictures of the farmers they buy their coffee from. We will definitely be back. Fun side note: Corvus translated is raven. I was told the story goes, when a raven finds food, he does not hoard it, but he shares it. There is a herder looking for food, and the raven showed him where the coffee berries were for his goats. I probably totally botched it, but I love the story and how they incorporate it in the design of their facilities and merchandise. Corvus seems to take this same raven mentality in sharing what is good.

Daniel Jin Su Hwang

Coffee is awesome. I strongly recommend cold brew. The fruity and acidity taste adds deep aroma to the coffee. The service and the environment is excellent. However, I will have to take a star off because my stay here for an hour and a half had a constant struggle with stable internet connection. Bring a book, a thing to write, or just a good company, then it should be a fine place to enjoy coffee.

Kyle Gisbert

One of the more notable roasters in Denver, and it rarely disappoints. The staff is just the right blend of coffee shop nerd and helpful kind human being. If you’re a coffee fan and in Denver it’s worth stopping by one of the 2 locations.

Larry Scheer

Best coffee ever. Baristas are great too. Nice place.

William Rogers III

+ great selection of drinks unique to Corvus + great clean, modern atmosphere + friendly staff + perfect for meeting up with a friend to chat + free 2 hour street parking + music isn’t too loud + people don’t camp out here as much as other cafes so although seating is limited, people spend less time. + clean, unisex bathroom - outlets are scarce! only two good spots to use an outlet t the end of a table - not great if you really want a tiny table to yourself: three big tables are meant to be used communally Recommended drink: Kyoto cold brew

Tristan Lyons

Great environment and mood with a nice selection of craft coffees.

Ian Campbell

One of the best coffee roasters in the nation, pushing the envelope and innovating all the time. I've been a fan of the hopped nitro cold brew for years.

Darin Hagre

One of the best coffee places in town, in my opinion. Convenient location with a decent amount of parking (both on-street and off-street), too. I'm pretty much addicted to the Backcountry Iced Coffee ($4.70), a tasty treat for any day.

Caligula Boligrafo

Awesome coffee shop and even better roasts. I tried the two Costa Rican beans that were available at the time I went. Ended up liking one enough to take a bag home. High quality all around

John Ferris

I go here as much as I can though it isn't that close to my house. I like the different coffee flavors they have and the atmosphere is nice.

Brad Kellmayer

Great coffee, knowledgeable friendly staff, warm inviting feel to stay awhile and enjoy some good conversation. Good launching spot to fuel up for a morning bike ride.

Krish Sastry

Best coffee in Southlands!

S Squires

Coffee was great, everything you’d expect from a coffee shop.

David Goliath

Genuine, thoughtful service with a flair for superior flavorings!

Meredith Masse

Service was EXCELLENT. My for-here loose chamomile hot tea hit the spot. Excited to brew coffee at home with beans I purchased.

Josh Showalter

Really good vibe in this shop and the coffee is

Pam Bauer

The coffee is amazing!

Cassidy Strode

I don't drink coffee. However my wife loves this place. Any time we are in the area she goes. Its probably her favorite coffee in Denver.

Delaney Annette

personally, corvus coffee roasters isn’t just a coffee place... it’s a home. i am a regular costumer there and it’s just never like i’ve ever experienced. their lattes taste like heaven, and their muffins taste like i’m sliding off a rainbow. I am always so productive and I feel like i can truly be ME when i’m there. the baristas are so amazing, laura is my favorite! thank you CCR for being not just a coffee place, but for being my second home. i love you

rick burnside

Amazing spot. Fabulous service! Doug was awesome!!!

Vikasini Mahalingam

The staff is lovely and coffee is excellent, but this location has only one outlet tucked in a corner with a note requesting patrons to not stretch a cord across the floor (which is understandable, but renders the only available outlet useless). Point being- only come here for the coffee and ambiance with a fully charged laptop.

Mimi Spindle

Oh my lord, their Nitro brew is strong. I drank half of my medium in very slow sips over an hour and I was buzzing. Then I saved the rest for work from home later, and it took two days to finish. I'd just add it like a shot to my chai tea and be off like a rocket for my morning. The interior is a bit echoy, but not nearly as bad as some industrial chic places. There's enough outlets for everybody. If you like sitting at a table by yourself, this is not the place. Pretty much all the tables must be shared, but there's an excellent collaborative vibe. I haven't seen any obnoxious behavior, everyone's pretty friendly. The ladies at the counter are also super nice! and they really know their coffee, they walked me through a lot of the options as far as overtones and undertones and caffeine strength.

Shawn Dolence

Wonderful cold brews, delightfully refreshing on a warm sunny spring day!

Chris Mospaw

Nice location. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Lots of community tables with room to spread out.

Marc Beacom

Great coffee. Seating is limited and there are no outlets.

Sky Broome

What a great neighborhood coffee shop! The atmosphere has a really cool industrial vibe, and the small shop lent itself to a feeling of community as people shared the space. The drinks are carefully prepared by a friendly staff, and the scone I had was wonderful. I am envious of the people who live in the area and can make this a daily stop!

Julian Lievano

Beautiful coffee shop in an area that I call Greenwood Village though I think it’s technically Denver (GW is west a bit on Belleview). Quite convenient from i25, though getting back may be harder as traffic is business-suburb-rush hour-insane in this area. Corvus is one of the best local coffee roasters, and they offer a fine selections of beans here as well as thoughtfully chosen accessories. Service is quite friendly and overall I’m thrilled to have a real coffee shop or two in this area.

HER

I’m in love with Corvus. This location especially. BUT how is there a coffee shop with ZERO outlets for any power source?! I work remotely — so I’m absolutely heart broken to not be able to go here as much, if at all anymore because of this major issue :( *** UPDATE *** Thanks so much for sharing this great news!! I soooo look forward to coming in when they're installed ;)

Caleb

Everything about Corvus is done wonderfully. The pastries are flaky and the Kyoto coffees are well thought out and unique. The staff is also very welcoming and willing to explain all of the items. I highly recommend!

Benjamin Turpin

The team at corvus continues to deliver excellence cup by cup. The Kyoto cold brew was amazing as we're the breakfast bites. The service was great friendly and fast for a perfect cup look no further.

Matt Wright

Cozy shop with inventive, new-age coffee & tea options. Very friendly staff. Parking is a little difficult street side. I like the location, nonetheless!

acole 2018

Friendly staff, excellent coffee, quick service

Noah Berg

Great friendly staff and delicious coffee, but no plugs so not a good spot for working/editing.

Chase N

Go here all the time. Great coffee. No outlets and the WiFi is terrible but if your just looking for a great cup of coffee and laid back knowledgeable staff this is your spot.

Dane Thompson

I had a great time at this shop. The staff is friendly and helpful with making suggestions. I like the menu selection is nice.

Jennifer Winn

This is a pretty cute little coffee place and my vanilla latte was pretty good. They put the cute leaf into my coffee and they serve it in nice cups so you kind of feel like you're at a friend's house being served coffee. The person I was with got a nitro cold brew served in what kind of looked like a beer cup and it was strange. It was sour.

Self Improver

Not a comfortable place to hang out. Good quality coffee, perfect for a quick in and out coffee stop to refuel. I enjoy supporting small neighborhood coffee shops instead of the major chains. However, no outlets at all for laptop work, all the chairs are hard benches, very uncomfortable place to be for longer that 10 mins. Not a good place for meetings or getting work done. WiFi was also surprisingly slow, even though it had a password.

Roger Haak

Some of the best coffee in Denver

manthan bhavsar

One of those rare places which serves really good coffee. Their pour over selection is very good but it would be great if they could also serve aeropress brewed coffee. Anyway I would highly recommend all the coffee lovers to try their coffee.

Tyler Thomas

Great craft coffee. Impressed with knowledgeable staff. Visiting from out town and tried different coffee over a couple days. Terrific spot for afficiandos among others.

Jaime Vu

Love both locations! Drinks are well thought out and delicious. Kombucha is great as well as the coffee cocktails! Well done!

sophie storey

Corvus Coffee Roasters is an amazing place to dine, study and just all round have an AMAZING time! it just feels so welcoming, but yet clean and modern at the same time! WOW! this place just feels like home

Ross Carlson

Excellent roast. Nicely light and fruity

michael corbridge

Google sez I visited, and Google never lies. Did the coffee put me in a trance?

Ben Brown

Good coffee! Currently NOT a place for a keto or bulletproof coffee. Such simple ingredients to have on hand. Hopefully they expand their knowledge base. Their restrooms should also be unisex. Frustrating when places can't figure out that simple detail. You wait in line to use the restroom to find out that it is a one person use. Literally identical to the one that has been available the entire time you have been waiting. Not so uniquely equipped with a locking mechanism on the door structure.

Blaine Rollins

Always a great cup in a good environment. Best GF scones in town.

Lea Hadzick

We go to Corvus almost every weekend. They make their own cashew almond milk that you have to try (NM means nut milk)!!! We also purchase their coffee by the bag and brew it at home. It’s delicious every time. ALSO Kelsey, Annie, Lauren, Brian, Ryan, Doug, Kira and Jules are the best!!!! Best baristas Ive ever met!

Keira Gould

Great espresso! Service easy, friendly and quick even with a line!

Justin Haaga

Excellent cappacino, properly made

Harrison Nobles

Very smooth nitro cold brew. The shop is very clean and modern

Trinity Amiah

Amazing staff and environment. Was my first time in there the other day and Natalie was so patient with me to help me figure out what I actually wanted.

Kat Gor

Aaammmmmaaazing coffee! Bring back the whiskey Finn please :)

Nathan Gallion

Megan is an excellent barista who has a passion for serving others and the espresso experience improved my whole mindset.

Maryann Swale

One of my favorite coffee shops. Good quality coffee and unique seasonal combinations. Hopefully they bring back the blackberry Kyoto. ;)

Jerry Perlick

It's a little expensive place they have one size cup but I would go back again

Aaron Spiegle

Helpful and friendly baristas and delicious steampunk brewed bean.

andrew saetern

Very cool spot and atmosphere, but just a bit too busy for me. It was a Thursday morning, but the place was packed. Looks like a popular location for business meetings. Most of the people around me were either seated for a meeting, or dressed up in professional/business attire. People were coming and going, so there was always seating available. Great Cold Brew and Scones. The Cold Brew was served in a fancy glass. Wasn't the largest glass, so I wonder how much coffee I actually got. A decent selection of pastries too. Love set up behind the counter. It was fun watching them make coffee and other drinks behind that counter. It's well lit, and the modern wood tables + benches are a great addition too. I'd love to come back to Corvus. You'd find me with my laptop and hanging out here for hours.

Josie Garry

Great coffee, great baristas. My only complaint is there are no outlets to plug into. If you want to go there to work, bring a fully charged battery.

ron koscelnik

The staff here is what makes this place great. That and the fact you can get Kombucha. Their cold brew coffee is some of the best in the Denver metro area.

Karen Engle

The staff is always very nice and the service is usually pretty quick. The drinks are yummy as well. They don't overly sweeten the drinks here either, which is nice because then you can actually tell you're drinking coffee and not just sugary milk.

First Name Last Name

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I didn't know what I wanted because I never been to this coffee shop before so I asked the young girl behind the counter what kind of cold beverages were available. She was able to help me find something I liked and I was able to get a tasty flaky buttery eggy cheesy delicious thing. And the coffee was really nice.

Kelly Rapp

Great lattes but no suger-free flavors are offered here.

Chris Gosnell

Best. Cold brew coffee. Ever.

Jaime Gomez

Coffee please!! This place takes care of your sweet tooth and caffeine needs!

Jason Dwyer

Cool place with good coffee but a little small and only street parking.

Matthew

Delicious coffee friendly folks.

Celery MonteCelery

Ok chai, and I've had better croissants, but the coffee was good and the general air of the place is cool. Not as loud as I expected.

Paul Keen

This is a good spot! They focus more on specialty drinks which is usually not my thing, but they do a good job of those! Staff is friendly. Worth a visit.

Sarah Kleinman

Exceptional and creative coffee offerings. Kombucha on tap, too!!!!

Small World Inc

Delicious coffee, a little small and in a busy location.

Elie Ranger

Good coffee, but there was no seating when I went.

A Brooks

Seating needs more seating and parking for that matter

Ethan Wade

A super cute little coffee shop! The staff are great, the service is quick, and there's convenient parking if you're in a rush.

Robert A. Krecak

Friendly staff doesn't make up for the incredibly loud environment, only two choices of milk for drinks, one size of espresso drinks, and wi-fi that doesn't work properly. Disappointed by this place. My latte was also one of the worst I've ever tasted.

Alexis Stamatis

Shop was small and I had to wait for a seat but best cup of coffee I've ever had.

Kevin Kavanagh

Great coffee, but expensive, and the wi-fi on both of my experiences has been HORRIBLE to the point where I need to use my phone’s LTE to access websites in order to work on my laptop.

Justin Hagen

Cool shop but bitter cappuccino due to poor frothing technique. We ordered both a blend and single origin cappuccino. I still presume their roasted coffee is excellent.

Neo Smith

So I google map coffee shops in my area and this one pops up and gets great reviews so I cruise on over and order a "large" Americano. I kinda fade off waiting for my drink and they hand me this puny arse cup safe to say in the eyes of the majority they would consider it a small (see attachment). Their large is indeed a small (cup is less than 5 inches high), unless they don't offer a large and they just didn't tell me when I ordered. If that is the case, it is in the best interest of the cashier to let their customer(s) know that they do not offer a large, but just one size. The taste is decent, but not 4 bucks decent. That's right, you charged me 4 bucks plus tax for this puny arse drink. This will be the first and last time I stop here.

Brian Krell

First visit. One good coffee!

Kairav Parekh

Coffee done elegantly. Grabbed a few cups before setting out on a hike. Almost spent a lot of money on buying their gourmet bags. Had to control myself. Just go if you're a coffee lover, you won't be upset. The Costa Rican Sonoran honey coffee was delish.

David Seagraves

Wow! There isn’t much more to say! Corvus is what every coffee shop should strive to be.

vadjik r

I spend a good deal of time here working. Pro: great coffee drinks and deserts. Awesome staff. Cool atmosphere. Cons: not a single outlet in the place. They stop brewing after 12pm. So no drip after that only made to order drinks.

Kevin Brown

Great coffee; Bad place to focus/work If you want a great coffee, and friendly baristas, this is a good bet. But if you want more from your coffee shop, like a place to relax and get work done while charging your phone or laptop, look elsewhere. The space is very small, loud and devoid of electrical outlets (not even along the wall seating), and the slowest WiFi I've experienced since dial-up days (<1mbps). They clearly do NOT want you to stay long.

Dwayne Barstad

Coffee is OK if overpriced. Seating arrangements and noise level in the shop is not good.

Jonathan Meyer

A little crowded when we visited, but loved the atmosphere. Wouldn't mind taking a trip back to check out some of their single origin selection. Grabbed a cold brew which was delicious.

Roberto Lopesino

Great coffee but the space can get a little loud.

Andrew Sidel

Chic coffee shop with higher prices (due to location and quality). Great tastes located in a modern, yet rustic, interior.

Tyler S.

Classy atmosphere, very nice high-quality coffee drinks.

Craig Conrad

Friendly staff, and great coffee

Josh Coryell

I enjoyed my visit quite a bit. I started off with their Steampunk filter coffee, and it was interesting to watch it being brewed. This location does not do pour overs, which was a bit of a drag, but I did love their seasonal Auburn Latte. There was plenty of seating and the crew working was nice and quick.

David Milofsky

High energy millennial scene. Coffees expensive but good ditto baked goods. No small tables just a couple of long ones with people doing deals, getting to know each other. I found it entertaining.

April Holtan

Nice environment—several families there at 4pm on a Monday, which is nice to see. Had the hopped cold brew; good, very bitter. Also a cortado—espresso was very fruity, their roasts seem to lean more toward acidic rather than caramelly.

Omar Almarshad

Good coffees, incredibly loud environment. Interior designer didn't pay attention to how noisy this place can be. There is need to be a sound absorbent of some type in this place.

Jonathan Wagner

Excellent pastries and drinks! Friendly staff makes it a great place to visit

William Arbaugh

By far the best cup of coffee in Denver for those who are a tad bit snobbish about their brew. Walking in it had the right smell in the atmosphere. Against the wall opposite the door were the words "If something is worth doing it's worth doing well" and I knew I was in good hands. One look at their menu confirmed this. They only carry two flavors of syrup (vanilla and caramel) for your latte. Their focus is on the beans themselves offering no less than 5 daily coffees that you can get in normal brew fashion or "Steampunk" which I'll have to try another time. The proof was in, as it always is to me, ordering the most basic thing. If a coffee shop gets that right then they'll get everything right. One plain latte later I was in love. It didn't require any additives taste excellent. There was no bitterness, and even a hint of sweetness. While there is almond milk they insist on only using whole milk for their drinks, so bear that in mind. All in all, the best place I have yet found.

Beverly Matthews

Stopped by on my way to work. Great vibes! Baristas know what they are doing. I got a rosemary thyme latte, which was great. The pastries were also pretty good. I'll definitely come back to hang out with friends here.

Brett Stapleton

Great little coffee place. Good coffee and friendly staff

Carlie Snyder

Ridiculously overpriced, drinks aren't better than Starbucks or any other coffee shop. Not impressed.

Carol Ortega

Beat coffe I've ever consumed! Love the staff

Arash Ghaemi

The Chamomile tea is impressive but how do you make a coffee shop without outlets? This place has one outlet for your computer. That is the biggest mistake in user experience for a coffee shop I've ever seen. With that being said, the staff is very nice, attentive and friendly. I'd give them 5 stars individually if I could.

Aditi Shrikumar

We've been going to corvus regularly for years. Lovely single origin coffee (and an unusual, always interesting assortment of mixed and sweetened coffee drinks). Nice atmosphere too.

JB

First off amazing coffee, like exceptional. The coffee I received gets a 4.8 out of 5. My only complaint is how expensive this place is. $5 for an 8oz coffee? That's insane. That's more than Starbucks. But I guess you get what you pay for.

MicheleElys MER

The acoustic need improving, very loud. Friendly staff, clean, counter seating and long tables was not ideal for a meeting. Maybe a good place to rush in and grab a coffee or danish - we left for Le French.

prasanna kodpadi

Good ambience and good latte.

Michael Fletcher

Coffee selections are a bit different but surprisingly good.

Jonathan Jung

This place is definitely popular. Very busy and good coffee.

James Martin

Great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Great for a quick cup with a friend or settling in for a bit of work. The staff was friendly and made a great mocha!

Grace Schmidt

LOVED this place. Super amazing coffee, great friendly service, good atmosphere... in super impressed with this company. It reminds me of home (New Zealand) and is just a fantastic, all around great place. Well done, guys and gals of Corvus Coffee Roasters!

D Ann Wasilewski

Cozy little spot and service is great!

Odalis Castro

Absolutely my favorite place to study on weekends, everyone is extremely friendly and talkative. Love the Countryback drink, definitely one of the best in coffee shops in Denver!!

Erinjordan Ortega

Adorable and delicious drinks! Great atmosphere

Travis Myers

It's the best coffee in the area hands down. Service is prompt and they have oat milk which is kind of a deal breaker right now.

Levi Martin

Excellent spot to support the true coffee spirit! Love grabbing a Back Country coffee and bag of beans recently roasted that support the farmers; all not forget that the staff is friendly & passionate about the process!

Raymi Choate

Coffee was amazing! Loved the shop and atmosphere!

Keenan Gingrich

Never had bad experience here. The only trouble is how bad everywhere else tastes in comparison. Staff is always extremely nice. I love that their drink specialties change with the weather and I Can guarantee that you're not gonna find it at another Coffee shop.

David Josephson

Corvus roast all coffee in house and I look forward to going there, however I feel their pricing is to high.

Jenn Schuppe Botham, ND

Nitro Cold brew was esquisite. Seating at long tables provided little space for conversation or a cozy vibe, which is not so ideal.

T P S

Amazing cold brew. The kyoto cola high ball was refreshing and perfect, even on a cold day. And it wasn't too strong on the cola flavor, really well balanced.

sarah m

This place is great! They make their own almond milk and have speciality/seasonal lattes. The baristas are super friendly too! Free parking and wifi as well.

Kate West

Just a little loud in here to work but fun place with good coffee

D Nyagolova

Amazing coffee and super friendly people

Walton Yeung

Coffee is fantastic: the selection of brews is definitely a step above the competition with rarer choices like Kyoto-style Cold Brew, Nitro Hopped Cold Brew and even Kombucha on draught. Even on a Sunday morning they have non-stop through traffic. Super friendly staff! I stayed to work through a book, and Nick was kind enough to bring me a glass of water after I've been there a while. The industrial interior is clean and tidy, makes great use of space with plenty of table and counter seating. Great for a meeting or getting work done.

Axel Trevino

i love snacking here. there was quick, helpful, and friendly service. this place has a cool feel to it.

Austin Self

Best Baristas in Denver! Great selection.

*

honestly this is just too amazing for words

marzena hawryla

Pricey and wasn't a big fan

Cyrus Murphy

Good clean atmosphere. They do coffee right. They also do some kind of cold brew highball concoctions
