Can’t wait to go back! We had fantastic service and fresh hot food! We also had the pleasure of sitting on the back porch along side the rushing water. There were 3 deer that casually walked along the far bank, checking us out as we ate our breakfast. The quality of the food was spot for the price and we were greeted with nothing but smiles from the time we came to the time we left. Can’t wait to go back here next time I pass through town!

I absolutely love Cedaredge Creekside Cafe. Just had the best lobster and tenderloin for Valentine's Day we are so lucky to have such a consistent and wonderful restaurant in our little town. Wait staff is the sweet as they can be and the owner has made amazing changes to the place :-)

Great breakfasts here, we went there 4 days in a row. Every day we were in town. Beautiful motorcycle riding and car cruising is close by just about any direction you choose. Head north to the San Juan mountains for starters, then visit Black Canyon to the south.

I was actually really disappointed... I'd heard a lot of good things about this place, but the food my husband and I got was disappointing. The French Dip was chewy and still had fat on the meat, and the bun was burned. The onion rings were burned and dripping oil. The burger was okay but was really greasy. Not sure we'll try this place again...

If I remeber correctly there is outside seating right on the creek, bonus! Every time we go through Cedar Edge on the way to the Mesa this is a stop.

I have been eating here since it’s change in ownership and the new name. I’ve never had a problem with the food, always good eats. On the other hand the wait staff has always been inexperienced and slow. You order a burger and fries, and you have to ask for condiments. You have to ask for silverware after your meal arrives. Anywhere that’s credible, will set out condiments and silverware before they ever take your order, here they come up and ask what you want to order, and ya don’t see um again till it arrives, bare table, guess your supposed to use your hands, wouldn’t have a problem with that if they brought some napkins or somethin. Tonight was the last straw for me, ordered take out, 3 meals and appetizer one meal came with side salad. Of course I guess I shoulda checked the bag to ensure the wait staff is doing there job, paid up gave a tip and get home, no appetizer or side salad UGG!!!!!! Once again fail, and yep I’m pretty POed right now, I’m not one to bash, but enough is enough for me. My cash will go elsewhere in town from now on. It’s to bad to its a nice spot.

This Cafe is what you expect from a small town where everyone recommends it. The hamburgers were very satisfying. I had the avocado bacon cheddar burger that had a large patty, crisp bacon and sharp cheese. the curly fries are quite good too. If you're going to go try the hamburger!

We come for the breakfast buffet on Sunday's. Great food and the employees are very attentive to your needs. They also do drinks, beer and wine. Come and enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace. Plenty of parking and the place is well lit. There is room for just one person or a hole group of people. They also have high chairs for the children. Co.e and see for your self.

Went in for breakfast on a Sunday because of a recommendation from a local and had a terrible experience. Two people at our table ordered the buffet and my sister and I ordered the Churro Waffle. After more than half an hour of waiting for our waffles, we finally asked where the food was. Tables that had come in after us had already received their food. The waitress said it would just be a few more minutes and did NOT apologize for the wait. We then saw her speaking with the kitchen and it was pretty obvious that our order had been forgotten. When our waffles finally arrived the waitress still did not apologize or say anything about the wait and the "churro" waffles were just regular waffles with some cinnamon sugar butter on them. Very underwhelming. The waitress also never refilled our waters or offered to get us another orange juice. Also the buffet was worse than most complimentary hotel breakfasts. The eggs were extremely overdone (after we had to request that they be refilled) and the gravy for the biscuits was obviously from a packet. To say the least we will NOT be returning and I don't recommend that anyone else goes there.

Great value, ambiance, and service! Chef Biardi (sp?) was the chef the night we were there and everything was delicious (and big portions). We also sat outside, great view and the service didn't suffer (like it sometimes does at other restaurants). Definitely would come back! Attached it the view from our table :)

We usually only go here for breakfast but we decided for dinner today. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered chicken strip basket. Food was so overcooked you could not chew the coating. Curly fries same thing. When my wife was about 2/3 through her burger the waitress said they look overcooked can we cook you more . Told her very nicely no thanks once is plenty for me paid for both meals never to return.

We were staying at Powderhorn Resort up on the Mesa and stopped here for a late breakfast/early lunch on our way out to do some sightseeing for the day. Food was very good. Atmosphere was casual and service excellent. I failed to pick up my credit card after paying the bill, but they had it waiting for me the next morning when I stopped back. (Didn't miss it until late that evening after they had closed.) They told me they chased out after me when they found it, but we were already gone.

Absolutely delicious Italian night! I had the seafood eggplant parmigiana and my husband had the baked ziti. Both were super tasty with big portions. The garlic bread was awesome. Staff is always super friendly. Creekside never disappoints. Their fish n' chips is my usual favorite. The home made deserts are ridiculous too!

Took 30 minutes to get a waffle, that had obviously been forgotten since it came out about 2 minutes after I went and found our waitress to ask her if our food would be out soon. She didnt acknowledge how long it took or appologize. The people I was with got the buffet and it was about as good as the free breakfast at a cheap hotel. Not impressed at all and will not be going back.

There is no way on God’s green earth that this cafe has a realistic 4.5 star rating!! It’s literally laughable, my spouse and I just finished laughing at the preposterous rating. This cafe MUST have all their friends and family members create faux comments for this site. The food was so awful and the service was terrible. I took 2 bites of my meal and then I asked nicely for the waitress to please take my plate because I was unable to eat the meal, she then rolled her eyes. When the bill was brought it included the meal I HAD RETURNED!! My other 2 family members did not enjoy their meals either, the best part was the pre-meal salads. I’d rather suck my sock after working in the hot sun all day, true story.

Excellent out-of-the-way cafe that Cedaredge is lucky to have. Good salads and sandwiches, particularly the Reuben. Ask your server about the menu items, she will give you the straight skinny. Features a deck for outdoor dining, but be aware, there's a farm nearby, as you WILL discover if the wind blows your way.

Service was good, food was good, but someone let a bunch of flies into the restaurant. Terrible, I couldn't even eat my food, and other customers were complaining about it too. Its fly infested. Someone probably let the kitchen door open.

Would give five stars for the first two times I visited a year ago, but this most recent time.... We sat for an hour after ordering before our food arrived for a party of four. There were flies everywhere and a pair of them landed in my food while mating (no joke). The cup that I received my drink in had leftovers from it's previous user along the sides of the cup and covering the lip. I asked for a new cup, which the waitress was kind and understanding about, but the new cup I received was just as bad (if it wasn't just the same cup with the more visible remains wiped off and then returned). The food was good once it arrived, and I was able to pick around what the flies had tossled on, but the whole experience felt dirty. Now, a couple of concessions to them (and why I'm giving three stars and not fewer): It was a holiday weekend and quite busy for this location; The state as a whole has gone through a record high year for moisture accumulation which has resulted in a crazy numbers of bugs that is highly unusual for the region; The past experiences were both superb. So I'm hoping today's visit was an abnormality and not the new norm. The staff were friendly, the food good, and it was reasonably priced. I intend to be back and will update this post if today's encounter was just a fluke.

I absolutely love this place. They use extremely fresh and high quality ingredients to make truly great food. The tomatoes taste like tomatoes and the cucumbers taste like cucumbers, that's rare these days! The fried mushrooms were actual fresh mushrooms, hand dipped, and fried to perfection. The cheeseburger is supposed to be one of the best on the western slope and I agree. Their pie selection looks like the purple ribbon section at the county fair. Comfort food indeed! If you're anywhere near this gem of an old school eatery, just go. Go hungry.

While visiting from IN we were told that a chef cooked on Friday night so that's when we went. The spaghetti, salad dressing and toast we're all the best I've had. I just returned from Italy and it was So good as any I had there. They served wine and beer as well. The atmosphere is very casual and prices as good. This was a real find.
