This is a really cute coffee shop with excellent coffee and a nice ambiance. It feels cozy, but it's actually a pretty big space with plenty of seating. The baristas are very friendly and my group enjoyed a riveting chess game while sipping our lattes. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent coffee, nice ambiance. Purchased an omelet to go as well. Didn't have time to linger but happy with this find. Prices are like California. A bit of a morning crowd but quick service unlike some places I know at home. Coffee art a plus. Now that I've eaten the omelet, downgraded a point. Too much salt, a bit overcooked and the avocado on top was not ripe yet it was brown streaked... I still ate everything but the omelet really needs to improve!

Good shop. Laid back atmosphere even with it being busy. Plenty of seating. We had the home brewed chai and a lavender latte to drink. The lavender was good and subtle. The espresso was robust and very good. The baristas even made pretty leaf designs in the foam (I know that's supposed to be easy, but hey- I can't do it). We got the pumpkin spice bread and a gluten free egg sandwich which came with avocado. The pumpkin bread was good. The sandwich was a bit bland but the shop offers a variety of spices and condiments that licenced it up a bit (I'd rather it be bland but customizable than overly spiced and inedible). It was our first time here and we would probably come back if we were in the area again.

Really good food & coffee also good but could've been better if the barista didnt have such an attitude to where it made me not want to keep talking her. Honestly, so socially awkward. I was traveling on business across Colorado and stopped here because it looked very cute. . .When I go into a coffee shop or anywhere I want to feel like I'm welcomed, instead the barista had major attitude and took my order as if I was being a burden. She wasn't very friendly or responsive to my questions and talked and laughed with her coworkers as she took my order. It's like this lady only wants locals to come in here. Overall good product, bad service.. the customer service and just simply genuine friendlyness is dying everywhere. :/

Get the bonfire sandwich every time. It's drop dead. They have great service, a menu with lots of variety, serve breakfast and lunch. If you like the coffee... Good news! You can purchase it by the bag. All kinds of different blends. The atmosphere is warm, rustic and inviting with a lot of space but cozy feel. Awesome place to spend a morning or after noon.

Best craft coffee in CO! My favorite is the Garage Blend. Their cafe in downtown Carbondale on Main Street is just great - perfect for meetings and the wifi works well. I've tried their panini sandwiches for lunch - delish!

Very, very bitter coffee with not so pleasant after-taste. Expressed this to woman at River Bend Coffee in Glenwood Springs when I went in for a latte, she was offended, like it was my taste buds fault or I should have kept it to myself. (GO TO "The Beat" near Subway. Wonderful married couple who appreciate your business...) I asked woman if she was the same company as The Bonfire Coffee in Carbondale, and she said she OWNED both stores. I said, you cut me off, and I'm the customer. I tried suggesting they they add another blend when the woman cut me off again. She repeated her feelings again, and I said if that's the way she feels, I won't come in anymore. She stated "GOOD." I stood there not believing this was so easy for her to do, but considering the amount of transient traffic of this location I shouldn't be surprised. I've been going into the Bonfire Coffee in Carbondale where I live to eat and have other drinks because of the bitter coffee, but after meeting this horrible and vain woman, and seeing her contempt for me, I WILL NEVER GIVE HER ANOTHER penny of my business. I will miss some of the people who work there. Probably her family, but people are often not as they seen, like this woman.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops that I frequent on my business travels. Cool, friendly, great coffee and food. Great tasting coffee! They also have breakfast and lunch food, specially drinks, and baked goods. I only got the drip coffee, but it was very good. You can also get pour over coffee if you prefer. There's space to sit inside and there's a nice atmosphere. The staff was also very friendly.
