Here you will see the opinions of real people like you who used the services and products of The Coffee Gallery (Coffee Shop) near to the state of California.
At the moment this business gets a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 295 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is almost the highest, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the evaluation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are happy with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
Fab location, I can usually find a table even during bust times and you never have to wait too long to get served. To be honest, I am not a great fan of coffee!!! I love going in for the shakes and great breakfasts they do. The bagels are so good when you feel like a treat. I often take my kids of a weekend as it has a lovely atmosphere.
They would have received 5 stars but they didn't fully get my order correct but the food was good and the coffee even better.
Great service. Great people
Such a nice place! Me and my son had a few hours to kill before an appointment and thought we could just chill here as it looked so cosy! It was just perfect! I had an awesome coffee that perked me up for the day and my son had a hot chocolate and a muffin—both of which he loved. I think he will want us to come back here again and I’m sure my wife will like it too. A great space and maybe the best coffee shop Pasadena has to offer. Highly recommended my friends.
A real find just around the corner from my friends house. Great iced coffees and nice chilled atmosphere. Really friendly staff who welcomed me and talked me through the menu to make sure that I found something suitable for my allergies. The coffee is really great here, like really great.
Love this local coffee house, quick breakfast and coffee every weekend!
Great atmosphere, even better food and treats. We love coming here (when we can find a table) and reading/writing, and we really enjoy seeing all the community being lived out in this place: meetings, art classes, casual chats, studying, etc. The staff seem to be hit and miss - sometimes we have happy, helpful service and sometimes we are met with less-than-welcoming attitudes. But if you can get past that and into a seat, it's a great place to hang!
Has the slapdash feel of a small local business (because it is one?) and knows how to hang on to that charm. Look for music and storytelling performances in the 50-seat performance venue "backstage."
I was recently looking for the best espresso bar near me staying in the Altadena areas and I was pleasantly surprised by The Coffee Gallery. It is honestly one of the best coffee shops in LA and I have visited a LOT of coffee shops around the world! I love the vibe that the shop has. Try it if you are in the area.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Altadena. The service is so good. I love that no matter how busy the shop is the staff have time to say hello and they are so customer focused. Coffee is strong
Filthy place, the manager should be fired immediately because it will never attract enough high quality consumers. It's sad because much of the surrounding area is very wealthy and they could capitalize if things were done right. What's even more sad is they don't really have any competition nearby and they still can't get it done. The self serve coffee is frequently cold but pretty good quality if it's warm. Most of the other drinks available are fantastic. Food is above average. They have some wonderful employees who keep consumers happy and without them the place would not make any money. The events bring a strange subset of the community together but the place can be jovial at times. The chairs are comfortable but very dirty. They need to invest about $5,000 to make the place cleaner. The bathroom is one of a developing country. Completely unacceptable and dangerous. If there isn't a change, the place will be closed within 2 years.
Coffee Gallery is a great little hang-out. I visit regularly and can tell you that the people really make the place - they're super friendly and their customer service skills are wonderful. The food is great, I'm a fan of the hashbrown casserole, their breakfast paninis and their breakfast burrito - all are SO good! Try the matcha latte it is terrific!
Cozy, cute place with a really good dirty chai latte
This backstage music venue is so cool! The painting on the walls are great.
This is a favorite local coffee hangout with a very special, intimate little performance stage in the back. I've seen many lovely concerts here over the years. Come here for quirky local ambience and good coffee and milkshakes.
Nice quiet place for relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Coffee was too hot. Barista was too slow, waited in line forever even though the line was short
Good coffee, great desserts.
Great coffee, music and egg pie!
My favorite cafe. The staff are very friendly and not stuck up at all. They're willing to make pretty much anything you can think of and the food during breakfast and lunch are quite good. The atmosphere and decor must also be mentioned, as it lends to the welcoming and comfortable feeling that I don't find anywhere else.
Nice laid back coffee shop. It just changed ownership a few months ago and looks like a totally new place. I still love to come here and sip my tea or coffee, sometimes have a pastry and read for a bit.
Wonderful quirky little place in beautiful bohemian Altadena! A menu of interesting coffee drinks. But in the summer I usually get a fruit smoothie. ;)
This is a hidden gem in Altadena. I always visit when I am in the area. The manager and barista will make you feel at ease. The menu sounds and looks great and I am slowly working my way through it. There is nothing that I have eaten that didn’t taste great. You can really see that this business buy the bets ingredients possible. The coffee is by a company called Counter Culture and is really rich and full of flavor. Definitely a 5 stars
Nice venue with friendly staff! Intimate setting for shows! Snacks yummy!
Coffee Gallery Backstage offers quality wholesome entertainment across a wide spectrum of folk, western, rock, and comedy. The venue is small in size, but decorated in a cozy manner with seats and cocktail tables around the stage. Only 45-50 seats. Shows are very reasonable prices. The coffee house has a variety of coffee and teas as well as a good array of choices in ice cream and milkshakes. You are advised to get your dinner before the show unless you want just soup or Chili (I had the Turkey Chili and it was outstanding). Check out their website for concerts coming...you will be sure to find something fun!
Great beverages and breakfast items. A comfortable spot to meet up.
Always exciting and fun evening. This night was really special... A EATER MAIN on the street just in front of the COFFEE GALLERY BROKE and the BACKSTAGE EAS FLOODED and we were EVACUATED!!! You can't make this stuff up!
Warm place with a great crowd, music, and fantastic service. Time stands still here. You'd love it!
Went to a show in the backstage. Was cozy, and could only hold maybe 50-75 people.
Amazing food, great atmosphere. Complete turn around from how it used to be. One of my most frequented coffee shops.
Excellent atmosphere. Good coffee. Great pastries. Live music. Clean and friendly staff. Wonderful location.
Homey mom and pop feel. Board games, water color classes, live music
It was a bit stuffy, warm and the cusotmer service was less than helpful. They did have some great music though!
Recently went through a change of ownership, which brought about a change of environment. Prices went up, as did the quality of the food, but the atmosphere changed for the worse. What was an eclectic yet cozy spot for coffee and treats is now another run of the mill, modern cafe.
Always the perfect venue to see performing acts.
Try their waffle. I think you will like it.
I've seen great bands perform here, Incendio was one of em.
Just went here for the first time this past Sunday. Both coffee and food were excellent, staff were friendly, happy, and attentive, and the vibe was relaxed and welcoming. This is now my go-to coffee place!
What a SUPER venue for a super tribute band
I loved this place. Met a coworker to discuss some work and the place was a hidden gem in altadena. Only thing is parking is a challenge due to not parking lot or structure but street parking. Great coffee and tea with excellent complimentary baked goods. I will be back sooner than later
Pretentious staff
Great vibe and friendly people!
Saw a show here, great act in a cute intimate venue
Love this place... Been around for years and always a great cup of coffee and a warm smile.
I went to the CG Backstage for the first time today to see the Licata Brothers, advertised as "our very own young talent, ready to share more original content." What I didn't know was that I was about to walk into what appeared to be a bi-monthly Baha'i meeting whose musical entertainment was provided by some untalented teenagers (the Licata brothers) accompanied by their older relatives, also lacking in talent. Everyone attending the show seemed to know each other and some were very quick to engage into a recruiting-style religious conversation. This is a waste of time and money if you are not interested in joining a new cult-like group. The Coffee Gallery should at least provide some disclaimer in their advertising so that people know they would be attending a religious event instead of a real musical performance.
A nice comfortable atmosphere for afternoon coffee
Very cozy, local coffee shop with an eclectic menu and suprisinly good food! The breakfast, which is the only time I frequent, food is really really good. My favorites are the burritos without cheese and the huckleberry donut. Superb! The interior is spacious with a variety size of tables and even a conference room. Lots of natural light in the front area.
Came here on a weekday morning and stayed until the afternoon because I loved the atmosphere so much. This place has everything I look for in a coffee shop - strong wifi, an abundance of outlets, good food, and comfy seats. I loved that everything is a lil mismatched. I ordered an iced Americano, it was a little weak for my taste, but they had unique latte flavors that I'm interested to try. My friend got a cappuccino that was really good. I saw a lot of other reviews complaining about service, and I kind of agree. When I got there it was empty and the man who greeted me didn't get me a lick of information on where to order, didn't direct me towards a menu, etc. Kind of had to discover it all myself and I didn't feel very welcome. But whatever, I'm there to work and drink coffee. This place is super far from me but I'll definitely be back. As someone who works remotely, you can't beat a cafe like this as a place to get work done.
Groovey place. Intimate venue for seeing lesser known artists deserving of attention! Good value for good vibes.
Really nice locals spot. Be aware it can get pretty busy! Not always space to sit in, but that's cos it's good! Plain Jane Breakfast burrito is great. Great option for Vegetarians and Vegans as well as meat eaters. They did get our oatmeal order wrong, but it was really good so we didn't care too much. I would definitely come back.
This place is one of the very best coffee shops to come and hang out. It has a lot of character and ample space. Good for hanging out or hosting meetups.
Food and coffee are decent. This is pretty far from the major attractions and roads. It's a friendly place where hipsters come to work on their laptops. Once you order here and settle down to work, the staff is great about giving you refills and leaving you to your task. Music's good. Parking's abundant.
Lovely cup of flat white, nice staff and the place is decorated to a high standard and clean. This gives the place a warm cosy feel to it.There is a nice selection of food and cakes. I just got a cookie with my coffee but I will be back before I leave the area to try the breakfast burritos which sound fabulous.Well worth a visit if you live near Altadena or are visiting the area.
The Wi-Fi is super fast, great selections on coffees, teas, and other little meals, great place to work from
Your run-of-the-mill coffee shops. They offer tasty coffee, from what I recall, and the environment inside is very nice too.
Healthy choice.
Love this coffee shop; one of my favorites in the Pasadena area! All of the coffee that I have tried has been good, especially the oat milk latte. The food is great too—it can be hard to find great veggie breakfasts and the Coffee Gallery breakfast panini is one of the best in LA. One of the best things about this place is the staff , they are ALWAYS incredibly friendly and welcoming. See you again soon!
I don’t know a better place to enjoy your omelette while studying.
Great neighborhood hangout with great coffee, friendly staff with great smiles. Perfect place for your early morning Joe. Definitely
Great place to get work done. Good coffee, great shows. Nice sandwiches.
The Coffee Gallery Backstage is a comfortable little venue for up close & personal performers, like, in this visit, Marty Axelrod, a brilliant songwriter with lyrics you really need to hear and understand, for which you will be hugely rewarded. The stage is narrow and wide, the room relatively shallow, so almost any seat is a front row seat, in a sense. Before and during intermission you can visit the excellent coffee house, where they really do care about what they sell. With one person at the register, the line can move slowly, so allow time. They recommend arriving early and that's a good idea, as street parking is available, but fills quickly. It's a good experience and I will return.
I wish their was a few more larger tables... Other than that this place is gold.
If you are looking for the best coffee in Pasadena then you need to head to The Coffee Gallery. I may be biased as it is my local coffee shop but I have chatted to people from all over the area who come to taste the fresh brews on offer here. There is a good mix of food for breakfast and lunch and the cakes are to die for.
A quirky, lovely little cafe. It has a very local vibe -- it's tucked way up on Lake Avenue in the foothills, and my sense is that most of its patrons are regulars. There is a little private room in the back with a table that I've used for meetings before, and then there's a whole concert venue in the back too! They also do open mics some evenings. It's very much a 'coffee house' in every sense :)
Nice atmosphere, good drinks, ample parking. Overall great place to study
Cozy friendly atmosphere, serving quality and tasty food and drinks.
Great listening room!
I like this place a lot the kitchen closes early though so get your meal order in before 2pm.
Very slow service !!!
The service is spotty, but food and coffee were delicious
I just love the lunch menu at The Coffee Gallery. As someone who is not willing to let go of the avocado trend, I cannot get enough of their farro avocado salad. The blue cheese and cranberry combo along with my favorite avo is my first option when I am in the area. The coffee is also pretty neat too.
Very good customer service, but the coffee supplies need to be changed.
Coffee Gallery has recently renovated & increased their food offerings. But thank Heaven they kept the funky furniture. Good coffee but often impossible to find a seat because of the many people who live there with their computers. They should be charged rent.
I miss clicked the 4 star and they are so on our opinions (in a GREAT way) they reached out. The totally deserved the 5 star, chill staff and helpful in drink decisions when you are feeling adventurous.
While the ambiance might be ok, I got the feeling I was IN THE WAY as a customer. $5.52 for an 8 oz. red eye? Unincorporated Coffee is friendlier, cheaper and a better quality experience.
Great entertainment! There is a wide variety if performers that play here. Bob Stane has been booking the best acts for many years.
Great place for music
Super slow service... like waiting for paint to dry. Also employees are kinda rude and dopy, they look like they are past convicts.
Great little coffee shop with food options. Good atmosphere for meeting with friends or just studying.
Great food and coffee! Their Cold brew is a must!
incredibly long wait time. like 15+ minutes for 1 americano and 1 latte. at 1:30pm in the afternoon on a Wednesday...
Great breakfast foods.
Great employees and food but very pricey.
Has a great small town feel. Not pretentious and over priced like so many other places in this town. They use counter culture coffee and have a great food menu.
When you have a 9 month old baby and a full-time job, having a great coffeee shop on your commute to work is a god send. Some days I seriously don’t know what I would do without The Coffee Gallery. I don’t even have to ask for my usual order now, I am simply greater with a smile and my flat white with an extra shot is right in my hand. If you are in the Pasadena/Altadena area then you should try out this little gem.
MC Bob Stane rules, so does the music!!! I love the setting, I feel like I'm in the Pirates of the Caribbean (ride).
Love this place! Great vibe, nice people, good coffee, cool music.
Best turkey sandwich in the San Gabriel Valley. Very nice staff
food quality xlnt good music
Coffee Gallery has been remodeled and revamped. It's a great spot for having a latte while getting some work done or for meeting a friend. Their baked items are good and fresh. My favorite is their espresso shake. Sooo good!
The Owner is super friendly great place ! First time coming and will definitely not be my last.
Fun place good coffee, food & music
The parking option is very tricky, the parking patrol is always around and you have only 30 min to park the the side street. Inside it's cozy, recently remodeled with really nice sandwiches and friendly staff.
Amazingly good coffee, incredibly nice employees, and a lovely setting. They occasionally have music performances next door.
Nice spot to have some tea and get some studying or work done. Have ample outlets and comfy seating. Employees are sweet and the place is quite clean.
This place is awesome. Chill atmosphere, free WiFi, music backstage, I got some awesome tea for under $2, they have root beer float and crazy awesome coffee drinks.
A half-star would be more accurate. Lacking basic hospitality sense. Told I had 15 min to eat; then thrown out by boss; then told by boss - insincerity dripping from her - I could stay. Too late, Ms. Boss, I heard you the first time. The food was mediocre, to boot.
If you are looking for a great coffee shop in Altedena then The Coffee Gallery should be on your ‘to visit’ list. The shop looked quote busy the first time I tried but I had heard such good things about their coffee that I joined the line. Boy was I glad, the coffee here is so good and, honestly, the guys get the line done in no time. You want good coffee then you got to wait from time to time. The Belgian waffles are too die for too, and the breakfast panini. Just so nice in here.
We were taken their by friends to celebrate a birthday and see a show. We enjoyed some ice cream and light drinks in a very pleasant atmosphere.
The Coffee Gallery is one of the best breakfast places in Pasadena and I always meet my friends here. There is a great selection of coffees with every type of milk you could wish for. Sometimes we meet a little later and treat ourselves to the awesome donuts! Naughty but nice!
Love the new look! Tipping before service is the new cool way to live on "HOPE"!
This review is for the Coffee Gallery backstage only : great music selection focused on blues, jazz, folk, country, rockabilly... No alcohol served.
This place was great before the remodel. High prices and lost of cool factor sense then has me going elsewhere.
I visited The Coffee Gallery on a recent trip to LA. I had been wondering around the Altadena area and really needed a pick me up after so much walking. The double espresso I ordered did the trick as did the chocolate brownie that followed. A great little spot that was really busy so I guess it must be good.
Best Chai Latte ever! Good place to work too!
It's with pleasure to find myself reviewing one of my favorite coffee shops in Altadena. The food is always spot on and at a very good price to keep me coming back for more . Give yourself a treat and try the Mexicali Burrito for breakfast, not the healthiest of breakfasts but it tastes amazing and we all need a treat from time to time. At busier times you may have to wait a while especially but the staff try their best and are always very attentive. Oh, I didn’t mention how great the coffee is, no matter what you order it is just how it should be.
Great service, tasty grub, good tea (didn't try the coffee)
My Girlfriend and I came and saw Jeremy Cylde do a music show backstage on May 21st 2018 was FANTASTIC had a great time with Jeremy ! Friendly couple owners and nice customers to chat with , THANKS COFFEE GALLERY ! See ya soon ...........................C.T.P.
I was in the area and had never been to this coffee shop so I thought I’d try it out. The cashier wasn’t very friendly, then they made both of the coffees I ordered wrong. Very simple order not made correctly. Will not be rreturning and wouldn’t recommend this place. I could have gone to Starbucks and spent the same amount of money for better quality.
I love this spot so much! They have power at every table practically. They're kind, the food and drinks are delicious, and they have music events in the back!
Long time customer
Really like their coffee and choice of pasteries!
One of our go-to coffee shops in Altadena, the food is really good quality. Obviously the coffee is great but it is the great waffles that we go for! They always taste fresh and fluffy, not microwaved like some coffee shops serve up. If you are looking for a new place to have brunch then I would definitely recommend The Coffee Gallery.
Went there for the first time today. The cofffe is smooth and delightful. The decor and atmosphere is equal to the great coffee, and the cashier has a delightful wit
Wonderful coffee house. Splendid showroom for performances. Will retire often.
The vibe here has changed a bit in the recent years from a bohemian decor to a more modern one but the coffee and staff are still amazing. I highly recommend stopping by for some tea as the selection of looseleaf tea is unrivaled.
Very pleasant barista
I visited this place while on holiday and was very impressed. Great quality smoothies at a great price. There was a large line but I didn’t mind waiting because that must mean this is a good place. My Naturewell Special was packed full of flavor and it didn’t taste too sweet, which some smoothies can. The staff were very friendly and were really helpful with my sister who is always so fussy and want to know exactly what is going in to her food because she has allergies. Go Naturewell!
A wonderful place where you can get to know your community.
Have been here several times, and love there Chia Lattes and Sticky Toffee Bars. They also have Breakfast and Lunch items as well as Fosselman ice cream!!!! They also have the Backstage with great music performers.
Great atmosphere and affordable, good breakfast/lunch food. Also great drinks and dessert selection! :)
always a pleasure but an expensive latte
It's nice here. Free wifi. Brown sugar and honey in my tea.
Very charming establishment. The food was delicious, I ordered a breakfast burrito and topped it off with the cranberry muffin.
Its very hard to find a great local coffee shop, a nice place to study and EXCELLENT FOOD all in one place. From the outside it looks classic east coast but inside it’s mid century modern. The only hard decision is breakfast or lunch. Sometimes I stay long enough to enjoy both :) Sometimes I’m in vegan mood which they have a ton of. See you back after Thanksgiving
Loved it. It was casual, and hip. The staff who waited on me was genuinely friendly. And the drinks (latte, and hot Matcha latte) were GREAT.
This little place gets an A for effort. The inside is nice and cozy. It is a very popular place for the locals. On sunny days, sit in the outside patio and you may experience an impromptu jam session with local musicians.
Good food, mood, and music.
I edited with a trust that they will be making the place the better. Interior was superb and a service needs a little work, but overall a very cozy place to visit and drink a cup of a great coffee.
Great staff and great atmosphere
I love this quaint little coffee shop and the backstage area is awesome. It has an old school beatnik vibe but also a new hipster kind of feel too all at the same time. And Bob Shane is awesome!!!
It's all new and improved in here! Still a lovely place to sit and work or chat while drinking delicious coffee and eating nice sweets. They also have nice sandwiches and breakfasts. Though i do miss the super cheap breakfast burritos.
Absolutely love this coffee shop—one of the best in Pasadena. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff give it a nice vibe. We ate: Mexicali Breakfast Burrito= 10/10 amazing! Bagel Sandwich=9/10—great bacon Oatmeal with blueberries 10/10—my daughter loved it! Me and my husband both had Americano coffees and it was one of the best coffees LA has to offer. So smooth. Prices were very reasonable so we will definitely be back.
I have just the Coffee Gallery on a short trip to Altadena with work. I went for breakfast as this was near where I was staying and it was so good I ended up going back for a bite to eat before I headed home. The coffee is so good and hot! I absolutely hate getting lukewarm coffee. I got the breakfast bagel for breakfast and when I visited the second time I got the soup, both of which tasted really fresh and homemade. Delicious! I will be back again for my next visit!
The plain Jane breakfast burrito is amazing!
This is great coffee that won't leave a burnt aftertaste like some badly prepared coffee does. The espressos are strong, full of flavor, and have got a lovely nutty aftertaste. I drink a lot of coffee and this place is one of the best in Altadena. Staff are very helpful and friendly, taking time to chat when there is no long lines. The food is good too, especially the breakfast burritos.
Good drip coffee and good pastries.
My new favorite coffee shop and chill place to hang out or study! They stay open late-ish (10pm) which suits my schedule, has fair prices, and a good variety of food/drink options. They even serve Fosselman's ice cream and smoothies!
New owners, good location, free refills on tea but not coffee.
I loved this place. A nice community space that was not packed full of hipsters! My family and I enjoyed a lovely late lunch here after an event in Altadena. I chose the Cubano press which was delicious, my husband got the vegan press and my two kids went for waffles, of course! we could not fault any of our food and our drinks were good too. A lovely little spot that we are all looking forward to visiting again. -Jacob
Excellent baristas, fast and friendly service. But the best part is the great variety of musical acts offered. A cozy small room in the back of the coffee house makes for an enjoyable and intimate show, featuring big talent from a variety of musical genres.
It's a great place! Staff is great. Food is good. Great ambience!
Wow, I just loved it here. I know it is only a coffee shop but the food was really good. Ingredients were of high quality and portion sizes were good for the price. My Avocado stack tasted so good and my friend’s Caesar salad looked great. We both went for iced coffees that were really refreshing. I will def be back in Altadena soon just for this place!
When we moved from PCC area and its abundant quality cafes up to Altadena, it looked like one of the predominant option for a good brew in a homey joint was the Coffee Gallery. We stopped in for some lattes and looked around while we waited. The prospect of us adopting the Coffee Gallery as our new spot was not looking good. I know that the Gallery is a mainstay of Altadena, but it seems to have taken its status as granted and has allowed the service and the cleanliness to fall by the wayside. Honestly, it's kind of a dirty place. The couches are old and well-used, the floors were sticky and grime-covered. We found the toy box to occupy our two-year-old, but then quickly put them away after finding trash in the toy bin. We're happy letting her play with the public toys at some of our other spots, but these showed signs of more than just a patina of public use. The coffee was good, but not great. The interior is dim, lit mainly by the street-facing windows. Our server was pretty nonchalant, not in a hurry to greet us or take our order, but not unfriendly. I plan on visiting an open mic session sometime soon, though I'm not eager to go because of the overall lack of upkeep we experienced on our visit. It just seems like they hit a stride and they're doing the minimum required because they're so well established. Reputation might be enough to keep them afloat for a long time, but I doubt I'll contribute to that legacy in the future.
One of my favorite coffee shops in my area. Good coffee, good food, and good vibes.
Great food. Fantastically good coffee. Prices match the quality of the ingredients. Service is always polite and friendly. I have been staying in Altadena while working on a project and this has been by venue of choice for breakfasts and some lunches. I generally get the oatmeal but the bacon sandwiches are a naughty treat. I feel like I have made new friends here, the staff are just so lovely.
Great local coffee place at Altadena. Good coffee and fair prices. Nice place to work or study. Easy parking.
Came for the backstage and was NOT disappointed. Intimate venue with great customer service.
Cute shop. Not the best customer service. Coffe is just ok.
lovely coffee shop in Altadena. I was visiting the area with my church so there was a large group of us. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress who made sure that we could all sit together by moving a few tables around. We were all famished so we ordered lunch as well as coffees. I went for the Caprese Sandwich which was lovely and fresh. I always hate it where there's more bread than filling but this sandwich was oozing with mozzarella that tasted fresh and light. The whole group enjoyed their sandwiches and coffees. I don't drink coffee so I was glad that there was a wide selection of teas to choose from. Will definitely recommend this place to those visiting.
Excellent service, good coffee mom and pop coffee house feel, good vibe. Highly recommend
After doing a bit of shopping in town with my daughter we were in need of a sit down and a coffee, she walked the legs off me! Thankfully there was a table free so we sat down and both ordered a latte and asked what cakes they had, well, there was so many to choose from. Our chosen cake came out and looked delicious! I would recommend that you go and check them out whether it's for a coffee or some food. The lunches looked great but we had already booked a place for later in the day. A little gem in Altadena.
Best coffee shop quality service clean fast friendly very popular locals enjoy this place to gather and now open late wow must go to ........
Good espresso drinks.. food is made to order it takes long but preaty decent. Prices are reasonable ( like any other coffe shop) for food and coffee drinks. They get 4 starts because Regular coffee is not good and pastries are expensive, my husband complained about a small slice of pecan pie that costs almost 7 dollars.
Little pricey, but incredible service and atmosphere
What a lovely chilled-out brunch we had on Saturday. We were having a little family get together and we all really enjoyed it. The menu has something for everyone and think we bought most of the menu between us. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, good portion sizes, and smooth service with a nice friendly touch. The highlight of the brunch was the waffles my kids got, I tried some and they were so light and fluffy. I will definitely be back again to try the waffles out for myself. A good little find in Altadena, which has such a lovely community feel.
Tasty treats, friendly folk and great music!
I’ve always enjoyed frequenting this establishment but am alarmed at the cost increases. $10 for a smoothie boxes me out, sadly. Instead of a frequent visitor, I’ll have to just pop in for special occasions.
