We had a holiday in Cambria recently and found this great little place to have a coffee. We enjoyed sipping our cappuccinos out the front in the morning sunlight and trying to spot the new guys in town. We bought some coffee beans to take home and they were great. We'll be back !

Come here if you want to wait 15 minutes for them to make your coffee. Barista was struggling with making shots of espresso properly and there was no organization. People in line 3 people behind me got coffee before me. Won't be coming back here.

I have had cappuccinos in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and many other cities. In all my delicious experiences, I can safely say the cappuccino at Cambria Coffee Roasters is among the absolute best. The espresso is of a medium roast, the milk is perfectly frothed and heated, and, most critically, the baristas are attentive and take their craft seriously. I’ll be visiting again!

One of my must-stop places when I go to Cambria. The sell an italian roast named Mountain High that is excellent. I always buy several pounds with me to take home. There coffee on premise is also good. It's a relaxing place to visit and read, chat or just sit for awhile.

Wow. I hate how good the coffee is here- mostly because I'm in socal and won't be enjoying it again for a while. We had a latte and a baja mocha. Both were amazing. Likely the single best latte I've ever had- and that includes those enjoyed in Italy. Very nice people working here as well.

Great coffee and a quiche for breakfast. The peanut butter cookie was also great (breakfast of champions). Be warned there are no bathrooms available, but the town does have public bathrooms available just down the street.

I enjoyed my visit to Cambria Coffee Roasting Company. The espresso is pretty good (a nice nutty flavor) and our drinks were prepared okay (cappuccino was overly foamy and latte-milk was a little burnt, but still acceptable). The staff was also nice and we got our drinks quickly. There is no seating inside, but a nice outdoor area and a rooftop patio. The place was filled with regulars, which gave it a nice homey touch. This Google maps listing is filled with very negative reviews for odd reasons or without very constructive criticism (Several mention "coffee snobs beware" without mentioning specific reasons why we should beware). I was pleased with my visit and will be coming back next time I'm in the area.

Wow. I was pleasantly surprised with just how good this place is! Their beans are excellent, fresh, and competitively priced (expensive, but on par with similar quality beans). The baristas paid attention to the little details, even measuring/dosing using a scale. My espresso was one of the best I’ve tasted in ages.

So far my favorites are "Cambria Blend" (a French roast) and "Mountain High" (an Italian roast), they have a robust complex flavor and smell fantastic! The people there are really nice and don't mind sharing a little coffee knowledge with their great tasting coffee.

this place was wonderful and offered four different kinds of alternative milk. It was a tiny little hole-in-the-wall place frequented by locals. they had the giant cinnamon rolls warm from the oven as well as other treats. The staff was really great. Not a lot of place to sit unless you find one of the four tables outside but most people tend to drop in before work.

The coffee tastes great but they are slower than most coffee shops that I’ve been to all around the world. Not sure where the other coffee shops are in this particular area... this one is in a noticeable location. I was fine waiting but there were people complaining all around me so the vibe suffers because of that. Imagine the potential if they were able to increase their capacity. Maybe another machine in the space.

Coffee snobs walk in carefully. The baristas could use a lesson on modesty. I truly don't need to get my coffee from girls with navals hanging out. And call me old, but, piercings at work never really made sense to me. I ordered a pour over only to be told after I paid that none of these lovely women were certified to do pour over. And I she didn't bother to take my order for a replacement to what was no longer available. All in all, the service was not something I aspire too. In fact if you're going to try and stand out as the best you should expect to give the best coffee and service since the baristas are the face of your company. Drop coffee was good. Baja mocha was good and the cold brew was well done.

Absolutely love their coffee. Stop by for a cup every time I am in Cambria, and have bought a few bags of beans to take home. Seating upstairs on patio is awesome for chilling and people watching as it provides an overlook of of Main St.

This is the most wonderful coffee house in California, in my humble opinion. I love Cambria, and this is always the first stop I make when I visit. Grab a delicious whole bean, fresh ground pour over made by Melanie, then head upstairs to sit on the deck watching the day go by ever so slowly. Something about this place makes all your problems melt away. The owner Tom is the nicest guy in Cambria, and knows coffee from A -Z. The Dominican is a mighty delicious blended drink for summertime. Time stands still in beautiful Cambria.

I had a latte and a slice of ham and onion quiche. My husband had a mocha and a large cinnamon roll. I don’t think I’ve ever had a latte as delicious. The quiche and cinnamon roll were perfect and my husband expressed said his mocha was delicious.

My wife and I had just stayed in San Simeon on our Highway 1 trip and were on our way before realizing we hadn't gotten a morning coffee. We stopped in Cambria having had dinner there the night before and were thrilled to find this spot. There was a small line out the door moving quickly and we're glad we stopped as the latte's that we both ordered were amazing. The company does their own roasting right next door to the cafe and the smell of fresh coffee is one that any coffee lover will instantly enjoy. A variety of blends are offered though the flavors and smells will have you hard pressed on making a decision on which to go with. A wonderful little spot and if you're passing through or are in the area and looking for a fresh brew, you can't go wrong!

Their coffee has gotten a lot better less bitter. But like their pastries & service very inconsistent. I've been going to this shop for over 4 years and I can't tell you how many times I've been in the long lines with employees just standing around talking to each other & not waiting on customers. Last week was no exception. 4 people in line & the manger took this as a good time to train a gal on the proper way to use the cappuccino machine. He was going on & on not once looking up to see people waiting for their coffee. I was trying to be patient but then the guy in front of me order a bunch of stuff including 3 lbs of coffee that he needed ground. When I finally said something the manger was a bit short with me & said "I'll be right with you" Sorry, was I bothering you? Just trying to get a cup of coffee.

I love this coffee shop! My first visit and it was a very pleasant experience. The barista was friendly and helpful. I had a Chai Tea Latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I also had an awesome cookie. A highlight was being able to take the coffee and treats and sit upstairs on the balcony. I am a huge people watcher so it was perfect for me.

We came here for a quick coffee since we were on our way from LA to SF bay. They don’t have Starbucks in town so this is the only place for coffee. Although the place is not too big, but the coffee is very unique and the waitress was very nice.

This is a quaint little coffee shop on the main drag that parallels US 1. The shop is tiny with standing room inside for about five people. The locals gather outdoors on a covered patio to chew the fat and solve world issues. Muffins and other sweets are available. Get the medium roast, not *cinder* coffee. Enjoy!

Warm, beautiful coastal town. Dog friendly and genuinely warm and friendly staff at ALL establishments, beginning with the owner and staff at the Cambria Shores Inn. Love the touch of hanging the breakfast baskets on the outside door each morning. The fresh baked and tasty cookies and brownies a definite and special plus. The beauty of the coast is only exceeded by the best coffee served by the beautiful baristas (Bailey and Cecely) at the coffee shop next to the Chamber of Commerce on Main Street. My first day I tried to be the "ugly" American, demanding the location of Starbucks. Bailey and Cecely continued their warm greeting and then served the best coffee I have ever tasted! My wife and I returned each day and even on our way out of Cambria and up the coast.

This little place roasts their own beans and you can watch or learn about it. The espresso was bitter in the best way. It was very good. The latte was also very good. I asked for whole milk and a cooler temp, which was perfect. I forgot to take a picture before drinking but my daughter didn't want me to drink it because it was so beautiful. Highly recommend if you're a strong or dark roast lover.
