Sparky's is my family's favorite restaurant in Eureka Springs. The food is consistently good and the staff is extremely friendly. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The brisket enchiladas are their signature item and they're fantastic. However I usually go for their Creole chicken sandwich, because their fries are excellent. If you're a spice fanatic, they have many, many choices to heat up your meal.

Not your ordinary restaurant... Lots of specialty items including burgers, Mexican, and chicken dishes. Excellent appetizers and a great selection of beers and wines on tap. Also, the waitresses are super friendly and will honestly answer any questions you may have about the menu. Great stop in Eureka Springs.

Very good food! Was working in the area and I visited here for lunch on a clients recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint! My wife and I decided we would like to try a couple of different items so we ordered the taco burger, and beef enchiladas. I am a Mexican food fanatic, and while this isn’t a Mexican restaurant I promise you the enchiladas were some of the best I’ve had. The burger was also on point. Will definitely be making this a staple when I’m making my rounds in the area from now on. Great work guys!

My family and I have eaten here many times. The food is always great and the staff is friendly and good with recommendations. The atmosphere is great as well, with your choice of eating inside or outside on a covered screened deck, summer or winter. I make it a point to eat here at least once everytime I am in Eureka Springs. A good selection of items on the menu and I have yet to have a bad experience.

While I have only been there one time, I went because I heard they were known foe their great burgers. I wasn't dissapointed. The burgers are made from fresh hamburger, not frozen patties. They are thick and juicy...you know, the kind that are messy to eat?!?! They have several that are supposed to be spicey hot and they are graded by little flames next to them. Not sure who decided what was spicey, but mine had three flames (with four flames being the spiciest) next to it and it wasn't bad at all. Our waitress was not only a good server but very friendly, as was all the staff that we talked to at the restaurant. I will definitely be going back again. The next time, I will be taking a fire extinguisher with me as I am going to go for four flames!

Excellent burgers, nice choices of different spicy sauces and cheeses to go on them (the "brave new burger" is really awesome!), and great selection of beers, both on tap and bottled. Very friendly service too. I'd give it 5 stars but it's pretty pricy, and could be a few dollars cheaper for food and for drinks.

The staff was great but our food was nothing special. The veggie burger was just a processed pattie that tastes a bit like cardboard. The falafel was pretty much a mushy mess with an odd taste. The prices were high for food that was not great. For the money, we wished we had gone to one of the other restaurants in Eureka Springs. We have eaten here several times and this visit was very disappointing.

The Gyro was excellent! The Vidalia Onion rings were a nice meal starter. I substituted a mixed greens salad for French fries. Subbing the salad was a good choice. The blue cheese dressing tasted homemade.

They have donated sponsorships to the Carroll County Orchestra which provides scholarships for band students to go to camp and college. Last time we ate here it was great. This time a kids burger without a drink was $6.50 plus the burger was covered and I mean covered in seasoning. Staff was great but the food we ordered was just for the kids and I was very disappointed in the $30 I spent. Won't be back there again.

Ok, so we came in as a group for dinner....there were 2 couples ahead of us and yet we waited about 45 minutes to be seated. We kept asking the young girl "hostess" could we atleast be seated and get some drinks becuz there are 2 rooms completely empty and she said no we cant back up the kitchen unless we wanted to wait an house and a half on our food. Another worker came and asked what was going on there was whispering and then she seated us and the other couples. Our food was awesome and our waitress was so wonderful...but the hostess on sat august 26th was the worst we had ever experienced. She was incredibly rude to my friends husband and my husband also. She is a liability to this restaurant!

We waited about 50 minutes to be seated and then another 40 minutes for our food. We were never told our wait would take so long and kept watching people be seated. We were a party of 15 and they wouldnt push tables together for us except in one place. We also had to go to the front after waiting 15-20 minutes on the waitress to get our check, we got tired of waiting after be at their restaurant for 2 hours and 20 minutes. The Staff was not apologetic but only acted offended if we tried to mention anything about our wait. The food was not worth the wait at all. Only 4 out of the 15 said their meal was good. But we did all enjoy the salsa and queso. This was outstanding. Customer service was lacking.

Sparky's was a great place to eat on vacation. I got the cheeseburger and my wife got some kind of a Southwest or Mexican burger that came with tortilla chips. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. We didn't eat outside, but they had misters on so you could eat outside even when it was hot. It was very busy but the other waitresses and busboys all pitched in so you never had to worry about needing more to drink or having a dirty plate sitting around in your way. If we are back in Eureka Springs, I'll definitely be planning to stop in at Sparky's again.

I love eating at Sparky's and enjoyed my nachos meal (an appetizer I made an entre), delicious. But I have to say that their Tabooli is terrible and their Cuban Haddock was also not good (had it last visit). But my hubby loved his burger, twice, and their Hummus is good. The ambiance and setting are really great, funky, fun, and creative, and they are half the reason to go to Sparky's. Our waitress on visit in May was great, and the waitress in June was very spacey and too forgetful, disappointing. Otherwise, they were good visits and I will return with friends!

I regret having to give a single star just to leave this review. Seriously, zero stars should be an option. This place is terrible. The staff is friendly enough, but the food is a joke. I would be willing to bet that everything we ordered was frozen garbage that they reheated in the microwave. Then, when I reluctantly paid for the nasty food, the waitress took it upon herself to keep my money. It certainly was not her right to decide that the remainder of my money was her tip. I will definitely never return, and would advise against anyone else eating here.

My boyfriend and I ate lunch here when we were visiting from out of state. The waitress didn't write down anything when we ordered, and my burger came plain with no toppings, which wasn't how I ordered it. The waitress was not attentive and seemed to be in a big hurry, even though the place wasn't that busy. When she took our dessert order, she only got mine and started to rush away, and I had to call her back over so my boyfriend could order his dessert. We waited a long time for the check and had to ask someone else to send our waitress out with it. We won't be back.

In all the decades of going to Sparky's Roadhouse we've never had anything less than an outstanding meal! I had the brisket special and the meat was perfect. So were the fries. My wife had the gyro. I tried hers. It was great. A nice blend of meat. We'll miss them when they close for the off season. We wish them all an enjoyable holiday time!

Awesome staff and delicious food! What else can you ask for? Sparky's Roadhouse Cafe was one of the best place we ate in Eureka Springs during our week trip. The place itself looks like a place you'd enjoy eating at just because of it's hometown type feel. When we went, it was quiet and not busy at all. We were seated almost immediately. Our server was excellent! She was very attentive and kind. We ordered our food using her suggestions and got it within 10 minutes. The food was A+, no complaints at all! Nothing was underdone and the portion sizes were perfect. Honestly, I don't know what to say negatively about the place. There's nothing wrong and nothing I can think they can improve on. I'll definitely visit again when we go back to Eureka Springs!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Today the owner was at the restaurant and we walked in to have dinner really quick after not eating all day and hurrying like crazy to get there before they closed at 9, and the hostess had to tell us that they were closed early. The owner did not even have the decency to put something on his Web page about closing early so that customers would know not to make the journey, even though he has been doing so regularly. Hostess was extremely sweet and apologized but all he did was give a stupid smirky smile that needed to be slapped off his rude face. He'd didn't make ANY effort to apologize for the inconvenience. Will NEVER STOP FOR IN THIS PLACE AGAIN!! WAY TOO many OTHER great places to eat in this town without having to put up with an extremely rude owner. Apparently he makes WAY TOO much money.

Terrible service for us. Our server forgot water with our drinks, despite asking for it and watching her write it down. They managed to forget our appetizer, and when we asked about it, another server checked on it. We waited another 10 minutes, before finally canceling it, but it showed up at the table 10 seconds later. Burgers were overcooked and the fries were a little soggy. We also overheard a server blame other tables for delayed and slow service. Three different servers and runners sat at tables with patrons while we ate. They weren't on break or eating, just stopping work to sit with friends. It was weird and a little unprofessional.

We had the lunch specials. Staff was excellent, friendly, energetic. Pork tacos were good, colored chips were not. Sloppy joe was mediocre, fries were pretty good. The price on the special was good, but I'm glad I didn't pay any more than that since the food wasn't anything to get excited about.

Very over priced and seem to up charge for everything without making it clear it’s not actually included. We got the Eiffel tower Which is $15.99 to split, a slice of cheese cake and 1 Dr Pepper and our bill came to $38. The sides which were fries and onion rings were good but the main dish was bad. We talked with a couple other restaurants in town after words and they seem to have the reputation of being over priced for not so good of food...won’t be back!

The only knock against them, is the wait. I suggest sitting outside, since it tends to be freed up sooner and is still very comfortable, even in the heat

Visiting Eureka Springs and chose the cafe by chance as it was open during the late night evening in the winter. Was very pleased with the burgers and the atmosphere that we went back again the next day for lunch. Enchiladas were excellent. And the background classic rock music was just fantastic.
