We took our route purposely to eat at this little restaurant. Very pleased!! Quaint house renovated into thr restsurant. Wonderful staff and great food. Worth the drive to Leslie to dine there. Hope we have opportunity to go back.

Great little place with nostalgic charm, great service, and very artful avant-garde entrees. The food is delicious! Like stepping back to the 1940's-1950's, but with very imaginative forward thinking cuisine. No trendy, nouvelle sized portions, however. A decent size meal you will really enjoy. A real gem of a restaurant, not typical for our area.

Excellent cafe for lunch. The menu changes, but they usually have a good soup of the day and a sandwich special. Their desserts are homemade and worth a try. If you go in the winter, be prepared for a little chilly temperature inside depending on where you sit. It is worth a stop if you are traveling on US65. NOTE: they are located on the corner of Walnut and High streets. Google has their address wrong. Ask any local if you need directions.

I was with a large group and everyone was very happy with their lunch, but I must say, the strawberry pie knocked it out of the park. It was so creamy and delicious, with that great graham cracker crust, OH MY! I'm from Idaho, and I would fly/drive to eat it again!

Skylark is a wonderful sandwich shop. Their locally made breads are perfect. The desserts are to die for! Try the peanut butter pie! Or a moist yuumy cake! Someday I'm going to go there and just eat dessert! My sons comment was that this was a restaurant that could survive in a big city. Leslie is a cute little town, with a couple fun quaint stores on the main drag.

Dined there first time with family, 4 adults, 2 children, a couple weeks ago. Heard from resources good place to dine, however very disappointing! Waited almost 2 hours to get food, people were served their food who came in well after we were there. Simple order, hot entree served cold, long time to sit on hard chairs with 2 young children. No follow up with waitress staff for drink refills, pricey meal, the plus was presentation of food and taste was good. No apologies for long long long wait! Will not return.

The Skylark Cafe was a restaurant my wife and I found on our way through the Ozarks. We stop in any time we come through, now. We take selfies in front of the iconically painted front porch. The pulled pork tacos are great. Get a slice of pie, too.

I travel from Russellville to Marshall for work sometimes, and every time I come, I stop at Skylark's. I've gotten something different every stop, and I've yet to have anything disappointing. I had the torta this time and the smoked pulled pork goes so well with the red sauce and queso fresco. Stop if you get a chance!

Everything on the menu is phenomenal. All of their pork and brisket is smoked on sight, strawberry pie is a must try! Friday and Saturday night specials include things like homemade pasta and seared lamb with local garden vegetables.

A very friendly atmosphere. We ordered the brisket tacos and the steak quesadilla. Both were over the top delicious, and were presented in a very artistic manner. Although dubious, i was pleased to find the brisket tacos brought a unique and delightful meld of their house-smoked tender brisket mingled with spicy cajun slaw and fresh cilantro. For dessert, we chose their house made strawberry pie. Again, it was delightful!

Excellent comfort food. Great reason to make a stop in Leslie. Had heard that the owners had spent time in Austin for culinary training so we added it to our Arkansas trip - and were very glad we did. Club sandwich on locally baked sourdough was outstanding! Salads with house dressing were great and don't skip the deserts - amazing!

We went here on a cold day and were fortunate to get a table right near the fireplace...the ambience was wonderful. A quaint, artsy type place with a limited menu but I still found it enjoyable. It would have received 5 stars if it was a little less expensive and the wait wasn’t so long (we waited 1hr 5 mins.)
