You must have seen that its rating is basically the best one, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the rating is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, it works.

This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Coffee shop.
Loved this place! Coffee was great and loved that there was a record player playing blues music. The only thing I can comment on is that it's a small place so seating can be hard to find. Will be going back while in Arkansas.
Coffee ice cubes.
My go-to am spot!
Really nice atomosphere
This is by far my favorite coffee shop ! Superb coffee. Nice atmosphere
Good coffee and great atmosphere. There's a record player, comfy seating, and board games. A buddy of mine and I come here to play chess from time to time. Really a great place to hang out
A hidden gem that deserves all the love, it's one of the coolest coffee shops in Little Rock, everything is always spot on!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff
A hipsters embassy to Arkansas
I love coming here!
Love this place, feels like home! The coffee ice cubes are the best
Great place. A must stop if you're in Hillcrest.
Fantastic! nice Americano homie feel. I do wish the bench was a little more comfortable it would have made my almost 3 hour visit even nicer.
Two words: Bottomless coffee...
If you weren't looking for it, walking right past would be pretty easy! The atmosphere is kitschy and inviting, with plenty of room to sit and have a conversation, or get some work done. The owner is quite friendly, and gave a good run-down of the drip coffees available, helping me steer clear of the extra caffeinated stuff so sleep could be had later. They have music playing (not obnoxious), so if you're looking to study, headphones are a definite must. The only change I'd make would be to offer some pour overs... that's it. At the end of the day, a great place to stop for some coffee while in Little Rock.
For my first visit . I can say I enjoyed the experience, it was very relaxing
It's a nice little coffee shop with a nice little staff. Parking is hard to find, seeing as they have to share a small parking lot with a realty company and one other store, but the coffee is worth it.
Our favorite coffee shop! It is warm and comfortable with a wide variety of teas and chocolates. Each barista has their own specialty so if you have the time make sure to ask them. Definitely worth it.
Great local cafe
Hands down. Best, smoothest coffee I've ever had. ♡♡♡♡
Coffee is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly. Small location, but there is no pressure to leave in a expected amount of time.
This place is awesome! Great coffee and great atmosphere. I enjoy the space, and the record player is a nice touch. It's got a really cool vibe and complements the Hillcrest area well.
Salted caramel for the sweet tooth wonderful espresso!
The queerest coffee shop in town
My favorite coffee shop. And the people who work there are really friendly and the environment is homey and comfortable. They've also got a great music selection. The coffee is great and so is the pastry collection, along with my personal favorite, their smoothies.
Always friendly
Great coffee shop! I had a Cafe au Lait my wife had a Caramel Latte, my daughter had Hot Cocoa, everything was really good. Muffin and cookie were fresh as well.
I love the staff and regulars that come here. Great selection of teas and coffee and a knowledgeable staff. It's a hole in the wall gem!
Love that they have board games and cards a record player with fantastic selection if I lived in Hillcrest would visit alot more often. Overall a really relaxing place to have a cup of coffee or tea and read or chat with friends or staff. Highly recommend visiting
Love the coffee and the people
River City, part of the Divine Dining group operating multiple concepts across the Grand Strand; is a leader in casual local dining. Complimentary peanuts available, and all drinks are served in a souvenir cup you can take with you. Great source for affordable American fare.
Checking out the local coffee shops and stopped by for a cup. Building has a nice storefront with an historical look to it. Parking spots are mostly on the street and depending on time of day can be hard to find. The shop does have tight quarters inside but it is cozy. Music selection was appealing for the atmosphere. Coffee was prepared as requested and tasted wonderful. Nice low key place to enjoy your brew.
Perfect cozy coffee shop vibes. A great spot to talk to a friend, read by yourself, or just be comfortable. But most importantly--where else can you get ice cubes made of frozen coffee for your iced lattes/drinks? This is the solution we've been waiting for. River City is on another level.
Great coffee selection and a very chill atmosphere. I like to check out the new art for sale while waiting.
Gr8 service and coffee.
Pumpkin spice latte delicious - no unavailable seasonal game a la the chain giant. Plus supporting local business. So glad I stumbled upon this Hillcrest treasure
I live in Hillcrest and occasionally roast my own coffee beans because I insist on drinking high quality coffee at home. When I don't feel like roasting or can't roast for some reason I head over to River City Coffee because I know they will have high quality coffee varieties that are recently roasted. Just compare a cup of their coffee with off-the-shelf coffee beans you can buy at Starbucks and you will notice a big difference. The shop is inviting and comfortable if you just want to sit and enjoy a cup of your favorite brew and a pastry. The baristas are highly knowledgeable and happy to engage in coffee talk.
The Best Coffee!
Nice customer service but the coffee isn't too great. I ordered a salted caramel latte but it tasted like salt and milk.
Awesome, locally owned coffee shop. A small, cozy atmosphere with plenty of tables to sit in. The shop regularly rotated the work of local artists and is a great place to hang out and chat, study, or work.
They play records, very cozy.
Best coffee shop in Hillcrest!
Great local. Very similar feeling to a northwest coffee shop. Feels like home to my wife and I.
Cozy relaxing with a decent selection of paperbacks and records.
Adore this place for so many different reasons. The feel of community, the atmosphere, the kindness of the owner and employees, and AMAZING coffee. I just love it. Velvet Hammer is where it is at.
A decent coffee shop.
Nice little shop
Awesome coffee
Nice location, nice people, but a bit cramped.
SEATING: It's a small shop but they make good use of space for seating. So far I've always found a place to sit, and I've come at different times throughout the day. POWER OUTLETS: Yes! Each little cluster of seating has at least one. They've also invested in multiple power strips. Why more coffee shops don't do this I have no idea. ATMOSPHERE: Artsy but cozy. They've got a record player with plenty of records you can flip through, books to read, and even board games. COFFEE: Good! They even offer coffee ice cubes so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down. FOOD: They've got the basics, like bagels and muffins. My only complaint about this place is that they could offer more food.
Fast and courteous service. Excellent coffee and tea.
River City Coffee is a charming hangout! The coffee is great. The Chai is my favorite! I love that you can play their vinyl records in the front room.
Was visiting from North Texas and was in desperate need for some good coffee/espresso. River City did not disappoint. I had the cinnamon roll latte and my hubby had the Trifecta. I really would love to go back just for the coffee. Seth did a great job!
Warm, cozy, amicable atmosphere. Great local coffee. Wonderful friendly staff and clients. A genuine gem to Little Rock.
First class service in a fun, funky space. They support equal pay for Women
Best coffee in the state.
It was nice and good coffee and nice people.
Good selection of coffee with a friendly staff. Only dislikes would be the limited selection of food and the windows leaked when it was raining. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it over your local starbucks
This is by far the best coffee shop in Little Rock.
Chill, good taste in music, and locally roasted coffee. River City represents an important piece of Hillcrest and reflects the area's modern, artistic culture. I've met many of my friends at this eclectic little shop. I recommend getting a latte or trying one of the daily drip coffees.
Cozy coffee shop. Part of my daily routine. Everyone is a friend. Always got some cool tunes playing on the turntable.
Great coffee shop
Pick a record put it on and enjoy some coffee.
This is my favorite coffee shop around Little Rock. I suggest trying the raspberry mocha with the coffee ice cubes but this drink is great hot as well! OBSESSED, highly recommend. Staff is great & very welcoming. Small environment but very cozy & they have plenty of things to read & there's also a few boardgames you can play too.
Nice funky store, small but comfortable. Great mocha. 3/4 pound coffee beans offered, ground or whole. Friendly owner, turned me on to Mexican Chiapas beans.
A nice little homie spot! A lot better, cheaper, and less pretentious than Milos if you're in the Hillcrest area. Great drinks, great staff, and great WIFI. oh, and they support local artists and music!
Jeremy is a great guy and creates the perfect atmosphere.!!
This is my hide away! And the coffee is made with a personal touch. I can't get enough!
Best Black and White I've had since leaving the West Coast! AND, they are quick! I love this place. Staff is always great and I love that I can bring my dog! After 3-4 barks, he lays down and sleeps. I also buy my coffee here.
Very good latte! Stereo with awesome album collection!
I love this place!
Coffd was great! However, the shop is small and doesn't have many tables to sit at and do work. There are plenty of couches and is a good spot to leisurely read and enjoy, but not good for productivity.
Nice, quaint shop with a very chill atmosphere. Typical coffee drinks and coffee shop fare but more in easy, relexed environment
Nice chill place with excellent service.
Best coffee around
This place has INCREDIBLE coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super laid back and fun! Highly recommend the mocha!
Great little coffee shop. Plenty of seating and had a good homey feel.
A local favourite and one of the few places that will offer you almond milk in your coffee.
I ordered large carmel latte, comparable price to big franchises but the quality was so much better. You can tell they take pride in each cup from the choice of beans they use, to the quality of the espresso shots in each drink. I will definitely be coming back regularly.
Excellent place to get a cup of coffee or to buy coffee beans. The staff is very friendly and know a lot about coffee.
Wonderful coffee, a fun and funky new location, friendly staff. Hillcrest would not be the same without it.
my favorite coffee shop in little rock! unassuming, incredibly welcoming, damn good coffee, constantly supporting local artists, good music / open record player, wifi, and it's run by real good peoples. there's nothing not to like about this place, definitely get a cup of joe here if you're in town. they also have food and ice cream for those with a sweet tooth!
Very cool coffee shop. A lot of people come here to work so sometimes it could get crowded.
Locally roasted coffee beans!!! They support local bands and artist. We need more businesses like Rock City Coffee. Eat, Shop, Support Local !!
There are some awesome local coffee shops in Little Rock, but this is my absolute favorite. There are so many great menu items and I treat myself to a lavender latte every few weeks. It’s just so delicious and the drip is awesome as well. The owner, who is so nice and friendly, will help you decide on a drink, make something custom and provide suggestions for other great spots in town. He recently told me about a few vintage places to check out that I hadn’t been to before. The shop itself is eclectic and funky and very welcoming. It’s a lovely spot to read or hang out while you sip on a tasty cup of joe.
Best little coffee shop in Little Rock!
In addition to great coffee drinks, River City Coffee sells beans, (my favorite is the Italian Roast), and has a sweet turntable to play vinyl while you sip. It's a comfy place!
I'm just passing through Little Rock and wanted to try a local shop. Super cozy and tasty coffee--perfect during the rainstom I'm sitting through
I only get to go there when I'm in Little Rock but I go there every day when I'm in town. The owner remembers what I drink every time.
It's like Cheers, where everybody knows your name
Fell in love with the dirty chi latte. Yummy!!
Cool little place, definitely independent. Great vibes and good for convo. Probably good for studying too.
Very comfortable place with a nice artsy atmosphere and various seating. Barista is kind and the local art is pleasent to view.
My favorite coffeeshop in my favorite neighborhood in Little Rock. It's a great place to chat with many regulars and visitors. Regi and Jeremy, the owners, are very nice and support the community with local art events regularly and as a social hub. Espresso and Specialty gourmet beverages are available in addition to fresh coffee roasted locally.
This place is tiny. The cappuccino machine was broken. So, no lattes or anything that needed steamed milk. My coffee was delicious. Not much for food. The atmosphere is quiet. Nice place to just sit and study or read or knit something. They play nice music on the turntable. The staff are friendly. Worth a second visit.
I love this place. It's cozy and eclectic and they have great coffee. Every seat along the booths has its own power strip. Not an outlet. A power strip. Friendly staff, good coffee, great atmosphere.
Favorite place in LR to study. The hot cocoa is pretty good too ;)
Ask for the London Smog
Bagels from the grocery store, barista touched bagels with bare hands, didn’t hear our order - whole milk instead of skim, no space for milk in americano. Just pure disappointment. Pastry choices are so limited - muffins from the nearest Kroger. No way I’ll come back here. No way.
Good coffee. Nice vibe. Blue Bell ice cream.
Coffee was good. When I stopped by the espresso machine was broke. Very cute place. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cozy and comfortable place to relax with good food and tasty drinks. An excellent place to beat the cold and damp
My girlfriend and I have been trying out all the local coffee shops in Central AR and we feel the most comfortable here so far. They have hot and cold options of every drink. Muffins are very moist.
I ordered a chai latte with soy cold. It was the perfect level of spice for chai. I could actually taste the cinnamon! Best addition was coffee ice cubes! It became a "dingy" chai...absolutely perfect for the hot weather. Awesome service.
Best caramel latte hands down
This is my favorite coffee shop around Little Rock. I suggest trying the raspberry mocha with the coffee ice cubes
Always like this coffee shop. Reasonable prices and great coffee!
Fast, friendly, and adorable. I stopped by every morning during a trip here for work and they already learned my order.
Great coffee and awesome refill policy. I'll come back, even though I was visiting from Austin. The guy working behind the counter was really nice too. Tip these guys big.
Always consistant and beautifully done coffee. Coffee ice cubes(the best). And selection is great.
Made me a special New York-styled Iced Capuccino, all I had to do was ask! Friendly staff and nice place to meet a friend for coffee.
My Daughter Love's the Muffins & I Love the coffee & fresh fruit!!!! Great place & Friendly works!!!
Cozy, a real place for conversation starters. The coffee is the best and the music is always on point, and if it's not what you like you can choose from hundreds of records to play on the record player. Jeremy is the quintessential example of quality service and hospitality.
On Friday, February 16th, after my girlfriend and I finished our Valentines Day date dinner, we decided to enjoy a hot beverage (a coffee drink of some sort). But we decided that we wanted to try a new place, that was not a big nationally recognized chain business, a place that was locally owned and operated. We found River City Coffee by way of Google....what else..?? lol.. It's a small place, and it was dark, but we found it. And we were so very happy & pleased that we did! We loved the eclectic art and decor of the place. We were comfortable and enjoyed our beverages, and our time in this local establishment. Seth was the employee that took care of us that night. Seth was a very personable, friendly, and professional guy. And he knew what he was doing when it came to making our drinks. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our visit to this local business. And we plan to go back there on an ongoing basis in the future. Thank you River City Coffee, and thank you, Seth for a pleasant and enjoyable experience on our date night!!! -Brian J. Anderson- :-) A satisfied customer!!! :-)
Totally awesome! Who are the owners though guys?
This is 1 of little rocks awesome local coffee shops & they help support lots of great local bands each month during hillcrest's Shop n Sip
They make great cappuccinos, one of the best I’ve had.
My fave
Very crowded inattentive staff coffee was decent.
Great coffee and great atmosphere. Perfect for studying!
Cozy place.
The best coffee shop in Arkansas! Very nice owner, comfortable couches, lots of board games and records to choose from
The word-of-mouth is what drew me to this coffee shop and the ambiance and dedication to brewing quality, wholesome coffee is what leads me to return whenever visiting Little Rock. Try the iced lavender latte with soy or almond milk!
Swung through on the way across country and was super happy to run across this place- The owner was super cool and helpful outside of just serving very VERY good coffee (and I have been to a few cafes in my day). He gave me places to bike around and explained the layout of the neighborhood. The vibe was excellent and the chairs outside were comfy. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and in general I just had an excellent experience swinging through for a cup. Will definitely visit again when in Little Rock.
Highly recommend! Nice coffee place!
As the owner of the new (location and owners) River City Coffee, I can't help but give our establishment 5 stars. The drinks are incredible, the environment is open and airy, and our baristas are talented and accommodating. I am proud to call River City Coffee my own, along with my husband. Bring your music (CD or vinyl), your thirst, your computer (free wifi), your dog (water bowl inside and outside), and get ready for a latte attention and fun. Community and coffee/tea coming together at 2913 Kavanaugh.
Small coffee shop with great coffee and good atmosphere!
Darn good coffee! If you're debating between Starbucks or trying something new, DEFINITELY go here!!!
Beautiful! Really enjoyed the good vibes!
Great coffee, cool little shop
Excellent!
