The food was pricey for the quality. There were a few small pieces of asparagus stem in the French breakfast, and if there were mushrooms I did not see them. Service was fairly good. Would have been nice to have been told about the “jelly bar” when food was finally served.

Husband and I walked into Red Door for veteran's day breakfast. Stood there for a couple of minutes, hostess asks how many, I say two... She then says it'll be 15-20 minutes, we are busy...then just walks away. We were such an inconvenience for her. This vet went elsewhere. The food is fine, but service sucks....not worth it.

I went there twice and both times it was only average. I got a very salty crab cake, in which I got middle of my entree. Second time we got steaks, where we ordered it medium rare, came out medium well. For a "high end" restuarant it doesn't even have big solid ice. Wouldn't go again, or recommend to anyone

Awesome place for breakfast! Good portion sizes and their mimosas are really good. I had their skillet breakfast and it was plenty to share! I also really loved the jelly bar. Lots of varieties of jams and jellies to choice from. The service is wonderful and each time I've been there everyone is super friendly. A must try in Little Rock!

The cheese dip appetizer was good but the chips were stale. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes for mashed potatoes that came lukewarm at best. No flavor. The prime rib country fried steak was good. A little heavy handed on garlic and onion in the gravy. Small means small!

Not bad. Not bad at all. I had the bbq shrimp and stone grits with a side of sauteed spinach. The staff was friendly and we were promptly seated on a Tuesday at 600 pm with hardly anyone in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and the parking was easy. I will be back.

Wasn't impressed for the price and portion sizes. Fried shrimp and ribeye chicken fried steak tasted burnt. Fried oysters were good and the fried ravioli was good although you only get 4 for like 9 bucks. Probably wouldn't go back. Service was great.

Beautiful hostess with a wonderful greeting. Then if that is not enough.. Mark Abernathy owns the place ! You know its gonna be high quality.

Everyone hyped this place up and we were so disappointed. The atposphere is darker, a bit more dingy and dusty and no natural light so go on a nice day and sit outside if you go. Very old hole in the wall diner vibe inside. Brunch was very much southern “my grandma made us breakfast” food. Lacking in flavor and presentation and very overpriced. Mimosa were delicious at least... but as for brunch places this place should not at all be high up on Little Rock’s list of go to places.

I’ve been here for brunch and dinner a couple of times. The food has never once been bad and is actually pretty tasty. My only real gripe is that it seems like wait times are usually very long and it sometimes feels understaffed with how long it sometimes takes to be waited on. If I could give it a 4.5 I would. All in all it’s a very good restaurant that is a great choice for a date night for almost any occasion.

Absolutely terrible experience. Sat 20 minutes outside in the heat waiting to be seated, which is understandable. But then after ordering, we waited literally over an hour. Had to call for the manager to ask if we were ever going to be served. The manager was extremely rude, did not even apologize, and acted "put out" that we were wondering what the hell was going on. At least 5 other tables were both seated, served, and left, in the process of us waiting just to be served. Food finally came after twice asking what was going on. $14 for "chicken and waffles", which was just a few small chicken tenders which were overcooked and dry. 3 small waffle triangles. Could've gotten better food and service at a f*cking Mcdonalds. Horrible experience, terrible food, abysmal management. All I can ask now is that NO ONE else makes the mistake of coming to this 'restaurant' again, please.

I absolutely love this restaurant. My mom and I went to dine here for her birthday and got here at around 5pm. There was no wait to sit at a table. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. We ordered appetizers: the stuffed mushrooms over a bed of grits, fried oysters, and crab cakes on fried green tomatoes which our waiter specifically recommended. The came to our table at a timely manner all at once. They were all super delicious, nothing burnt. Since it was my mom's birthday they gave her a free dessert (which she was so nice enough to share with me). She got an apple cobbler with ice cream, caramel and cinnamon on top. Everything was so delicious and affordable. They even had some of my '90s jams playing while we were eating which added to the dinner experience. This is the only restaurant (outside of Oceans's for their sushi) that I would come back to in Little Rock. Thank you Red Door for the tasty odyssey.

The waitress was fantastic!!! I had the 4 egg omelette, my daughter had French Toast with Caramel Bananas and that looked scrumptious, my other daughter had the Country Fried Steak, Scrambled Eggs and my sister had Blueberry Pancakes. All the food looked so yummy and no one complained about any of it. I am from Louisiana and was just in Little Rock Arkansas for a day and when I go back I hope we will go back there. My daughters go there all the time.

Surprisingly great food. i ordered the wahoo and my wife ordered the chicken parmesan. Both were excellent and my wife said it was the best she had ever had. The bread pudding made from croissants was amazing but I'm sure is not doctor recommended.

I had a birthday coupon, buy 1 get 1 free, and decided to come for lunch. We were seated right away and had great service. I enjoyed the ribeye, green beans, and sweet potato wedges. Only complaint was I asked the ribeye to cooked medium and it was cooked more medium well, but it was very flavorful and tender.

Stopped in for brunch the other day. Place was busy but we only waited 20 minutes for a table. Had bloody mary's from the bar to pass the time. Be aware there are 2 different tiers of them. The cheaper and smaller size and then the little larger special order ones which we got. Of course no prices are listed for the special ones but I was really caught off guard when I got the tab. Actually had to ask the bartender if something else was added by mistake. Highest I've paid for bloody mary's ever. Food was good though but again a little pricey for the portion. Service was on top of things and super friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Overall everything was very good but a tad on the pricey side. With the wait we had for a table people already know this and still enjoy the place anyhow.

We really enjoy this restaurant and will be going back. We've been going on and off to this restaurant for several years, but not regularly. Up until last night we'd never had a bad meal or service there. Last night we took a group of 11, made reservations a couple of weeks before. When we arrived everything was ready. The room was crowded so access to one of the seats was impossible, but they had plenty of seats so everyone had a place to sit. Appetizers were all very good and all but one meal was excellent. The food came promptly (except mine) and the waiter kept everyone's drinks full. He was slow removing dirty dishes from the appetizers. I ordered a large fillet, medium rare. My meal arrived a good 10-15 minutes after everyone else's. When it arrived it was well done, ruined. I told the waiter and he had the cook prepare another steak. The night manager came and apologized, was very sincere, and they took it off the bill. The steak was delicious. Like I said, my wife and I will be there again in the future. Sometimes things go wrong no matter where you go. My recommendation is unless you reserve the private room keep your groups small...4 to 6 maybe.

They had two tables that went un-bussed for over 15 minutes while people stood around waiting for their names to be called. I asked the front about it and they said they were letting their kitchen catch up. I'm not sure how that affected seating and managing their clientele though.

My cousin recommended this place for breakfast, and it was so good! My mom got one of the skillets, and I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. We were both very impressed with the food. This place seems to be going downhill and it's saddening (down in my eyes from a 4 star to a 3 and almost 2). The wife and I have been numerous times over the last few years and see this place trending downward. The food isn't prepared as well (inattention to detail, not prepared particularly well) and the service has turned into college kids who don't care about their work and are just looking for a paycheck. We might come back once every few months just holding on to hope that the management saves this place.

The grouper was great! There were about 50 of us in the back room celebrating together. We all waited about 10 minutes per drink and the food came after an hour. Of course, it's 3xp3cted to have a long wait, and this was about right for the group size. While it's not my favorite fare, many enjoyed what they had to eat.

We went for Father's Day and were very disappointed in the food. Three of us got the crab cake eggs benedict which is normally fantastic. Not that day. Silver dollar sized crab cakes. I was embarrassed that I chose this as our destination for the day. I hope in the future it returns to its past quality. I will definitely think about alternatives before I go back.

My parents and I went for brunch on a Saturday morning. We got there before they opened (9am) and we were the third table to be seated. We had looked at the menu the night before so we already had an idea of what we wanted to order. Our server came got our drink orders and a few minutes later came back with our drinks and took our food order. We waited and waited, our server apologized it was taking so long and then we waited even more. Tables that had been seated 20 minutes AFTER us were receiving their food and finishing their food before we finally got our food. We spoke with the server and asked to speak with the manager, we made sure to let our server know that we were not blaming them for it taking so long for us to get our food. The manager, Joey, came to our table a few minutes after we got our food and instead of apologizing he was defensive as soon as he got to the table. We honestly just wanted to express our frustration and be heard. Instead we never received an apology from Joey, he made excuses for how long it takes and challenged us on how long we waited to order food and how long it took for our food to show up. The food was good. But because of our experience I will not be going back, for brunch or any other meal.

I actually thought this place was a place that only wanted the upper crust people there . Boy was I wrong! This place was not a stick in the mud at all! Since I have been going there I have become a regular and my fiance and I only go for breakfast. Our favorite waitress is Brittany and she make us feel as if we are at home! I started going there about 3 months ago and I have not stopped going yet! As long as I live in Little Rock I will always look forward to Saturdays for brunch! In two words, I love it!!

My boyfriend and I went for brunch on a Saturday around 1pm & waited very shortly - less than 10-15 minutes? - for a table to open up. Our waitress was very nice and since we already looked at the menu, ordered our coffee and food right away. We got a plate of waffles with bananas on top and the Ole South Skillet. Highly recommend both plates. They were both fantastic. I also heard the pancakes are really good. Will probably try that next time!

Absolutely average. After waiting 20 minutes on a Sunday lunch seat, we were seated inside a pretty cramped dining space. It got loud very frequently as everyone tries to talk over each other. The food that came out was okay, the eggs were dry, the bacon had been previously cooked and wasn't even warm and the potatoes are just fries cooked with some peppers n such. Overall was very under impressed with the total experience of food and price, but the servers and staff were very friendly and pretty knowledgeable checking in just often enough. I probably won't go back myself, but if someone else just really wants to go I guess I'd give it another shot.

This is a locally owned, slightly upscale restaurant. I would say "trendy," but at my age I guess everything from this century seems trendy. Good food with some unique menu items. Friendly service. Lots of outdoor seating for pretty days. I've been here a half dozen times in the last couple of years and enjoyed every visit. It's not inexpensive, but not unreasonable at all.

For starters, this place is really pretty on the outside, but kind of dingy on the inside. We were shown to our table by a hostess who was nice. And then there was our server, “Queen”. Presented my guest and I the wrong bottle of wine and then proceeded to open it and pour. Did not even let us try it. I told him that the bottle he was pouring was about twice as expensive as the bottle we ordered, but nothing was ever done about that. I went without water for the majority of my meal, and saw our server sitting in a chair in front of a computer with his phone. Did not know anything about the food, ingredients, preparation, etc. chicken on the nachos was very dry and bland. The crab cakes were also a huge flop. Cold in the middle, dry, and expired. Then we tried the ravioli, which was actually decent, besides the sauce being sweet. All in all, bad experience. Maybe we caught them on an off night. I asked another server where I could get some water and was told “this is my first night, I’m really not sure.” One server had shorts on, which just looked tacky. If you are in Little Rock and want something upscale, this is not it.

My filet was a thin cut of meat that was folded in half to look like a medallion. The manager was apologetic and comped the dinner. Ill just go to loca luna in the future.

Went to visit this restaurant Red Door last Sunday morning and the service was poor!!!. This was my first time there and the boy that was working at the bar was so rude. So i told the manager how rude he was and he did say sorry or anything. The manager didnt know how to run that place. The bartender was talking back to the manager. Then the host sat guest that came in after us, so i advised the host with colored hair , that we were here before them...she said to us" its a servers family and they are first sorry, im just being honest". With an attitude! This place was horrible! Everyone i came in contact with was RUDE..and i would not recommend this place if people are going to be treated bad. No one smiled in this place at all. The food was good, but manager, host, bartender sucks! That bartender has a nasty attitude and very unfriendly. I hate we had that experience going there.

Great service and even better food. Can't say enough wonderful things about Red Door. The jelly/jam bar was a very pleasant surprise.....best apple butter I've ever had, hands down. Came in for brunch, but will be back for lunch/dinner.

Really enjoyed my eggs Benedict Florentine! The other parties at my table were equally satisfied w/ their meal w/ our guest promising to return w/ his wife. He ordered the omelette which had the largest variety of toppings I had ever seen offered. Hubbie had the chicken fried chicken w/ hard scrambled eggs. The chicken breading was well seasoned and extremely tasty! Plus, it was nice to experience their jelly bar. (I took some of hubbie's gigantic biscuit just to try it. The jelly bar definitely catches your eye when you walk in.) It's very easy to see why The Reddoor made Little Rock's Best Restaurants list which is how I discovered it.

Worst place ever I visited from Las Vegas and the worst experience I ever had!! Staff so disrespectful I will never go back. Also the manager is Racist!!!!!!He lets the workers disrespect you and he doesn’t care we asked for the manager he came outside and said he already knew what was going on and basically he said are you guys still want to eat here so that mean he didn’t care!And when I mentioned it to others they said they had the same problem at that establishment. The girl at the register Erica is really racist!!!!!
