Really nice old restaurant. Been around 110 years! Shows lots of history of the area, and still has a bit of modern touch to it. Buffet is limited. Very southern, down home cooking. Salad bar available, although it's only iceberg lettuce.

I have a lot of memories here, and all of them are good. This is a great place to go after a float on the Upper Buffalo. The atmosphere is homey, and they have decorated the restaurant so that it tells its own history. This historical location has had many years to perfect its craft, and that is clear in the food. Every burger on the menu is well crafted and well made. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is filling.

The cafe was our lunch destination for our group motorcycle ride today out of Springfield, MO. It was very crowded at lunch, but the service and food was outstanding. Our group of 12 only had a 15 minute wait to be seated. My wife and I were first timers today. We will definitely be back!

The service was great! The food was excellent and prepared well. We had a group of about 22. All our meals came out at the same time, were hot, large portions, and enjoyable. The wait staff were very welcoming and friendly. The salad bar was kept fresh and stocked. They were ready to serve any request.

Perfect place to stop after a long day! We've been here numerous tines while in the area for rock climbing, and we've always enjoyed our meals here.

Very friendly and casual place with pretty good food. Saturday nights can be very crowded. I reserve five stars for only the very best. That's not to say this place is not very good. From chicken fried steak to excellent club sandwiches the food here is good. This is a dry county and no booze is available.

The Ozark Cafe is on the register of national historic places. The atmosphere is great, the staff are excellent and the food is superb comfort food. The pancakes are the best anywhere, even with no syrup! Their sawmill style gravy will make you put my diet aside for now. Or try the chocolate gravy! All the omelettes will knock your socks off. On Saturday night, they have live singing on stage. Don't miss the Ozark Cafe!

One of the best places to eat in Jasper. Great breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert. The hash browns are amazing and so is all the other breakfast food. Lunch / Dinner is pretty good although the other meals are certainly better. They have the highest quality ice cream in many different flavors which can be made as a bowl, cone, sundae, shake, or malt and they are all very good, definitely recommend.

The food we had (Chicken Fried Chicken and Club Chicken) was very good. The service was a little slow, but it was most likely due to the fact that the place was packed. We were just talking about how never have we ever had a bad chicken fried chicken until now. Two of us got the same chicken fried chicken sandwich and both were so over cooked the chicken was so dried out. Please improve that. The potato salad was great, the blackened and blue burger was awesome though. We had never been here and when we arrived we were met at front door by others leaving and they were talking about how expensive the place is and they were right. Everyone in our party bought a sandwich type plate that comes with a side, but if you get a burger you pay extra for sides. Burgers are $8-$10 and you still pay extra and if you buy a drink it's $3. One meal with everything was over $14. That's one expensive burger.

If you find yourself in Jasper, Arkansas and want something good to eat, go to the Ozark Cafe. I had both supper and breakfast there. My burger and fries were well-prepared, as was the blackberry cobbler. My breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, coffee) was cooked just right and served quickly and hot. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Tiny little town with two cafes, not a whole lot of choices. I imagine they get a lot of traffic from people who are visiting Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, which is exactly what we were doing. We decided to go into “town” on our off day and tried the cafe. I was glad I packed most of our meals, as I wouldn’t want to eat here for four days. The food took a longgg time, refills were hard to come by. Most of our food - especially the burger and melt that we ordered were just warm, and obviously sitting for at least ten minutes before being served. I think they were waiting for the fried stuff - fried mushrooms and chicken tenders to be done before serving us. The patties in the burger and melt were dry, I would never order these here. Mushrooms and chicken were pretty good. Curly fries were not fresh but okay. All in all, I would not recommend, but when you have no choices, you can’t be picky. (I did hear my in laws say they had good breakfast...)

The food and staff were very good. Keep in mind I did just get done hiking when I went here, but the steak I ordered was the best tasting and most correctly cooked I have had I a while. The potato salad I ordered with it was also the best potato salad I've had that wasn't German potato salad. The room, tables, and dishes all seemed clean. Again, the food is really good.

If you are within a 30 mile radius you ha e to eat at this cafe. I think it's been around for like 120yrs and it has one of the best atmospheres you can get. The food is great, the staff is great! This place is hopping. Do yourself a favor and go visit them in downtown Jasper, AR. They haven't ever disappointed me and my family.
