While the menu offers some amazingly creative, unusual options it also shows an excellent sense of restraint. It's clean, creative, and in a refined environment with a refined product. And yes, the customer service is really special too.

This is a hidden gem downtown! The coffee is cheap (but tasty!) The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet and artsy, and the board games and view make it a great place to stay for a while. Plus, I love the reason it was started! Will definitely make this place a habitual stop.

Nexus is a great downtown coffee shop. If you feel like drinking good coffee, sitting in a corner or at the window on a laptop and working or surf online it's fantastic. You'll leave feeling energized and cooler for having gone. They really nailed the cozy/hip balance.

I love that the place was founded by a local dad and daughter. One of the two has been working everything I've been there and the service is over the top. Coffe is fair trade and delicious. It taste better than Starbucks by far and is much cheaper too. The general atmosphere of the place is worth mentioning too. It's very warm and lively and everyone that I've brought to Nexus had enjoyed it from the moment they walked in until they took their last sip of gourmet coffee.

Not just another stop on the Little Rock coffee shop tour... good enough to stop in twice! The entire staff here is friendly and approachable, even going so far as to suggest drinks to those who are unsure. The space here is well utilized with barstool/counter spaces, couches, tables, and even a meeting room with table and TV! Plenty of space to suit your needs. The coffee comes from a local roaster that carefully sources their beans, providing great quality in every cup. I really like having the Chemex option for a pour over, and it's very reasonably priced. I forgot what it's called, but I had what was essentially a breakfast quesadilla, and every bite was more magical than the next. Finally, I really like how they feature different artists with work for sale on the walls, making for more interesting scenery.

This is a fantastic coffee shop. The folks at Nexus really know their coffee. Far higher quality than your standard Starbucks or similar coffee shop. The atmosphere is very friendly with couches and chairs you're free to spend your time on. My girlfriend and I went there and got drinks and played connect four and battle ship both of which they had at the cafe for people to play. If you're in downtown Little Rock highly recommend you stop by Nexus.

Honey lavender latte is sooooo good. This place was hopping on a Sunday- we will definitely be back to try other things, including the food, that looked amazing. Hubby had the cinnamon seasonal and it was super tasty. The espresso drinks here are smooth- the espresso isn't over roasted and the milk isn't scalded (like some name brand chain places).

I walked in, having never been there before, and the atmosphere is immediately inviting! The staff was incredibly sweet and very helpful to answer any of my questions. I tried our cashier's recommendation, and it was delicious. The Wi-Fi connection is wonderful, the seating is comfortable, and the board games that were available were some of my favorites. I almost bought one of their trendy T-shirts that read, "Nexus and Chill!" I will definitely be going back soon to get it, and another latte!

To start, great coffee... I personally find going to a coffee shop about as smart as paying for bottled water, but it's good enough that I keep going back, and it's not too expensive... It's also pretty laid back, not a bunch of pretentious hipsters, which, for a coffee shop, is a nice change... Also local art and events, plus free wifi.

Been taking the Little Rock coffee shop tour and hit this gem today. Atmosphere is very pleasant and music selection was on point. Coffee was outstanding and prepared with care by the super friendly barista. Food is priced fairly and better than the average items at other places. They also have a points reward system for purchasing items so definitely worth frequent stops. A must stop for your dose of caffeine.

Very friendly staff, decent selection of coffee and desserts, and deceptively large modern space that can easily accommodate larger groups. House drip is from a local roaster and they have both medium and dark blends. Only real con is price. At $2.45 for a medium drip it is more expensive for less coffee than Blue Sail down the street.

Wow, great coffee, and incredible ambiance. I walked in to this coffeeshop on a trip and was incredibly impressed by the atmosphere. I told some friends of ours who used to travel to Little Rock about this place and they told us “yes 8+ years ago we used to go to that shop every time we were in Little Rock.” So this is a great place and has been that way for a long time. Also my wife just loved her vanilla frappe.

I tried their nitro coffee shortly after it first opened a few months back and was impressed with the blueberry brew (which was seasonal). I wasn’t impressed with their regular nitro brew, as it was overly bitter. The interior of the shop had a nice vibe. The barista that served me was kind and helpful. Parking is a nightmare, especially if you’re visiting the area just for coffee.

It's a neat interior design but that's about the most interesting aspect of Nexus. The coffee falls flat; left me feeling disappointed. There's a nose, and some taste in the plate. There's no finish. I'd like it to a premium line of Folgers (it's just coffee, not good coffee). The owner (presumably, older guy who acted like it was his place) is also less than amiable. He will bump into you as he walks past, neither say excuse me nor sorry. I'm not going back. I will go to Mylo Coffee

And this has happened all 5 times I have been therefore I consider that their regular attitude and not just a bad day. Nice atmosphere, plenty of space to work. If you don't care about coffee or the way your drinks taste you'll enjoy this spot. We ordered the spiced apple chai, matcha latte, and a cream cheese danish. The danish was over heated and couldn't be eaten till we were halfway through our drinks. This wouldn't have been that annoying if it wasn't for the poor quality of the drinks. The chai was hot apple cider with a boatload of cinnamon, simply a chai flavored froth on top. The matcha was missing honey... something most places add to their matcha to sweeten it up. Over all very dissapointing.

I don't know much about the Little Rock coffee scene, but I do know coffee. This place is pretty fantastic, they have some light food options (the scones are pretty amazing), and right across from the River Market there are a plenty of shaded spots to enjoy on the Arkansas River Trail.

Friendly atmosphere, good quality coffee and nitro coffee. Insanely good wifi with download speeds around 100 Mbps and upload speeds around 250 Mbps. Try the blueberry nitro or Arnold palmer nitro for a tasty caffeinated drink that hardly resembles coffee. Try the Caranilla for a high caffeine drink during study time. Overall very pleased with this coffee shop.

My wife and I were walking yesterday in the Rivermarket District of Little Rock, and came across Nexus Cafe, and checked it out. Very warm, comfortable atmosphere. Your choice of big comfy chairs or couches, or tables, or the window seat counter. We chose the window counter to people watch. My wife had cappuccino and I had a latte. She had their freshly made chicken salad on pita, and I had their breakfast bagel (pruciutto, cheese, big tomato.). They were both excellent, as was the coffee! Price was good. Very personable and knowledgeable staff, and they explained that they are creating a creative hub for coffee, and wine/beer, by the way, and food while experiencing live music or poetry on some nights, and trivia contests or other events on others. Great location, just down the street from the Rivermarket building itself and just a block from the convention center. We plan to go back and check out one of the live music nights; and stop for coffee whenever we're downtown.
