We had a very bad experience yesterday, March 21st, 2019. The service was extremely poor, as we had to ask for a napkin, knife and fork. Then the food was questionable. About 20 minutes after we left, I had severe diarrhea! My husband didn’t have that problem, so it must have been my salad, because he didn’t eat a salad. We will never return to that place!

The food was really good. The service on the other hand was terrible. It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks but we weren't the only ones. The same thing happen to the people behind us. I also heard other customers get there orders wrong or not cooked right. But the manager seemed to get it solved. The Waiter needs more training on what should come first to the customers.

The atmosphere is charming, however, we were told the wait was 20-25 minutes and we waited well over 45 minutes. They were severely understaffed and therefore unable to use the other half of the building. The staff that was present were really nice and apologized repeatedly, but when the staff has to apologize repeatedly to you - that is not a good sign! The cappuccino, brochette trio appetizer, & muffin were good! My quiche was not so good. The crust was not crispy and it felt and looked microwaved. It was not a pretty plate! Long wait, overall poor tasting food, and not worth our time or money. Unfortunately, we do not intend to ever eat here again.

I will never eat there again. It was after Thanksgiving so I only wanted a small salad while I was shopping. I guess it made the waitress mad because she wouldn’t get a big tip. My mother ordered the pick three with a grilled cheese; soup, and dessert. We waited about an hour and half to be served. The entire room had been served. When my salad finally came, it was on half of a small salad plate and was pushed to one side of the plate with about 6 pieces of lettuce. I was shocked. It took me about 3 minutes to eat it. Also, another waitress came out with water and asked if we had the Latin waitress which I thought was quite odd. And then she whispered to another waitress. My mother and I continued to be nice but the waitress wouldn’t give eye contact. I have never been treated like this anywhere. I won’t be back and I live near and shop at Pinnacle frequently.

Love eating here - I don’t get to this place in Kentucky so when I visit Vegas I have to eat here. Always great atmosphere and good service. Some of the wait staff know how to keep your glass filled without asking. Food does not disappoint.

I shop in Henderson, NV. With a couple of friends. We pick a place to have lunch at the half way point of the day. On this day we thought the food and services the last time we ate there was so good we would try it again. Same server, different area same food choice for each of us. Server didn't remember us and we said nothing. Food was just OK, two of us ate salads (lettuce was old and had brown spots on the leaves) one had a sandwich.Service was slow. Had to ask for bread, it was put on table with attitude. Drinks were not refilled. We won't go back for a long time. Sad because the first time was so good.

Normally I like Mimi's for the good menu selection, today not so much. A 20 minute wait with open tables available, at least 10+. We were there for brunch so not at a time when they are typically slammed. The slightly longer wait for food was explained by all of our food being cold and the kids chicken strips over cooked. I understand that it is often not the servers fault, with a help wanted sign welcoming guests, I suspect that this restaurant is understaffed both in the kitchen and on the floor. Don't take the online survey unless you want to waste 20 minutes of your life.

Ordered appetizer chicken on a stick w/peanut sauce, not compatible nor cooked long enough. Cheesy flatbread wasnt fresh, nor was the small pieces of bread for the dip(ok). My friend ordered shrimp/spinach salad said dressing was horrible & shrimp was undercooked. Never offered refills on water or how our food tasted! Heard good things about other mimi's from friends, however this one didnt "cut the mustard!"

We have eaten at this restaurant in the past and had a good experience, but after this trip we will not be returning. Steaks were just, "Okay". Not much flavor. I guess that is why they bring steak sauce without you asking. My medium steak was cooked fine. My wife's steak was overcooked. My steamed broccoli was ice cold and I had to ask for a replacement. Waitress was very friendly, but very overwhelmed. Had to get her attention when we needed something. Drinks went dry twice. It took a very long time to get our food and they were not busy. To top it off we had to wait what seemed like forever for our check. We finally told the waitress we had to hurry so she got us taken care if. We were simple underwhelmed and although we live nearby, we will not be returning.

Went here on a busy Friday evening for a nice last dinner with family before flying back home. Was greeted and seated within minutes, got a nice and quiet booth and service very quickly. Server was a nice young man who attended our needs efficiently and without delay. We each ordered something different off the menu with offered a great variety of choices! We have not been to a Mimi's since moving from California and I must say what a delightful experience we had on this occasion. Staff even obliged to take our photo for us before we left. I wish there was a Mimi's in Ohio where we live now!

Great food, good service, we weren't bothered very much until the mother next to us decided to ignore her screaming child, and the father finally took it outside! Some people just shouldn't have kids, or raise them right, and then take them out! I do usually enjoy coming here! But this is Hendertucky, and I knew that moving here, but damn, Lady, has some self respect! Again, great food, with good service, which is hard to find in this town, if other people just don't ruin it for ya.

My husband, some friends and I went for brunch on Sunday. The mimosas are tasty and reasonably priced. This is one of the few restaurants that has turkey sausage, and it's wonderful. The two-egg breakfast with the turkey sausage and toast is just enough to fill you up without being excessive. Their waffles are amazing and the wait staff, especially Brandy, is professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this!

I'm not sure why but Mimi's Café is one of my favorite chain restaurants. The decor and atmosphere just makes me feel comfortable. The menu is comforting as well.... there's something for every mood or craving and everything i've had at Mimi's was good. Brunch/lunch/dinner — they do it all well! The staff is also great. We've never had a bad experience. We always leave satisfied and happy (food & portions good, price good, staff friendly, etc).

I always want to love this place. I've been here probably 5 times with my girlfriend. She loves it. Every time the appetizers (muffins, croissants) are delicious. However the entrees are always extremely lacking. I got a chipotle breakfast burrito which had all kinds of things on/in it. I get it and it's just a bit of salsa on top, a flavored tortilla, and literally all eggs/sausage on the inside. It was extremely disappointing and I feel like it's always this way. The service has always been great. I've never had a complaint about that. Service is always spot-on, courteous, helpful, and awesome

I ordered a fairly large catering order from Mimi's for my office's Christmas party. They made sure the process went smoothly, even after some confusion regarding some sides. Everything was ready right on time and there wasn't any issues. The manager and one of the chefs (I'm assuming, not sure if he was a chef or not) even followed up with a phone call to ensure that everything was good. Plus, when I've eaten there before it was always good food and good service.

We must have been at a different Mimi's Cafe than all these five-star raters. First visit for me and second for DW and we'll never return. Absolutely horrible server and wait times! Came around 3 for a late lunch and there were no more than five tables occupied. After being seated and given our ice water, it was another 10 minutes before our thoroughly incompetent waitress arrived. It went downhill from there. She took our order and said she'd bring bread but after 10 minutes my wife had to ask the other waitress (there were only two) and she brought it right away with a smile. Hmm, can we change servers, I thought to myself? Twenty minutes after ordering, our food arrived and the food is why I give it two stars. Nothing to write home about but it was good with ample portions. But no waitress most of the time in a virtually empty restaurant - we felt like we were invisible.

The menu is lacking in healthy items and the French inspiration is mostly in breakfast items: french toast, quiche and high calorie crepes. The menu does not reflect that French cuisine can be pretty healthy.

We experienced THE worst service from TAMMY at this location. Me and 4 coworkers had brunch here and we were in complete shock. Tammy was out server, who apparently was having a bad day. The food was great, no complaints. I ordered a Mocha Iced coffee that wasn't sweet but did the job. The pumpkin spice muffin was amazing. After she took out order a few seconds later someone wanted to add a plate and the look on her face read a very noticeable ANNOYED look! Once she brought the bill, we realized bot everyone had cash and we needed it split up. A friend walked up to the register and asked to split it and she blatantly rolled her eyes, took a deep breath and shrugged her shoulders saying that it would take time. Our entire party seen her have such attitude for asking to split the bill. Keeping in mind there were only about 3 other tables at this time, they weren't busy at all. Management should be very embarrased to have a person with this level of customer service working behind them. I will never dine here again.

Decided on Mimis for a dinner date with my wife as we haven't been in a while. It was Very slow and the waitress was on top of everything. However, the menus had a variety of spilled drinks or food items on them, the first bread plate she brought out was filthy and after having my finger stick to my glass after a sip we were done. Understandable to have maybe an item or two be dirty but when it goes accross the board its telling of the general attitude towards cleanliness. Then, upon talking to the mgr he just stared at us as if we were lying. Its not as if we got our food then ate it Then said something to get out of the bill. Our appitizer had Just arrived when we requested our check to go and went untouched. NEVER AGAIN.

Fantastic place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They do not have a large selection of dinner entrees, but you don't need it with their extensive breakfast and lunch menus. All their food was fresh and wholesome. Even their mussels, in landlocked Arkansas, were delicious. I recommend the $5 specialty mimosas during happy hour. Their wait staff was friendly and quick to help with the order. My only complaint is how dim the restaurant was. I could barely see my plate. Their pricing is moderate with lunch dishes ranging from $7 to $12. Breakfast $3 to $8. Children are allowed, however, I do not recommend ones in high chairs since the isles are crowded.

I have yet to come to Mimi's on any holiday where they haven't been severely understaffed. I'm actually still in my booth as I type this and it's been an hour and ten minutes since we received our water and placed our order. No bread to start off, and no water refills. In fact the table next to us got their food, ate, and paid their check before we even got our meal, which as of now has still not arrived. If my mother in law didn't want to keep waiting, I would have left 30 minutes ago. I can honestly say I tried several times to enjoy my time here at Mimi's, but it's impossible. Recommend action : Find staff that is dependable.

We came here to try something new and the atmosphere walking in was great. The wait staff was attentive, professional, and explained the specials and food items. Our biggest shout out goes to the manager on duty. Lauren checked up on us several times and was very active on the floor. They also take care of their first time visitors with complimentary muffins as we were paying our bill. We'll be back for sure!

As soon as we were walking to our seat we could smell propane very strong. We mentioned it to our waiter and he said he would let the manager know. After 15 min we mentioned it again and asked our waiter if he had said anything to the manager, he said no I haven’t yet. After 30 min most everyone at our table had a slight headache, burning eyes, and some were feeling nauseated. So we went and found the manager ourselves and she said they knew about the smell and it had been like that since she had started working there. Definitely not interested in taking my family back to a place that has some kind of propane leak that stinks up the whole restaurant and making people sick feeling.

The cooks do a good job and accommodate special requests as long as you are reasonable. The wait staff is competent and courteous. A busy atmosphere but not noisy and thank goodness no TVs on thre walls so you can have some quality interaction. We come here regularly

Mimi’s never disappoints. I always eat breakfast, no matter what time of day I go, so I can’t comment on anything else. Their pancakes are light & fluffy. Their hot chocolate is delicious & it comes in a huge cappuccino mug. Yummy! You can also make a reservation to secure your party a table.

Hate the change in menu for the quiche. It tasted good and cooked properly for a change. For the same price it no longer includes a salad and muffin, just 3 tomato slices. I don't mind paying a fair price but theirs are now out of line. It wasn't that busy but had to wait to be seated so the kitchen could catch up. Were there on a Wed about 12:30. Server was very nice.

On my Vegas trip went to Mimi's and had the best server. Crystal is her name and she was a true jewel. She served us with smiles. Ordered the Salmon salad which was a nice cut of grilled salmon with beautiful lettuces, no romaine, and strawberries and tomatoes. It was delicious and I chose the buttermilk spice muffin which was to die for. It was the best muffin I've ever had and it was served hot. Also I can't not mention the Madeline's that come to the table. They are always do good. We took someone home. Thanks Crystal!

Visiting from out of State. Our service was excellent. My husband ordered a burger which was good. I ordered a cup of French onion soup (which was good) and a sandwich. It was a ham sandwich with cheese melted on top and was supposed to have a mustard of some kind on it. It was terrible. Very dry. In fact the 3 bites I took of it I dipped in the soup in order to swallow it. Our waitress brought the check and told us the manager had taken the soup off our bill (ironically the least expensive item on the check); not the sandwich that was terrible and uneaten. Poor management move in my opinion. A good manager would have taken off the food that was poor quality and returned to the kitchen. Poor management is why establishments go out of business and can’t keep good help. There were only a handful of tables eating on a Friday night. Another sign of poor management

I should have read the reviews. I usually do but forgot this time . Service was super slow. My French dip was just cold roast beef on a roll. French onion soup was super salty. My friend had the tuna melt. She was not impressed. At least hers was edible. My chocolate parfait tasted exactly like my mom's chocolate Jello. We have been past this place many times, and from now on we will keep driving and searching for something tasty.

Took my wife there roughly 2 weeks ago on a date, walked in the place, was nice, very slow on a Saturday night. The waiter was cool very attentive to us, make sure we had you know our drinks and everything else like that, he had a good personality. Unfortunately the food was not that great my wife and I were definitely underwhelmed in regards to flavor. I think in about a month or two we will try it again. Then a decision will be made.

Went to dinner with family today and was a bit disappointed. Four of our party of 10 wanted mussels and they were out. ( that was the main reason we chose to dine there) . One kids meal did not have a item ordered and had to pick something else . One order was to include fries and did not get them until we were done eating. They were very short staffed. Our poor server has 3 large parties to wait on in 2 different rooms. Our server did the best possible to take care of all the customers. I feel management should have made sure to have enough food to meet the demand of what is advertised. ..especially on a weekend. They also fell short on staffing the restaurant. Probably the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. Also, the AC was very cold. Our food wasn't very hot to begin with, and by the time our group was served it was cold.

The food took 36 minutes long before they came out and all we ordered was an omelette, a pancake, and 2 sandwiches and we were the 3rd table that arrived at 5 PM. Food was mediocre for all 4 of us and the bill was $70. Soft drinks are almost $4?

Really sad about Mimi's. I remember when they first opened in Las Vegas back in 1998. Being a native of CA it was like a little piece of CA coming here. I was so excited. I loved Mimi's at that time. They had an excellent menu of choices, it was always clean, service was excellent. There was always a waiting line out the door all the time for good reason! Then all of a sudden it all disappeared. Their food is bland, their floors are dirty, their service is to be desired. It's sad. Hoping they will turn it around.

Our waitress was Maria and she is amazing! Anyone who can strike up a conversation by reading the person really is a peoples person. She goes along with jokes if you were to come at her with one and she is very thorough in taking orders, making sure what you are ordering is what you really want. Not everything on the menu has a picture, but allow her to give you a visual of your order and you'll be enticed by what you hear. Even better,when your food arrives, you'll be glad you allowed her to share her knowledge. Everyone else is friendly and the atmosphere here is just like home! High price for low quality food. Waited 20min to be seated when there was only a party of 2 seated in the entire restaurant. Witnessed a waitress being extremely rude to a lady from grub hub. Showed signs of establishment going out of business in the near future. Very disappointed as I had my first date with my wife then took her back couple years later to actually purpose to my wife. This latest experience just happened to be my 1 year anniversary so it was sad to be let down like this. Ended up at Red Lobster where the food and service is actually worth the money.

Pleasant atmosphere with nice background music at the proper volume level. You can actually hold a conversation. Menu was quite large with a good number of "new" and seasonal offerings. Food took a little while to be served but that was part of the French ambience. It also signaled to me that my food was prepared fresh. Now whether it was or not is another matter, but to me it tasted delicious and skillfully made. It was after the lunch rush so I would imagine the staff was a little off their game since our dishes were all still on the table after the meal was finished. I asked for a complimentary coffee. It was not very complimentary as it didn't say one nice thing to me plus it cost me $3.49. It was fresh and delicious though. Bathrooms were clearly marked as was the kitchen. The fixtures in both rooms were quite different. Ladies elegant and gents utilitarian. Leaving I walked through the restaurant and was surprised as to how large it was. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Last night we ate at Mimi’s on Stephanie. The food was delicious. I had the Honey glazed salmon and my husband had the Jambalaya. Mimi’s new menu has many excellent choices, though the vegetarian dishes are limited. Our server, Rafael, was a pleasant young man with a wonderful smile. He was professional, patient and attentive. He made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Since this last review my husband and I have been back to Mimi's several times. Though the last time we were disappointed in the music, as always the service and food were wonderful. I hope they go back to playing French music in keeping the ambiance.

I wanted to get my Louisiana fix, so we went to Mimi's Cafe for dinner. The service and staff was much improved compared to the last time we were here about a year ago. The waitress, Ashley, was amazing and kept on top of her tables effortlessly while always being very polite. I got the Jambalaya with penne pasta and my significant other got the Salmon dish. The food was amazing, and had great flavor and spice, while being tender enough to just melt in your mouth. After the excellent meal, we also opted for dessert, and had the Crème Brûlée and French Silk Slab Pie. The silk slab was to die for, and extremely rich and worth going in just for that. I can definitely say that we'll be coming back for more!

I decided to stop in and get a four pack of the carrot Walnut raisin muffins there was no one at the podium and there was two ladies ahead of me and had been there for quite some time they told me and no one was at the podium to seat them. It almost seemed like the skeleton shift. Once the ladies were seated the gentleman with glasses ask me table for one I said no I just want to take out order he says will you have to go over there, I went he showed up and took my order the sign said any four muffins $8. He rang them up at$9. I showed them the same right beside the muffins and he says well that's not what it is I said one thing you need to change that sign because it's false advertisement. This did not leave a good taste in my mouth.

We love their pot pies! Been here a few times. The Thai chicken wrap is awesome! The spicy peanut sauce that comes on the side tops it off!! Really yummy! The kids portions are a good amount! A nice place to go for a variety of foods. They offer a pick 3 and pick 4 option if you want to taste a variety of foods that they offer. The specialty muffins for desert are huge and delicious.

My wife and I have been eating at Mimi's since they opened. This year we tried their Thanksgiving "take home" Feast. Mimi's donates meals to the Children's Hunger Fund for every feast purchased. We weren't surprised to find out the turkey dinner was really great tasting. The turkey was one of the best we've had. All of the side dishes were tasty too. If they offer this again next year, we'll be back.

Unbelievably freezing inside. Why do you need the a/c that cold? I did like what i ordered but my husband didn't really care for his. All of the staff were excellent in every way. Wear long pants and a sweatshirt!

My complain is over the food, The food was purely phenomenal sents theyve changed and extended the menu from when i first went there about a year ago. Though i went back for the second time today with a close friend, it being their first time at this restraunt. At first everything was fine, food was good, it was brought quickly, appitizer before the main course. Though as we were paying, and let this be in mind, Im 17 and my friends 16 and today was just a treat for us both by our guardians providing the money before they left, and we payed, left and went outside to take a couple pictures before the waiter who waited us came out and said and i quote "You should know that i get paid only 2.60 an hour and that /shouldve/ tipped because i dont earn much" Which is understandable of course we really wanted to tip her but we didnt have anything left us that would make much of a dent for her, couple cents is about all i had on me at the time and after that, So i get it, though, she came at us one very aggresive, and two very VERY unprofessionally, the waiter didnt know what our financial issues are and neither do we. As well as when me and grandparents came here the first time it was almost the same issues, A salty staff and slow service. Other than the manager of mimis cafe handle it very very well. Id also like to add i checked Mimis cafes minimum wage for hostess and Servers, Serves were 11 an hour as hostes were 9.

I rarely give 5 stars but this placed earned it! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and cozy. There is something for everyone on the menu and food is good to great. Really reasonable prices for food as well. I highly recommend trying for lunch or breakfast.

The last three times I ate at Mini's I was disappointed. Tonight I tried their new special, the Plat Du Jour, which was their pot roast for $9.99. I added a side of garlic spinach for $1.99 and I tipped 20% for good service. The meal which was accompanied with a complimentary bread basket was surprisingly good. I thought the meal was a good value.

This was my first time visiting Mimi's Cafe. After I was seated, I recieved a complimentary basket of bread which included Carrot and Walnut mini muffins and a warm French baguette which was very tasty. Since I was in the mood for shrimp, I asked which shrimp dishes were recommended. I ended up ordering Shrimp, Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya which consisted of a generous portion of shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage, red and green peppers, and onions in a French Basque region-inspired tomato sauce with long grain rice. The dish had a spicy tomato and pepper flavor which I couldn't stop eating. For dessert I had a Chocolate Custard Petite Parfait. This was a creamy chocolate custard with a thick whipped cream topping which was very rich and a nice end to this spicy meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend and I plan to return. I'd also suggest that the wait staff make customers aware of the salad and soup options when ordering.

Spacey waitress...very sweet but just kept forgetting things then left us sitting for over 20 mins to get our change from our bill....definitely did not deserve an 18 dollar trip for a 23.00 meal

Went in for breakfast today and was very happy with our service. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was great and attentive. The chef came out and asked us how the food was and was very nice. He filled our drinks and even took our empty plates. We were very pleased with today’s service.
