We stopped by for some drinks and appetizers, did not realize we'd be having drinks at the best place in town. The bartender, River, was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and was willing to explain the drinks to us. I will definitely be coming back next time!

After researching some new places to eat in Eureka, we decided on.Local Flavor. There was about a 20 minute wait for a Tuesday night but was worth it. I had scallops with risotto and my husband had a filet They were both perfectly prepared and delicious. We were able to sot on the outside patio and it was a beautiful night. Our server did an amazing job taking care of us without being overbearing but still attentive. Will do this place again our next visit to Eureka Springs.

If you haven’t tried this place it is a must ! We ordered the chicken parm, the New York strip annndddddd the SHRIMP STUFFED AVOCADO !!! I had to capitalize that because oh my lord that was out standing! I mean wow! The atmosphere is local upscale with a nice outdoor patio. A nice place to unwind and have a grade A meal !

But please be advised this is not an in and out restaurant, this is for casually hanging and drinking with company so the food is evenly spaced to come out at different times! When we walked in for lunch the place was packed, so it's popular. The burger was excellent. The goat cheese salad with grilled chicken was ok, it could have been more alive with flavor, a little more dressing, and the chicken was slightly overcooked. The fish tacos were good, but left me wishing I'd ordered a burger, it was missing flavor. The crab cakes were very fishy, unusually fishy, and not pleasing. Bottom line, this chef has a lot of room for improvement. My wife makes much better food at home, with flavors that accentuate each other and pop.

Absolutely outstanding dining experience in a historic town setting. They brew there own excellent sangria as well as offering other beer, wine and spirits. Food is absolutely fantastic having been well prepared and served. Wait staff are excellent being very pleasant and informative. We had lunch there while visiting Eureka Springs and had a very enjoyable experience. An excellent bargain!!

Local flavor cafe is located in the heart of downtown Eureka springs. The food served comprises of burgers, sandwiches, salads and specials. It is a lovely joint and is usually crowded because of their reputable name and attentive service staff. It also has a bar and has a wide selection of alcoholic beverages.

Good location, good service, but the portion size is inconsistent, and the food is more expensive than it's worth. The Chicken Milan was okay, but the chicken was dense and overcooked, and more than one serving. By contrast, the Sweet and Spicy shrimp was $24 for six shrimp and a quarter cup of rice. This is a good place to go for cockyails, but not meals.

It was just ok. Service was slow and food was edible. I had the encrusted goat cheese salad which wasn't too bad but not great, my husband had the shrimp scampi and all I will say is don't waste your money. The lunch menu is so much better than the dinner menu compared to selections and prices. So I suggest you hit them up at lunch!

Food was good but had one complaint. We were celebrating a friends Birthday and had brought a birthday cake to have after dinner but the waitress said that the manager said they would charge us $4.00 each to eat our own cake. I have never heard of that. Disappointing.

It wasn't horrible but there was so much wrong here. Got 3 things wrong on our order including almonds on the baked brie when I specifically mentioned I was allergic to almonds. The filet was cooked poorly. The grits and potatoes were wonderful. The rest of the food was pretty good. Super loud and crowded but I liked the decor. Disappointed especially for the price.

Dressed up for our wedding anniversary expecting a great ambiance for the prices on the menu...... NOT what we got. More like a bar and grill with fancy food prices. If you wanted bread with your meal it was extra. The pork tenderloin was D R Y. The Chicken on the Alfredo (which was THE BOMB GOOD) was an upcharge and the service was good but sporadic. The drinks and dessert were the best part of the meal. This was an experience I wont repeat.

We chose this place because it appeared to be a higher level of dining: casual with creative drinks and dishes. The food was tasty, but the atmosphere was like a Chuck E. Cheese -- unsupervised, shouting kids. We and at least one other table of diners asked management to kindly request the table to lower the decibels, but management REFUSED. Several diners, including us, left early. So if you're looking for a restaurant who values customers, this isn't it. They will gladly deliver a bill, and the food might even taste great, but if you want the staff to care about your experience, this isn't the place.

Okay, so my companion told me that Eureka Springs had some of THE BEST food I would ever enjoy. The food at Local Flavor is incredible. We ended up dining there twice in only a few days. The crab cakes, baked brie, and filet were scrumptious. I won't go to Eureka Springs again without visiting Local Flavor - at least once!

She was nice enough, but we ordered 2 specials when we ordered our appetizers. We were half way through our appetizers when she came out to tell us they were out of specials... ugh! My friend and I were visiting downtown eureka springs this past Friday evening and this place was recommended by the locals. The name for this place should be called no flavors! We splurged and each ordered the kc strip with mashed potatoes at a $30 price tag, I added on mushrooms for an extra $5. The cut of the steak was awesome it was super thick, however it had absolutely no flavor it was like they didn’t even season the steak what so ever. We had to get a steak sauce (A1) so we could actually eat the steak. The mashed potatoes were also a joke, they’re box potatoes not even real, no butter, no salt, no pepper, no flavor! The mushrooms I had added on they flooded with whatever sauce they put on them as well I had to keep my steak out of it to keep from ruining it more. It was awful, I wish I would of just went and got a funnel cake around the corner for dinner than going here. Also our server, I believe his name was Denny was awful as well. He checked on us maybe 3 times, he was too busy worrying bout the other table he had of girls getting their drink on. I had to stop him and ask for our ticket for else he would of kept walking by. Bad service, bad food, will never be going back!

Ate here on our wedding day and was treated with complimentary dessert and champagne by the owners young son. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing. We truly enjoyed ourselves, loved the atmosphere, and the kindness and advice shared by fellow patrons and the young gentleman was beyond our imagination. The Hostess told us 20 minute wait. We waited for 30 and she told us another 20 minutes unless we wanted to sit at separate tables. We chose to go ahead and sit down and they took us to two four tops that were right beside each other. She wouldn’t let us put them together and wouldn’t tell us why. Even our server didn’t understand why we couldn’t put the tables together. Hostess was very rude when trying to speak with her again. The whole situation was handled poorly even after speaking to a manager. Food and waitress were great. Would probably come back but not with a group larger than four.

I visited here today and she forgot my bread and tried to charge me for it. The food was very good other than her not paying attention to that it was amazing the creme brulee was a lil warm on the inside and a good creme brulee is only warm on the outside. Great food- excellent service. A little pricey but that's Eureka, everything is. A Bloody Mary is priced right but even a mild one is spicy enough to make your throat bleed. We ordered two Bloody Marys and left one. We paid for both after mentioning it. If you don't drink Bloody Marys it's a great experience.

It was so loud in the restaurant we had to yell at each other at a table for four. Not an enjoyable experience inside the restaurant. Nothing to hold the noise down like table cloths or baffles on the ceiling. Could not tell you what we eat because it was just that loud. Felt sorry for the waitress who had to lean in and yell out the specials. Not sure if it's new management but don't remember this being such a loud place. Outside is always nice but rain prevented us from moving. Also note, had a reservation for 7:30 and was seated at 8:14.

A local reccomended this place for a nice dinner date, and we got exactly that. The spinach and artichoke dip was an amazing appetizer, and our waitress was very attentive and nice. We ordered the Milan chicken and the Salmon, and both of those were very tasty as well. The deserts were house made, and like everything else was very good and visually pretty. I highly recommend this place!

Decided to drop in for lunch after a recommendation from a woman working in the courthouse. We were not disappointed! The waitress was so very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious! I was hoping to have something a little lighter and was pleasantly surprised to see a menu filled with lighter foods. I enjoyed the turkey sandwich with avocado & swiss (instead of pepperjack). Our waitress insisted upon taking photos of us & persuading us to enjoy baked fudge as soon as she found out we had just gotten married down the street. Amazingly fresh, top notch cuisine in a friendly laid back atmosphere. As an example the special for Sunday Brunch was eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes ( my husband ate every morsel!) Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is so fun! They have a very great gluten free menu, including quiche! Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about food allergies. I will make a trip to town just for a meal here.
