Great service, reasonably priced with good selection. Great atmosphere, convenient to park. I had the bison meatball diner platter. The meatball (not my favorite dish in general) was very well prepared. However the side mash potatoes were way too rich and heavy. The vegetable side included stir fried green beans which were not previously steamed, resulting in them being hard and severely under cooked.

Came for brunch when I first moved here and it was amazing. Tonight was my third and final time coming for a non-brunch meal. The scallops were incredibly bland, nothing we ordered was hotter than lukewarm, and the lamb was too rare. Our drinks were weak, and the overall price too high for this kind of experience. I don’t think the “truffle fries” have even been in the same room as truffle oil. Wonderful staff and atmosphere, just severely lacking in non-brunch food. Have had similar experiences for the other non brunch visits. Warm your food!

Antonio...awesome waiter. He will give you the details on what is great. The mushrooms and drinks were wonderful. The 4bang plate was good. The iron skillet vegetable medley was just meh... Needed flavor and should have used asparagus instead of green beans...bland and too little chicken. After such good apps..this was a little disappointment even though it was featured twice on Rachel Ray... Nice staff and chef.

I don't know where to start but i will say im an out of towner whos will to take that 2hr drive just to eat her an honestly a major part of that reason is the staff specifically one person in general our first tome dinning here was about 2 1/2 months ago an we had the most charismatic rambunctious funny sweet person severing us possible she was fairly new but knew her stuff from refills to recommendations on deserts that would beyound please our pallets and my husband is a hard person to please especially when it comes to sweets he really doesn't care much for them but she sold us on everything we told her stock broking is her true calling lbvs we told her we we're from out of town and she also told us she was from Chicago which by the way we will be taking our family vaca in Chicago this summer she gave us plenty alsome tourist sites that we googled an fell in love with we came in today hoping to share our good news because we are in town for graduation weeked and noticed she finally made it into the kitchen she was doing pizza an told us it was only her 3rd time doing it alone and she seemed to really have nack for it which is why i order pizza today i had the shrimp one an it was amazing not to hard wwith just enough seasoning on the shrimp it didn't taste fishy an afterwards we were hoping to have a slice of the blueberry cheese cake but they were out but never fear mena was there with new york style original cheese cake with a blueberry compote to top it on an mite i add it was spectacular i have referred all my family an friends here an a few has come and completely agrees loca luna is where you need to be at least 3 times a month for us out of towners the food is exquisite the drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is refreshing and relaxing mena is definitely a keeper i hope the owner appreciates that

Stuffed grouper was great, the crab toppings were delicious! Kids pasta had a tasty marinara sauce. Loved the capers in both dishes and how paper was the table cloth, really entertaining for kids to draw. Hostess was fantastic at seating us and bringing color pencils. Do have to say pepperoni pizza was flaccid and way too salty. However, after living in LR for a year now, seems like this is pretty standard for pizza here. Good service and atmosphere.

My fiance and I hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Loca Luna. The manager, TJ, was friendly and flexible in helping me set up an event-specific menu for our dinner. The party room was set up very nicely and the food was amazing! The service was laid back and very accommodating. I highly recommend Loca Luna for lunch or dinner, and definitely for private dinner parties. They did a great job making our event enjoyable and memorable!

Nice atmosphere. Excellent food variety. Plenty of food. Tasty dishes. Presentation was okay, but it tasted good and there was plenty to eat. Prices were reasonable. Wait staff was quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful. Parking was little tight but had no problem finding a place. The place has a bar and serves everything from beer and wine to specialty drinks. There is outdoor seating in addition to indoor. Atmosphere was pleasant, lively but not so loud that carrying on a conversation at a reasonable volume was easy. Was pleased all around and will consider returning to try some of their other dishes.

Although the brunch menu is diverse, my experience was sub-par. It took a lengthy amount of time for a high-chair to be brought to our table. Upon ordering, I requested hard-scrambled eggs; however, when my plate arrived, the eggs were cold and not cooked as requested in addition to burnt bacon. I also noticed that the eggs had a subtle taste of seafood - due to a server shellfish allergy, I informed our server, Haley, yet she showed signs of micro-agression and seemed unhappy to accommodate my request for replacements all while combating that there's no way my eggs could have come in contact with any type of shellfish. She proceeded to take my entire plate though I assured her that she didn't have to - another individual returned with it and I tasted the eggs. In short, I could tell that the plate had just been warned and the bacon replaced because the eggs were the same AND my lips and fingers began to swell (as a result of coming in contact with shellfish). I can appreciate the menu, not the service. UPDATE: The manager, TJ, did resolve the issue in a professional manner. Due to his positive attitude, I am more open to coming here to give Loca Luna another chance.

Our Boss held our Christmas luncheon there today. We had appetizers, salad, and 5 entrees to choose from. The appetizer had steak that was so tender you could cut with a fork. The salad was fresh and crisp, The entree delicious.

They are consistently busy and full. Cozy and cafe-esque, this neighborhood spot retains sofistication in its service and menu offerings. Brunch here is a must, especially during the spring or summer, where you can enjoy their garden style patio. The case of desserts at the entrance is a key player in their menu so save room, it's worth it!

I give 3 star because food was awesome ,our server was fairly new but very helpful. i didn't give 5 because my pizza was more burnt than usual verses when me an my associates come to eat. the woman doing pizaa was very unprofessional, on the phone when we were waiting to be seated we tried asking her selections for different pizza, because i usually only get the pepperoni. on our way out the she was having a belligerent conversation swearing and more, not a good look for the business with someone like her up front where customers are greeted !!

Very laid back atmosphere. Great place to meet up with friends or even a business dinner. Margaritas were good and strong. Entrees are a little pricey due to the higher end, local product but they sounded delicious. I did apps and dessert. Can't go wrong with pork rinds in my opinion but their Thai dipping sauce and homemade pickles made them even better! The what stole the show was the crawfish étouffée cornbread... just get a double order of this and call it good! Trust me you won't regret it. Finished up with a great slice of carrot cake... cream cheese icing was a little sweet for me but I'm not a big frosting person and that's a bit expected of cream cheese icing.

Food, in the category of fine dining, is at about a 6 or 7. Chicken cordon bleu is large but filling is minimal. Grouper properly cooked but little flavor. Pork on bone was great. Portions are generous. Ambience is poor to good....accoustics very, very poor...a large group in the room made any conversation impossible. Not a place for a quiet upscale dinner if only for that reason.

The only thing I thought was good about my visit to this place was the cheese dip. Everything else was awful, waitress was no where to ever be found, it took us 15 minutes to get someone to even come and take our drink order. Then about another 30 minutes or more to take our food order. And my side salad was delivered to me after I received my main course. Not worth it! They charged way too much for my friend and I to split a meal. It’s ridiculous! I will never be back.

The food here used to be great and consistent. I used to love the gnocchi dish. Recently had a table of 18 co-workers who knew i bragged about this dish. 5 ordered it. The guy sitting next to me asked about finding them. 4 to 5 gnocchi hidden in the sauce that had mushrooms as an addition. Not mentioned on the menu and wasnt there last year when the dish was so good. Plus the Sunday brunch we went to had horrible service. Will never go back here.

Farm to table. It's means something. My girlfriend loved the decorations in the restaurant. Although the menu may lack some measure of sophistication in some regards, it totally delivers in terms of ingredients. I'm proud to see a chef in my home state (Arkansas) try to take on a concept as such that places value on supporting local farmers and sourcing of quality ingredients.

I ate here during lunch with a large group. Food was prepared in good time. Waitress was nice and polite. But the food was just average. Nothing stood out. The side dishes suffered from obvious cost cutting measures. I was disappointed in the lack of flavor in my dish. Burgers and Pizza were the better items.

When I read the menu I got real excited. Loca luna is good at talking up their meals. But I ended up being disappointed at what they actually delivered. I got trout with sautéed veggies. The trout was in between warm and luke warm and had cheese on it. The veggies were decent, but not too flavorful. We also got the queso appetizer. Which was yummy, but the salsa that it came with was closer to marinara sauce. The prawn and Bree quesadilla was pretty good, probably my favorite thing. I give them a 3 and not a 2 because our server was incredibly good at noticing when we needed refills. And because the food wasn’t bad, it just didn’t live up to the expectation that the menu set.

High Hopes Fall Flat My girlfriend and I stopped into Loca Luna yesterday (6/30/2018) right at opening. Neither one of us had been here before, but its well reviewed and comes recommended by friends. Unfortunately our entire experience was pretty crappy. The top shelf ultimate margarita was not very good. Places like Chuy’s are significantly better if margaritas are on your mind. The menu advertises craft beer, but the beer list is limited. Flyway Bluewing was the only thing on tap with flavor. However, if you’re a Beyoncé fan, they do have Yamazaki available for you to try. We ordered the combo cheese and salsa dip with chips. The cheese dip was good, with a nice spice appropriate for an appetizer. The salsa had an odd sweetness that you wouldn’t expect from a salsa and had zero spice but interesting flavor. I ordered the voodoo stew and my girlfriend ordered the bison meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and saffron rice. Despite being advertised as a spicy Jamaican broth the voodoo stew was completely bland. The cheese dip appetizer had more spice and more flavor than the stew. The Jambalaya soup from Campbells is better. My girlfriend’s meal was worse. The mashed potatoes and saffron rice were absolutely cold and nearly inedible, the meatloaf was warm (but not hot, or fresh) and bland. The mushroom-wine sauce was extremely thick (likely due to temperature) and overly sweet. We paid and left most of the food on the table. There was a large party beyond the door next to us (patio? party room?) that three trays of food went out to before ours came out. I wonder we just ordered at the wrong time and got stuck at the back of the food delivery queue. That would explain the cold food. If we were to make the trip back to Little Rock and come back to Loca Luna we would skip the salsa and chips and try either something else or the chicharrones & cheese dip for an appetizer. I would try the pizza or calzone instead of eating any of the other food. Two dishes with muted flavors scare me from trying anything similar to what we had. The environment is neat, and the place was clean.

Delicious food! Some of my favorites are: vegetable lunch plates (everything is good!), their pizzas, the parmesan flat bread they serve with their salads, the white cheese dip, everything on the brunch menu, the lunch specials and the frozen blue margaritas! YUM! The ONLY downside is the restaurant can be a bit noisy but that's true of many restaurants.

Barry took excellent care of us. We walked in at 1020, 20 mins after opening. We were seated quickly, received our bloody Mary's within a few minutes which were delicious and the food came out within about 10 minutes of ordering. We were on a bit of a time crunch so it was perfect. We had the migas and french toasts, both tasty but the French toast trumped the migas.

My wife and I went to eat at Loca Luna Tuesday night (1/26). As always, our meals were exceptional. I had a brick oven pizza and my wife had a chicken fried steak. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. This is the one restaurant I always take guests to that are from out of town. I can honestly say that we have never had a bad experience there. Every menu item we have tried has been really, really good - filets, pot roast, pizza, calzones, chicken fried steak, crab cakes, cheese dip, and various deserts - none have ever disappointed.
