Smaller portions than you would expect for the price. $12.99 for the smoked brisket plate and it was 1.5 slices of brisket and an small serving of beans. The smoked lightly fried chicken wings were amazing, however. Possibly the best chicken wings I've had, and 6 whole, large wings. Solid beer list, full bar, and a large patio area make this a great place to try out.

I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich. The first one they brought out was all wrong. So the second sandwich(grilled) the bread was soggy. Why do you ask because the turkey meat was microwaved with no cheese. I paid my $14.98 but will not patron there

The service from our waiter was great, but I noticed waiters walking around with personal items hanging from around there neck and waste. Notice staff not washing their hands. Need serving trays to place food and drinks on. Saw waiters holding glasses by rim and going from table to table with not washing hands this could cause bacteria transfer to others food or drinks. Food was good just didn't cook it like I requested but I would eat there again.

Worst food I've had in a long time !! My boyfriend got the brisket plate (comes with two sides) which had a good smoke ring but was the smallest portion iv ever seen (came with a slice of Texas toast, a small thing of Baked beans and coleslaw) I got the the 1/2 smoked chicken (comes with two sides) with green beans, and a sweet potato....the sweet potato (was sour, it smelled like BO) and the green beans were beat up pretty badly and were tasteless The waiter charged me twice for the sweet potato that was supposed to come with my chicken. He said "o gosh let me take the second one off" ran back inside came back out took my boyfriends card scanned it and didn't take either of the sweet potatoes off the ticket

Were seated at our table in an otherwise empty dining room and waited 10 minutes and were never acknowledged. Several staff walked past us and never made any contact. We were only acknowledged as we walked out. Hopefully customers in their reserved rooms fare better, because we were not impressed. Great music though!

The service was good. The manager was very nice and checked on us. The food is a little pricey for portion size. I ordered the catfish thinking it said 3 filets for 12.99 but I got 5 tiny pieces that were 2 or 3 bites each. My wife's nachos with pork were tasty. I hope they can increase the catfish portion size or they won't get many repeat orders at that price.

Went there for a 4th of July celebration took 20 minutes to order just a beer then not even 2 30 I get told they are closing and I have to leave. Keep in mind they didn't even open till 2. One positive thing is that my waitress was extremely friendly and told me all about the different events on different nights. Until I was kicked out I was planning on returning but now I wouldn't give them my business!

Me and my guy first time thought it was still U.S Pizza but instead hey glad we stayed. The manager greeted us right away, the brisket nachos was good and tasty, so was the chicken tenders and fries. We will be back again. Keep up the good work. Y'all got this!!!!!

Awful experience and customer service was truly poor. When we arrived for dinner, they were taking money for admission. I was taken aback because I was there for dinner and did not know there would be a cover charge. Once seated, unbeknownst to us there was mayonnaise on the tablecloth ....and it got on my cousin's dress. We made it known, and they came, made us stand and wait while they changed the tablecloth and seated us back at that table (other tables were available.) The television in our dining area overpowered our family dinner. When asked if they could turn it off or at least down... the young make waiter stated, "no honey... this is our reality tv show." This show was awful and in very poor taste, for example there was pitiful twerking in one scene, and scenes of the kitchen with dirty dishes in the sink. This was not something to watch over my dinner! When my plate arrived it was "scantily clad" with food, totally not worth the money paid, for sure! When we're got our tickets, they didn't even offer a discount on the food for my cousin who's dress was soiled by the tablecloth! So of course I asked, ....the waitress cance back and said the manager would only give her 10%, although paying to have the dress cleaned would have been more expensive.... so we took the discount never to return...

Wonderful place to eat! Fantastic food. I order the chicken tenders. The atmosphere is another reason we like to visit here... it's comfortable and relaxed. Such a unique place as well! Staff is friendly and accommodating! Hated to see the one in West Little Rock leave, but we will continue to make the drive to North Little Rock for Hawgz!

I was really disappointed with my first visit to Hawgz. You don't really get what you pay for. Also at the end of the meal, my honey ordered a piece of pound cake and we got a very small piece of cake in some aluminium foil that wasn't even a pound cake. It was a store bought butter cake! I will NOT go back to this restaurant! #WASTEOFMONEY

I've gone to this place twice now and really enjoyed the music both times, but i will never order food from them again. The first time we had a party of ten and it took an 35 minutes to get the first plate brought out, and he was finished eating by the time we got the 3rd plate. it took an hour before all the plates were brought out, so of course it's not having dinner together if i have to watch everyone else eat. The second visit, i never even got my food, and all i ordered was a Hot Dog, it took over and hour and it still never came out. I told an employee and she said to hold on and she Never came back, so i left. I may go back, but i don't suggest anyone go Hungry...:-(

I went for the 1st time and it was horrible! But the band was great and that's why I'm giving it another star. Unbelievable hot and they still were charging a full cover charge when there was no AC. It's also very small for a band to play in, so I don't think I'm gonna go back.

I have to admit that I do not give 5 stars lightly. I decided to take a road trip from Minnesota to Florida trying different foods and exploring different things. This place deserves 5 stars. I should admit that I have not had a lot of southern food, so this was a new experience. I have to say that I have not seen a day of Arkansas that has not had rain. So friends from the area took me out to a few restaurants in the area. I was not sure where we were going and then we pulled up to a hill. The building looked much better than other buildings in the area so I was glad that I was finally doing something a little more upscale then I was expecting. The building is very nice and while I am not sure if this is a southern look, it does have some characteristics of the Venetian in Las Vegas. I love the separate rooms so that you can have a different atmosphere in each seating area. Sitting down with a group, I was glad that the place was not that busy as we had a group of 6. Before everyone arrived though, we had a little fun. I asked the waitress to split a bowl of Gumbo since that sounded like a good starter and it was the first southern thing that I had seen. My friend explained that I am from Minnesota and had never had southern food. This is where everything started. The Gumbo was very good. I have never had Gumbo before but I recognized Andouille sausage. I love spicy foods so this was really helping me start out the perfect night. After finishing, the owner Kristian overheard that I was not from the area and that this was my first taste of southern food and he brought out a sample of ribs and also catfish. I love smoked foods and am never happy when anyone drowns meat in BBQ sauce. The ribs were the best ribs I have ever had. The second best was Ribfest in northern Minnesota. They were perfectly smoked, tender but not fall off the bone (I hate when they are just greasy, sat in water and fall off the bone), and they only had a small trail of BBQ sauce. These were perfect! Tender, smoked to perfection and only a small bit of BBQ sauce. Being from Minnesota, I eat a lot of fish. The fish from Minnesota normally has a fish taste and you need a sauce with it. No sauce needed! The catfish was breaded more with a rub than a breading. The spices were good and a hint of spice. Loved it. Since my friend had eaten here before and knew that I liked smoked foods, he recommended the Smoked Fried Chicken Wings. First off, these looked like an actual chicken wing. I hate how you get a small wing that looks like a chicken nugget at most restaurants. The wing was smoked to perfection, crispy (love the fried idea) and tastes great. I am going to try to replicate this in Minnesota with my smoker so I do not have to move to Arkansas. He was correct when I said that they were the best chicken wings. I ordered the Hawgz Blues Burger for my meal. When it arrived I should admit that I was almost full at this point. I was disappointed that the bun was a little smashed but it was still a good burger. I love burgers and I love heat. I was shocked that it did not have enough heat for me. While it was still a good burger, the fries were great as well. I like the hand cut fries as it is "like mom would make them" and brings about the idea of a healthy home cooked meal. My only recommendation would be to add another salad. Make it a signature salad with some smoked meat or something unique to the south. We ended up staying all night playing video games. This will be my must stop at in Arkansas.

The only thing that made our visit worth it was the friendly staff. Other than that, I would not recommend this establishment. I ordered the Kountry Fried Catfish Plate which stated it came with 3 fillets, fries & hushpuppies. Instead, I received 6 bite sized slices of what MAY have been catfish? More than half of the pieces of fish tasted raunchy and I was very disappointed. Probably the worst catfish I have ever been served at any restaurant. The second person in my party ordered a Brisket Sandwich, it ended up being more like a jerky sandwich as the brisket was overcooked (you could visibly tell it was burnt) and dry. The portions were not anything near what you would expect for the price point, $13 for a regular sized BURNT brisket sandwich and a few fries? We will not be giving them a second chance.

Over all 2 1/2 stars but it won't let me post that. Sat on the patio during happy hour / dinner time. The atmosphere was nice but the patio needed some cleaning.... weeding, twigs, and swept up. The food was very well priced for happy hour specials and tasted awesome. The happy hour drink prices we're a little bit lacking. $4.50 for a McLobe Ultra? The ladies bathroom was awful. Holes in the wall... unpainted... needed a good cleaning.

This place is the bomb! Super good food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Even my aunt loves this place! She likes the pork sliders, and I love the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. They make these great big wonderful french fries, which are always piping hot, and go perfectly with my sandwich. You can dine outside on the patio, near the fireplace, and watch the traffic go by. I think that is wonderful in the fall! Make sure you visit this place! I think you'll love it as much as I do!

Weird and expensive. The brisket was like rubber. There is no price on the sides and it says unlimited refills. They bring two hushpuppies and a half corn on the cob. At the end, they charged $2.99 for each different side ordered. $41 for two people to eat ok food for lunch. Fat Daddy's rocks and two people are stuffed silly for $22.

First and last time here. We were 1 of 2 tables in the whole restaurant. We were sat and they left to get our waters. Went on a Saturday night around 930pm was not busy at all. Food took longer than expected seeing as there was really no one there. Order a glass of wine and my wine glass was disgusting! There was lip smear across the top so much to where I could wipe the smear with my finger and it smeared more! Told my waiter and he acted as if this was not the first time this happened. He went to the bar and got my another glass more wine and my glass still wasn’t clear, but I didn’t have the lip smears so I didn’t say anything. It was as if the dishwasher didn’t run all the way. Now for the food.. my husband got a burger and fries... after one bite he said not good at all. It looked like a burger I could make at home. The fries were just cut potatoes you would make at home. Not impressed! Actually very disappointed! I got the potato skins. They looked like boiled potatoes that were cut and some of the meat of the potato spooned out and filled with cheddar cheese and they filled with queso served with a pico and sour cream. Not impressed! I like the concept, but every potato skin I have ever had has crispy skin and bacon! The BEST thing of the night was the DJ! DJmaul! Will go back for the live music!

So this place is fairly new. I had to meet a client for lunch and they suggested this place. I always love trying new places so I was like heck ya... So let's start off by saying the location and building are great. ( but that didn't help the previous restaurants). Also the menu is very limited... apparently they are still trying to figure out a full menu... my opinion they need to get this menu down before expanding it. Ordered the BBQ nachos while waiting for my client to show up. When they arrived the cheese dip that was drizzled over the chips was cold (left sitting to long waiting for pickup. The BBQ on the nachos was mediocre and full of fat and chewy pieces. So for lunch I ordered the catfish plate. This is the only thing that warranted this restaurant in getting the stars it did. The catfish was cooked perfectly and it had a nice breeding. The sides I choose was potato salad and coleslaw. Potato salad was good. (Ranch dip based) and the coleslaw was blah... to much mayonnaise and no flavor. Overall food was descent and the service was super slow. Waited 15 mins to pay the bill once the check was dropped off at the table. I hope this place improves or this location will be looking for another tenant.

However, when her plate arrived, she was told they were out of mac and cheese so they gave her potato salad. ANY other restaurant would have mentioned that they were out of an item before bringing out the plate, and they would have asked what other item would we like instead. We may give them another try, as my girlfriend raved about her first visit a few weeks ago.

This is the primo place in central Arkansas for award winning barbecue, entertainment and a great staff to take care of everything you want. The wings are the best you can absolutely find anywhere. My personal favorite choice would be the baby back ribs.

I heard this place was great from several friends/locals. But I suppose it's only around certain times AKA NOT dinner. I visited in a party of 5 on a Friday night for dinner. The server was friendly, but she stayed a little too long at her tables and it took at least 10 minutes to get our first drink then even longer for the next (would've ordered more drinks, but I was afraid it would take even longer).This may have been due to a backup at the bar. But when it was time for the check (2 people did join, so total of 7 of us) it was a total FIASCO. We all had to leave the table, follow her to the end of the bar, and stand there to tell her who had what. (I've served before and that shouldn't have happened with the simple orders we had). The building itself is beautiful with a random assortment of new, modern art and old, Southern decor. But, there were too many tables and not enough room. We were squeezed, and I do mean SQUEEZED, in there so tight (even with the 2 joiners, the table was already set for 6 and it was squeezed from the get go). Lastly, the food was mediocre. I sampled the grilled cheese, fried chicken tenders, chicken nachos, and fried catfish. The french fries were the best part of the whole food experience, which was the side for almost every meal. I live close by, so I was hoping we could make this our new spot. But I'll make the trek and spend my money elsewhere after my first and last experience.

Food was good but lacked presentation. Nice place but a little confusing since decor is Mediterranean so it doesn't feel like Blues as expected. And need to take down the Christmas decor, make it look cheap. Service was good and attentive, manager also Checked on us and other guests. We missed the live band they had earlier but DJ was good. Overall, it was a good casual place and I'd go back.

Hawgz Blues Cafe was amazing! We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday. The staff has excellent customer service and the food was delicious! It was my first time there and I plan to make it one of my favorite restaurants because of the pleasent environment, good food and excellent staff. Thanks
