REVIEWS OF Doomsday Coffee and Roasterie IN Arkansas

D Xo

Got a medium latte and it was good. The coffee came thru the milk and the flavored syrup. Latter was hot but I should have said I wanted 170 for my temp. Interior is very unique and adds to the experience. Veteran owned and that's great but that's it. (My opinion is if you claim this be a leader or provide something to the vet for it is just for gain) Updated: my review was positive thus the four stars. I gave you an opinion and got a preaching. I sat in your place for a while and as a vet I didn't see what you replied. I seen the image you conveyed to me. My knowledge is from a standpoint of having owned a coffee shop and working in retail for the last 14 years. I will keep the four stars as a review.

Jerry Perez

This place is fantastic! Lavender coffee is on point. The salsa is actually spicy with a good bite. Breakfast tacos and burritos are filling and wonderfully made. I've yet to have a bad experience here. Great place to relax and plan the day by yourself or with friends.

Nick Rody

I love this place. Everyone needs to go. Best coffee around no joke. I drink A LOT of coffee. Probably an unhealthy amount to be completely honest. On top of delicious COFFEE, not sugar milk and syrup, they serve tacos. Breakfast and lunch and they are really good. Like really really good. They also have great service. So stop messing around with Starbucks and 9 brew (which is gross) please try this spot out. You wont regret it.

Ashlee Zulch

Great coffee! Great setting! The environment is completely chill and wholesome. I LOVE the food, coffee, and people. Absolutely incredible and I recommend this BIG time. Very sweet and smooth flavors. The owner Jason was hustling around and made sure everyone was doing good with no unused plates and provided a perfect experience. The other employees were very sweet and quick! Food was hot and good. You gotta try those Tacos! It’s more than just coffee here

Shayne

Big plus, it's veteran owned and one of the best coffee shops around. Its not a corporate run, mainstream shop like those other fru-fru coffee shops that will not be named. Locally owned, friendly with a personal and comfortable feel. I love it and will only go here for made to order coffee................ best quiches i have ever had.

In-house roasting and winning customer service are just two highlights among many. The interior is industrial-chic and the music is eclectic and trendy; the pastries are delicious and priced fairly, not to mention daily specials that make them even more appealing; and their coffee is made with a community mission in mind. I won't buy retail coffee anywhere else, nor will I rate a coffee shop this highly without serious consideration. Thank you, Doomsday, for a great visit and amazing coffee.

Jamie Ingram

Brown sugar cinnamon latte was delicious. Their tamales are always perfect, and the breakfast tacos are the best!

Sarah McCrary

Good coffee and great tamales!

Crystal Farmer

Stopped in here out of curiosity and was already surprised at the menu. All sorts of flavor combinations for coffee as well as non-coffee beverages, a more extensive menu for food items than you would expcet from a small coffee shop, and they have soy and almond milks for those of us that can't have regular milk. Seeing the dairy free option was, for me, a huge plus as I didn't have my hopes up walking into a small place like that. The girl at the counter was really friendly and offered help to figure out what we wanted. I tried the London Fog tea with soy milk and it was sooo good (much better than if you ask for it at Starbucks in my opinion). The husband got a frozen lemonade and he seemed to really enjoy it. The prices I belive were just a touch higher than a bigger chain (mine was $4 for a 16oz and an extra .75¢ for the soy milk) but I'm not actually sure on whether it's more expensive or not, but I will gladly pay a little extra to support a local business that has drinks that taste better anyway! I love the way the place is decorated, the music videos playing on the big TV behind the counter is a unique touch. Big plus to being veteran owned, and there's a counter in the back covered in business cards for other local companies, as well as what appeared to be a donation box, though I missed what it was for. I didn't try any of the food this time, but I will most definitely be back!

Courtney O'Mary

Veteran run and owned! Great coffee and business!!!

lee lawrence

As a Veteran myself, I enjoy supporting local and Veteran owned businesses. Love the fresh roasted coffee. Took some back to Caribbean with me and I look forward to getting more the next time I'm home.

Brad Dutton

Great small business to support

Justin Laughlin

Delicious food, coffee and tea! Their breakfast tacos are amazing. I could eat their cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies for days. Super nice people! Worth checking out

Michelle Hernandez

Lydia Sloan

The coffee is good but the breakfast tacos mainly consist of eggs, very friendly atmosphere though.

Jyotishka Datta

Very nice coffee and good food too. I have been here a few times in the last month and I like their cold brew, aeropress and the London fog. It's also has a friendly ambience and good music, ideal for sitting in a quiet place to write the last few pages of that story or that long pending paper.

James Buckle

Casey Rivers

Great coffee!

Charles Powers

Good coffee, not exactly what I was expecting from a veteran owned business.

Paula Miller

A hidden treasure! No drive through, quiet, cute ambience inside on a corner with windows all around. Even though I came at what I’m sure is a lull in the day, I received my coffee in a timely manner, walked out to where I was seated. A medium vanilla cappuccino (very wet) was $5 and probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted! I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.

Carlos Munoz

Went on a coffee run for my coworkers and myself. When we all tried the coffee (this was our first time getting coffee from Doomsday) we all said the same thing "... Damn that's some good coffee"

Andrew Miner

Chris Whittle

Great place with great people. I dare say some of the best coffee in the area. Do yourself a favor, go get a Latte and a Tamale and you'll thank me.

Wanda Grisham

Heath Rust

Coffee to dark for good flavor.

Mary Leger

Great coffee

Megan Hickey

They had the best chai tea I have ever had! I also love their tamales!!! I will definitely come here again.

Hayden Reeves

I checked out this coffee shop today on a whim and I really enjoyed it! This coffee shop is located very close to the University of Arkansas and has a great atmosphere. The owner, Jason, was very friendly and welcoming. When observing the menu, I realized that the prices are very cheap. I tried the iced chai tea latte and it was very good! I would highly recommend checking this location out. You won't be sorry you did.

Not only does the coffee have a smooth brewed caressing flavor but I ordered the sausage breakfast tacos on corn tortillas (which they had never done before and did just for me) and they were amazing! I believe her name was Rosie, took extra care and went above and beyond to make my breakfast and my day. Thank you Doomsday I will be back again and again and again and I will bring friends!

Mackenzie McGee

Emily Sherwin

Has quickly become my favorite coffee shop! It is a great place to study because it isn't too loud. Coffee, food, and staff are all amazing!

Nathan Willis

This place is great. Always love it when I have a chance to stop in. Coffee is excellent (buy some to take home) you wont be dissapointed. They are quick here too. The food is awesome, especially the tamales! Overall, if you have never stopped by to spend a few minutes here, you need to. Staff are very friendly and profeasional, establishment is always clean, coffee and food are excellent. Most importantly, it's veteran owned and operated. Keep up the good work here guys. Highly recommended

Sherri Powell

Try the ginger lemon tea. Great pick me up drink. The coffee is nice and smooth.

Patrick Tran

Best latte I’ve ever had! Lots of space in here. Very clean. Owner was super nice and did a great job of giving me a rundown of the menu

John Frank

Good change of venue for Doomsday. Give these folks some business. Good blueberry waffle. Breakfast tacos were great, albeit a little pricey when compares to Torchy's. A solid much needed addition to downtown Fayetteville. When a coffee and breakfast are needed.

Jack Green

An absolute gem! A few friends would not quit raving about Doomsday coffee of course I had to give them a try for myself and one of the best decisions I've made. An absolute gem! Fantastic coffee, fantastic service and delicious breakfast. I'm not eloquent enough to describe how fantastic my total experience was. Delicious breakfast doesn't do it justice. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the three meat tacos, Wow is all I have to say. I wish I would have taken pictures of my breakfast to upload but I didn't think about it at the time. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone who has not tried Doomsday coffee to stop in and give them the opportunity to impress you like I was impressed.

The coffee and expresso drinks are great with lots of fun flavor shots available. Though Doomsday Coffee is much more than just coffee. The tamales are a standout, unexpected item on the menu - red pork has a nice savory flavor, while green chile chicken has a nice spicy kick to it. The breakfast tacos are also excellent, I vote Best in Town. Fluffy tortillas with well-cooked, balanced, fresh ingredients. I prefer the bacon taco, but that is purely personal preference - the sausage is also great. For those with a sweet tooth, the cinnamon roll and Sopapilla cheesecake bars are both well-made with balanced flavors. Rosie handmakes the tamales, salsa, and Sopapilla cheesecake bars. You can definitely tell that the food is made with care and real ingredients. In addition to the food, the service is always fast and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable and it's a great place to grab a bite to eat with friends.

David Peachee

One one best roasts on Costa Rica coffee I’ve ever had. Great little place.

David Boddie

The food is always good and the environment is happy and open. Enjoy a nice coffee or tea! And the breakfast is always fantastic!

Jessica Presley

The coffee is great and so is their tacos, burritos, and tamales. I love coming to Doomsday for a motivating latte to begin the work day.

James Lyle

Michael Brown

Doomsday Coffee is a refreshing environment with absolutely amazing coffee and pastries. The high speed internet makes it an ideal place to work outside the office too. Stop by! You won't be disappointed.

mo dc

I stopped by for something to drink and eat also. First off, the place was inviting and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I arrived way before closing time, but couldn't order food because the kitchen was already closed. No big deal, I understand. I ordered a plain cappuccino, no added flavors. I really enjoyed it, very rich flavor. I did have an issue with the quantity, it wasn't full. They made up for this and I am overall happy with my experience with this business. Thanks guys, I'll be back for sure.

Cole Rath

Great coffee and breakfast burrito. Friendly staff and great service. I’ll be back!

Finally, a place in the south that sells a real cappuccino

Titus Brown

This coffee shop is by far the best in Fayetteville. It has a great atmosphere. The coffee being roasted in the back really helps the atmosphere. The breakfast tacos were the best. The bacon is cooked perfectly and the salsa is the greatest for the taco. The eggs are perfect and the cheese is the best. The spice level is perfect. Once again the atmosphere is amazing and you should definitely try it right now! Like for real, stop reading this. Like now! STOP reading it NOW!

Josh Yarbrough

Small coffee shop with amazing breakfast tacos. Shells were freshly toasted tortillas. I tried the Triple Meat option and it delivered. The eggs are the perfect consistency as well. Shop also offers whole bean artisan coffee for sale. Coffee was excellent and paired well with breakfast. This is a must visit whether for breakfast, brunch, or even lunch.

Tony G

You can't buy better coffee, so buy wisely!

Sarah McClintock

My husband and I come here a lot for coffee and breakfast. They have amazing tamales. They go so great with coffee. Who knew? Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Also have yummy muffins.

Lee Layton Jr.

We are word traveling coffee connoisseurs. We have been to coffee plantations in Guatemala and enjoyed an espresso in Italy. In short, we love coffee! Having said that the last thing I expected was to have one of the best Lattes I’ve ever had in Fayettville, AR. This place is definitely a hidden gem. If you live in Fayettville or happen to be in the area, don’t waste your time going to a Starbucks! Go to Doomsday Coffee! You will not be disappointed. As a matter of fact we are heading back home today and plan on driving 20 min. out of our way for one more visit to this establishment.

Reagan G

Great experience! Super friendly staff, great coffee, and best breakfast tacos I've ever had!

Unfortunately this place is underrated. Hiding in a strip mall surrounded by dollar stores, a church, and things that don't draw any attention to most people. I think if they had a different location they would be booming. The ambience is tasteful and rustic, lots of seating, friendly Baristas, and wonderful coffee. I got the mochachino, and was surprised to find it wasn't overly sweet like most are. I could taste the pureness of the coffee; the smooth, almost velvet taste. They offer tamales, breakfast muffins, quiches, and cookies. You could easily make this a breakfast or brunch stop. I am so glad I stopped in, and will become a regular now. And some of the greatest part, you are supporting veterans. I think next time I shall buy a bag of their custom roasted coffee.

Wes Sheldon

A little pricey, but very chill place for coffee and tea. Solid pastries too. Plus they just got an awesome new screen that plays music videos. Would 5 star is slightly less expensive, but awesome place!

Chloe Ford

Cold brew is smooth and refreshing. Ended up buying a bag of Day of the Dead, which is used for their cold brew. Shop is awesome looking. Dark colors and wood everywhere.

Ebb KIng

I dont tend to like coffee, but this coffee was great. The breakfast was big enough for 2 ( we both eat alot) and it was great too.

Bruce Steele

Best coffee in town, beats all others with their premium fresh roasted beans. Support your local veterans and shop here

Norman Delavega

I have been coming here for only about three weeks now, but am very comfortable with the atmosphere. My staple, the Americano, is hot, dark, strong, and delicious every single time. Their dark drip coffee reminds me of my military days...just as strong but definitely tastes better! Rosie and Crystal are always a pleasure to talk to and always make me feel welcomed. This is the only coffee place in town I will recommend. And where else can you get a tamale with your coffee? #supportourveterans #rememberthefallen

Shawna Martin

Wow. This is one of the BEST places I’ve ever got coffee at! It’s beautiful inside, the works are so nice, and the coffee was excellent. I wish I could have stayed and enjoyed but I had to leave. I got a salted caramel mocha and it was perfect. All sorts of combinations you can have, you won’t be disappointed!

David Miller

Friendly barista, good coffee, try the tamales! The owners wife makes them, and they were excellent!

Caine McLeod

Try it. If you hate it, I'll pick up your bill.

Alexandro Fernández

Small, cool, cozy corner. Their coffee is exceptionally good and they have other options for snacks or lunch.

Alarie Bowerman

One of the coolest and nicest coffee shops around! The entire feel of the place was everything you want a coffee shop to be:laid back, friendly and great coffee. Have recommended this to friends and clients, already!

Christian Wilkett-Lumba

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff hardworking and polite, the coffee and food delicious. On my second time here the quality of my whole experience was still great. Even with a large rush the service was still fast and the staff while overwhelmed still were kind and attentive. I highly recommend this mom and pop shop for anyone looking for excellent handmade coffee and awesome breakfast tacos.

Dana Walker

Wonderfully strong coffee, a small selection of baked goods (including a variety of crustless quiches), and super friendly service makes this one of my favorite spots for a cup of Joe in the morning. Veteran owned!

Great coffee and great aesthetic. It’s a shame I’m not living in Fayetteville or else I’d come here more often!

Tricia Andolina

Found this place on a whim while in Fayetteville and gladly came back a second time. The coffee and food are delicious and you can tell everything is made in house and with care. The owner and employees are so awesome and friendly as well, I love locally owned business because you can see the love and care they put into what they do and it shows in this place. This is now my favorite coffee place!!

Amanda Harris

Pretty dark atmosphere. Like "Paint it Black" dark and void of light. Very long wait. Extremely dark roast on the beans used in cappuccino. Not in love, though it seemed that many locals there are.

J Woo

Drip coffee was great. Americano was watery. Would go back, sans Americano.

Meg Brown

The yummiest coffee in town; love their atmosphere! Jason roasts their shop's coffee (from all over the world) in house and Rosie's welcoming presence makes you feel right at home! For every pound of coffee sold, they donate $1 to Mission 22 (organization that works to prevent veteran suicide.) You seriously need to make this your regular coffee spot!
