I ordered a small iced mocha (iced mocha is my drink of choice & how I judge the quality of coffee shops) and the employee warned me that it was dark chocolate mocha and not very sweet and the small had the same # of shots as the large (so it’s even less sweet). It was not very good in my opinion (pretty bitter), BUT I should’ve heeded his warning and at least gotten a large one, so it’d be a little less strong coffee taste and a little sweeter. I’d give this another try and do a large next time. It was very busy and pretty loud when I went; not an ideal spot for reading. On the bright side, this coffee shop is in downtown Chandler, which is pretty cute to walk around.

Everything was great. Only reason I am not giving five stars is due to it being way too hot inside. Sun was beeming in so bright it was uncomfortable the eyes in half the seats. I suggest using the solar shades that are there when morning sun is that bright. Otherwise, I will be back and highly recommend.

Homemade poptart was freaking delicious. My friend liked her cappuccino, and the art was cute. I had an iced chai and was not very impressed. I don't think there was any sweetener in it; not sure if I was supposed to ask for it or if someone forgot, but it just tasted like milk with cloves it in.

Nice hangout, decent coffee, fast and friendly service, so in other words a decent place to have an expensive coffee drink. Only fly in the ointment is the parking, which is lacking, especially during popular times. I like the decor and atmosphere, and the vibe. Enjoyed relaxing, chatting with my party, and sipping a nice nitro float.

Some of the best coffee in the Valley Black drip coffee: Good Black pour over coffee: Quite good Black cold brew: Great Peixoto has some of the best coffee in the valley. They also have carb-heavy sweet treats, neat coffee drinks like an Cascara Tea and an Espresso and Tonic drink. I think they make their own tonic too... The staff is great, friendly. If you love coffee and are in Chandler, check this place out.

Drove two hours to get to this place and it was definitely worth the trip. The espresso (Peixoto Honey) was amazing and so was the pour (Familia Peixoto). Staff is welcoming and friendly and the place has a very chill vibe. Would recommend eyes closed. Will be coming back!

Not a bad place for a cappuccino but if you want any drinks with flavor you can forget it! They don't have any flavors and are somewhat snobbish about the coffee. No food selection just a few scones they bring in. The decor is nice though. All-in-all a good cup of coffee.

I was able to come across this wonderful establishment when I helped my brother move to Arizona. Me and my brother both worked at a local coffee shop in Florida, and we were both thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the shop. The coffee is freshly roasted, the staff and the owner were absolutely some of the most friendly staff I have ever met at a coffee shop. They were extremely knowledgeable about their products, and they also offer their freshly roasted coffee to buy whole bean at a very reasonable price! Very satisfied, and will definitely be back the next time that I am in Chandler.

This place is the best coffee shop in Chandler! The service is ALWAYS great. The coffee is better than great! They have special mixes each season and the baristas go through the trouble of explaining flavors and making suggestions depending on your likes and craving of the moment. Decor is so cool. Setting and seating choices are plenty for such a small space. If you're in the area, definitely recommend stopping by. Parking may be difficult while construction is in progress if it's a weekend or high-traffic time. But find something along the street or in one of the nearby lots. Enjoy the walk and come on by! You wont be disappointed! Order a quick to-go or relax and take your java in a cute ceramic cup while you sit with a friend or solo by the window and people-watch.

Had a great cappuccino here. The other two in our group loved their drinks, too...an americano and a coconut cold brew coffee. Excellent service. Fast, friendly, and let us sample the peach ginger tonic before we ordered. Great place to hang out and relax. Easy to park for free in the big dirt lot to the south. I'd stop by again.

I'm not a fan of coffee places that tell me how I should drink my coffee; however, coffee is good. The blend and roast offers a robust flavor that's not bitter. They would have scored higher if they would have offered some sugar free syrup options - even one - but they don't. In the end it's my choice and preference, and I'll choose somewhere else next time, regardless of how good the coffee is.

This place is located on the side of a busy street so u can park by the light or there's some street parking available too. The bathroom is in the back and it's shared I believe with the other businesses in the building. It's a small and nice place inside. I got the vanilla latte. But wasn't sure how sweet it will be so I got half sweet in it. It's better if you just get it how it comes with cause it's not overly sweet. The latte was good. Next time I will probably get it how it comes. Or try a caramel one. They also have some tables & chairs outside.

I do have to say though I’m not a huge fan of their cold brew but I can’t knock points off for that since literally everything else about this place is great. This is one of the better specialty coffee shops over in chandler.

Local business which sources its own coffee from its own Farm. The staff can be friendly, the coffee is in the new roasting style and they serve locally-made chocolate in their Mochas, which is a real treat. It's a cozy place decorated in the new hip fashion, exposed wood, vintage lights, an espresso machine that they probably acquired from a galaxy far far away (it's that cool!) and the absolute highest concentration of middle-aged hipsters loitering about, peering over mobile devices at other middle-aged hipsters.

Walked in 4:30PM to see very few seats. No one even looked up at me, and after standing there for a couple minutes someone else walked past me to the actual place to order...Would have been nice to know that. I took one walk around just to see the place and left. I guess if you're known or fit in it's a good place, but if not it's pretty dark and unfriendly. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was clean, and the prices looked on par with market value. There were a minimalist vibe, small selection of scones, and coffees etc. Two small Cafe tables were open outside as well.

Hip, well executed, great space with the right elements of a coffee shop. Is it surprising in some way? Not really. Just the epitome of snazzy coffee houses. Got the nitro cold brew. Definitely a massively smooth and tasty drink. Surprises that the flavor notes were so different. If we had more time I'd have conversed with the staff about the coffee and how they roast it. Rarely am I in Chandler but if we ever need coffee and are nearby this is the place to go.

Try them out and support your local coffee shop. If you have never tried anything but Starbucks you are going to have your eyes opened to the real world of coffee. Most shops simply answer their phone and quickly answer a simple question that a potetial customer may have, like, "do you carry Colombian Supremo coffe"? Nope. Not this all-important tribute to everything we hold dear with regard to coffee. One must first listen to a list of superfluous nonesense then push '3' just to GET to the extremely important people who are actually AT the coffee shop, then listen to another recording telling us where the shop is located, how to figure out where THE FRONT DOOR IS LOCATED, and other OH-SO important information they want YOU to know.... BEFORE getting to YOUR question that could have been answered in 3-seconds and you could be on your way to their shop to spend money, enjoy a hot beverage and perhaps a snack, then be on your way with your day remembering how easy it was and how you can't wait to return. It's not enough to have a name no one can pronounce and no one will therefore remember, this place needs a voicemail system with layers and layers and layers of needless and unecessay information to the prospective consumer who simply wants to know if they carry your flavor of coffee. Wow. GREAT business model for an owner who clearly has no idea what a coffee consumer wants. I guarantee you... it's just coffee. Nobody cares how important you believe yourself or your shop to be.. it's just coffee. You are not, nor will you ever be a Fortunae 500 company who needs layers and layers of voicemail. All we want is coffee and to be able to quickly and easily know if you carry the kind we want. I could have driven there and asked more quickly than getting through your voicmail layers. Now, I will do neither.

Clean, cute, and very friendly workers. I wish their posted menu was more extensive, because I never have any idea what flavors they're carrying or what teas they have. That's nicely countered by their excellent staff who happily answer any questions I have, and always provide extremely prompt service despite being unbelievably busy and crowded when I go in. This is a new favorite coffee shop for sure!

Probably one of the coolest places in Down Town Gilbert! I felt like I was back in Portland or Seattle after walking in. The decor and cozy places helped me think creatively and get ready for a stressful day. The pastries were on point, but it took me a minute to figure out they feature different bakeries from around town in the display. WOW that's cool. I love coming here to relax and enjoy a cup of black coffee, talking with anyone and everyone here. The people are friendly and the crowd varies since it's downtown Chandler. I enjoy attending the coffee events they host and the people who genuinely have a passion to make coffee art and various beverages. The location is great because sunshine hits it in the right spot, although it gets a little warm in there when the sun beams. They do roast their own coffee beans from their own family farm in Brazil. You CANNOT pass up this spot if you are a coffee enthusiast. It was named one of the best coffee shops in the Phoenix New Times and a few other local news that brought this place to light.

Best darn coffee shop I've ever been to. Super friendly people behind the counter, and a great atmosphere with an ever-changing scene of people coming through. The coffee is a little pricey, but apparently a lot of work goes into it because it tastes incredible. The only other thing I would note is that the seating is limited, and it is VERY popular, so make sure you pay attention to the busy times on the Google profile if you plan to have a sit and sip.

Drink tried: peppermint white chocolate matcha soy latte (seasonal special here). I'm embarrassed that I've never been here, as I live walking distance away! The decor is incredible and trendy. The latte was amazing! Definitely a perfect studying atmosphere. Don't wait too long to check this place out, I was missing out for sure. Not open late though, so plan out your study time around that.

Staff is really nice. The place is relatively small, so do not expect a table during busy hours. Latte was very good, smooth. Their latte is not my favorite in the Phoenix area, but I am definitely adding it to my top 5. I love the style of the place (dark industrial, yet cool and uplifting) probably my favorite in Phoenix for ambiance, it's great. Music was good, muted, and not so loud you could not talk, read or think like in so many coffee places. I highly recommend!

Great tasting espresso! Giving 4 stars because if you are someone who enjoys a large drink and additional shots of espresso this is not the place for you. I generally order a 30oz iced mocha with 8 to 10 espresso shots. The largest size they have here is 16 oz and the baristas get pretty judgy when you order 8 shots.

One of, if not, the best Coffee shop in Arizona. The coffee is amazing. Offers coffee directly from the farm to your cup. The Peixoto family has been growing coffee in Brazil for generations. The owners have created a unique experience and wonderful atmosphere. The Baristas are knowledgeable, friendly, and always smiling. Quality coffee but way overpriced! The staff is friendly, the barristas knowledgeable, the interior clean and well kept... But good heavens! $5.75 for a 16 oz mocha?!! It's hard to swallow which is unfortunate because we need more places like Peixoto to remind us what good coffee really tastes like.

The coffee here is excellent! I like that you don't have an overwhelming number of choices. I got the maple spiced cold brew and I can't say I've had anything like it before. The flavors really come through very well if you like nutty flavors and non overbearing sweet coffees.

A nice strong cup of cappuccino! I think $4 for a 6 oz puts this in the over priced range. The Nutella banana croissant was yummy but the pastry was over backed. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere invites you to hang out for a bit. Definitely worth a try!

My favorite coffee shop in the valley! The staff is friendly but not overbearing, knowledgeable but not condescending, and they are all passionate about coffee. I always look forward to the seasonal menu which is loaded with new delicious drinks, but the standard coffees are fantastic. You really can't go wrong with any drink here, but if you're overwhelmed with their menu (like what in the world is a cascara?) the staff is more than happy to explain and even let you try samples if you're unsure. By the way, it's pronounced "pay-show-toe." The atmosphere is great too, and a wonderful place to work, meet with friends, or watch them roast a fresh batch of beans. When my friends tell me how much they love Cartel, I just ask them, "Have you ever been to Peixoto?"

I'd love to be able to pop by before work! Update- When I wrote my review I thought they opened at 7am- A 6am open time means I can enjoy a cup while driving to work !!

Great place to come and chill or get it to go. Awesome to see the connection the store has with farm they get their coffee beans from. Had a breve coffee and they have sparkling water or soda water to wash it down or follow it up, a big thing for most or some European drinkers of coffee. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Must try if you are visiting or local. Cheers.

Girlfriend dragged me ten miles to get their coffee and I was not disappointed. As someone who is accustomed to Dunkin Donuts, the Spiced Maple Latte blew my mind. The environment is relaxed and there is plenty of seating to read a book or do some homework. Or whatever people do when they go to coffee shops. Yum!
