The people in the shop are always friendly, plus the coffee is amazing! My go to is a iced cafe blanco. Never fails. Love this place, highly recommend!

Ashley Dunn

The cutest outdoor patio! Free short term parking nearby.

Ginger Mc Gee

Nice mom and pop place

Kaitlyn Ferguson

Great local spot

Brady Vilhauer

Dude this place is KILLER. Def in my top 3 coffee places in greater PHX. I have tried the iced mocha, iced blanco (white mocha), hot blanco, and hot hazelnut. I liked all of them! Not too sweet, but sweet enough while maintaining yummy dark espresso flavor. Just the way I love my lattes. Has a super cool atmosphere, big windows, cute city vibe. Woods and concrete and industrial look for decor / design. Neat seating area out back that’s fairly sizable. Volume is just right, you can chat without feeling too loud, but you also don’t mind the white noise around you. Friendly baristas! Very helpful. They even recommended some lunch places nearby since we wanted to eat + coffee. They have WONDERFUL pastries. Priced well too! I love Lola Coffee... be sure to go! You will NOT regret it!!

Adrian Chee

always a pleasure. low-key, fresh pastries and the music is at an appropriate level. 1 of my fave shops in the valley. meet the owner in the mornings, he's at his own level of mastery

Brittany Griffith

Great coffee! Employees are super nice and service is quick and accurate

Tony Pensiero

I love Lola coffee! Their latte is my favorite and the people there seem to be very cool. The outdoor patios are nice and the location is excellent with good parking and connections to light rail. I'll admit, I even get a little high off their coffee for some reason.

Mathieu Dube

Nice place for a good coffee!

A D

Cozy coffee place with wonderful baked goods, breakfast burritos, Spanish tortillas, other breakfast stuff with close quarters seating indoors and art work on walls and a nice outdoor patio before it gets too hot.

Walt Pitts

Doug H.

A rare, quiet spot near downtown with delicious coffee and friendly people. Always stop in here after Pita Jungle. Free parking in the garage next door!

Luis Gick

Too hipster for my taste. I was afraid to hurt the feelings of someone in that place

Abegail Lastimonio

As a coffee-critic slash coffee-lover, I have tried almost all types of coffees but this coffee shop never fails to give me the synchronous experience of the familiar and the surprising which makes me absolutely crave for more.

Laura Metchikoff

Great time with my sister, lovely Urban vibe. Coffee hit the spot, appetising food displayed!

Édouard U.

Coffee grinding machines are pretty noisy and seemingly always running, but inside is cute and patio is nice

Catherine Luse

Adorable coffee shop with charming back patio. Possibly the most beautiful coffee shop I have been to in Phoenix.

Taylor Lytikainen

Very sweet coffee shop. Cozy and friendly atmosphere with many working, reminds me of being in college again :)

Thomas Weaver

This coffee shop has a very distinctive feel. It's very comfortable, quiet and the service was awesome. Only reason why I didn't give it 4 stars is because they definitely need better seating to include softer chairs. Other than that it was a great location to sit with a friend and have something to drink in get reacquainted.

Thomas Morris

Food was fantastic, well seasoned and speedy. Great comfortable atmosphere. Coffee was excellent. Definately coming back.

Lydia Durnil

Great atmosphere with tables and outlets. Really good for studying. It gets busy, but not crazy. I highly recommend the caramel latte!

oscar munoz

BRING YOUR OWN SALSA. I got a bacon egg and cheese burrito which was REALLY GOOD. Unfortunately the salsa didnt have the same energy. It tasted like the least spicy Pace sauce, it really didnt do justice to the great burrito. The coffee was incredible though!

Loc’dSational Nature

Been here a few times with my love on our morning coffee dates. We just happened to go after the 4th of July (independence day). The coffee is okay overall. We sat inside and saw a display. A floral display if you will, of cotton and an American flag in a vase as a decoration, for INDEPENDENCE DAY! Very insensitive decoration. Went to management to ask what it meant and she stated she did not know as if she was oblivious to what’s going on in her coffee shop that she runs. Take from this review what you will we know racism is alive and well and not going on every day as we have to deal with it EVERYDAY but needless to say they will not be getting anymore business from us. *Pic posted*

Byron Webb

Excellent coffee.

sofia fencken

the baristas are super nice and the atmosphere is great! they have a good chai latte and nice bagels. I always go here before school.

Lee Whitmore

This was the first stop on my spring training visit to Phoenix and Glendale. Comfortable seating indoor and out. Wonderful coffee. And note the breakfast menu. Fresh made to order burritos, omelettes and more. Yum!

Bobby .Parker

I had scrambled eggs and they were really good.

Charlotte Hurley

Cute little place. They have donuts from rollover, huge omelettes, and excellent breakfast burritos with picante salsa. I had a white chocolate mocha that was smooth without being overly sweet. I would definitely go there again for breakfast/coffee.

Brian Nguyen

Located in In the hot desert of Phoenix, Lola coffee is a yuppie/hipster's oasis for cold brewed iced coffee that you can get with house made ice cream and pastries baked fresh daily. Espresso drinks made to order, both quickly and with care. A welcome sight for eyes made sore by surrounding Starbucks.

Francisco Chinchilla Jr.

This coffee house has a great atmosphere and staff. The coffee is great especially given the fact that they offer almond milk. Love the latte. Adding this place to my list of great small coffee houses.

Modest Juarez

It was much smaller than expected. Seating was placed too close together so it gave off a claustrophobic feeling. It was pretty nice and the customer service was great but it isn't an ideal studying spot. Since its small it can get noisy and packed really easily.

Mary Frances

Food was very good but the quichr was kinda eh... not bad just not as good as mine!!! I'd be willing to share the recipe tho!!! Hee, hee!!! The donuts, bagels, cro6and coffee were bomb tho!!!

S Staub

Trendy atmosphere, great coffee, but crowded. Worth it.

Jayna Cox

Great prices for great coffee. Service with a smile and a comfortable atmosphere.

Gary Muller

A real Coffee House. They also have some quiche for lunch. Coffee is very good

Meg yogi

Cute!

Heads up, I didn't stay here to eat or drink. After a brief perusal, here's my opinion: The patio is beautiful, and while the inside seems cozy, it's pretty dark. I love sunlight; hence why I live in the Valley of the Sun. So any shop without natural light is a turn off. The staff were super nice and honest. I was greeted with a warm hello and two smiles. I asked if there were any outlets outside. They said no. I asked if there were any outlets inside. They said very few. Because I go to coffee shops to work, I need readily available outlets. After a few minutes of trying to see where I could set up, I realized I wouldn't be able to find a suitable spot, so I left. I would like to try this place again, when I don't have to work. If the owner reads this, please try to put in more outlets or extension cords -- especially outside for us Vitamin D junkies.

Sara Demor

Love this place

Ying-Hao Chu

A super popular one.

Robin Bukovina

Awesome coffee and tea. Fresh lemonade is unbelievable if you like the real deal. Customizable breakfast sandwiches are perfect and very well sized for the price. Food comes much faster than most coffee shops. Nice baked goods. Inside can be a little noisy, but there is outside seating too. A favorite.

Kristin Fehr

Burnt tasting coffee, rude staff. To be honest, there was only one person who was rude, the others were pleasant enough in our brief interaction. I like more flavorful, less bitter coffee, which thankfully is the trend at most coffee shops lately, though I guess it is hard to bring out that flavor in cold brew...

Ron Hourihan

Good coffee and Zucchini bread...

Aisha Clark

Perfect cafe!

Brian Higgs

Good coffee for a good price

the junior show

Love there coffee best and best sweet good and good place to work. Service great love the place

Steven Sible

Great coffee, great baked goods, and atmosphere and service are incredible

M Woodlee

Great people with real iced coffee

Divyanshu Khare

Its a great place to relax but not the greatest to study. Not enough power points and too many people around. (spots not available)

Luba Bolderoff

Visiting from australia, sister inlaw took me to her favorite coffee place. It's definitely worth the hype!! :)

UPDATE: Daniel, thanks for the prompt response - I appreciate it. I asked the person behind the counter for his name and he said his name was Eric. Maybe I heard wrong. It was the person that was working the counter on Friday, March 2nd at around 12:30PM, he was wearing a hat, so you know exactly who. (I hope it wasn't you? :) I trust what you say about staff training in your message and I hope this incident was an exception. It is really off-putting to be treated like this. I hope to run into you one of these days so we can have a candid conversation. ---- I live steps away from Lola and usually like coming here. I come here often to get a coffee with neighbors/friends or simply to read a book. I agree with other reviewers that sometimes the service can be lackluster but usually the baristas are great. However today I was extremely disappointed by Eric's service, the guy was manning the cash counter. He simply did not understand my order, I must have repeated it like 5 times. Initially I thought he was being goofy, and by the fifth time (no effort made to clarify my request),he was sort of mocking me. No other way to interpret it. The guy was unapologetic and made no effort to get my business when I walked off. Pathetic customer service. Lola owners: please get your act together, train employees like Eric to be courteous and sincere, and have them represent you well. I will gladly take my $$ to other cafes that are popping up all over Roosevelt and downtown if incidents like these reoccur.

Desiree Cassandra

Coffee was ok. I got an almond milk latte. Service made the experience very awkward and unwelcoming, don't ask questions, know exactly what you want, even if it's on a slow Sunday afternoon. I really don't like writing negative reviews but not worth the trip. Go anywhere else because there are much better options in the area.

Jack G

Great atmosphere in an old brick building. Coffee is average at best and seating is mostly tight and uncomfortable, but if you like an historic and hipster vibe, it's hard to beat this place in Phoenix.

Korinne Wotell

Great iced coffee! Excellent service.

Vanazz Washington

Very friendly atmosphere. Kind staff. Wonderful aromas.

Josh Decker

Their Americano is amazing! Staff is very friendly and the service is prompt. They also have AMAZING breakfast burritos!!

Brett McDaniel

Excellent coffee and service. Food items, made in house, are also very good. A local favorite for sure.

Jonathan Wiggins

Really great pastry and coffee. The lemonade is really strange; too sweet. There is a chocolate cake-like pastry that is wonderful. They also have a cool area out back next to Pita Jungle patio that's great to just sit and relax.

aeimee diaz

I simply when in to people watch. Busy, jolly people. Cool vibes and jams.

Andrea Oppermann

Great ambience for working. Coffee is fine. But I love coming here with friends.

Alexander Corvin

Astonishingly warm and human staff. Courteous, kind, and friendly.

Jeremy Thomas

Stopped in early in the morning after dropping my wife and son for their flight. The 2 ladies working were very nice and friendly, even for 530 in the morning. They quickly served me my coffee and bagel. The only downside is the prices but its the airport so I expected it to me a little pricey.

catherine brennan

Love the coffee here! Try the borgia latte:)

Ayanna Angle

Patio sippin the best

Tena Valenti

Most delicious iced coffee!

Dalton Johnson

Hipster vibe, but otherwise a typical coffee shop. Parking was limited, but nothing atypical for most downtown establishments.

Ryan DeWitt

Love this place; great espresso!

Thomasine Townsend

The staff also displayed a great warmth and compassion toward a disheveled, possibly down-on-his-luck man in a wheelchair, greeting him by name and asking what he would like to drink. On both of our visits, the clientele also seems friendly and free of that "too-cool-for-school" vibe. You almost feel a sense of community.

Tom Wood

Very good coffee and pastries, if you are in the area. The service was also pretty fast and friendly. Should I find myself that way again, I'll swing in for a good mocha.

Mo Nab

Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Good food. Nice spot to sit and relax or even do some work.

Willie Drone

Coffee and customer service was great!

Christina Begay

Great place. Pricey... but great. Bathroom a little erry... pastries are to die for and coffee is amazing!

Robert Humphrey

Coffee tastes awful but nice staff

Russell Stewart

Friendly staff and food came out in a timely manner.

Daniel Esteves

Great coffee.

Shannon McKinnon

Great coffee and friendly staff! It can get very busy, but there is ample indoor and outdoor seating.

Jane Read

Amazing place with amazing coffee options. The americano was one of the best I've had. And the cinnamon roll pastry is flaky and moist and just what a delectable treat should be. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

Jerrod Kaplan

Coffee is great. But .... it's the pastries that will transport you to the twelfth level of nirvana. Everything is baked there, so it's all fresh. I've never had a single pastry there that was less than mind-blowing.

Ginger Orsi

Really good coffee, good music and friendly staff. They make amazing almond milk lattes. Only thing, I’d love to see the food menu be more vegan friendly. Great place though.

Gold Level Media

This has to be one of the best coffee places around town. Always support local. Great Local place.

Ellison Hurley

It's a cute & chic little coffee shop. Food that is fresh and tasty! I really enjoyed my visit!

AboutThatLife KZ

Really nice chill place. Beautiful on the inside and outside. The staff are nice and the food is great.

Angela Di Venti

Good coffee. Front entrance was not wheelchair accessible, however back entrance was. Was able to get in front door despite curb step, but crowded table and chairs made it hard to maneuver to counter. Coffee was good. Place was busy for a Thursday morning. Lots of flies outside. If you work at Lola's the pennies in a Ziplock baggie truly works, attach above to hang...Maybe find a cute glass/plastic type container to add them...would look nice and help fly 'sitch

Henry Chip Gnoza

Always amazing!

Maria Martinez

The patio is so nice to relax and enjoy your coffee

Brenda Almazan

Stopped by with some friends, best place we've ever been to, it's our new hang out place!

George Owen

2.50 for a small coffee with 50 cent refills. Also the wifi didn't work right. Also the seating is close together so it's hard to walk past other people easily. However that said, the coffee is good.

Bill McComas

One out many great cafés downtown. Only complaint is the ambient noise in the dining room. Great food and sweets. Wonderful patio as well.

Robert Hattan

Great food but the process is a little broken to get your food. You build your meal to order instead of a menu which can be nice but also very time consuming. You have to wait for your order in a crowded area since it won’t be delivered. The food was very good but outside the flies were horrible to the point we didn’t want to stay long.

Chris Allen

Presenting exquisite pastries and an exceptional cup of the black liquid, you can expect a delicious cup every time. I would live in Portland Park just so I can walk to this place every morning. My only issue is of course with how busy this place gets, but who cares, coffee's good, so stand and sip it is.

Joe Previte

Hip little coffee shop! I came here to get some work done and it was perfect. They have a good selection of coffee and pastries. Good place to sit down and have a bite or some coffee :)

Alejandra Bucon

I love Lola Coffee! I have been there several times. I like to go with friends and also to study or work remotely. The chai and Italian sofa are good.

Cody Bader

One of my favorite coffee shops in Phoenix area.

sam hill

Good place in the hippest area of town. Nice patio. A lot of people come here to sit and work/meet. Productive.

Melissa Troyer

My fave, hands down the best coffee I've ever had.

Lacy Schultz

So delicious...so smooth... so amazing! I ordered a caramel macchiato with coconut milk, I was scared it was going to be bitter but I was wrong! Starbucks who? Lol seriously try it out, I swear it was the smoothest cup of cold coffee I’ve ever had no bitterness.

Robbz Haney

Great local coffee house. There are many around but really enjoy Lola!

Paul McIlroy

My 2 boys and I LOVE Lola. Their staff is fast, friendly and pleasant. Their coffee is outstanding as is their variety of baked goods.

Bonn Zhu

Great coffee

Michael Kelsey

Always get a good iced americano!

Caley Morgan

My favorite local coffee shop! The coffee is splendid and so is the food. Parking is limited and usually have to do street parking but totally worth it. I don't live extremely close but would go every day if I lived closer. Probably a good thing I don't..

Felicia Spencer-lewis

Great coffee, amazing pastries friendly staff.. definitely want to go back

David Ritko

I don't know what they do but this is some of the best coffee I've ever had

John Bonifas

Backup for tge lux central

Terry Peterson

Had an excellent Americano and a very tasty breakfast burrito. Their pastries are also very good.

Jesus Rodriguez

Great coffee great people

Susana Saucedo

Love it but it is a bit pricey.

Chris Rice

I discovered this place over a year ago and it's now one of my favorite places. The coffee is amazing and the people that work there are even better. Devon always has a smile on her face and is always wonderful to chat with while ordering my coffee.

SeungYong Han

Best in this neighborhood. Coffee is great, atmosphere is good, and a variety of pastry options as well. I just wish it was more spacious though. Between tables and chairs is very tight! And it closes a bit early. If you are in the neighborhood, I strongly recommend you to try this place.

Can Ulus

Serving with a stone face... Not a good idea, especially if you have nice and easy going customers and we tip all the time, but not even a thank you!? ...

penelo perimes

There's no cup of coffee in Arizona like Lola's coffee. Fresh brewed, delicious tasting, and just the right amount of caffeine. If you're looking for coffee to hit the spot - Lolas!

Kay Udjuni

Good coffee. Good food.

Kelly Gee

Always my favorite coffee place in all of central Phoenix. The patio is very nice. Friendly staff, will stop here again when I'm in the area.

Tiffany Harris

Nice low key coffee shop.good coffee, good atmosphere

K Fitzgerald

Good coffee. Good vibe.

Albert Steele

I loved the food and the service.

Guian Powell

I was taken by surprise. My wife planned our breakfast date for Lola and I was not sure. I had the Americano with almond milk and she had caramel coffee. Mine was full bodied so the coffee flavor came right through, nice. Hers was subtle, in a good way, so that you tasted the coffee and caramel. The breakfast burrito was delicious, texture and flavor. If you are there before 7am, free parking on the street until 8am, otherwise use the parking garage behind and adjacent.

Desiree Meronyk

While my fiancé and I were visiting Phoenix Lola quickly became our morning go to. The service was outstanding and the caramel lattes were hands down the best we ever had. Obsessed with this little coffee shop. Wish we lived closer!

Justin Hazelle

This place cannot make blended drinks. Its Phoenix. Its hot more than not. And they don't have a blender to make my coffee drink into a chilled frosty beverage? Shame. Also, their mocha is just flat out bad. I don't know if its the chocolate they use, or the coffee, or the fact that I actually want all the flavors blended instead of watered down with ice... I dunno. Now that all the negative stuff is out of the way... My GF says their green tea is really good. So there's that. They appear to be real busy all the time, so maybe their other drinks and or food is good? I'm not sure because I haven't had their food. So on that they get the benefit of the doubt.

Jennifer McIntyre

Fantastic breve latte, great atmosphere

Neil Urban

Absolutely the best! Daniel roasts his beans on site and has an excellent pastry chef as well. The tight knit staff is super friendly, highly professional and proud of their craft. They always pull the perfect shot of their full bodied Lola's espresso blend. Lola's is located in the historic Gold Spot Market, has a wonderful outdoor patio and the perfect vibe for grabbing your morning constitutional, hanging with friends or being productive. And to top it off, Daniel has won the National Barrista Artist of the Year more than once!

Sean Crown

Wanna be back here soon to try their pastries.. Love this shop, I recently went here for a meeting with a client..

Britni Burdette

I have lived here for 6 months and Lolas is still the only coffee shop I have been to. I'm obsessed with their breakfast burritos and iced lattes. The staff is so friendly and always makes me feel welcomed. They do an amazing job remembering their customers. It is a small spot, so it can get a little busy, but, the vibe is always great. It's conveniently located very close to my apartment and in one of the cutest downtown areas. Highly reccommend!

Andrew Durkin

What separates Lola from any other coffee place I’ve been is speed of service - I’m not kidding I’m in and out of the door sometimes in less than 3 minutes including waiting in line.

Michael Horton

Best coffee in Phoenix.

Nicole Smith

GREAT atmosphere. The owner is a very nice guy... great coffee

Natalie Vezina

One of my favorite coffee shops in Downtown Phoenix. Their Quiches are amazing as well!

Brian Mcdonald

Super cool friendly employees. Clean bathroom. Fun outdoor patio. Great place to unwind. Food next door as well. Parking can be limited. But highly recommend visiting here

Jim Michaels

Whos That Girl

My fave place! Definitely a must try the coffee is amazing!

Steven Freeman

Great coffee and baked goods. Space is a little smaller but there is a fantastic patio out back. It's a nice place if you're looking for a quiet place and a good coffee.

Lauren Uhl Chambers

Loved this place! Atmosphere is very chill and in a hip part of town. Fresh plants and flowers all over & covered seating in front & back. The cheese danish I had was probably the best I’ve ever had, seriously.

Penelope James

Nice coffee shop. Selection of coffee was nice and pastries were amazing. Seating arrangement was good and I like the place.

Omar Becerra

Placed my order. Never heard my name while sitting at a table next to the baristas. Several coffees were made and picked up. Waited about 10 minutes. Asked about my coffee, and they never made it. They quickly made the cup. Didn't taste that good at all. Very loud atmosphere, hard to "work" from there if you were planning to do that. While I was in the middle of a meeting with guests, a woker makes an announcement to stop everything and pay attention. He wanted to thank the baristas for their hard work and asked for an applause. Everyone awkwardly obliged. I get it. It was a sign of appreciation, but it's a coffee shop. People are there to have light conversations, meetings, study, have coffee, etc. It was a rude interruption to me. Maybe I'm used to the Starbucks' in the world, so I can accept that. The coffee wasn't terrible, thus the three stars.

Dan Garcia

Great alternative to big green corporate coffee.

Gabriel Ramuglia

Great coffee, friendly staff. Pastries are good as well. Not a fan of the other food.

Shelby Edge

Love, love, love the girls! They're amazing! Coffee is delicious!

Anya Graubard

Fab staff and delicious coffee/treats. Perfect neighborhood spot!:~)

Stu Black

As good as Melbourne coffee. Really fast service.

Kalyn Dowdle

Sweet space! Positive, friendly, and artistic.

Ben Fairchild

Great coffee, and the puesdo-soviet posters on the wall helped contribute to the cafés aesthetic.

Mark Hegenbart

Tasty chai, coffee and food. Always a good pick for a delicious breakfast!

Mary Mullins

Love Lola’s ! Best coffee in town

Katheryn Navas

Great coffee. Cozy, trendy atmosphere. DELICIOUS bakery items!

Cliff Matthews

Great coffee place with a cool little gift shop attached. Stopped by on a fall afternoon for an espresso and they had the entire front of the shop opened up to let the cool air in - almost felt like Flagstaff!

Jayson Matthews

Lola Coffee is an excellent cafe. They roast their beans every week which you can bring home if you wish. I also enjoy their baked goods and breakfast which I have enjoyed a number of times. The main space can get crowded so make sure to check out their wonderful patio in the back.
