Smoked pastrami and cuban club were really tasty. Smoked corn chowder on toast was comforting, like something you'd have on a rainy day. Coleslaw was nice but I thought it could use some black pepper. I look forward to exploring the rest of their menu.

Fantastic and creative BBQ restaurant with a small intimate feel. It is layed out like a deli - order from the counter - and the soups, salads, and sandwiches are classic and creative. You've got to try their smoked egg salad and smoked corn chowder!! The prices are great. The extensive variety of glass bottled sodas is impressive. The service is impeccable and friendly. And last, but not least, the food delicious!!

Cool atmosphere, mind-blowing Cuban Sandwich. Every time I lifted the Cuban to take a bite I enjoyed a thick smoky smell just before the flavors hit. The ciabatta bread was fresh with the perfect amount of bite resistance before the "give". Then you hit the pork, ham, & crispy bacon. Amazing fresh-tasting pickles. Wow. I'm not a Cuban sandwich connoisseur, but I've had a few & this was the best by far. Great first impression - I will be back.

This place is a gem. They make the best pastrami outside of Pieous in Austin, TX. The bread was marvelous, deserts were fantastic and the selection of craft sodas is quite large (thanks for stocking grape soda!). Added bonus is that it's attached to a vintage Americana store which has an incredible selection of antiques from old America. Really impressive selection and well organized. They have just about anything you can think of.

I own a small flooring company around the corner, Carpets of Arizona, and we are always trying to find new places to have lunch at. There are a lot of fast food joints, a couple bars, and a couple decent places. We went to American Way and I was planning on getting the BBQ. They had a green chille sandwich on special so I thought I would give it a shot. OMG that was the best sandwich. I can't believe how amazing that tasted. Definitely headed back for more. I'm getting hungry just writing about it. LOL

Potato salad tasted weird. Meat was very hard to chew. Kind of a let down. Bakery was pretty much out of almost everything. Husband had chabatta bun. It was rock hard. Nothing to write be home about if your family lives somewhere else.

Tried American Way Market for the first time today. I liked the look and feel right off the bat. Good visuals and smells to go along with it. I ordered the smoked pastrami, slaw on the sandwich, plus a side of potato salad. The marble rye bread was EXCELLENT. The potato salad was very good and went very well with their bbq sauce, which I find is a good baseline test. I will go back and try other sandwiches there. The only issues I had were with the pastrami. It was tasty and had good smoke. The portion on a $10 sandwich was pretty slight however; seemed like 2oz, when 4oz would have been better for the size of the bread and amount of slaw. It was a touch salty by itself, but balanced well with the slaw on the sandwich. It did not have a pepper crust and was made from brisket, not the fattier 'plate' or 'flap' cut that old school purists would prefer (like they use at legendary Katz Deli in NYC). Hence to me, it was a bit more like corned beef than pastrami, but as I said, it was tasty, just not for the purist. I will try other selections and will be happy to upgrade to 5 stars if those issues are particular to the pastrami. Overall, I recommend trying them out for sure. Fantastic selection of vintage sodas is worth trying for its own sake.

Had to try the #1 restaurant in Chandler; it was worth the drive. We both enjoyed the Market Dip sandwich, especially the great smoky flavor. It’s available with either tri tip or brisket. The tri tip was a bit chewy. We’ll try brisket next time, or a pulled pork sandwich. We each had a cup of the Cheddar Ale soup—delicious! Too full now.

Very good barbecue and baked goods as well as a large selection of craft sodas including several that are hard to find.. The attached antique store has some neat knick knacks and other finds plus a fair amount of vinyl records and sports cards.. They also have a good size selection of various devorative tin signs..

Went here for a quick lunch because it's near my work. I ordered the jackfruit with chips and a drink. I loved their barbeque sauce, my only hang up was that the jackfruit was cubed. Jackfruit is not appetizing to look at unless it's shredded and covered in sauce. The flavor was definitely there, just wish it was shredded. I love that the restaurant is attached to the antique mall, it's great to walk around after lunch. Definitely worth a try if you've never been!

The owner was very nice and friendly, he brought us samples even! Hands down best pulled pork in Arizona, and their buns they put their sandwhich on really ties everything together. Their slaw is to die for as well. Great atmosphere and prices cant be beat, I strongly reccomend.

This used to be my favorite salad spot. I haven't been in a while. I decided to revisit them today and I was a bit disappointed. There was less than half the chicken there used to be and literally a tiny cup of dressing that didn't even the salad. The croutons had very little flavor. Needless to say I won't be back anytime soon.

A huge antique store with a cute little cafe attached. The food is sooo good. Tender flavorful brisket on a really soft bun, was perfect. Also ordered a half order of the blt salad thinking it would be a "half" order, but it was still big! Fresh greens with yummy bacon! The cashier is Awesome and takes good care of the customers. The owner was super cool, fun and friendly. If you answer his trivia correctly he gives you a cookie. The chocolate chip and snickerdoodles are so yummy!

I couldn't feel more positive about this experience if I tried! The family and I wen't antique shopping and decided to have lunch in the attached restaurant. Best decision ever. It has a country store feel and the comfort food flavor to match. The food was delicious. One of the best hot pastrami sandwiches I've ever had. Not a "Reuben", but "hot pastrami". It was truly amazing! The kids had grilled cheese and a quesadilla. Both used real cheddar cheese and not American cheese and the flavor showed. Everyone should make a stop here at least once!!!

WOW!! What a find while bouncing around antique stores! Amazing quality food. Had the Cuban Club with potato salad - super delicious! Don't even get me started on the cookies and brownie.
