A friend recommended this place. Today, my whole family were driving up to Fairbanks from Anchorage and we stop at this place. Great service, and amazing food. I definitely recommend this place but make sure check there hours. They have different hours depending on the season.

Was recommended to camp in Healy and I'm so glad I did. Waking up that morning I had the longing for that home cooked breakfast my aunt would make. Growing up in California, the French toast is thin and hashbrowns are about the quarter size of a regular plate. At Rose's Cafe, you are served food to not just fill your hungry belly, but with the quality only home cooked meals can have. Returning for breakfast everytime I'm back in town. See you next season!

The service was fast and friendly and the food was good (burger and hash browns really hit the spot). Inside this unassuming building is a small homely dining area with photos of Alaskan animals and John Wayne on the walls. And there's the faint smell of grease which isn't bad but you know you'll smell a bit like fried food when you leave! Only real con; there's OAN playing a bit too loudly on TV in the corner of the room but maybe that's a pro to others!

Holy cow are the pancakes huge! But man is this place good. Nothing like a huge breakfast before hitting Denali for a hike. The service was quick and food tasted good and was at a reasonable price given the price gouging that exists at other places in the area.

This cafe is family owned & off the state highway 3. Its has lots of parking space and this cafe is near to Denali National Park entrance. We tried pan cake & veggie omelet, they were awesome. If you love spicy food, ask for their special homemade pickle (chutney).

Rose's Cafe is hit or miss with service, usually miss unless you get Rose, then you're golden. The lead server always seems stressed out, and that trickles down to the other servers and even into the kitchen. The food is good, typical American food. Prices are Alaska expensive, but not terrible compared to the touristic places in Denali. Donuts are nice and chewy, coffee is perfect to wake you up, Sourdough is delicious. I go here maybe once a month to get my Americana fix.

I've been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. The Grizzly Burger is delicious, and you get a picture on the wall for completing the challenge. The staff is also super friendly which makes an already enjoyable experience so much better

We had dinner one night and liked it so much we went back for breakfast. Loved the ham and cheese omelet, perfectly crispy hashbrowns and country fried steak. The chocolate malts have lots of malts. YUM! And the kid pancake is as big as a kid.

What a great breakfast!!!! It's not every day you find pancakes as large as most pizzas. Or stuffed omelettes over an inch thick. I'd recommend Rose's Cafe to everyone. In fact I do. We have over 80 guests daily at our RV Park and we tell them all to go to Rose's Cafe.

Rose's Cafe was recommended by one of the Denali Park Rangers. If you want to eat where some of the locals eat and have a good simple homemade meal I totally recommend Rose's Cafe. She will also pack you a lunch if you take a bus ride into Denali.

This is hands-down the best breakfast in Healy! The "Healy special" was our favorite and we added a side of biscuits and gravy. Sooooo delicious ! I came here on my birthday and I was happy with the food, but the server spent all her time BSing with a customer and looked at you like you were rude for interrupting her to ask for more water. There is nothing special about the place. It's a stop on the parks Highway that I wouldn't waste my time to even pull over for again, let alone think about bringing your family to celebrate any occasion lol.

Rose's is always a good time for some home cooked breakfast. Of course it isn't a five star establishment, but the food it first rate! They have pancakes bigger than the plate and a delicious breakfast burrito covered in gravy. Their large portions ensure that I always leave feeling stuffed.

This place is amazing for breakfast. The portions will get you set for a day of hiking through Denali. The sourdough donuts are huge and the breakfast burrito is an unwritten contract to exercise for at least 6 hours. Indoor and outdoor (screened) seating.

Certainly my favorite spot to eat in the Denali area and a favorite of the rest of the locals as well. Open year round with breakfast all day! Great staff, great food with good portions. Plenty of parking space for semi trucks, campers and everything inbetween. Indoor and outdoor seating, Wi-Fi, fresh coffee all day, regular fresh baked bread and home made salsa. Come as you are, feel welcome and leave satisfied.

Rose treated us like family in her quiet, small cafe. She greeted us when we walked in the door and made small talk. The young waiter brought us water, including a cup with a lid and straw for our 10-month old, she came following behind with a pair of scissors to snip the straw to make it easier for him to drink. It was like having my mom there! When she came to take our order, I told her I didn't feel well since I was pregnant, she helped me pick food off the menu and suggested some peppermint tea (for which she didn't charge us). It's a small menu, like diner food, but it's definitely where locals and tourists eat. The other dining option had a 45-minute wait and seemed to cater to tourists (the host was kind there too, but we needed food fast). We were so happy that we chose Rose's.

Very good food and great service! On vacation from Illinois near the Chicagoland area [i.e., food snobs :)]. Love the diner atmosphere and good-sized portions. Hoping to go back before we leave. I had the bacon omelette with home fries and sour dough bread. The home made salsa was very good, definitely has a kick to it. I agree with a previous post that the prices in Alaska are expensive in general but you get a lot more here than the tourist places in Denali.

We travel a lot and I do get tired of diners and cafes sometimes. To often everything tastes the same. No imagination or concern for quality. Well this is not the case at Rose's Cafe. Everything matters here! Taste, friendliness, quality and imagination! How about freshly made sourdough carmel doughnuts? And apparently they make sauerkraut pie. We'll have to try that next time. And, yes, there will be a next time even though it is 3654 miles from home. Oh, and don't forget to try the house made salsa. I am completely addicted!

A local favorite - Rose's was recommended by several folks. Good, basic food options. We had a patty melt with side salad and Monte Cristo sandwich with onion rings. They mixed the order up a bit (put my onion ring order on hubby's plate, but we're flexible and I just ate them off his plate. Monte Cristo was different, it was French Toast filled with ham and melted cheese and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Server was friendly and attentive and food was good. Nothing fancy, but nice views out the window.

This is definitely not a “5 Star Restaurant” per say however, Rose’s doesn’t deserve anything less. EVERYTIME we go to Denali park we have to stop by here if they are open. It’s not that the food is to die for, it’s just very at home feeling. Staff is always more than pleasant and the food is your average diner meal. I will say I’ve never been displeased with the freshness, quality, or quantity of food for the price. You can really tell they care about the local population around Denali just by sitting in the dinning area and seeing how the staff interacts with people.
