My favorite cafe. Best service and most amazing food. Did I mention fresh coffee that's roasted on site. My go to is their biscuits and gravy and their cinnamon rolls. Now they have a drive through Mon-Friday for coffee and pastries. Amazing great spot to come in and experience local hospitality as it's finest. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice and will provide amazing service. My favorite spot locally.

Michael Stoltze

The Stoltze family spent mothers day with Suzan Alyce"Mielkie" Stoltze at the old Chugiak Post office , now the Chugiak Cafe. The restaurant is located in Old Chugiak on the Old Glenn Hwy. Once the only road out of Anchorage north , besides the Alaska RR. It was a major stopping point on a trip to Palmer in the 50,60s from Anchorage. It's always a treat to eat out , but this Cafe is really special , the interior and exterior are decorated with aviation and Alaskan history , photos of Paul Swanson and his family. Even had a photo of one of my elder siblings. You get good food , friendly helpful service. Thank you to the owner operator for sharing your ice cream with my mother. Happy mother's day to all you Chugiak Cafe Mother's....

Dale Packard

michael stoltze

Matthew Scott

The menu is small but the food is great. The biscuits and gravy are on point and those mini cinnamon waffles are amazing. Some on here have said they only take cash, this is NOT true. They do take card, you just have to tell them what tip you want before they run it.

Kristina O'Mara

We love everything about this place; from the old timey decor, to the amazing food, to the old timey owner, Trig. The Chugiak Cafe has a quaint small town appeal with open hearts and now an expanded restaurant with a roastery. We frequent here often and recommend it to everyone. Trig's specialty homemade Biscuits and Gravy and the Bacon Waffles are our families favorite dishes. Come try out Chugiak Cafe, you'll be happy you did!
