Very neat and cute set up. A must try. Is it the best restaurant out there ,no but it's still good. And how many times have you and your spouse sat in the car and neither one of you can't figure out where to eat cause your burnt out eating the same places. Well now you can try something new and won't be disappointed. Worth the try.

Serving breakfast and lunch, come enjoy a home cooked meal in a home type atmosphere. I had the Red Door Burger with a side of potato salad. The burger was certainly unique with it's cheese sauce and ciabatta bread. I tend to like bolder flavors though so I wasn't impressed but it was still tasty. The burger was cooked well and the potato salad was ok but nothing spectacular.

Very nice setting, in a small house, with artwork on the walls. Relaxed but efficient service. Very nice staff. Lots of breakfast and brunch offerings, with daily specials. I had the grilled tilapia with greens and bread pudding, yum! Note: closes at 2pm.

The Red Door has excellent meals breakfast and lunch. I personally LOVE their home cooking style.All the staff from Angie in the kitchen to Amanda the waitress are both professional and friendly.The owner is friendly and attentive. The regulars that are there are so friendly! ! Best morning cup of coffee in town.

Honest review from a local. So it was the three of us and a child. This place is right around the corner from my house...i was hoping the food would be spectacular. It wasnt. My friend loved her single pattied regular burger, my other friend said his traditional burger was just mediocre and my mushroom swiss tasted like something rancid had been thrown on it. I did get it with a different cheese and maybe they don't use that cheese very often, or maybe the basil aoili?! I dunno...something was off and I know it wasn't the meat because I ate some of the meat with nothing on it and it was great. It's a really cute place though. Service was good. Place was clean. Bathrooms were tidy, no changing table though. So that was very awkward for me...or at least there wasn't a changing table in the ladies bathroom. Wish they had fries. Ranch dressing was not good (at least for me) but once again a salad isn't a traditional side item here. They do have high chairs so that's a plus. That's something I was kind of worried about before we got there. Moral of the story, order the food the way it comes on the menu.

Me and my mom has went there one time and my mom is 80years old and she does not remember much and it's been a year well guess what? She stills remember and one of the things she talks about is how good the coffee is and my mom loves coffee so if she said it's good then it's good thanks and god bless!!!!!

This is one of my favorite local places! The owners ate very nice and have a genuine sense of humor and promote strong core family values. The decor and setting is perfect for breakfast/brunch! My daughter had green eggs and ham for the first time here! We couldn't find it via Google maps so once we made it there we showed the gentleman that owns it how to update it and he was grateful! Hands down best place around for spectacular food and customer service!

I had the traditional hamburger and it was very tasty. Also I liked the potato salad. My husband had the hamburger steak dinner and he enjoyed it very much. Besides the good food, the waiting staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Clean, neat restaurant. A lot of pictures on their walls depicting the history of Cullman, for example the pix of the old Cullman Co courthouses. Really quiet , pleasant atmosphere.

My husband and I were recently visiting the area and ate breakfast here after seeing good reviews for it on Yelp. We had omelets, grits, toast, a hash brown, and coffee. There was plenty of food on the plate, the omelet was really good and the grits had great creamy flavor and nice texture. Definitely stood out amongst your usual bland grits that you get most places. Hash brown and toast could use more...toasting... but everything was great! Their lunch menu looked GREAT, specially the fish tacos (we don't eat meat, but we eat fish) and I can't wait to try it this weekend when I go back to visit the area! I highly recommend this place. Staff is SUPER nice, the whole atmosphere is super happy, upbeat, and pleasant. A man that I assumed is the owner came in with a big smile and greeted everyone. The waitress was very sweet. Good stuff all around!

One of Cullman's "hidden treasures"! Excellent homemade, Southern food!! They offer traditional " Sunday" fixin's on the days that they are open. As well as, a nice selection of homemade sandwiches, and burgers. The service is second to NONE, and the owner is very friendly. But, what moved me the most about this cozy, hometown place, is that the majority of money that is made is given to local charities! There is an excellent written explanation of everything, as you walk in to order, detailing the why and how, of the charitable donations. I love the fact that it is located in a renovated older house, complete with the wooden floors! I also enjoyed the fact that they offer long tables, if you would like to take the time to sit and chat with your "neighbor" and meet new folks! Now if that isn't your cup of tea, they do offer smaller, private tables, as well. The only thing that I wish were different, is the hours of service, they close by 3 pm so dinner is not an option.. but, I am not complaining, bc they have an excellent thing working here, and all for a worthy cause, and they are giving of their own personal time freely, and lovingly. I believe that their are only a very small handful of folks preparing and serving this wonderful food, so kudos, to them for a job well done!!

I believe that the high rating that drew me here is for their super sweet staff, community oriented mission statement, clean and roomy dining room. There is nothing wrong with the food. I had breakfast and it was prepared well. But the quality of the ingredients is what I think could have brought it up to a 3 from my 2 (the accoutrements and condiments are from like Family Dollar). 3 in my book means you get what you pay for, and though I would enjoy coming for the charm I don't think I would be a regular diner. Again, nothing wrong with it. The prices are not unreasonable from my perspective. If I lived here I'd totally come for coffee or a muffin to feel like a part of the community, but it doesn't draw me as a place to go out for a meal.

Kinda pricey, but it was a delish Aloha Burger. The cup size could use an improvement so you don't have to ask for a refill after two sips. The waitress told me the house made side items all have onions or are sweet - which I loathe - but potato chips are available. This will a place I visit every couple months, mainly because of my work schedule and their open hours conflict.
