Ron and Nicole came to our rescue when we moved into our new apartment. The landlord had sprinkled the carpet with a deodorizer that triggered an intense allergic reaction. When we approached the landlord, asking what was used, he informed us that we had "signed the lease" and refused to assist us any further.
