We had a kitty urinate on our couch. He said he should be able to get it up since it was only once incident. The receipt then said, would not guarantee odor removal. Now that the humidity is back, the odor has returned. I chose to retreat. I found lots of dirt still in the furniture. Contacted Dennis, he promptly refunded my money.

We called on a Saturday afternoon to have our couch cleaned after the cat decided to ruin an attached cushion. Dennis arrived that same day, maybe 2 hours after we called, and gave us a quote. $80 to do the cleaning and time frame of about 1 hour. He got right to work and did several rounds of cleaning until the odor was gone and actual spot were not visible (dark couch helped). He cleaned the entire couch not just the spot; it looks wonderful! Our house doesn't smell like chemicals...or anything like it did a of couple hours ago! (he left about 30min ago). Just make sure you have some fans available because the couch is saturated from the steam and will take some time to dry. Thanks for saving our couch Dennis!!!

I had a dining room chair that ended up with a blood stain on it. I tried cleaning it myself, leaving a huge water stain in its place. I called on Monday morning and Dennis came out within 2 hours. He let me know up front that the stains may not come out 100%, so I appreciated his honesty and transparency. He not only cleaned the one chair, but all 6. They look so much better than they have in years. I'm very grateful to have found Dennis and will use his services again soon!

After the other guy cancelled on me via text and informed me they wouldn't honor my Groupon, I found Mr. Steam and Dennis got there within 90 minutes to take care of my carpets. Was completely throwing back by the attitude of the receptionist. I called to recieve a quote for our condo and she would not stop yelling at me on how she didn't need to justify their quote. She said the prices on the website are accurate but there is a minium that needs to be met. I completely understand that aspect of a business but the fact that she continued to raise her voice and yell at me over and over I refused to do business with them.

The Winner is Mr. Steam!. Our carpet is 27 years old, but is a good grade of carpet and pad, and after 3 children and numerous dogs, they still look nice. For the first 15 years we used a variety of cleaners, and with varying results. Our 2 dogs , now 1 dog, is a factor for having the carpet cleaned 1 to 2 times a year. As the dogs age, the accidents become common occurances, and most of the previous carpet cleaners left residual pet stains in the carpet. We pretty much accepted it as a fact of life. Mr steam changed that for us, and after the very first cleaning, most of the residual pet stains disappeared. Only the worst nightmare of a stain leaves a residual now, but those disappear over time with further visits from Mr. Steam. We're talking serious dog do-do and wee-wee cleaned to 95-98% the first time and gone the 2nd visit. The other reason for this rating is that Dennis and Dick have rarely ever said, sorry, we cant make that window of time. There may have been 1 time in 10 years, and approx 15 cleanings, where they couldn't accomodate us. For the most part, they seem to bend over backwards to make a time period work for both of us. I'm sold on Mr. Steam. Technically, i know only that it is a steam process that they use, but in my experience, steaming seems the most effective and efficient method compared to the other carpet cleaners that have been through this house.

Dennis scheduled a cleaning with me within 24 hours of the first call. The house I just purchased had a carpet that had pet, food, paint, dirt, wax...I don't know what else...stains all over it. I told Dennis not to worry too much about the stains, just to clean it for peace of mind until I could find the time to replace it. When they were done I couldn't have been more impressed...they somehow got nearly everything up, and the need to replace the carpet just got bumped to the bottom of my to-do list. They'll be my go-to carpet cleaning service from here on out, without a doubt. If you're reading this Dennis, thank you again!

DO NOT use this company! My experience with them was horrible, to say the least. Here is a summary: 1. They didn't show up! 2. They offered to clean my carpets free (I'd have to pay tax) for my inconvenience, which made them seem like a great business. 3. They charged my card the entire amount ($126) without telling me. 4. When I saw the charge on my bank account and called to inquire, the woman on the phone proceeded to YELL at me over the phone. Save yourself a headache and a lot of frustration! Prompt, professional, and thorough! Needed to get some week old vomit stains out of the carpet and was able to schedule service the next day. The person I talked to, Dennis, was courteous, professional, and really knew his stuff. I was particularly impressed by how thorough their steam cleaning was--they did a great job not only with the stains and problem areas, but also the rest of the living room, tight corners, and areas that normally don't see daylight. --Didn't know how dirty the place was till I saw it clean! Mr. Steam has been cleaning our carpets for at least 15 years and has always done a great job, as well as being kind, courteous and efficient. Last week's cleaning, however, was a new high! Over the past year or so since our last cleaning, our new-to-us rescue dog who was not well house-trained, had soiled the carpet quite a few times. Despite my best efforts at damage control, stains remained. In came Mr. Steam, however, and--all gone! I've never enjoyed looking at our carpets with more satisfaction.

We moved into a highly soiled carpeted home the previous residents had a dog the carpet had a lot of stains and the carpet was terrible. It was an off white carpet so any amount of dirt that was dropped you could see it right away. I looked into carpet cleaners to rent but I didn’t want to clean such a large amount and not know what I was doing. I stumbled upon Mr Steam and I called I got my estimate and we set up a date, I was nervous because you just never know if you are going to get what you pay for but they did such and AMAZING job on our carpet. It looks better than it did when we moved in. Throughout the process they were asking for us to check it out and to make sure we liked and approved of the job. They gave us tips on how to keep up with the clean carpet I would 100% recommend!!!

It had been in the basement for years and was one of my cats favorite spots to snooze on, so it was quite hairy and dirty. Karen was very helpful on the phone and told me in detail what to expect when their cleaning men arrived at my house. I had two carpeted rooms and a couch and recliner to clean, and I was given a price and a discount on the whole package that was very reasonable and $25.00 less than I paid a different company last year.
