Called Shenandoah Air and I requested Trey Conner again, the first time our Thermostat quit working and Trey came out and he was very knowledgeable about his job he fixed our problem less than 10 minutes and we were thankful for that but he also explain how it works. I called them again today and had Trey come out, he called to let me know he was finished with his other job, that he would be there earlier, that's the kind of people you need to show respect and great service, he explain our system has been running for almost 13 years and it still has a couple of more years let and he also gave us brochures on the unit I was thinking about replacing it with and explained the different types. They refused to honor my warranty because I did not have the receipt for the purchase of the a/c unit even though it was confirmed that the unit is under warranty. I called the manufacturer, they said they never requested the receipt, so they found a hvac contractor for me and now they are shipping the parts to repair the a/c unit. Thanks Shenandoah for leaving a cancer patient family in the heat to die. Thats not a good way to treat your fellow citizen. If your policy to honor a warranty is to get the purchase receipt of the a/c unit, it needs to be revised so you can help customers like me who lost their receipt. Also, your company is losing money, even though I have warranty I still have to pay for labor and refrigerants which would be about $700.

I was having major air flow issues about 3 years ago. I was referred by a friend of mine to speak with Chuck Spalding at Shenandoah. After I did he was nothing but helpful. We were able to get my old unit running a bit longer than it should but he did tell me it would give again sometime soon. After it did and I was ready to invest in a better unit, he took a look at my needs offered a variety of units. I then settled for a mid range priced Trane unit which was bigger plus more effective then my last unit and it has worked very well. He has even answered all my questions I have had since then. Also when I call to get regular service on my unit done the staff is friendly, timely and efficient.

Dennis was awesome! Received a call when he was on the way, showed up at the time scheduled, all in the same day as setting up the service call. He found the problem in our heat pump and fixed it and was on his way all in 30 minutes. That only comes with knowledge, shows he knows what he is doing. Very professional. Thanks!

We were so impressed with Shenandoah Air! They were professional all the way! Had water coming into the house from overflow pan and Mike quickly diagnosed the problem, kept us informed, and told us what needed to be done. He returned the next day with help and took care of the issue, as well as added preventative measures so it wouldn't happen again! We will definitely use them again!

Shenandoah installs top-notch equipment, yet their prices are fair. Trust me on this because we needed not one, but two, new HVAC systems in the past few years. I did a lot of comparison shopping and investigating the most reliable brands of equipment. Shenandoah technicians show up when they are supposed to, and they call or text to let you know they are on their way. Trey came out today to do some detective work to sort out one of our units that stopped working. He was really careful handling the ladder to avoid damage to the walls. He identified the problem quickly and repaired it. Everything was covered under warranty. Also Rochelle and Heather who handle phone calls and scheduling are courteous and efficient. Thanks!

I've had nothing but great experiences with this company. I gave them a call after being shot a ghost for several months on a humidifier by another company that rhymes with Jay & Elle. Not only did I get a cheaper quote and had it installed a couple of months later, when we thought we had a problem with it later they came and took a look at it for free, found nothing wrong with it, and didn't charge us for the visit. Keep up the good work!

Our whole experience with this company - from bid to finish - went perfect! Their quote to replace our duct work was right in the middle of 3 bids, and we're so happy we went with them. The sheetmetal mechanics, Patrick and Martin, were on-time every day, worked hard and also worked very well together, were courteous and professional, and they cleaned up after themselves each day. We work from home and thought the experience would be super disruptive, but thanks to these guys it was a piece of cake (and we are so much more comfortable throughout our house!). Thanks, guys!!

Zero stars for Shenandoah AC. I called for diagnosis and repair to my unit as it was not able to keep up with the heat. The Tech was on site for approx. 30 mins. He hooked up his gauges to my outdoor unit and said that the refrigerant was reading low. He said I would need to replace my unit due to its age. No further diagnostics were performed. He did not check voltage or amp draw on either the outside or inside unit. They charged me $95 for this service. (3) days later my electrical panel caught fire due to a bad circuit breaker and high amp draw from the compressor. Luckily, I was home to extinguish the fire and call the fire department. I have since had to replace my entire electrical panel and have another A/C contractor up to check my unit. Refrigerant levels tested normal. Correct diagnosis was the bad circuit breaker and a bad sequencer which was turning on my emergency heating element in the inside unit ($15 part). I would not trust this company.

Purchased my Trane Heat pump sys†em 3 years ago from Shenandoah Air Conditional & Heating and they come out twice a year. Jimmy H. came out today, he did an excellent job checking out the cooling system for the up coming summer season. I glad I got my system from them.

They failed to show up at the designated time, didn't have the decency to call and say they were running late/not coming. If you are looking for a company that is customer service oriented - go somewhere else!

Shenandoah recently completed a rather large ductwork and heat pump install in our house. After receiving multiple bids on the job, Shenandoah came in with the best price and highest service combination of other local HVAC companies. Tina was amazing to work with and gladly handled our many (many, many, many) changes! :) We were also thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and commitment to get the job done right by Bryon and his installers. The team did an amazing job and ensured that all duct work was tucked high into the basement ceiling, vents were well placed, and everything was cleanly installed. Our daily KWH usage has been drastically reduced after switching from baseboard heat to a new high efficiency heat pump and our home temperature has never been so comfortable. Using multiple dampers, a single heat pump and thermostat, Shenandoah was able to successfully get all rooms in our 2 story house including a bonus room above our garage within 2 degrees of each other! This is a testament to proper duct sizing, engineering and calculations by the team. We couldn't be more happy with the process and outcome of this job, and would HIGHLY recommend Shenandoah for your next heating and cooling project!!

No stars!!!! I called them, they came out changed out the thermostat, checked everything and left. Have me a $500.00bill. The next day, I was having the same problems! They came a total of 4 times! The air conditioner would shut off after running for a while and eventually it quit altogether. I was told, "you don't know how to work this thermostat, Mame" Really?!! I called another company, they found they problem in10 minutes and it's fixed! Shenandoah is expensive and they're don't stand behind the work. Big time rip off company!

He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and produced a solution which included several options, explaining them thoroughly. In fact, he went through the whole thing twice: once for me and then again on the phone for my husband. In the way of background Shenandoah installed my system over 13 years ago. I used them for annual service for awhile but later became disenchanted with their lever of service and the knowledge of their techs. This started my years of searching of the good company to service my system. I only had one very small company who I was satisfied with but their one and only technician left the company. His replacement was less then stellar. I tried four other companies and all of them were mediocre. Accordingly, I called Shenandoah back to service my system. The experience from the young lady I talked to when I called to the technician, Mike W., have been nothing but outstanding. Mike went out of his way to explain the condition of my system and performed some minor adjustments. I am highly impressed with Mike's level of aptitude and attitude. He is a great asset to the company. I sure hope he stays there for many years to come. Given the age of my system, It will not be long before I will be looking for a new system. I am certain Shenandoah will be my selection for the replacement.

Very quick to schedule maintenance visits. Excellent work during service call. On an earlier service visit, although not a part of the HVAC service call, Dennis identified a propane leak in our fireplace gas log set which we had fixed immediately by our propane provider.

Great Company and locally owned! My central AC unit that was over 22 years old and was leaking/failing. I got 3 quotes, including a local big box store to replace the unit with a new high efficiency. Not only was Shenandoah air cheaper by a wide margin I was able to get a 20 SEER unit and the highest the other companies could offer at the time was a 15 SEER. They showed up on time and it was installed in one day! Final price was exactly what they estimated and I know they had to do some extra work to get the air handler into the attic. I have had them back for a service call and to install a new unit in my garage with the same results! Highly recommend Shenandoah Air!

I had a new Daikin heat pump installed several years ago. I called in the past and complained that my heat bill was as high as the old broken pump. I use a gas fire place for additional heat. When Trey and started to do his service check I explained this to him and mentioned that the red light for the emergency heating element never came on. When he looked at the thermostat he saw that the external heat sensor was not hooked up. Trey established an account and got it working. For that I am ecstatic. I am disappointed and upset that it had not been discovered earlier. Thank you Trey.

My initial contact with Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating was in late winter when my aging heat pump stopped working. They quickly diagnosed the cause and provided repair options to get it back up and running. I also asked for a system replacement estimate (the current system was origami/builders grade and approaching 20 years old). Though I elected for a lower cost fix, I ultimately decided it was time to invest in a new HVAC system a few months later. I have been positively blown away at how much better the environment in my house has been and at a higher temperature setting. Superior dehumidifier function I believe is what Dean and the installation team said would be one of the differences I would notice. Lower humidity during the summer has been a wonderful benefit! The installation team was great! They provided great information, periodic updates during the course of the day, and left the work area spotless. Shenandoah Air Conditioning and has fully validated my decision to do business with it.

Highly recommend Shenandoah heating and air conditioning. From the front desk staff to the technician Trey they provided top notch customer service. Our thermostat went out and even after attempting to replace the unit it was still not working. We called Shenandoah and they were able to schedule a same day service call. Trey arrived before the scheduled arrival window. He did call to make sure that was ok first. When he arrived he greeted us and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He replaced the fuse and throughly checked over the unit and completed install of the thermostat. We could not have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable individual. Shenandoah puts the customer first. Service fees are more than reasonable. When we need service in the future, Shenandoah will be our first call and we will recommend them to others as well.
