I used Molly Maid before and I had a terrible experience, I found them in a crunch after a previous bad experience I thought it was a one-off so decided to give them another shot. This time, I made sure I had all the proof I needed just in case. This was a different city and different franchise so I was hoping for the best. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I told them that I needed cleaning done for 1.5 hours. I told my current tenants to clock the time and make sure you write down what they did (previously they lied about their time). Sure enough, my tenant says they did not go over the time which is exactly what I paid for. Since I did not get a call for authorizing more time, I thought everything was fine. This is until I get the receipt charging me for more than the agreed amount. This time though, I was prepared. From my previous experience, I was told that the cleaners will call about 30 minutes prior to authorize more time as per policy before continuing work: Even though my current tenant took notes and times down for when they started the service and what they did, I was still overcharged and was never called to authorize more time. I am not sure why they try to get one over on their customers. Just do the job and call if you need to authorize something more based on your own policy. I recorded the conversations as well proving all of this thankfully. Be wary of using Molly Maids in Northern VA. Do yourself a favor and work with a more ethical company. I have recorded everything and will be filing a claim with my bank because for some reason you cannot reach the main corporate office headquarters. Edit: The response below is a complete lie. My tenants did not approve anything not to mention I am supposed to be called to approve more time and no one else since I am the one paying for the service. It was unauthorized. Again my tenants told me and showed me everything, this is a complete lie

I am pleased with my Molly Maid service once a month. My house is vacuumed, dusted, floors mopped, and kitchen and bathrooms cleaned until they sparkle. While English is a second language for most of the cleaning staff who service my place, I have never had difficulty communicating with them, and they always gradp my instructions.

There were a few areas I thought would be included in the first session which is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, however with the areas that were addressed we couldn't be happier :)

Maria and Vicki came today for the initial clean. I cant believe the difference they made in such a short time. They cleaned our office, that's a converted house, and hit every nook and cranny there is. Even the desks sparkled! It is very rare these days as a consumer to feel like you get what you pay for. In this case we feel we got way more than we paid for. Very reasonable rates, extremely punctual and very professional. Keep up the good work ladies!

We have been using Molly Maid for many years. We might move from one home to another but we always take them with us. I have been in a jam when unexpected company gives us short notice saying can we come early. The first thing my wife does is call Molly Maids. They always find a way to fit us in. Our dogs like the crew so much it's like family has arrived. Lastly they have cleaned my business at times when needed. And most of the time I find I need them on short notice. Again they always get the job done. They take pride in there work. I would recommend them to anyone. And I already have.

They have horrible communication/notification practices. After they showed up out of the blue one morning that I happened to be off work, I let them come in because I was there - but to have their scheduler call me because I need to know in advance when they are coming. The next time I was not there and told by a family member that they were at the door. NO prior notification. So here we are 6 weeks later and AGAIN, out of the blue I get told by a family member that they are at the door again. This time I called them, only to be told that their notification systems have been down. Seriously? That's your answer? Like you don't have my contact information and someone can't take the initiative to call the client the day before to let them know that this cleaning service will be showing up the next day at whatever time? No, thank you. That's not good enough. I will not be using their services again. The cleaning was decent, but the communication is lacking.

The services were decent for the first month then they got lazy. I called and told them what they left dirty or did a half way job on cleaning the manager then told me they are terminating the services and to find someone else. Marta and Cristina provided me their cleaning services today and now my house looks fantastic! The bathtubs, the showers, the sinks, the counter tops, and the floor were all scrubbed and are spotless! They dusted off and vacuumed the furniture, vacuumed the carpeting, cleaned the windows, mopped the hardwood floors, and basically cleaned anything that was dirty. They even made the beds and cleaned the dirty dishes in the sink. I've been using Molly Maid for 10 years now, and I'll continue to use them for all of my house cleaning needs! They're second to none!

I was so pleased as a single woman in a townhouse with Molly Maid Woodbridge/Burke that after I got engaged and we bought a new house together, we employed them again in our new house! My husband has come to love them as much as I do. Not only for regular cleaning but for a deep clean before we moved in as well as a deep clean to my townhouse before I sold it (in less than 24 hours). With various contractors in both houses for 3-4 weeks, they were a mess. After they left, they both sparkled! I have been with them for probably 15/20 years and have had just excellent service. The team that cleans for us (Reina & Isaura) are great, they clean thoroughly and are always cheerful and polite. Carmen & Veronica in the office are a delight to speak with. Just a great organization to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional cleaners.

I have used Molly Maid of Woodbridge/Burke for more than a year now. Overall, my experience has been a good one. However, they do NOT act upon complaints or concerns in a consistent manner. When I asked for a change in maids, I got one. It lasted one or two services and then I am sent the same maids that I had before....The ones I asked to be changed. This has happened three times now. Some glassware was broken at my home and several pieces of furniture were damaged, but not paid for or repaired/replaced, although brought to their attention. It saddens me that I cannot keep the maids I choose and instead am continuously given the maids I have asked to be replaced.

I live across the country and arranged maid service for my parents VA. Carmen came out to the house to do an assessment and estimate give my folks a good understanding of what would happen next. On the day of the first cleaning, Molly Maids Team 15 (Lorena and Maria) came for the initial clean and did a fantastic job. Despite some initial confusion about arrival time (they showed up early) they got right to work and did a thorough job spending a total of 4-5 hours to really get the house back in shape. They were pleasant and worked with my dad using products he provided to address his concerns about cleaning the hardwood floors. My parents have never had maid service before and remarked how professional the Molly Maids team was and how great everything looked. We look forward to having Lorena and Maria come regularly to keep the house in order and address a couple of additional rooms once they are de-cluttered. Farah & Rosa do a fantastic job cleaning our house. Their attention to detail and pride in doing a good job are rare in this day and age. For example, I have seen them cleaning our floors on their hands and knees. Also, they do extra things for us, such as fold the end our toilet paper and tissue. It is such a relief to come home to our clean house after work. Finally, they are trustworthy which is very important to use since they usually clean our house while we're at work. Left a flyer for me to throw away on my door right next to an incredibly obvious "No Soliciting" sign so given the fact that they are a) breaking county law by soliciting at a home that has a "no soliciting" sign, b) clearly aren't able or willing to follow simple instructions, and c) have in fact left me trash to throw away, I would never for a second even consider hiring them.

The worst service ever--be warned. All the 5 star reviews must be a fraud. Management and the cleaning crews of this company are completely unsatisfactory. I coordinated for them to clean our house in preparation for rental tenants to move in. I specifically chose this company and the Woodbridge office based on the supposed 5 star reviews. My wife and I could not have regretted our decision more, especially because they were very expensive, and the quality was horrible. First, I had to reclean all of our bathrooms, showers, toilets, and floors. They hardly use any decent bathroom or kitchen cleaners, and what they did use was very little; basically wiped with water and towels. Terrible attention to detail and lazy. My 9 year old son cleans better. Secondly, we have 40 year-old well cared for wooden floors that we had refinished last year. One would assume that a professional service knows how to properly address dark hardwood floors. At a minimum, that should first, begin by talking to the customer on exactly how they will clean hardwood floors--before doing anything. That didn't happen. I left them to finish cleaning the house-kitchen and bathrooms while I ran a short errand of about 20minutes, only to return to the two ladies with mopps and large bucket of water, mopping our wooden floors with soap and water; standing water was everywhere. UNBELIEVABLE! who does this! They could barely speak english so we asked them to have their manager call us. The response from the Molly Maid manager was, "that is how we clean wooden floors". They offered no apology and made ZERO effort to assist with a professional wood floor service to repair/assess damage or any compensation. Wow. Horrible customer service. The end result: we had to have a professional hard wood floor company fix the damage done. Response to Owner: First, yes, your QC supervisor as well as your office manager said, "water and mopp" is how we clean wooden floors. Secondly, "your QC supervisor's assessment of standing water (we immediately addressed with putting towels on the floor and my wife immediately stopped the ladies from further mopping of our wooden floors) results in a "nothing is wrong assessment"--hence this review. The QC supervisor didn't see any standing water because my wife and I had to immediately address it with towels to prevent further damage. And again, ZERO effort was extended to have the floors dried out and assessed by a TRUE third party professional wood floor company, and a subsequent follow up damage assessment.

April 2019 . Christina and Marta have been cleaning my house for many years. I have been very happy. They do an excellent job, especially in the rooms that are most important to me-my bathrooms and kitchen. They are always friendly and polite, especially to my blind and gregarious dog. I have to admit that in attempting to clean and organize our messy house they sometimes put things in neat piles that drive my husband crazy but I appreciate the attempt to make my house look neater. I wouldn't change anything. I recommend them to anyone.
