I had a one-time cleaning done on my long-overdue home and the ladies that came did an excellent job. They were friendly and hard-working, and my house looked great afterwards. I was very impressed and I received several compliments from family and friends on how good everything looked. Unfortunately, it was very expensive. It took almost twice as long as the estimate I received (these things happen, my house was a mess), and they charge by the hour for one-time cleanings, so it added up. Again, these things happen, it's why it's just an estimate, but I did want to get that out.
Cleaning-wise, I would definitely give them 5 stars. I ended up only being able to give 4 stars though, due to the price, as well as the pushiness afterwards. I was hoping to set up a reoccurring cleaning afterwards, but the biweekly and monthly cleaning costs I was given after were about a third higher than the estimate I was given so I did not sign up, wanting to weigh my options. However, two weeks later I had a knock at my door and it was Molly Maid for a cleaning I did not schedule. I called and explained I had not yet decided about a reoccurring cleaning as I was figuring out my budget, which was kindly received. However, I received a reminder email a week later saying I had a cleaning scheduled and to confirm to avoid a possible cancelled cleaning fee. I would much more appreciate a call to talk about my options/decision rather than appointments being scheduled that I did not request.
I did think that their cleaning was excellent - but as I am considering my options, I do think that this pushiness is a factor that future clients should consider as well.
