Couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Merry Maids. Their cleaning service is always top notch and I am always comfortable with the staff cleaning my house. Recently I have been coordinating with a new management team who run their shop in tip top shape providing reliable service and are great with scheduling my cleaning. I will continue to use Merry Maids as reliable source for my cleaning needs.

The Merry Maids always show up when they are supposed to and they do an excellent cleaning job. It makes me smile to see the results of their work. Management has always done a great job and we have enjoyed being a customer for many years.

Absolutely horrible customer service! I hired them to do an apartment clean out (the stuff you personally don't want to do after a move). 1st they did not show up for the scheduled appointment time. So I called and was told they could not find my appointment. They scheduled me for am appointment later in the day. I went out that evening to inspect their work and found several things left undone. They had not cleaned all the baseboards, they had not wiped out the cabinets, done the blinds, fridge, all doors and had left one smaller closet undone. I of course called the next morning and was told they were "very sorry and perhaps could come out another day". I explained that the electric/water/gas had been shut off that morning as scheduled (as I explained to them when booking the appointment & again when I called because they had not shown up). The guy who worked there again said, he was sorry and would work out a price discount and call me back. I never heard from him and then this morning I see a charge on my card, so I call again. He tells me "things were left undone because we spent extra time cleaning the burners on your stove and wanted to keep your cost down". "We did not even charge you for the extra time"."So I felt a $35 discount is comparable." I told him, if more work hours were required all you would of had to do is call me. If you felt the work could not be finished that day, all you would of had to do was call me. He told me, "I have been 100 for 100 all week, sorry your experience was so bad". I had planned on hiring a service for bi-weekly service cleaning service of my new home, you can bet it won't be this company.

I've never used a cleaning service before, but things get hectic with a newborn. I contacted Merry Maids and they provide excellent service every time. They are always on time as scheduled and the staff is always pleasant. I highly recommend their services.

Kim and Nikki are THE best. Professional, courteous, meticulous, lovely women. My home has NEVER looked better. It smells amazing and sparkles like new. I used Merry Maids for a one time deep cleaning; my spouse and I both work and I was worried about spending money on something I could do myself. Realistically, to get my house as deep clean and nice as they did in the time they did it, it would have taken me a few days in bits and pieces around my hectic work schedule and commute (Both my husband and I work, and together we have 4 kids.) But Kim and Nikki were worth every single penny! Highly recommend.

Our rep, Tom, was great and thorough about the process and made us feel at ease with the deep clean our newly renovated home was going to have from Merry Maids. Unfortunately that’s not the service we received. Although it was not his fault he did have them come out a second time to finish the work but we were still not satisfied. And this morning we were charged more than we were quoted. Tom was great but we aren’t happy with the cleaning service we got.

They never called to say they were a day late, it looked like they were in a hurry to get a job done quick for the price. When called and complained they did a worse job on the 1st floor spent less than an hour I guess if you want the job done right you need to be home. They said they scrubbed but stains still there. Teenagers could not notice the difference.

One of the worst cleaning companies I have ever had to deal with. They came in to clean the house we were renting and hardly dusted. They had to come in twice and the second time they broke items and did not do the things we asked them to do. I ended up going back over everything they "cleaned" because it was still filthy. If I could take away stars, I would. Save your time and money. Use someone else who really cares about their job and doesn't trash talk other companies.

Fredericksburg Merry Maid was great! They showed up on time and were completely professional. The cleaners did a wonderful job on my townhome and we look forward to using them in the future.

I was given a 3 hour quote to clean my 2,000sqft home (over the phone).The crew was an hour late and did not call before arriving .They just showed up. Since I never received a courtesy call saying they would be late, I put my younger 2 little ones down for a nap. The crew had to start on the downstairs first. 2 hours later I was told they couldn't finish in time but could stay an extra 30 minutes and then finish up in the morning. I said OK and went to run errands. When I got back home and inspected their work I was upset. There was still dust/dirt on the baseboards, the cabinets and walls were not wiped down, there were cobwebs and dust still in the corners, and the outside of one of the tubs was not wiped down. The TV screen was poorly dusted and all the wall hangings were not touched, as with the entire upstairs ,except for the small bathroom. I was upset but since it was after hours I did not make a call to report The next morning I pointed out all that was wrong, they said they would fix it. They were supposed to stay about an hour and a half to finish. When I got back home, the crew was still there and NOTHING I requested to get fixed was done, aside from the bathrooms. They worked for 6 total HOURS and did a very shotty job. Dust was still in the corners, the window sills were not dusted well, baseboards were still not done, and nothing upstairs was finished. Dust was still on the hardwood floors, and the only area they did clean of the floor had residue spots. Since we are putting our home on the market to sell I specifically requested a "deep cleaning". THIS WASN'T DONE.I was upset when I was expected to make extra payment because they stayed over. I made a call to the manager. I explained what happened. I refused to pay for the full 6 hours of cleaning. She said I could pay for 3 hours. I agreed but only if I got a different crew to come back and clean my still dirty house. The manger refused to do so without extra charge. Do not EVER use this service unless you want poor quality and bad business
