People shouldn't be misconstrued about the actual "cleaning process." Prior to their visit, you have to vacuum your carpet, then they come in and "clean" with a buffer-like machine. This basically stirs the dirt, allergens, dust, and dander all over the place. Then after an hour of drying, the customer is supposed to "vacuum up the dirt." If the dirt is not extracted during the cleaning process, it is not actually cleaning. As a customer, you're honestly better off buying a professional carpet shampooing vacuum from Kohl's, or any other outlet, to do cleaning as often as you want. You'll save hundreds of dollars in the long run, and have a cleaner, healthier environment to live in.

I've been using the cleaning service for the past couple of years and originally when it was a smaller company the service was exceptional, they always went above and beyond to get things right and would return if they missed anything with no questions asked. Unfortunately as the company grew not all of the newer employees provided the same quality of cleaning, with having multiple occasions where items were not fully cleaned or requiring a repeat visit if I couldn't redo the cleaning myself. This occurred in my previous which required a repeat visit to complete the cleaning, and then this week they decided to send the same team lead to do my cleaning. On this visit a member carelessly slid around and bashed together items which resulted in damages. Originally when calling the company they stated they wanted to take care of it as they had in the past when there was a problem, but after speaking to their team lead they stated that I was the cause of the damage and they would accept no liability. I even created a video of their team leads claim as to how I could have caused the damage proving that where the damage occurred was impossible for me to have caused since they were handling the item directly in a way that caused the damage. However the company has provided no response, which is unfortunate since some members of their cleaning staff are very exceptional but it is like playing roulette with the quality of the cleaning and the potential damage to your items when using this company. I wish other customers better luck than my negative experience.

We left after showing the main man through the house & letting him know what I wanted cleaned... very professional crew!! I was embarrassed when we returned, didn't know that I was to vacuum, asked my husband because he had talked with the man that came out for Danny to show him around, he said I guess they do it, I could not find anything that was sent through email about vacuuming. But when email was sent about paying the extra money, it was in the final part about owners doing it!! I sent the email below, detailing our terrible experience, to 2 different surveys that Lambert sent, as well as a direct email to them. I never received a reply. When I finally spoke to someone in the office, I was told it was MY fault that their service was sub-par. She said she would ask the owner about discounting the service, but I never received a follow up on that either. I ended up having to pay the entire bill, then pay Stanley Steemer another $260 to come fix what Lambert has done to my new home. How this company is rated almost 5 stars is a mystery to me. Below is the email, detailing our experience: I had no idea, prior to treatment, that this was NOT an extraction process and that the cleaning solution was SO INCREDIBLY FRAGRANT. We were using your service to clean carpets in the home we just bought, before we moved in. The previous owners had two dogs that left hair everywhere. Not only did Lambert’s services not remove the hair, but now I have to go back over the carpets to vacuum it up! In my opinion, we received less than half of a carpet cleaning service. Why should I pay full price for sub-par service? You “cleaned” the carpet but didn’t vacuum or extract the dirt, grime and hair? I am also sensitive to fragrances and now cannot step foot in the house without getting a headache. The previous homeowner used air freshener and I was hoping to mitigate their scent a little by having the carpet cleaned. Boy was I wrong! The cleaning solution is soooo strong that it only added to the problem. I have had all of the windows open all day and it is still terrible. I now have to spend ANOTHER $200 to have Stanley Steemer come out and RE-clean the carpets. This is not an expense that you want, or anticipate, the week after you buy a home. We are so disappointed, as Lambert had such wonderful reviews. I would like to add, however, that the young man that serviced our home was wonderful. He was very polite and worked very hard.

Offered me cleaning package that unfortunately they couldn't provide. The people that showed to give my house a "deep cleaning" did work hard, but we're give only a few hours to finish the job. The package I purchased indicated that walls and vents would cleaned. They were not touched. There were other issues...I would recommend a different service.
