I hired The Power Washers to power wash my aluminum siding, prepping it to be painted. I got home and everything was clean, but the aluminum siding was still chalky and not in paint ready condition. The other major negative was that my outdoor Nest cam went out and the last image it showed was the employee shooting the power washer at my exterior outlet, which blew my gfci breaker. My nest cam would not turn on for the next couple days, but eventually returned to working condition.
Given my experience you are a probably wondering why I gave them 4 stars. Well, I called around, stating what I needed and The Power Washers gave the price of $225. I was in a rush when booking and probably should have specified more than stating I needed it clean for painting and asking he PSI of the pressure washer and what type of solution to be used. Not a lot of people know the prep for painting aluminum siding. The price should have raised the alarms for me because the cheapest price for actually pressure washing was $425. When I called and stated my problems, a manager came out offered to replace my camera and refunded me the project. So the four stars comes for doing the honest and right thing. If I had moldy vinyl siding they would have done everything for a competitive price. And I don't think any of their employees will spray a power washer directly at an outlet again. I was initially prepared to really argue, but it was not necessary.
