We were very disappointed in what we had done by Servpro. We had a very minimal leak in our ceiling but my husband was on deployment so I didn't know what else to do but to make sure it wasn't causing anymore damage. They came out and barely looked at the ceiling and instantly quoted me very high. I didn't know later until I had another company come out to do a much bigger job for half the price and i felt ripped off. I had my whole mudroom bathroom ripped up and a dehumidifier installed for 2 weeks for $531. Servpro charged me over $800 dollars for a 3 sq foot area and they left a dehumdifier and fan for less than 24 hours and did not even replace the drywall they ripped out or treat for mold. My understanding was the work would include replacement and mold treatment but as the crew left for the day i was informed that the only thing left was for them to come back for the dehumidifier and fan. I still have a 3 ft hole in my ceiling. Needless to say i will never use servpro again. My husband came home and couldn't believe how badly we got ripped off so he called and the lady said its a standard pricing system that the whole area uses, which is incorrect becuase we had 331 sq ft ripped out and mitigated for almost half. The other company did a better job and had better customer service.

All team members, including Jeff, Bryan, Billy, Mike, Jamad, and Demicus were courteous and respectful in our home, and Nadya was extremely professional and helpful on the phone. This team's manager, however, Duane D, went absolutely above and beyond, not only in his communication, but his enthusiasm for getting the job done correctly the first time, and especially taking time (repeatedly) to talk with me about what the next step in the process is, how the insurance companies treat it, and generally guiding me through the process in general. Amazing representative for the company. Will request this company and team by name should I need their services again!

I had a major leak in my home my entire flooring downstairs. 2 plumber's and a insurance representative came out and couldn't fine the leak. They recommend a leak detector which i had schedule. My insurance company suggests calling a restoration company to come out once the leak is detected so i called Servpro. Duane the production manager came out to assess what needs to be done after the leak is detected. During his inspection he moved my refrigerator and water was shooting everywhere, all this time it was my icemaker line. Thanks to Duane I was able to save hundreds if not thousands of dollars.The guys that remove damage flooring was very helpful as well. Duane is a great asset to your company you are lucky to have his on board.

In the unfortunate event that someone needs restoration repairs ........dealing with Serve Pro of Virginia Beach is a silver lining. From the start of that first phone call, to the meeting the project managers and emergency workers along the way, until the final payment, each person along the way was amazing. I had 2 events in the past 3 months in which I had to call upon their services. The great customer service they provided, I do not have to hesitate on who to ever call again. It will always be Serve Pro of Virginia Beach. You can tell that Anna Cheracles has done an amazing job of hiring people and promoting the concept that they actually care about the customer. Although I never got the chance to actually meet her after a few attempts, it shows that she knows how to run a successful business. The all star of the group that I dealt with was Duane Dickenson. Friendly, positive, supportive..........a true people person. He really stepped up big time and was a pleasure to work with. Esteban was the first on the scene and he did an awesome job and was easy to talk too as well. Lisa in the office was the final person I was able to talk to in order to close out my experience. Dainan Gibson with SEVPRO of Virginia Beach is awesome. We had water damage related to an overflow of a clogged dishwasher. I called her directly on a weekend. She sent out a crew to look at our situation. The crew took care of us. We were very satisfied by having a professional who cares for our well being of my family during this tough situation. This was the worst company ever. The store manager Jason and his so called office secretary have no professionalism. They back talk their customers and like to argue when a customer makes a complaint. Like I mean yelling on the phone and belittling their customers. They accused us of lying when their employee never showed up to our house. The employees of the company have no knowledge of the correct company procedures to follow when doing demo, restoration, as well as pack-outs. (We did our research and also had a family member that used to work for this company in another town.) They promised us many things would get complete during the process and afterwards we were left fighting with our insurance company to settle things with Servpro to get their things fixed back to prior damage. This company is the worst. I don't see how they can remain in business with their customer service.

Servpro came to our rescue. We live in an upside down house near the bay in Virginia Beach and we had a leak in our dishwasher which is in in our 2nd floor kitchen which caused the ceiling in the first floor bedroom to say and soak the walls and carpet. Sevrpro took the bedroom down to outside walls and bare floors in the bedroom and installed fans, heaters and dehumidifier to dry out and prevent mold and mildew. The kitchen was stripped of cabinets and told flooring dried out. An affiliated contractor restored both rooms to better than new and Servpro cleaned up after all work and it's like brand new rooms in 30 year old house.

They are extremely helpful and the owners of our rentals have agreed that the staff are all very knowledgable and helpful throughout their services. Thanks to Dainan, she informed me that the company provides SO much more than just mold remediation and water extraction services. It's nice to have a go-to company for so many serious issues that require immediate attention. They are very communicative and keep me informed of everything going on, which is very important to our company. Please don't hesitate to give this company a call!

Don’t waste your time! We needed an estimate for a FEMA appeal after our home was flooded in Hurricane Matthew. Since it was an appeal, we were given a 14 day time frame to submit an estimate from a contractor on the damage or we would automatically be denied any assistance. We called Servpro immediately and they sent out Tim a few days later. We thought we were good to go as we still had over a week and a half for them to get the estimate back to us. However, that did not end up being the case. The customer service at the office was absolutely horrible as they gave us the run around anytime we called, stating anyone who could help us was always busy and therefore they promised to have someone call us back, but no one ever did. We also called Tim’s direct line and left messages, but he never returned those either. As we approached the end of our deadline and began to lose faith in them doing the job they told us they would, we reached out to First Atlantic Restoration. Luckily for us, First Atlantic Restoration was the complete opposite as Servpro and they bent over backwards to help us when Servpro left us stranded. Servpro has yet to give us an estimate, even though we are long past the deadline. Don’t waste your time with Servepro. (But I would highly recommend First Atlantic Restoration—they are amazing if you want a company that actually takes care of you).

This company deserves more than 5 stars! We had a drainage leak in our crawlspace and Duane, the production manager from ServPro, came out to take a look. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Duane explained what the whole process would entail and sent me photos he took while he was under the house. Each day the work was being done, Duane kept me updated with a daily email, including photos. The whole ServPro team went above and beyond to help us get our house back to normal as quickly as possible. There is not one single thing I would change about the process. If I could give more than 5 stars that would not be enough to show my gratitude for the work that was done to save our home. About 3 weeks ago our hot water heater broke on the second story and flooded our home all the way to the crawl space. Following our claim to my insurance company that morning, we immediately received a call within 20 minutes from Nadya at SERVPRO. Nadya was so pleasant and professional, walking us through the entire process, including all parties involved and continued to do so daily until we were at a satisfactory level. Within a few hours we were greeted by Esteban the project manager and his crew that included Jarred, Billy, Christian and Jeff. Esteban and his team were very professional and courteous, always going beyond what was expected. They continuously brought packing supplies, so we did not have to worry about how we were going to essentially pack the entire home and made sure that the house was safe for the family, as well as our dogs. On top of that we were greeted by Duane that afternoon, who was our production manger. Duane was outstanding the moment he walked through our door, greeting us always with a positive and polite manner making sure we had everything we needed including a POD for storage, as well as sending daily files and pictures to our insurance company for updates. Esteban and his team, as well as Duane worked hand in hand daily to get our home to a livable environment and I would never use another company than SERVPRO.

We agreed and we are so happy that we did.. Servpro is an amazing company to handle this kind of life issue. They offer restoration and repair clientele to take care of everything...even the plumber. All the Servpro clientele were so kind and so willing to work around our own availability. It takes awhile to accomplish all that needs to be done but they made it flow so nicely and left with everything looking wonderful. Every person I spoke to or came to our home was someone that I could sit down with and have a nice meal with....that's how pleasant all the staff is. Amazing people.
