Puritan cleaners has been fantastic. As my route manager, Mike Cook has gone above and beyond to make sure that my clothes are taken care of. He has even taken his own time and personal vehicle to deliver my shirts ahead of schedule when I needed something before my delivery date. He drives slowly through the neighborhood to give forgetful folks like me time to get their bag. Thanks Mike!

Well apparently correctional officers are not as important as police officers. We don't risk Our Lives as much I guess. Puritan Cleaners decides that they no longer need to give a discount to anyone but police officers and EMS. That is disappointing and really undermines that work the other law enforcement agencies do. What a shame.

Puritan Cleaners has done a great job with our dry cleaning. Additionally, the employees are friendly and courteous. For the past year or so, I've used the free home pickup and delivery. Our route manager, Randy, is very personable and conscientious. I don't often endorse products or services, but I do highly recommend Puritan.

I called to ask about having a wedding dress steamed, not cleaned, they quoted me $100! Stony Point Cleaners just a few weeks ago when I had bought the dress at a sample sale had cleaned, pressed, and removed major stains for under $30. I will never use anyone else for the convenience of location and never recommend this cleaners. What a ridiculous price.

Worse service I received ever, the manager was a complete imbecile. When I walked in literally blasting the loudest music possible. A really unfriendly environment. The manager whose name shall not be mention was of now help, just completely useless standing there smiling at me so awkwardly. Couldn’t leave any sooner I am never coming here again, they act like there the only dry cleaners in chesterfield.

I took several dress pants, a suit jacket and tuxedo jacket to this location when I moved here from California last summer. I was impressed with the reviews, especially when compared with other franchise locations of the same company. The immediate impression I got was the person at the counter was focused mainly on my various contact information rather than how I wanted my dry cleaning done. Trying to remain polite, I didn't push it, but I regret not acting on those flags in my head. One would assume this place, given the ratings it has received, would have professionals who know all the ins and outs of cleaning. And I paid the price for assuming. As I was still in a three-month long transition from Laguna Beach to Short Pump, I simply hung my laundry in my new apartment and focused on the move for my business. So it wasn't until long after that that I was readying for a Christmas black tie event and realized I had an unserviceable suit to wear. I ended up cancelling and staying home. Yes, Puritan is certainly pricier than its competition, but (again, I assumed) this is due to its personnel's expertise. Apparently, at least in my case, they did not observe what I believe is a standard understanding that one never, ever, puts an iron directly on clothing to press it. One must first place a wet cloth on the fabric so that the metal of the iron does not transfer a nasty shine on said material. Throughout many years in school in the UK and 20 years in the Air Force and all the years since, I never had this happen to me (and whenever I iron my pants, I always use a wet cloth, as taught to us as 9 year olds). Until now. So I have an expensive tux in my closet with several areas of it with a gross and cheap-looking ironed-on sheen. I'll not be giving any more business to this place, and I'm on the hunt for a location where its personnel are properly trained.

What a delight when entering this place of business at 7:00am to have Lori the store manager call you by name with a big smile. A very warm welcome she offers on each visit. The young lady in the evening Synise another long time employee at this location is equally quick with having my pickup ready as I enter the door. I work for a competing company who offers dry clean delivery. When following up on some marketing, was told by a gentleman that a Puritan driver removed our bag from his door, and left a pamphlet of their own. So apparently they're sending folks to peoples homes, who have no qualms about taking things which dont belong to them.

I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. I would if I could. I accidentally left two items in my suit jacket pocket and both items were stolen. I called them the next day (after picking up the night before near closing) when I realised my items were missing. The person I spoke to said no items were recovered or brought to their attention. They also said it's coming for people to leave things in their pockets so they have a system for recovery when it happens and yet both my items were gone. This ended up costing me ~120$ for a 7$ cleaning. If I never need dry cleaning again it will not be here but rather HandCraft Cleaners on Patterson Ave in Richmond. Do not go here .

I guess it depends on who is working if you get good service or not. I was behind a lady being helped. She pulled off and I pulled up but the girl who helped the first lady saw us and went inside. She never came back but 15 minutes later a guy came out and helped us. I guess express only means if they feel like it.

If I am home when Randy comes by he will chat with me. I like the personal and professional service with Puritan! They don't put safety pins through my clothes which drives me nuts with other cleaners because it can ruin a garment. Thank you!

We could not be happier with Puritan Cleaners in Midlothian and, in particular, Randy who is our home delivery agent. Our cleaning is always done with the highest degree of care, in a timely fashion, and at a reasonable price! In addition, we have had some "special" dry cleaning projects along the way . . . The product of raising little ones . . . and were amazed at their ability to come through for us. Having tried a number of dry cleaning services in the RVA area, Puritan is by far the best!

Recently dropped off my business suit and a blazer to be cleaned. The drive through service is nice, but because I was a new customer my personal information had to be entered in the 'system' - a spiral note book. After I left, i realized they didn't offer a claim check for my garments which made me a bit worried that I had no proof of my clothes being there. Sure enough, when my wife picked them up my name was not in the system and they had no record of my clothes. After 20 minutes of looking, they found my order had been keyed into the computer system with several misspellings of my name and address. Why wouldn't they offer customers a simple claim check? Doesn't the simple 'no tickee, no shirtee' business process still apply? If this is the norm, I won't be going back.
