I just had Pat, the owner of this Chem-Dry, come clean my carpets and sofa for the first time. I am very impressed overall! He was a pleasure to deal with both over the phone and in person. He is very professional, knowledgeable, on time, and completed the job in the promised time and at the promised estimate (I measured my carpets before). He didn't use any annoying sales tactics or try to upsell. My sofa was from my mom who had an ill cat that sprayed disgusting cat snot everywhere which had been dried on for a while. It is now perfectly clean. When we moved to this condo, the carpets had just been cleaned supposedly by the previous tenants. However, even then it smelled like a wet dog from their pet and you could feel lots of residue on the carpet, which is disturbing since my daughter plays on there. Pat managed to get their old and our new stains out, got the residue off, and the place smells good. I stayed in the condo while he was cleaning it, and I did not smell any chemical odor or perfumes, which is important to me since I am 9 months pregnant. He also moved furniture around to clean different area, and gave me a gentle scolding for vacuuming before he came, and said he would do that part. I will definitely be using Chem-Dry of NoVa again and would recommend them to anyone!

We called Chem-Dry since we had used another Chem-Dry office many years back and loved their procedure for cleaning rugs. This is the FIRST time we called the office in Fairfax. WOW! Pat came within a week! His friendly smile put us at ease. The price on the website is accurate to a 'T'. We had some stains on the carpet that we thought would never come out (old cigarette ashes and stains ground into the carpet, chocolate milk and pet stains). We are SHOCKED at the result! Pat was very professional, efficient and was done in no time... AND in TWO hours, it will be dry - unbelievable! Still stunned at the result! Thanks Pat!!
