Like it never even happened? Yeah, you'll wish it never even happened if you use Servpro of West Jordan! I took off multiple days from work so that they could do the job they were hired for, had scheduled appointments, but they never showed up for two of them. They damaged and $800 armoire when they moved it. They padded their bill by: - Overstating the size of the rooms they were cleaning. - Overstating the amount of padding they put back in. - Overstating the amount of material they removed, and then billed for 1/4 truck load of debris when they didn't even fill one garbage bag and then that bag went in my garbage can. - Added extra equipment to the bill. Go elsewhere for disaster cleanup or watch them extremely close if you use them!

I have never left such a poor review. If I could, I would give a negative five stars. I worked for a disaster company in another state under a different company name. I cleaned burned properties so I have a background of knowing challenging cleaning! I also have M.S. so I rely on hiring a company when I see filth that I can’t clean. When a company promotes they provide certain services, a consumer expects them to competent with what they are paying for. There seems to be a lot of positive reviews for this company which is why I hired this company. I hired them to clean ducts, spray a sealant on subfloors, clean two small bathrooms and wash windows / blinds. Every one of the areas the workers failed to execute satisfactorily completing an adequate job. The duct cleaners had to come back 3 times because they kept missing areas. The sprayers employees treated subfloors BUT sloppily over sprayed freshly painted base boards / lower walls resulting with my hiring painters to come and repaint every area that I already had just professionally painted. If this was not bad enough the bath / window cleaners clocked 22 hours leaving behind enough filth that the painters could not do their job until several areas that they missed were re-cleaned. I realize we function in a different world today: we are not in a recession so good help is hard to find BUT I am not in the business of training people how to do their job. Every time employees do not do their job to a reasonable satisfaction, it sets off a delayed domino reaction: the flooring company can’t install base boards and have to be rescheduled ~ the painters can’t finish painting over dirt, grime or filth and have to be rescheduled ~ and who suffers? Me! I have lived out of boxes for two months now! I have had to work around every companies different schedule - why? Is this what has become the new normal when anyone hires a company? My time is valuable! It goes without saying, some of the worst things for someone with M.S. is existing IN dirt, dust, pollution, and toxic chemicals! When the duct cleaners did not complete their task in an acceptable manner, I understood things happen. When they had to come back a second time, I expected this would be the end to my nightmare. But when the head person, Brad, had to come in and re-do the work still finding filth in places that the workers should have treated, I was embarrassed for the company. When the overspray was noticed everywhere, I started to think maybe the workers have more work to do and not time allocated to do a thorough job. I thought then this goes back to a poorly managed company: I survive on a fixed disability income ~ this has now become VERY expensive! When the two ladies came to clean and we’re observed to be wiping for an extended period of time in ONE section of one blind, I became concerned; then the hired painters pointed out specific areas that they could not paint because of dirt: above a shower, light fixtures, window seal...I am now the one who had been pushed beyond understanding. If I did not know better, I would say a camera was set up to catch my reaction to a practical joke! I called Brad and indicated I will not pay the final part of our bill. The only way it seems people now understand that their service is unacceptable is by not paying. Brad seemed shocked that I refused to pay for the final cleaners. He said he had never had complaints before. I believe this to be true based on the reviews posted here. I also understand REVIEWS CAN BE FAUX. How can my personal experience with this company be an epic failure? I understand mistakes happen ONCE. But, to have mistakes continue to happen five separate times, this now is a company that I cannot endorse! Do yourself a favor and hire someone else!

Totally unprofessional owner.Rude, arrogant, I’m was the bad guy (classic 'gas-lighting' as you can see below).NEVER FINISHED the JOB!Frozen water line leaked after the fix, TWICE!The first time was because they didn't take out the entire cracked supply line.He says below it was a separate issue.Wasn't.His company dry-walled it shut and installed the new tub without fixing the leak.I caught them and they had to come back out to cut open the drywall and fix the broken pipe.They weren’t able to see or repair below the floor to confirm the extent of damage.It was covered They cut a hole from the other side of tub and could only access above the floor.Once I was told the leak was fixed(water was still off, means they never pressure tested the line)I insulated the cavity with foam approved by the city for use in walls/floor joists cavities that include electrical, plumbing, and hvac(he trys to blame a city inspector and a foam company)It was approved for such use and I have documentation.It leaked slowly for month until saturated the foam and drywall.I tried to explain to him it was leaking and they blamed another plumber. Wasn't working in the area nor could he have bumped it as it was encased in foam.They fixed it finally.I was upset because the plumber tried to say it wasn't their fault.Brad tried to back them up.Was I upset at this point?Yes.I have been in construction for 20 years and some guys telling me I don't know what I'm looking at and wont come out to see it?If being mad about this treatment is somehow considered rude then ok I was rude.Then the shoddy repair job burst and flooded out my garage in the middle of the night!How do I know it was shoddy?Because the plumber flexed the supply line (yes, bent cpvc) to make his glue joint into the new elbow.He never dried the line.He never pressurized the line to test it.He did a shoddy job and told me so himself.That's how I know.Caused $2000 of damage to my personal property.I waited for months for them to come "make it right' but to no avail.He admitted to doing a poor job the first time because he didn't have the time to run to get elbows to do it right so he flexed the cpvs into the elbow and held it for a minute until it set up leaving the joint under pressure.A product that is already known for poor performance under proper installation.When it burst it sent hundreds of gallons of water into my basement for about 3.5 hours (imagine running your plugged tub for 3.5 hours and think how much damage it would do).Servepro had not sent someone out to replace the drywall ceiling in the garage where all this happen.A blessing for them because all the water went straight into my garage.If they had closed the drywall it would have flooded the house, just like the original flood.I have to file an issuance claim (and pay $1000 deductible which may not be returned to me) to replace the damaged items as well finish the original job.I have never, ever written a bad review on anyone. Rude, liar, crook and a thief! Owner Brad told me "Good luck getting your job done."Emergency line told me "Go ahead and call your insurance company cuz you wont get a cent from us!"hung up.Somehow its not ok to be upset at this fiasco?Im supposed to bow to them as if im lucky they are helping me?They are somehow offended that a customer would be upset his garage was flooded in the middle of the night.I was and am upset.Months of headaches and still no resolution.Always on the general when the subs make mistakes.Taking money and not finishing a job is theft.End of story.There is a huge hole in my garage and a bunch of wet damaged stuff in my garage(antique table given to me by my dead mother)Thanks for that. Did FHA sign off?Did I sign off? yep.How are we supposed to see a slow leak inside the drywall?Insurance adjuster told me it isn’t my responsibility.I supplied him with all the emails.I never once was vulgar.Don't use profanity:Lying.What a gas-lighting toxic person.If your happy hes happy if your mad, your fault. He has an ego.Don't cross him, he will make you pay in $ and lies.

I had a flood in my rental home because of a UDOT holding pod that had been built by my house. The house flooded three times and Servpro came and cleaned up the flooding and then they were able to put the entire basement back together. They were very efficient and finished the walls, doors, floors bath fixtures etc. as good as they had been or better. I am very pleased with the services provided by Servpro and would recommend them to my friends and family.

I had the unfortunate need for disaster clean up and renovations after my house caught fire. I was recommended to ServPro of West Jordan by a friend and neighbor who had used them in the past with great results from a basement flood. The fire damaged a good portion of our home and the smoke did a number as well. You name it and it needed to be replaced: cabinets, flooring, walls, ceilings, fixtures, appliances, the works. I thought it would be a lengthy project and could present some challenges with insurance and so much of the home in need of attention. The team they put together for our place was great! They put in the time and effort to make our home livable again and got us out of the hotel and from sharing a 1200 sq ft place with friends. The finish work and paint were on point to match the uneffected areas for a seamless look. They were great to work with and went above and beyond for us during a difficult and trying time. I'd definite use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I was really disappointed with this company. The clean-up was great, but the restoration was such a huge hassle. They were constantly trying to cut corners and not do what we were paying them to do. There was a huge lack of communication. We had to keep addressing problems over and over. They fixed it, but we felt like the "bad guys" and we were just trying to get what we had agreed on. The work would have been very poor had we not complained. I would never work with this company again.

We had originally called another company in the middle of the night to help us with flooding due to a burst water pipe, but there kept on being hour delays of when they could come. SERVPRO was able to get to our home sooner and they were so kind and helpful during the whole cleanup process. Communication was exceptionally good and we felt like they followed a good process in making sure everything was properly dried. Our insurance adjuster came while a SERVPRO crew was at our home working and they all seemed to communicate well too. We haven’t gotten to the reparation phase yet, but quick help with water extraction, drying and demolition all went really smoothly.

Servpro has done a great job with the flood in our basement. My husband and I were out of town when our basement flooded, our daughter found the flood and servpro was there within 2 hours. They worked through the early morning hours to soak up as much water as possible. They spent the next week monitoring the damage. After a final assessment it was determed we would loose the carpet and 24 inches of all the walls. They jumped right in it. They have been professional, through, and a pleasure to work with. I certainly hope we never have a need for their service again, but if we do I know exactly who I will call. Thank you Servpro for a job well done.

I have had an A+ amazing experience w Servpro. My upstairs toilet flooded which dripped down into my kitchen which then made its way down to the basement/garage. I called my insurance company and Servpro was there within 2 hours! They setup all the blowers and immediately began the drying process. The next day they were back doing the demo work and ripping out the wet sheetrock. They also took out my tenants’ trash and didn’t inconvenience them at all in the process. They are about finished with the restoration part now. I will def be referring them moving forward!
