They had two people come for three hours and did the same, if not a bit worse, job than I could have done, by myself, in two hours. No dusting, did not clean window by kitchen sink which I had asked specifically for them to do, missed mirrors in bathroom. For the amount of money it cost, terrible job. I could have paid 1/5 of the amount for my 10 yr old to clean for the same quality. Seriously, DO NOT USE this company.

RIP OFF!! CALL SOMEBODY ELSE... I was very disappointed. I hired this company to clean a house that I just purchased and the home I just moved out of. I don't even think they showed up to the new house, there was dust, finger prints, dirt, on the walls and door jams, the counter tops weren't wiped down, the oven wasn't touched. But they spend 4 hours there, at least that's what I was charged for. They said they ran out of time. They didn't even touch the bathrooms. Then on my old home they spent 10 hours and wiped down the walls in the bedrooms, and cleaned 1 bathroom. Did not touch the Kitchen, Pantry, second bathroom, laundry area, they said they needed more time, so they came back for 5 more hours and claimed to have gotten my kitchen done but needed 4 more hours to do the rest. My landlord went to my house told me that the only thing done was the fridge was cleaned and they sprayed oven cleaner in the oven. I emailed them and told them I was not paying for 5 hours of cleaning. They told me my house was the dirtiest house they had seen and couldn't get through the food and grease on the walls and through out. That's a flat out lie, their was no food or grease on any surface of my house and it was an empty house, how dirty could it be? I told them I felt they have taken advantage of me enough. Ron wrote back and said he was taking the money from my account (after I already told him he wasn't authorized to do so) because I was the one taking advantage of him and he needed to pay those girls. Guess what... Not my problem. They supposedly spent 2 hours cleaning 6 cupboards that my Landlord couldn't even tell had been cleaned. This company is a Rip off and a bunch of thieves. He did take the money out of my account without my authorization. That I am disputing with my bank. I'm not paying for services I NEVER received.

Stolen Jewelry and 2 Local Gals did nothing and didn't apologize. No kidding, I had my jewelry stolen and pawned by one of their female employees that had been with them 10+ years, and is still with them - NO - you read that right 2 Local Gals did not fire her. She stole from me not once, but on multiple occasions - it wasn't until my deceased mother's ring went missing that I knew I wasn't loosing my mind and that she had stolen all my missing jewelry. AND she admitted to the police that she stole and pawned my jewelry when I filed a police report. This woman cleaned my house for a year once a week with my small child in my home. I trusted her. I thought I knew this woman, I mean we would chat and share things about our lives. But honestly I was happy when she admitted it to the police and confessed, what really made me mad is that 2 Local Gals did nothing - in fact they lied to me and the police officer saying that they had confronted her and that she had denied stealing anything from me. It wasn't until the police officer confronted the cleaner that she confessed and said her employment knew and they were helping her through drug rehab - only then did 2 Local Gals come clean. They said it wasn't their fault - they weren't responsible for her theft. They also denied me access to their insurance company to make a claim. Yes they were great at cleaning, but hiring and continuing to employ dishonest employees is not a company I would ever recommend.

My sister got my this service with several cleanings since I am pregnant and sick. They were great and helped a ton. They were punctual and good at calling the day before to verify time. The cleaning girls were friendly and nice and very willing to help fold laundry ect. I would highly recomend them!

I happened upon the Cleaning Service because I liked the name. Little did I know that they were located out of several cities around the state! The person I call to schedule or modify the appt is Heidi. She’s just a delight. The kind of voice that is so friendly - you just feel better for the call! Something Heidi does is callavter an appt to get feedback on a clean. Two Gals is very flexible on scheduling and modifying days and times. Their cost for services is very reasonable. I have one particular “gal”, Jen who does my house. Sometimes she comes with a partner but generally alone.she does an Amazing job. She is sweet, punctual, flexible and efficient. I scheduled a deep clean of an apartment that we were moving into in SLC from out of state with them that was to be done before we arrived. Initially, everything was fine, service on the phone was friendly and informative. However, after arriving, and being charged for 8 hours of cleaning, we found our apartment in the exact same state that it was when we viewed it. We specifically asked for walls, floors, baseboards, and windows to be cleaned. The floor was still so dirty you had to keep your shoes on, and there was a layer of dust on all the windows and baseboards. After I complained, they sent another 2 'gals' who worked for 2 hours (so 4 labor hours total) and who actually did a very good job-- this review does not reflect on them. However, when I stated that I wanted a refund for the remaining 4 hours, they refused, claiming "It must have been in worse shape than you thought since you hadn't seen it." I guess they weren't aware that we had in fact seen the unit and that nothing was done. Overall, I believe they purposefully deceived me believing that I would not know the difference. I have photos of the apartment when we arrived that I will be submitting along with my formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Maybe if you are an SLC local from the get-go it would be a good service, but I was lied to and cheated out of $130 (4 hours) of labor.

Look elsewhere because this company wasted my time and money. I hired them to deep clean a house I had just purchased and was disappointed to find fairly obvious spots were missed (e.g. spots on floors, dust bunnies along floor boards, etc.) When they came back a few days later to finish the job, April gave me attitude about all the items they could not clean and lecturing me on the reasons why (after I had already stated that it was fine to skip them). Growing tired of the cleaners lack of professionalism, I sent them away after April announced she had only five minutes left of availability (contrary to Brittany's assurances the prior day) - an action to which April took exception. When Brittany called to follow up on my experience, she spent more time rehashing their policies (which again, I was fine with) and missed an opportunity to solve the larger issues and establish a longer-term relationship, going so far as to be combative with me on the phone. I'm mystified why she would call to gather feedback if all she wanted to do was berate me about my disappointment with their service. Never again!

2 Local Gals cleans monthly for me at Quality Aviation, Inc. in Clinton, UT and they always do an excellent job. They have always called before upcoming appointments to make sure the date and time fits my schedule. If I need to adjust my cleaning time, they are very accommodating. Since I am a monthly client, they send the same person every time so I already know the person by name and that person already knows what I need or expect. They always show up on time and finish all the cleaning within the time limit I've set. I'd recommend 2 Local Gals Housekeeping for anyone who needs their offices cleaned. Up date. 2/22/2013. I continue to be impressed with the service I receive from 2 Local Gals. They have been cleaning for me once per month now for about a year and I continue to find them efficient, personable, reliable and great with my dogs, one of whom is not house trained as she recently was rescued from life as a puppy mill mama. My favorite part is that I can ALWAYS count on the women who come. Their service is as good as the first time, no slacking off. I'm very grateful. I asked 2 Local Gals to deep clean and help organize my very crowded apartment about 18 months ago. They came several times and got the job done beautifully. I thought the price was very reasonable especially for how hard they had to work just to get through the place. As I cleaned out some unwanted stuff and donated it, I decided to ask them to general clean once a month. They are always on time, always friendly, put up with my over-friendly dogs, ask what they should focus on, ask about running the dish washer and other such things. They are respectful, thorough, I can't say enough. They are worth every penny. I object to labeling these women as maids. They are competent professional women whom I am proud to hire and proud to recommend.

2 stars because they were responsive, paid 400 dollars for 2 people for 4 hours in a 1200 sq ft apt, for a move out clean, so there was no furniture to work around, all they had to do was clean, fridge wasn't cleaned, oven wasn't cleaned, floors still had wrappers on it, laundry room floor was sticky, hard water still on shower, when I advised them of this I was told they felt they did an adequate job, for that kind of money you expect a lot more than what was delivered.

Overall, this was pretty disappointing. We needed some help cleaning up as we moved out of our house, and we got a hold of this company. They sent someone over for 2.5 hours, and we told her just to clean the (tiny) bathroom and (small) kitchen. Most of the stuff that she 'cleaned', we will have to clean again. She didn't get to a lot of stuff, which is fine, but we sort of expected to not have finish the things that she started. I called the office to lodge a complaint (which started off polite) and let them know that we were really unsatisfied with the quality of work. They responded by getting defensive, being completely unsympathetic, and basically telling us that it was our fault for not booking more time. My wife and I only called the service because we didn't have time enough time to clean, but I guarantee you we have cleaned both of those rooms to our satisfaction in far worse conditions, in far less time. The owner offered the slightest bit of sympathy, but in the end, he offered nothing by the way of monetary reimbursement for our outright dissatisfaction. This company might be OK if you are hiring them to come in every so often to do a little bit of surface cleaning, but if you want detail work, you would be better off doing it yourself and buying yourself a nice whiskey, because you deserve it (you devil).

I called 2 Local Gals because I was unhappy with my former service, and what an upgrade! So pleased with the results. I have pergo and tile floors, the ladies do a great job, my bathrooms, my stove top...everything was great! They took the time to walk around the house before and after to make sure the job gets done right. They don't stand around wasting time, they actually work hard the whole time so you save money, much more affordable than the competition and they do a much better job! I would highly recommend 2 Local Gals.

As a landlord I cannot use them again. I used them for an apartment because my normal company was booked out too far. They weren't the most expensive, but definitely not the cheapest. The problem is that their definition of "hazardous" is completely up to them. I had exterminators coming after they cleaned, but they wouldn't clean up boric acid or dead cockroaches. Good for nicer clients, and I understand their point of view. However, I need someone that I can rely on to actually clean. Luckily, the person actually doing the cleaning, cleaned everything anyway.

Originally scheduled for 3:30pm. I was called the day before expected service and told "times change and we've moved your appointment to 1pm", after I told them before they'd need to be done by 1:30pm due to an existing appointment I had to attend, and I wasn't comfortable having people in my apartment without me being present. I moved my other appointment around to accommodate THEM, and while I was out running errands in the morning, I got a call at 11:45 AM saying they're at my apartment ready to clean, but can't get in. I told them I could get back within a half hour, and the lady told me to call her and they'd be right there. I called and called and called, and she never answered. Then the appointment time of 1pm came and went, and they didn't show up. I called the head office and they said they didn't know what was going on but would call me back. We rescheduled for the ORIGINAL appointment time of 3:30pm, and they called me at 3:15pm saying they were waiting for me to get home, while I was on my way back from my other appointment. Finally, they get to cleaning. They did an OK job. Just OK. Anything they moved to clean, they didn't put back where it was (bathroom garbage cans left in the middle of the floor, etc). There were still dirty spots in every place they cleaned. And, one lady used my kitchen hand-towel to clean the kitchen then put it in her bag and the other tried to walk out with it. Could have been an honest mistake, but, really?? Overall, just not worth the hassle or price to deal with this kind of crap service. The whole point is to make it easier on me, not more stressful.

2 Local Gals originally sent 2 "gals" to deep clean my kitchen and bathroom. I wasn't 100% satisfied with the kitchen cleaning, so I called my contact Heidi. She sent the gal that did my bathroom, (beautifully by the way)! Megan, scrubbed my floor, re-cleaned the cupboards and walls. I mopped a portion of my floor with her still here, and it was SPOTLESS!!! They mean it when they say their service is guaranteed for 24 hours! I wouldn't have anyone else. I'm no longer able to do this kind of cleaning anymore, so I will definitely call 2 Local Gals again!!

First off, we were given a gift certificate for 6 hours of cleaning(which turned to "3" cause of the two girls cleaning) Second, the circumstances were not the best due to the family moving out of the condo we just purchased. They were rude and inconsiderate. I get that, and completely understand where you were coming from. But, if you felt uneasy about the job, why didn't you say "I feel uneasy right now, we'll schedule another time when it works best for everyone" that would have been the professional thing to do. You guys were paid in advance to come and clean our condo, but instead of the 3 hours of deep cleaning, it looked as if you skimmed the whole down stairs. I'm disappointed with this company, and feel you guys handled a mild situation very unprofessionally and then did nothing to try to make amends. We are apprecaitive of what you did do, but severely disappointed in what you told us you did, but obviously didn't. We are very understanding people. If your girls really felt that uncomfortable, you should have discussed it with us and we would have tried to plan a different day and time. Thank you.

Helpful and all English speaking cleaning crew! I was sick with the flu when they came, with family coming in town that afternoon. So needless to say, they saved the day. They did a good job cleaning and were very nice ladies. There were a few things that I didn't notice until afew days later that didn't get done, possibly because 1 of the rooms was not accessible to them to clean until the last hour they were here, but I've used 2 Local Gals before and know that in general it's a good quality service and I will be using them again.

When you schedule you fill out what you want cleaned and they either don't do it or do it so half assed you have to redo it yourself. Dusting was terrible, they took down my shower curtain and left it balled up on the bathroom floor. Didn't mop the bathroom. Didn't do dishes. Didn't clean windows or take out the trash. Terrible.

I had them come help me with spring cleaning; I have 4 kids and 2 dogs and my husband and I both work full time so our house is a bit neglected. They helped me get caught up on the base-boards, walls, interior windows, etc. The cleaning was fine. Pros: friendly efficient staff, both scheduling and cleaning staff. The only issue was they were supposed to come in the afternoon and came in the morning instead. Cons: Expensive. I paid a lot of money and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to tip the cleaning gals but I couldn't afford to anyway after paying for the cleaning. I'm giving three stars because they did do a fine job cleaning but because they came in the morning instead of the afternoon I wasn't able to look around and have them fix things like streaky mirrors. I'm sure they would've I just didn't have time to look around and have them do it. Also because they're just really pricey.

Communication was excellent before and after, and the ladies went above and beyond, even replacing a toilet seat that I couldn't unscrew. This was just going to be a one-time thing, but I'm having them back every month to help keep my home clean. Highly recommend, especially for seniors like me who now find the high and low target areas difficult to reach.

My advice would be to save your money and clean yourself, or hire your 9-year-old niece to do a better job that 2 Local Gals did at my house. I had such a disappointing experience with 2 Local Gals. I paid $510 for a deep clean of my house (blinds, baseboards, inside of cupboards, oven, the whole shebang), and came home to a really subpar job. I had saved up for months to treat myself to a deeper clean than I had the time/energy/ability to do myself and ended up with a job about as good as a committed 8-year-old could do. I took photos and called. The customer service was poor. The woman I spoke with said, "I know they tried really hard to do a good job," and acted like I had impossible standards, or something. There were visible pieces of dirt on my living room floor, streaks across my TV, and some of what I specifically paid for (inside of cupboards) hadn't been done at all. The woman I spoke with at 2 Local Gals offered to have the cleaners come back, but I could already plainly see shotty job they did and wasn't interested. I ended up getting a mere $40 back (thanks) and vowing never to use this company again.

Product Review

Make sure they come over and give you an estimate. I made the mistake of describing the number of rooms, square footage, etc. They estimated 6 hours (2 people for 3 hours). Within that time, the two individuals cleaned one bathroom, one bedroom floor, and 75% of a kitchen. These are all small areas. The entire home is only about 1,300 square feet. I'm sorry, but within that time, they should have been able to do so much more! I guess it's all relative depending upon how hard they work. In my estimation, they should have cleaned much, much more. Unhappy customer.

My house had gone about 7 years without a deep clean. It looks awesome now they were very thorough with the cleaning. It was easy to make an appointment, they were on time and even prorated back the difference of their original over the phone time estimate (10 hours) vs the actual amount of time spent. We paid at least $200.00 and did NOT get a cleaning job worth that much! Things were left untouched! We contacted them but they just said that the employees did an amazing job now I'm out $200.00 plus dollars especially around the holidays so pissed ! They are the worst they will RIP you off !!!! Do not get anything from them they cost me more money than it would and I would have done 10 times better than them !

**THINK TWICE BEFORE USING** * I apologize in advance for the lengthy review! * I have a rental unit (that is vacant) that needed a deep clean on the kitchen, the stove was filthy and also the refrigerator the same, plus I needed them to wash down a few walls and most baseboards. They had charged me for 8 hrs (2 cleaning people at 4 hrs each). I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the stove so I contacted them to tell them I was not satisfied with the stove and that I would like it redone she said she would talk to the cleaners to find out what happened. They returned my call right away and said the girls had ran out of time (keep in mind this is a vacant townhome) and they would have to charge me 2 extra hrs. I refused to pay, but they did send out someone to redo the stove, still not clean I spent a 1/2 hr, at which time asked if they would vacuum the new carpet that was installed, in which I would pay for. I found the kitchen floor still dirty. I paid over $300.00 and had to clean the stove and cleaned myself, the top of the fridge was not even touched, so I re-cleaned the fridge, mopped the kitchen floor, vacuumed the entire home again (they never even vacuumed the walk in closet. I called the owner (Jessica) to let her know how work was being performed at the service level (if I were the manager, I would want this brought to my attention). Furthermore, she did NOT offer to make it right BUT she thanked me and said she would talk to her girls. The ONLY reason I gave them 2 stars is because they did show up and they were very polite on the phone. This business did not do quality work!

2 local gals have worked at my mother and dads house for over a year. I am doing their review since they do not have access to a computer. The first thing mom said to me 2 days after they first cleaned, was she had never had anyone (including me) clean the way she did 40 years ago. The floors, kitchen and bathrooms are very clean every time I am there, at least 2 times a week. I really appreciate the work they do for them. It makes my Mom (91) and Dad (89) very happy to have the house clean, laundry room, 3 bedrooms and dinning room included. The ladies also change and wash their bedding. My Dad takes care of Mom and he can't do much else around the house. Thank you 2 Local Gals for all you do for my folks, including picking Mom up off the floor when she fell.

I couldn't imagine how my experience could have been worse. The guy we talked to on the phone was extremely rude to my wife, called her spoiled, said we were shady, the damage they caused was somehow OUR fault, and called us liars. We purchased the house 11/17/16 and we had 3 lady's out to clean on 11/18/16, so we owned the house for 1 day. I was there to let them in at 9:00 and within 20-25 minutes of them starting one of them had already broken all 3 light covers on the lights in our bathroom. I had to be to work at 10:00, so I left and let them work. They called me at 12:00 saying they needed more time and it would be an additional charge. I told them our priority was the kitchen, master bathroom, and living room. They had 3 girls there for 3 hours and they called to tell me they needed another hour in order to finish the kitchen.. How is this even possible? The house had been unoccupied for a few months and was a 1/10 on a scale of how dirty it was, so what else could they have been doing? It takes 9 hours to sweep, mop, and clean a fridge?? I went ahead and told them to finish the kitchen and take the extra hour to do it right. By this time my mom was there moving in some of our boxes and stuff so she was watching them clean, as soon as they left my mom sent me pictures of our brand new stainless steel LG appliances with scratches all over them from whatever they used to clean them. We immediately called the office and that is when the guy on the phone proceeded to call us liars, spoiled, and say that the damage was our fault. I will never recommend this company to anyone and we are disputing all the charges with our bank. Find someone else to clean your house, these guys are an absolute joke and a nightmare to work with.

My husband had been hospitalized for 2 weeks then required 24/7 care for a month. My house is not an unkempt house but things got away from me. I called 2localgals and set a day for help. What I received was much, much more than 'help". The first thing I noticed when I came home after it had been cleaned--it did not smell like harsh chemicals. It smelled fresh and airy. Truth: my home has never been cleaner. Every wall, floor, doorframe, baseboard, ceiling fan, mirror, clean. My couches were brushed, my cat trees were clean and brushed, all the white blinds in windows were actually gleaming white again, they even cleaned the cords to the blinds. Bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, TV room, immaculate. My office on a good day has a small layer of dust--not after they were finished-no dust anywhere. Inside windows, mirrors shower doors-sparkling. I have 2 cats and could not find a cat hair anywhere. Inside my refridg-clean. My pantry clean and ORGANIZED. Cabinets oiled. I could just go on and on --I will call them every 3 months or so just because a persons home needs the care. Please give 2localgals a call I promise it will be the best thing you have ever done. Called to get an estimate on cleaning, found out they charge a service fee of $25 just to come out to your house. Lady said is included cleaning supplies but I have my own, I'm allergic to many different things so I clean with different products. That it's $40 per girl, per hour
