My house always sparkles and is ready for company after a Merry Maids visit. I love to know they will be coming about the same time every two weeks as my husband and I are retired and try to leave while they are performing their magic!! I’ve been with them for several years and have had very few complaints. When I have reported a problem, they’ve always tried to make it right. Great customer service.

Using Merry Maids was my first time ever using a house cleaning service. I will not be using this company again because I set my appointment for 11:30am and no one showed until 1:30pm. I planned my day around being at home at this time to let them in, I waited as long as I could and my husband had to cancel a meeting to come home and let them in our home. No one gave me a courtesy call to inform me they were on their way, or how much longer they would be, much less apologize for my inconvenience. I had to call twice to ask and never got a clear answer as to why I’m waiting 2 hours.I am 9 months pregnant, when I pay for a service that is supposed to make my life easier I don’t expect a company to completely inconvenience my day and my husbands.

The two women who came to my house worked pretty hard. But they did not dust my kitchen appliances. They did not clean around side of my toilets. The coffee table in my library was not dusted. Everything else seem to be done very well.

I have a contract for 24 cleanings with merry Maids. The first time any employee ever came to our house, one left, and the other maid said that the girl left because "she didn't want to clean the house because it was too much work". I called the main office and was told she had a "family emergency". They promptly sent two more cleaning ladies. They did good but only cleaned areas of high traffic. I called and was told that "they don't move furniture". That would have been helpful info from the beginning because we have 5 dogs (they were made aware) and need deep clean every time. I called multiple times to have them return and actually clean the areas they missed (cobwebs, mopping, dusting TV stand, cleaning shower walls) two times they returned with Rude attitudes! After the 4th incident, they suggested they give me different maids. I agreed. These two do much better, but still miss basic critical cleaning. I have to "pre-clean" before they come because they don't do certain things-- even after I left a note for them on what things I'd like them to do. They come 2x/month. Now I'm stuck with merry Maids until my contract ends. If you need a quick clean for a party or something, they are good. But continually keeping our house clean (especially us because we have many puppies) they do mediocre work and I have to pre clean before they come and post clean after they leave to get all the stuff they missed.

After being given several chances to do right, I have given up on this company. The gals aren't motivated and apparently underpaid. I constantly had to stay on them, did you clean the toilet, did you mop this floor, I know you didn't vacuum here (since dirt still there). It was very frustrating. In and out of our house within 1.5 hrs for a large home. On their phones a lot. Have had walls ruined from them being lazy and not unplugging the power cord to the vacuum and seeing how far they can go to the next room, rubbing against the corners. Bleach on carpet. The list goes on.

I have been using Merry Maids since April, and each week they have not cleaned my house properly, Basic house cleaning 101, no dusting, counters not washed. floors not cleaned, toilets missed, beds made with the sheet inside out with all the seams showing, one bed made one not. A few times they have shown up after 4 pm and left after 6, disrupting our dinner. They have no- showed. I call and complain and all they do is say they are sorry, but they still charge my card.!!!! I spend my hard earned money to have my house clean and to be quite honest I should hire teenagers to come in and clean they would do a better job and cost less! Today they sent 2 maids that I have strictly told them to never send again because the are the worst 2 of the bunch, that is it! I am DONE.I am canceling my service, my patience is done.

Almost Perfect! I found this company due to it's great reviews. I had a move out clean on a 1600 sqft home. The price was unbelievably reasonable. I was disappointed with the way the home was cleaned originally, but after the concerns were brought to management, everything was perfect. I am overall very happy with the service and would certainly hire them again.

We have a security system so I know for a fact that they were only at my house for less than an hour for the first cleaning. That set the precedent, I knew they weren’t going to do a good job. It’s like they skimmed thru as fast as possible to leave. Never had a deep clean the first time like promised. I even slapped a mosquito on my bathroom mirror the day they were coming to clean. It was still there on the mirror when I got home. I called to complain about not cleaning the mirrors and other stuff so they came back the next day to clean what they missed but the mosquito was still there. They were here 5 times but only one cleaning was done well and that was only because the supervisor came. We cancelled the service because I was tired of calling to complain. Then they had the nerve to charge me the initial fee that was waived when I signed the contract.. I never received the type of service that was promised. I will never recommend Merry Maids to anyone!
