As a brand new homeowner, the very last thing you want to find after a long day of work is water cascading down from every recessed light on the first floor of your home. Especially, when you find it after hours and hours of water damage had been done. Fortunately, Ryan with Servpro of Belle Meade/West Nashville, showed up in what felt like 10 minutes. He brought an entire team that immediately began moving furniture and installing dryers for the hardwood floors, as he began to thoroughly explain the process to me. Due to a plumbing malfunction, the flooring in the master bedroom & bathroom had to be replaced, along with the dining room and kitchen walls, ceiling and floors. In that moment, I felt as though my house would never feel or look the same ever again. But, from that moment until the very last minute of the process, Ryan continued to keep me updated on the progress and make me feel like I was their #1 priority. My house is now as good as new (maybe even better!). I honestly can’t imagine going through that agonizing process with anyone else. I would recommend them to anyone!

When people think of first responders, usually the police or firefighters come to mind. The skilled folks who work for Serv-Pro of Belle Meade are also first responders -- arriving at all hours and in all weather to address your water or fire damage. In my case, Jayme and his crew remediated the mold that was discovered in the crawlspace of my new construction home. As a person who had been made ill by mold in the past and had been under medical treatment for three years to recover from it, it mattered to me that the remediators be certified in mold remediation (I can't tell you how many horror stories I read about on toxic mold support groups of remediators who didn't follow certified protocol and ended up contaminating the whole house) and that they took my history seriously. I fully admitted to being mildly paranoid about the process (I've earned the right to that paranoia :-); Jayme and his crew always took my questions seriously and addressed or explained any concerns. The only minor blip (because my crawlspace is now encapsulated and remains mold-free and that was my main goal) is that I think the folks at Serv-Pro of Belle Meade seem to stay so busy, it's hard to get responses via email sometimes.I wonder if they need more support in that regard. I'm grateful that they take their jobs so seriously and appreciate the thorough work that they did!

Recently, my mother-in-law's water heater burst and made a huge mess in her condo. Because the water damage was significant, the insurance company called SERVPRO in to deal with the situation. Ryan Dixon with SERVPRO came in and within 1 hour, he had a crew at my mother-in-law's condo moving furniture and taking up the floors. A couple of weeks later, when she was able to move back in, Ryan stopped by to check on my mother-in-law and even hooked up her washer and dryer for her. We could not have been more pleased with the service that Ryan and his team provided. While this type of situation is never a fun experience, SERVPRO made a bad situation a lot more tolerable. I recently bought a used truck with a strong cigarette smoke smell inside it. Given my allergies, I was nervous that the smoke smell might never come out, and I almost did not buy the truck. Thankfully, I called SERVPRO of Belle Meade first. They informed me of a new process for deodorization that is guaranteed to remove certain odors, including cigarette smoke. They said the process can often take as little as an hour. My truck was treated quickly and with great customer service. I'm so glad I called! The smoke smell is gone, and I love my new truck. I'd recommend them for any type of odor removal (especially cigarette) from your vehicle or property.

We have some custom draperies in our home that needed cleaning. Also, some of the hooks that attach the drapes to the rods had broken and needed replacing. We contacted a designer friend who suggested that we call ServPro to assess the work. ServPro sent Len Creech, their textiles specialist, who came out, sized up the cleaning and repairs to the drapes and after doing some research, sent us an estimate. We scheduled the work and Len spent hours doing the cleaning and repairs onsite, including a repair of the mechanism on a Venetian blind in the dining room. He did all the cleaning, replaced the hooks, and restrung the rope in the rods and the blinds. He also suggested some fixes to our A/C vents to improve airflow and reduce wear and tear on the drapes. After the work was done, we noticed an issue with the way the drapes meshed when they were closed. Len promptly returned to adjust the hangers and the problem was solved. We were very pleased with the quality of Len’s work and his responsiveness to all of our concerns. We highly recommend using ServPro of Belle Meade/West Nashville for this kind of cleaning and repair.

On a freezing cold night in January 2016 with eight inches of snow on the ground, a chimney fire spread and through our home. The next morning, my wife and I dreaded getting out of bed in a neighbor's guest room where we had spent a short night. We felt overwhelmed. That Saturday morning, we made two calls, one to State Farm and one to Rob Dixon with SERVPRO. Within two hours, he and his crew met us at our home and began serving us with professionalism and kindness. While I had seen the impact of the fire the night before, my wife, Lynn Marie had not. Although we sensed what proved to be true -- that the house and its contents would be a total loss -- we were both in a bit of shock that morning as we began looking at the damage in daylight. Rob and his team began the work of putting a tarp on the roof, and boarding up walls. Lynn Marie began opening draws in the kitchen and taking pictures with her iPhone. Rob looked at her and said, "Lynn Marie, you can take all the pictures you want but we're going to take thousands of pictures. Then we will enter all the information that your insurance company will need." Up until that point, Lynn Marie had not cried. But at that moment she did, hugging Rob in relief as a huge burden lifted off of her and our shoulders. She had assumed it would be our task to take all the pictures and itemize every item. To discover that the SERVPRO team would carry that weight seemed too good to be true. It was true. In reality, that first day with the SERVPRO team simply gave a tiny insight into all the ways that Rob Dixon and all the men and women who work with him would help us navigate the weeks ahead. Because of their wise recommendations and patient support, we completed the daunting task of photographing, itemizing, and documenting financial information for every item in our home in a fraction of the time we anticipated. The cost for SERVPRO's service was covered by State Farm but even if it wasn't, I cannot imagine tackling the task without SERVPRO. With SERVPRO, we documented everything and emptied the house in less than a month. If we had not had their help, Lynn Marie and I would have been working for months . . . and losing our minds in the process. Lynn Marie and I were fortunate as we dealt with the impact of the fire in our home because we knew Rob Dixon, knew the type of service that SERVPRO offers, and called them for help the morning after the fire. No company could have served us better or helped us more through this difficult time than SERVPRO of Belle Meade/West Nashville. Customer service at its best. I had been putting off having my air ducts cleaned for far too long, and finally got around to calling Servpro Belle Mead. Scheduling was quick and friendly, the cost was provided upfront, and I was promised a great experience with the techs. The morning of the service, the truck arrived right in the middle of the projected window - which was a 30 minute window rather than the 2-3 hours most service companies give you. The techs were professional, friendly, and efficient. They asked for a walk-through of the house and garage to take a look at the system, then explained the exact process they were going to go through. The cleaning itself was thorough but efficient, and included each individual air vent cover getting wiped down by hand at the end. The only hiccup occurred when the techs ran short on tape to reseal the ducts to the system in the garage. Rather than doing a half-baked job and running off, though, they called in another truck and apologized for the "inconvenience" and the "mistake" of not having an extra roll. In all there was no drama, surprises, hidden costs, or pressure to buy additional services. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

We had an 8 inch roof drain pipe separate during a down pour 2 inch plus rain storm. We took several hundreds of gallons of water in the store. I was called at 11:45PM and told we have a bad leak. When I got to the store water was raining from the ceiling on the 1st floor, and it covered about 120 foot circle. I found the water running across the second floor another 120 foot area. Imagine your home is going to be sold/closed in 5 days and then you discover a busted AC drain pipe was leaked water in your attic and damaged drywall, trim and carpet. That is the situation I was in. These guys got the water mitigation done and the repairs completed on a very accelerated timeline. 10-07-17 Had a ice maker filter, break, water went everywhere , tried to mop up the water but the water wouldn't stop after turning off the water source. I called the ins.Company and they recommended ServoPro so I called them and a representive came out to take charge of the water problem. I was literally stunned and didn't know what to do first..our insurance had two choices, one of which was Servpro of Belle Meade, I was stunned that Ryan, the site manager, appeared at the house within 30 minutes and his crew followed shortly thereafter and begin a long and thorough process of water mitigation...Ryan was absolutely our only anchor during that chaotic time, guiding us through the process and helping me with insurance details and documents for the recovery of our furniture, etc, etc. The number of tasks related to the damage is huge and painful, but their people helped every step of the way, putting things in areas to be reviewed and removing the "total loss" items.
