Yes the clean houses alright but they don't treat the employees fair. This place fired me because of a facial expression. We all have bills to pay and children to feed and to fire someone over something like that is just ridiculous!!! I wouldn't recommend this place simply because of of how they treat the employees. Also they hire a lot of illegal immigrants and ghetto girls so you have NEVER know who's really in your home. No Drug screens, Background checks and you don't even have to be a Legal US citizen to work here.

I've been extremely happy with the service we've received with The Cleaning Authority. We've been clients for several years and they always do a great job. Any time the team has had to reschedule, they've given me plenty of notice, called first and been flexible. The team who cleans my home is friendly and they do a comprehensive job. They are always professional, on time and clean well. The sparse times in which there were areas of concern after a cleaning, they quickly came out and had a team reclean the area and had a manager come to inspect. I've been extremely happy with the cleanings and customer service.

The team was great. Indifferent to some agencies they worked on the fine details. The team used a toothbrush to clean the grout in our shower. I'm oldschool on the 1st rating 4 stars is all I give, in the next visit if it's like the 1st I will give the 5 stars.

I can't review their level of cleaning because they are so unresponsive. It took 2 weeks for me to receive a quote, and then a MONTH to get my initial cleaning on the calendar. Once I was on the calendar (I had to call the office to ask, because they did not call to notify me of the date), they did not accommodate my scheduling request. I called the office three times to tell them that the scheduled time did not work for me, none of my calls were returned. I eventually emailed and told them to cancel my cleanings, I would be looking for another service. The service was canceled, but not surprisingly... I did not receive a response to the email.

You don't realize how bad these people are until you get a new service. Constantly leaving moving items and just leaving them, cleaning products left out, broken items. Tried to call to speak to owner and was told they could maybe get back with me in a week. Go with a more local smaller company, trust me!

A great place to work. I wish the pay was a little better just because I'm a single mom of 2 kids but it's not bad im getting by. I have made many friends and I love my job. I'm a trainer and sometimes it can be hard but for the most part it's not bad. I like that we don't do the same thing everyday. I mean yes we clean everyday but every house is different and if you get a partner that you really connect with makes your day even better. You can get out and about without staying in one place and they do give raises. The owners are super nice and help you and are there for you if you have any problems. Todd and his wife Susan are awesome and management is great also. I like the fact I get to meet new people everyday. I have really connected with some of my regular customers also. They make me enjoy my job even more. This is a great place to work.

he Cleaning Authority was recommended to us, so we didn't expect any surprises from that company. Unfortunately there was A LOT. To first initial cleaning crew got late for few hours. They were cleaning the house only for 2 hours instead of promised 3-4 hours when we were hiring them. Crew has no idea how to clean at all, they did only 20% of their own list! House was left completely dirty. So they sent new crew to fix it - it was waste of time! For two cleanings they did less then 50% of what we paid for. Next cleaning supposed to be in 2 weeks and... no one came! We contacted call center, but never heard back from the company! In evening we got message: "I'm sorry to have wasted your time waiting and wondering. I am not going to be able to continue cleaning at your home. I have lost some key employees/cleaners and do not have enough enough room on the schedule for recent new customers. Thank you for signing-up and trying our service." REALLY, Gary?!!! In evening? That's not a business - that's a complete 100% mess in everything, literally no single good thing about that company.

I have tried several cleaning companies and finally found one I love! The owner came out to give me an estimate, and she was very accommodating to my needs with two kids and a dog. I felt comfortable that our house would be cleaned professionally and if I did have concerns they would be welcomed. Since they have come in and cleaned I can not say enough good things about the service. The staff is professional, and leave names of who came to clean along with who checked up on their cleaning. I love the fact that the products they use are eco friendly and safe my young children and dog. Details such as vacuuming furniture, changing bed sheets and dusting all my pictures are so appreciated. Any scheduling changes I have had to make have been taken care of with no issues. I highly recommend them - they are affordable, professional and I look forward to coming home to a clean house after they visit.

I have been through many cleaners in the past 2 years, mostly small business types. I have dark hardwood floors throughout my downstairs and with a dog and 3 kids, they get quite dirty. The Cleaning Authority team is the only one to get them cleaned the way I want them done! I have been very pleased with the service provided thus far with The Cleaning Authority. They have no trouble cleaning with my dog in the house and have been very responsive when emailing or calling about scheduling changes. I am happy to have found them!!

They clean my grandparents house and do an AWFUL job every time. Its like they don even touch the rooms. On top of that the lady who usually cleans the house smells like a walking ash tray and likes to take smoke breaks on the job... None of them ever use gloves and go from cleaning the toilet to the kitchen. For what they are charging my poor grandparents Im better off doing it myself. AND I WILL FROM NOW ON

Awful company to work for. They under pay their employees, and the owner Todd likes to skim paychecks. When he would pay us for travel time he would use google maps to find the driving time and never calculate for traffic which would have added hours to everyones paychecks. He would pair two spanish speaking workers together who spoke no english to go clean peoples home WHO DIDNT SPEAK SPANISH. He would make workers clean up to 2 extra houses (totaling 5-6 full houses a day) despite how exhausted they where, even threatening termination. I remember my partner had FAINTED and TODD threatened to FIRE HER if she didnt finish the job. I went and got her water and completed the job myself, getting scolded for going over the time I was given to clean the house. I didn't have gloves one time and refused to clean a toilet without them, they threatened to fire me. I was accused of stealing from a customer (proven innocent) and the company did everything they could, going to the point of making things up in order to terminate me despite me innocence. Todd would also charge older customers more money then younger customers for the same job. None of the cars they gave us where safe, refusing to get most of them fixed. Im sure I could keep going for hours but you get the point. Theres a reason TCA of South Charlotte is losing customers and getting complaints on a daily basis.

Today was my first day with Cleaning Authority. All the gals were very nice, friendly and polite. No issues there. Perhaps I misunderstood my initial cleaning service. I’m not sure what detailed and thorough means to Cleaning Authority. Mid way through I had gone up stairs to check on my son’s room which really is always the most needed room. When I looked under the bed it had not been swiftered under, so I moved some things around and they got under there. The corner of his room was also not touched and dust balls all over. Our entire house is hardwoods so it’s not hard to Swift and get around and under things. I only had them do the master bedroom, sons room and the guest room upstairs. No doors, no window sils, or blinds were cleaned. I guess around toilet bowls and in the back isn’t considered anymore either, because those too I cleaned after they left. The shower walls also had to be cleaned, but they did do that after I pointed out the pink water stain on them. I saw Lori do the microwave and the gal she was “training” did the stove. Microwave still has food stuck in it, and the stove under the knobs not touched. The family room floor was still left with dog hair and they never walked on the side of the couch where again dust balls live and we’re still living when they left. I consider myself overall tidy. I told the supervisor I needed help with stuff that I just can’t keep up with in general every day living. They were here for a total of 3 hours. I’m sorry to say that I’m cleaning after they left the things that I feel should have been sparkling. My kitchen floors in the corners not touched and cob webs still linger. I am very disappointed in my first experience and do not plan on having your service back. I’m very saddened because I really need the help. I will be looking elsewhere. If this review gave me the option to leave photos, I would. I wish the quality control inspector would have asked me is there anything we can go through again. However, they were in a hurry to get home and beat traffic.

We had the cleaning authority for over a year, they often changed personnel that came to our house and would change our timing without telling us occasionally, but overall we were content with the service for the price. The real issue was the last time they came out to our house one of them swapped our HTC usb c gen2 cable for a knock off no name usb c gen1 cable. We thought it was strange that someone would replace a cord with a knock off, but not only is it a different cord but our devices will no longer even charge and they were charging normally that morning, the cords do not even look at all alike. We only have the two usb c cables in our house that came with our phones so we know it didn't come form elsewhere in our home. I work from home so not only did they do it while I was in the other end of the house, but I can 100% guarantee that no one else has been in our home this entire week let alone on the day in question. When I called to ask for some clarification they informed me that they would contact the ladies to see what may have happened and get back to me. When they called back they told me that the ladies would never do such a thing and that it was likely my kids or their friends (which I don't have any kids and they have in my file I don't have any). When I said as much she told me that someone else must have been in my house and that it wasn't them. I then told her to please cancel my service and she told me that I should double check my cord to be sure it isn't the same one. Obviously she wasn't listening to what I had said, including that it is a COMPLETELY different type of cord. It took me another 5 minutes of insisting that they cancel my service before she agreed. If this had been a misunderstanding that would have been one thing, but with the circumstance as it is we feel that is likely not the case. Our initial thought was that perhaps they had damaged it and tried to replace it with one of their own or something. However after talking to their office I am less convinced of a mistake and much more uncomfortable with the whole situation. I now find myself questioning if I should go through my whole house to see if this perhaps was not isolated. As mentioned above we didn't have an issue for over a year but it only takes one new team doing something strange to make you uncomfortable with this type of service. You have to trust these people to come into your home and I wanted to let people know that not all of these people can be trusted, especially since the office doesn't necessarily seem to care about getting to the bottom of the situation. After this occurrence and how it was handled, we were no longer comfortable allowing them into our home.

I worked for this company on and off. I typically like to clean I enjoyed working here. The hours are great but it all depends on how you clean and how well you clean. This was the only job that accepted me with no license and no I did not drive. On the other hand Gary can be a little hard & blunt. But hey, he is running a business and The cleaning Authority have plenty of customers, but what people need to understand is ROTATION. And yes, Cleaning Authority needs to make it known what rotation is because some customers don’t understand that. Overall if I would work back for them I would, but I’m in school. I’m black myself and to be honest Hispanics clean better and do not steal. I wouldn’t want anybody In my house. However, I do recommend The Cleaning Authority just request certain people. SIMPLE, EASY and you will be satisfied.

Terrible company. Overcharges customers, overworks and underpays employees. Many of the staff is not trained well and many people in the office cant get it together. Would highly suggest you avoid The Cleaning Authority. This is the correct company. Dont be fooled by his reply. Sleezy.
