With work, being in school, and having two dogs that love to shed it was hard finding the time to keep up with regularly cleaning my home. I'd never used a cleaning service before and being a bit of a control freak, I was apprehensive to letting someone else take on the task of cleaning my home but I decided to give Merry Maids a try and I am so glad I did! As soon as I opened my door my home smelled fresh, my shelves and furniture were dust and pet hair free and they paid attention to all the small details including replacing my garbage bags after removing the trash. I immediately called them back and scheduled for regular cleanings. I have one less thing to stress about it in my life and it feels awesome!

On November 14, 2017 I had cleaning done at my home. I have used Merry Maids of Glenside several time before. On the 14th while cleaning the handle on my toilet broke. I went to Home Depot to get a replacement and could not find the right fit. I had a plumber who purchased the replacement part and repaired the toilet. I received an invoice from the plumber. I was told by the office manager, Arlene to send the invoice in and the owner will take care of it. It's now January 10, 2018 and the plumber is not yet paid. I called the office today and no one can give me a reason as to why the invoice is not paid. I am so frustrated with the service I received from Merry Maids in Glenside. This is not the first time that I have experienced something broken in my home. The first time I called and let the office manager know what happened. I did not send Merry Maids a bill for the broken tooth brush holder. I am expecting the company to do good to me.

The cleaning was exceptional, the service was exemplary and my apartment was cleaned impressively well. Very professional. I love the fact that when i get home from work all I have to do is cook, relax, then sleep. Would definitely recommend this service.

Amazing job, called them at 7:30am for an emergency cleaning and they got me on the schedule and did a fantastic job. The team that arrived to my house were very Quick. When I came back home from walking my dog they were done. My home is 500 square feet and they knocked it out in an hour. I couldn’t believe it but they did. Would 100% recommend them!!!

Great cleaning service. They were very timely. All the appliances in our kitchen looked like new afterwards and they even cleaned the dishes in the sink. They took all their trash with them and brought there own cleaning supplies which was a great touch.

Their a friendly staff and respectful also they know how to clean. Trust me I don't like anyone cleaning my house but I officially made them my monthly cleaners.

I live in a 3 bedroom and 2.5 bath condominum and it can get really messy. I found Merry Maids through Google as a recommendatiom and decided to try it. I've had some local cleaning services but this was by far the best experience I had. Excellent level of care was shown when handling my stuff, there were no communication issues and the staff was very cheerful. The service was great, I would definitely recommend to people who are looking for some quality service. I will definitely be scheduling more cleaning times with them in the future.

My house has never smelled so fresh and sparkled so bright! I'm a single man living in a single house who doesn't want to spend all his free time cleaning. I've used cleaning services before through referrals from neighbors but was always left disappointed. Each time my house was cleaned there was something that was missed or poorly cleaned. My mom used Merry Maids and was always really happy with their service but they were never available here in the big bad city until now. They seem to have a systematic approach to cleaning that's covers all the bases each time they visit. It's also incredibly easy to make an appointment and the service crew arrived promptly on time. Give them a shot to clean your place. I promise that you'll be quick to make another appointment once you see the results.

We will not be using this service again. On the surface things looked clean, but shortly after they left we saw many items were not done entirely. This alone would not warrant the review, however when we called to discuss they were very rude. Over priced and incomplete, topped off with rude service from headquarters.
