Ray was polite and very informative. He gave me several options with quotes and recommendations without being pushy.
Called because of a clogged bathroom sink drain. Getting an appointment was easy. My scheduled time was somewhere between 12:00-2:00. At 11:30, the technician Ryan called to say he was on his way. He arrived on time at 12:00 along with his trainee Hunter. They quickly assessed the situation. Within about 20 minutes Ryan had the drain open. He advised me on how to better take care of the drain. Both men were polite, friendly and best of all efficient. We quickly took care of the bill via an I-Pad and they were on their way. I'm very pleased with the service I received form Thomas & Galbraith.
My Experience with Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing was very much a great process. From Working with Matt Smith to detail out what we needed to replace our failed tank water heater, and working out the details to install a tankless system with water softener. After we agreed on system and price, Adam and Cody did a fantastic, professional clean job installing the system in addition to listening to my concerns, which included explaining all the needed details on care, maintenance, and procedures to keep the system humming along. I also opted in for Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing’s care plan that covered the entire system maintenance for one year. I think this is a good value considering I am not a Plumbing specialist and the professionals in their field that have the experience and training service modern plumbing systems. Lastly, I feel the price and value met our family’s needs and budget with consideration with a well-maintained system, that system it will last over 15-20 years.
They did a fantastic job on fixing our master bath sink. Don was quick and efficient and he was early too which was great! I’ll definitely recommend Thomas and Galbraith to family and friends!

I used this company for my elderly Mother in law, and to my surprise the technician was wonderful. Tracey was very patient talking my mother in law through the process. I know dealing with older customers can be an challenge but he did it with grace and was so compassionate to her! She felt so comfortable and now has piping hot water with her new water heater!! My first experience with Thomas and Galbraith has been nothing short of amazing!! These folks really lived up to their reputation. I had some major repairs done today (under slab) and I couldnt be any happier with how the whole process went!! Bid was fair and comparable to other companies, work was schedule quickly, and execution was flawless! The two gentlemen (Josh and Rob from Indy) were very friendly and extremely respectful to me, my family/pets, and my property! So thankful they were out today and glad to have just one less thing to stress about! Of all the plumbers I have used in the past few years (there have been SEVERAL) these guys are my new go to and the best I've worked with!
While getting it working today was, literally, impossible, they explained why and got us an appointment for getting necessary system replacement promptly. Along with crediting some of today’s parts costs against that.
Brandon was wonderful. We had a backup in our basement drain and he was very thorough and checked all the iut spots to find the clog. Not only did he fix the clog, but he gave some excellent suggestions for preventative measures. Will recommend to all our neighbors and friends.
Ray was the service technician who came to our house. He called to notify me he was on his way. He was very informative through every step - even thought it was all Greek to me - he took extra time to try to explain it to me. He was very clean, you couldn't even tell he was there. To sum it up... Ray was excellent!!
I’ve only lived here for two months and I knew that the air conditioning and furnace system or a bit of a mishmash and when the air-conditioner went out it didn’t surprise me. They were able to come the very next morning, they searched out a part and brought it back within 15 minutes and they did an extensive amount of work on the outside machine particularly an inside. Today's service went very well. I do think you need to send out your service reminders a month earlier. By the time i call for a summer tune up in late May you dont have service avaible till September!
Technician Ray Satterwhite called ahead to tell us when he would be arriving. He did arrive on time & thoroughly explained all that needed to be done. He was ultimately respectful & conscientious throughout his entire time in our home. Repairs were done in a timely fashion. I am extremely satisfied with Ray's & Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. I only wish all technicians were as pleasant to deal with as Ray was while in our home. Thank you.

My technician Brandon J was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He worked diligently to fix my clog and repair my pipe. He explained each step and made sure I understood the process. He gave me proactive ideas to prevent issues in the future. He was the best service professional I have used!! If i could i would give him more than 5 stars!!
The technicians arrived on time, were extremely courteous and kind, handled themselves professionally, diligently worked through the process of installing a tankless water heater, and cleaned up after the water heater was installed. My experience with Kevin of Thomas & Galbraith Heating/Cooling was very positive. My air conditioner fan was running, but the house was not cooling. Kevin showed me the burnt wires and tested the broken capacitor. The air conditioner capacitor needed to be replaced. Kevin was nice, demonstrated the problem and completed the repair efficiently. I am very satisfied with the service.

This company's technician was able to unclog my plumbing line very easily, unlike the other very well known company that I'm afraid to mention negatively in fear of a lawsuit! All I can say is be careful with companies whom diagnostic techs work on commission! At this point, I think I may have almost been scammed by another company whom claimed I had a collapsed line and their auger "could not get through the clay and mud." It took about a week to determine the problem and a within code fix. The price to fix my sewer drainage issue was not cheap but much less than my worse case scenario. I will definitely call T&G for all of my future plumbing needs. I loved the introduction of the service technicians that were sent by text prior to their arrival. I felt like I knew these men and upon arrival I found them to be just as pleasant as their introduction claimed. Again T&G did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them for any service they provide. I believe customer satisfaction is rated very high in their mission statement.

During the hottest July in history 107 degrees+ and my A/C unit doesn't keep up to the job, I called Thomas & Galbraith A/C. My service specialist Ray S. was the most professional and courteous gentleman that I've had as a technician in my home in a long time. Kind, considerate and totally explained everything to me as he went along, got the job done in a short amount of time and got my house cooled off quickly. I am so appreciative of the job that Ray performed on my A/C, he is truly a specialist at what he does. No one wants to have an A/C outage on the weekend, but should you call T&G on the weekend, the polite representative will let you know that the $97 service fee is augmented by a $43 "emergency" fee. This is understandable (although not included in the advertisements); however, the representative cannot give a time that you will be contacted. My assertion is that, for an emergency, service should be somewhat immediate (i.e., on a Sunday, if they can't get back to you before 5 PM, what is the point of paying the $43--just wait until Monday). Due to the uncertainty, I could not continue with the transaction, and cannot recommend their "emergency" service. My recommendation to T&G would be: 1) be more transparent in your advertising about "additional fees may apply for emergency service," and 2) offer a service guarantee for "emergency" service, or offer a refund of the "emergency" fee.
Fantastic service! My technician arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and very polite and friendly. I feel educated about the process and my choices and never felt pressured to make a decision.

Brandon was very professional, experienced, and a pleasure to have in my home even with the fact we had a bad drain clog problem. Used Thomas&Galbraith to purchase and install new HVAC and water heater. From the sales visit, to the day of install, everyone was friendly and professional. They also put more work into the process than other companies. The sale visit was very thorough and inspected my current setup and the need of the house. The install team built everything on site and made a perfect custom system for my house. I HIGHLY recommend Thomas&Galbraith!!!
While I wasn't happy at having to wait several days for an appointment, I was at least able to call and get my appointment moved up by a day. That was good as our general experience with HVAC services in the area hasn't been great. No concept of emergency calls up here. BUT once the technician got here, he was GREAT! While our home was renovated recently and before we purchased, some interesting connections for our units.made for a longer visit than I'm sure he expected. He persevered and got to the root of our issues - which had been missed by the servicer in May. We feel a lot better about using our AC units now thanks to Stuart from T&G!

Today, two techs came to our home to help with a difficult drain problem in our master bathroom. They appeared on time and got right to work. Not only did they repair the drain, they also installed bolts that should have been in the drain originally, fixed a tub and sink in the guest bathroom, and left us with a product for drain maintenance. All at a very reasonable price. It was a pleasure to work with these two representatives of this company. We highly recommend this organization to anyone in need of a plumber.
We just had Technician Brandon out to clear out a secondary line from our master bathroom. So professional and he had suggestions on how we can reduce the possibility of future clog in the line. Hint: those environmentally safe, biodegradable wipes don’t degrade!. For only $93, and 1 year guaranteed was a great price.

We had the discharge line for our sump pump on the exterior of our house replaced and rerouted. The crew showed up and spent several hours digging up the front yard and laying new piping. They were professional, polite, efficient and did a great job. Before and after the job, they walked us through the process/job and answered all our questions. We highly recommend and would use them again in the future.

Scheduled an emergency after hours plumbing appointment for a drain backflowing into my basement with 3 inches of water and climbing and us frantically trying to contain it. Agreed to pay all the extra emergency fees on the phone and made it clear we were desperate for help and trying to save our possessions. Was assured that a tech would be in contact "soon" before coming out. 2 hours pass with no phone call. I finally had to call them to be notified that "Your service appointment was cancelled because your landlord didn't answer her phone to approve payment." This was after I was assured on the phone that I was approved by the landlord previously to schedule service appointments AND me also telling them this was an emergency flooding situation. We spent hours combating this flood waiting in vain for a call that never came. When I asked why I was not called and notified of this lack of response from the landlord before the service call was cancelled (yes they absolutely have my cell phone # on file) the customer service rep says "You can call again tomorrow to schedule when you calm down" and then literally hung up on me with my basement still flooding and no hope in sight. This was at 10pm 7/23/19. I immediately called Rotor-Rooter after she hung up on me and they came out in an hour and are fixing my pipe as I type this thank God! You guys just lost my heating & cooling business now and forever and if this is the way you treat your existing paying customers when they literally beg you for help in an emergency situation you better believe that I am most definitely going to spread the word about you from now till the end of time. From the very beginning of the process with Mark all the way through the installation, which I might add was a mere 2 days after our meeting with Mark, it was a very pleasurable experience. Mike and Ken were fantastic during the installation and even managed to find and repair a duct pipe that had come loose under our crawl space, which we were unaware had come disconnected. Lifelong customers for sure!
I’m satisfied. No issues with furnace installation. I just need to schedule my final payment today & we’re 100% complete. Excellent communication, I felt very comfortable with the company and would use them again. Upfront and trustworthy. I own many homes, so I end up dealing with lots of companies, so I really appreciate the stress free ones.
I am so happy with my experience with Thomas and Galbraith. The technicians that came to my house were so knowledgeable, polite and courteous. They called when they were on their way and were on time. They did an amazing job on replacing my entire HVAC system. The technicians worked cleanly and kept me update as they were replacing items. Before they left, Cody made sure I had a great understanding of my equipment and my thermostat. My house feels more comfortable with my new system.
T&G wasn't able to unclog my sewer and scheduled camera service to determine the nature of and location of the clog. However, I cancelled the second appointment yet I still received a bill for camera service. The reason for the 5 star review is how things were handled from here. Not only did Nathan call me, he also waived the $340 bill plus the $94 service call fee for the first visit. Now this is how customer service should be everywhere... thanks guys!

My technician, Kevin, called ahead to let me know exactly when he he would be arriving. He also sent a text with a picture of himself identifying him as a Thomas & Galbraith employee. He arrived promptly and completed his tune-up of my AC system in exactly the amount of time I was told it would take. Kevin was personable and professional, clearly explained what he found and showed me “before and after” pictures of the work he had done. Thomas & Galbraith has helped me out with two different drain clogs in the year that I've owned my house. Both times they've scheduled a window with relative timeliness, arrived on time, been courteous and educational, and fixed the issue without significant complications. The house is old with outdated plumbing materials and design, but they figure out how to fix it and teach me about why they're doing what they are and how I can address some of these issues myself. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for my next issue and I would happily recommend them to others.
The repair techs have friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. The equipment however doesn't seem to be up the quality i was assured. Or at the level that one would expect from a well respected, reputable company as Thomas and Gilbert. The unit I bought is larger than what was called for. The sales rep that I was sold more a higher cost would be much more efficient and better for my home. Thank you for your time.

Sam was polite, and it seemed to me, took more time checking our Ac than others we had come and do this service. He was very thorough in explaining to us was he did, including before and after photos. He did recommend some repairs and gave us several options for what we could choose to do, or delay doing including payment options. He answered all our questions to ur satisfaction. We made a decision we were comfortable with.
This experience was as good as could be expected considering the situation with a sewer drain being backed up in our basement. Needed my A/C unit repaired to restore that ice cold air we all crave in the summer time. The technician, Rod, was knowledgeable and highly professional. Rod educated me on preventative maintenance for residential A/C units and ways I could keep my unit in the best working condition possible. I will never be using this company again. On the phone, they told me they could come out and fix a gas leak in our basement for $94 plus the price of materials. When the guy got there, he said he didn’t have the correct materials and that he was going on vacation so he wouldn’t be able to come back and fix it anytime soon. He also quoted me $300+ for the work and gave me two different price points without explaining the benefits of each option. He then called another tech to see when he could come but kept increasing the estimated time it would take for him to fix it. It was almost like he was convincing the other tech not to come. The other guys said he couldn’t get to it until four days later. He also charged me $94 for just coming out to give me as estimate and do absolutely nothing. On their website, it says they do free in-home estimates. The receptionists also got my email address wrong twice after I tried calling to correct it so they could send me the receipt and I could dispute the charge. They still haven’t sent me the receipt.
I have used Thomas and Galbraith several times and I like them for a few reasons. First, they have an easy online contact form which they always respond to quickly. They came out the same day to repair my AC (and have always been fast in the past as well). Also, they don't try to sell me a new $10,000 furnace or AC unit every time something breaks- they are honest about fixing the problem, keeping my existing units as long as possible, and provide helpful information on the best times to replace when necessary. I trust them.

Brandon took time to explain everything that he was doing and cleaned up the area after he was done. He asked me if I would be ok to let him show Hunter how to handle the equipment and I was impressed with how he spoke to Hunter while training him. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. We had to get quite a bit replaced this month. Each technician that came out was very knowledgeable, well spoken and extremely courteous. I appreciate their ability to explain things thoroughly and comprehensibly without being overly technical. Our service was wonderful! I loved getting a text message telling me all about my technician, his picture, and how to track his arrival! Our technician called prior to arrival and arrived right when he said that he would. When he walked in he was polite and courteous, and even included my toddler and his friend. I had a utility tub that was blocked. They came out the next day.Hunter came out, he called and said he would be here in 40 minutes. He was here in about 30. He did a great job unclogging my sink. Would definitely use them again.
HVAC went south on a Sat. afternoon. Within 3 hours, Justin was at our door. Quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad capacitor. Replaced capacitor, thoroughly cleaned outside unit, and checked all other components inside and out, all the while providing useful information in a friendly, engaging manner. As long as this level of service keeps up, no way will we be going anywhere else.
Super nice and helpful! Very communicative. Called to confirm appointment 30-40 minutes before arrival and called upon arrival. Also helped save me money by suggesting several options once the problem was identified. I’d highly recommend T&G, especially Allen R.!

First time customer, tune up service was average I suppose. Tech was late but behaved professionally once he arrived. No before & after photos, so not sure exactly what service was performed. I would have appreciated a run down of what was inspected and what work was done instead of “looks good, thank you”.

I called to have a clog cleared in my laundry sink. The technician did successfully unclog the drain but when he replaced the pipes they were leaking more than a few drips. I brought this to his attention, stating to him that the thread didn’t look flush, there was no tape and not enough glue. He said that it looked fine to him, that it was leaking when he got there and he thought that the pipes should be replaced. I said okay if that’s the case it shouldn’t take long or cost too much and asked him to replace it. He said that he didn’t have the necessary items in his truck. He didn’t need anything special.... I thought I called a plumber. Now I gotta call another company to do what this company should have done...FRUSTRATED
Nathaniel McQueen was an amazing tech, very dedicated to his job and knowledgeable. We were scheduled in very quickly with a service call and though Nate was busy he took time to talk with us and explain everything he did. Nate was friendly, fast, and very respectful of our house. Its refreshing to have people work on your home who clearly love their job.
Corey provided excellent customer service. He is very professional and polite. I feel he is an asset to your company. I was confident with renewing my service contract and requesting additional work based on his service.
I always appreciate the experience of a technician helping me to become better educated with a repair. Nate did a great job of showing us not only what was wrong, but also what the outcomes, longterm, would be with the possible repair solutions. He had good data to back up his claims , so less guesswork for the options to consider. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic job!!!! I called on a Thursday and someone was out the next morning, which was my choice. My husband had to be a work at 2pm and when they made my appointment they made sure it was in the notes to try to be at my home as soon as possible and they were. Brandon was our guy today and he fixed the piping issue and was very professional. The price I was quoted was what we paid too. In the past I had used another company and let’s just say they are not trust worthy. But Thomas and Galbraith will be whom we call in the future for all our needs! Thank you Brandon J. Very professional from start to finish. Promptly provided estimate for replacing failed AC unit, walking us through the options and pricing. Technicians arrived right at scheduled time and completed the work quickly with no mess or damage. Very courteous and knowledgeable. I like the fact that they text the name and pictures of the employees before they arrive. Overall great job I would highly recommend.
