Nick did a wonderful job cleaning my carpets yesterday. He was able to get out more stains than I thought possible and even worked to tapper some of the harder ones (bleach). I was also happy he could clean my carpets being on the 14th floor in a condo building where most of the companies I called had to hook up to their truck. I would definitely recommend!

I used to own a Chem-Dry franchise in Pittsburgh, PA so when I moved to Raleigh I knew that I would want to use a local Chem-Dry since there is no better way to maintain your carpets and upholstery. When it came time to get the carpets cleaned I called and talked to every franchise that serves Wake County. When I called Mike at Chem-Dry of Cary he was very up front about pricing over the phone about how their pricing works. Mike gives an estimated time of arrival, rather than a window of time like many others. This means you can go about your day without wondering which part of that morning or afternoon window they will be showing up. I just used them for the second time in 2 years and both times the technicians were very punctual. This time I had a noon appointment and I got a phone call at 11:45 letting me know that they were running just a bit late and they were here by 12:20. Both times they have been to my home the technicians were knowledgeable and friendly and behaved in a very professional manner. No haggling over pricing, which can be a huge problem with many carpet cleaning companies. They measured the areas to be cleaned as we walked through and discussed the job at hand. I was provided with the exact cost prior to the cleaning which was exactly as I would have calculated it based on my conversation with the owner. The carpets were cleaned and the dry time was as advertised 1-2 hours and they look fantastic. The technicians leave behind a spot remover, at no cost, so that you can take care of the carpets in between cleanings. Chem-Dry of Cary's prices are very reasonable for the job that they do and I will definitely not be calling on anyone else to take care of my carpet and upholstery cleaning needs.

I would not recommend this provider for carpet cleaning. We received horrible service from them. They came into our house and "cleaned", barely spent any time on our carpets and left our carpet in the same exact state they were in before they arrived. I almost thought he was joking when he said he was finished. Our carpets looked like nothing had been done to them. All he did was spray water and some solution on them and rub it around with a towel attached to a machine. After he left, my husband worked on the carpets for hours and was able to get it looking better than this "professional" cleaner. Not to mention, all of the dirt and grime that this service was supposed to get up, came up using my husband's old vacuum cleaner. So we paid this service $181 just to do the carpets ourselves. I spoke the national customer service rep of this company and she told me that this location in particular is not using the products and equipment that they recommend. It's a scam. All this provider cares about is the money. Please save your money and hire someone who actually knows that they are doing. This guy was absolutely clueless and RUDE. I tried to call him back and ask questions and he immediately got defensive. I don't know how he thinks he provided good service. This particular provider really sucks and is giving the rest of the chem dry locations a bad name..I will never use this service again and will tell everyone I can about the terrible service so that no one wastes their money like I did.

Don't know what's going on. Obviously there's been a change of ownership and no one answers the phone. I called 4 different times and got a message that the business was being consolidated with other franchises. Didn't leave a message because I expected to speak with someone. Mike used to answer the phone reliably.

Not sure if I expected too much from my old carpet, but cleaning did get spots out. Really can't tell carpet was cleaned other that 1 trouble spot. Smelled OK and orang-ey but didn't look great, even in low-traffic areas. Yet again, I could be expecting too much for my old carpet. Carpet bonnets were used to clean floors, which I didn't think Chemdry uses. My older carpet didn't like the extra friction. Also, carpets were still damp 11+hrs after cleaning.

This is the second time we had Chem-Dry of Cary clean our carpets. Our dogs leave lots of hair and sometimes other interesting accidents on our carpets. Now they look brand new again! The staff are very professional, on time, and fast. We will certainly use Chem-Dry in the future.
