I've tried a TON of different apartment cleaners and these guys have been the best by far. I found MyClean on Yelp, read some reviews (especially the 1 star reviews and the way they were responded to), used the discount code, and went to their site. The booking process took like 3 minutes. I signed up for bi-weekly service. The cleaner arrived on time, stayed 15 minutes longer than estimated to make sure I was happy. She was great and polite. The apartment is SPOTLESS. She even cleaned to top of my dishsoap bottle tops! After she left, I received an email from the MyClean team about making this person my regular cleaner. Hopefully this level of service continues! Very happy with the entire MyClean experience so far!

When my regular housekeeper moved away, I reluctantly tried MyClean and I am SO glad I did! First, the website is so intuitive and easy, we were able to book someone right away. We had LaTrisha who was very lovely, prompt and did a terrific job. She brought the best smelling cleaning supplies. I gave her some direction but then felt like she had it under control. I stepped out and she was gone when I returned but left me with her name in case I wanted to use her again. Then the next day I got a great welcome package with coupons I'll actually use from other companies. Will definitely use them again.

I use MyClean from Airbnb rentals in NYC and Chi. Their website makes booking easy and I have found that their cleaners do a great job of following my customized instructions. They don't do laundry which isn't ideal but when I asked their COO Kenny about it he explained to me the challenges that laundry presents (especially in New York City where most apartments don't have a washer and dryer in the unit). Overall I think they're a good value for their frequency I need cleans and the ease of booking online plus I get to rack up more credit card points :))

I have tried private housekeepers and online services. Of everything I tried, I think My Clean is definitely the best. They instruct their cleaners to be more thorough than the average company, but I also have the flexibility to ask my cleaner to focus on some specific areas more than others. The first clean I booked needed major work in the kitchen, and the cleaner obliged politely and with great results. The cleaning since then has been more balanced. The first clean covered the rest of the apartment too by the way.

Hello, I wanted to share my unique perspective on MyClean as a company as a whole. I work for an NYC non-profit who has been invited by MyClean to provide financial counseling for MyClean's cleaners. They give us autonomy and access to offer services to any and all of their staff. Beyond this I can speak with some authority towards the business model they use, specifically that they have their cleaners on the payroll and that the cleaners are able to make near three times federal minimum wage and are offered benefits, as soon as they have proven that they are capable of doing the work consistently. Many other service providers would not be able to make this claim.

Then a friend of mine recommended MyClean and my search for a quality cleaning service was over. I was thoroughly impressed with MyClean throughout the entire process. I have had a great experience with MyClean. After my first appointment, customer service contacted me to see how it all went. The company is very customer service based and it's nice to know they're truly committed to giving quality service. In addition to this, the cleaner (Virginia) was very polite and made sure to ask me exactly what I wanted done. Also, she puts all of my things back where she found them, which is an awesome touch! The rates are extremely affordable, and I've even booked a bi weekly cleaning to keep my apartment spotless. In a city like NY there's just no time to do it yourself! Jess, the cleaner, left behind a 50 point checklist for all the stuff she was supposed to clean. The checklist includes some unbelievable items like doing 1 load of dishes in the dishwasher (which I am lucky to have in NYC!), scrubbing the microwave, cleaning out vents, and a bunch of other stuff. Unbelievable because no other service that I know of comes close to cleaning any of these things. I checked to see if Jess really followed the whole list and I was NOT disappointed. She changed my bedsheets (evidenced by the freshly laundered smell of the new sheets), scrubbed my whole kitchen clean (again, evidenced by the fresh smell), and cleaned the rails on my window AC unit. This is definitely the most detailed and comprehensive clean my place has ever gotten! A++

You hear so many shady stories of online companies treating their contractors poorly. I think most people who are in a position to hire someone to clean their home are also in a position to support fair labor practices. I am proud to use my funds to support MyClean because MyClean hires its professionals as employees and does not engage in the questionable treatment of contractors like other online companies, including other online CLEANING companies, do. Moreover, the quality of the cleaning itself always ranges from very good to excellent. What differentiates very good from excellent in my book is speed. Some ladies manage to finish a little faster than others. I like that because it allows me to move on to my next thing. However, every cleaning professional has finished her cleaning within the allotted time that I have booked her for, so I have no complaints.

So my ninety year old Grandmother moved to NYC from Boston and rented a two bedroom Condo on Central Park South in a beautiful pre-war building. She signed a lease and was excited to be closer to her family. But when we checked out the apartment a few days before her scheduled move-in date, we found the place a total mess. It looked like no one had cleaned the place. We thought that the owner would provide the apartment in better condition. We contacted the owner, who lives abroad, and he didn't want to be bothered. So I did the next best thing. I googled cleaning services in NYC and picked the one with the best reviews. I scheduled on-line for an immediate clean. They did an amazing job and my grandmother moved-in to a spotless apartment. We didn't even tell her about the prior mess because we didn't want to stress her out. Nothing is easy in New York City, except for MyClean!

We've used MyClean multiple times, and every time have had a great experience. The first thing that stands out is the convenience factor. We ask them to come at a certain time, usually when my wife and I are out of the apartment, and feel completely comfortable leaving the key with the doorman. They have even done us the favor of bringing up and dry cleaning and/or packages for us. The cleans have always been good, and have taken the burden off of my wife and I, at a reasonable price. The cleaners also leave a nice note for us, letting us know if there were any issues. Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend MyClean to anyone living in the city.

I have been alive long enough to remember when customer service was a real thing. It used to be professional and made you feel like a valued customer instead of just another pawn in the corporate machine. Now, almost wherever you go or whomever you call, you get treated as if your business is not important. Employees often look like they do not want to be where they are, and the whole experience as a consumer leaves me feeling frustrated. Well, customer service and satisfaction are back with MyClean! The first thing that struck me about Tracy was how professional she was. From the moment she said hello, she looked present and ready for her job. And a good job she did, too. She followed MyClean’s 50-point checklist and cleaned a number of things in my home that I did not know cleaning services cleaned. Maybe they do not, in fact, but MyClean does. So far, I have only used MyClean once, but I am getting ready to book a second cleaning with Tracy.

Update: 7/23/19. After the poor customer service I received on 7/19/19, the CEO, Michael reached out to me. He apologized profusely, for the disrespect that I received and gave me a full refund. I have decided to change my star rating from 1 to 3. However, my feelings on the COO have not changed. My cleaner Joann, was great and I would hire her again! She really did clean our apartment well, and took the job very seriously. She gets 5 stars! Michael as well, gets top stars for reaching out to me and making the situation better, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. I told Michael, that I will not change my review when it comes to Kenny (COO). He's arrogant, disrespectful, and a raging bully! As a first time customer with MyClean, you'd think he'd be all about customer service, he has no clue what that means. I'm glad I kept the appointment. My apartment needed to be cleaned asap, and Joann did such a nice job. If I book again with MyClean, and have a better experience, I will update my star rating.

I used Myclean in New York when I had family stay in a friend’s place for a wedding (wanted to return their place to them clean!). Wedding went great. So did the cleaning. So when I was in DC in a similar circumstance (stayed at a friend’s for 3 days for work), I wanted to give them a clean as a thank you. Honestly, I didn’t even know Myclean was in DC. When I did my yelp search, I saw other companies with lots of reviews (DC Maids, for example), and Myclean! Rather than risk a new company, I went with MyClean. Same great website. Same great checklist. Same great customer service. Good call by me!

I have to admit, I didn't know that using a "professional" cleaning company (instead of "someone my aunt uses") could make such a difference. Booked online, took advantage of the Yelp discount ($25 is nice), chose the day and time that worked for me. Cleaner Keneva showed up 10 minutes early, so I wasn't late to work. After the shutdown, my inbox is surely full. Came home to a hotel-feeling apartment. Clean, straight, checklist with a nice message. Definitely worth a try.

In 2015 my team and I were fed up with our old office cleaning company. While their rates were fair, they did not clean on a daily basis. My users were constantly complaining about the lack of upkeep of the restrooms and their stations. The old cleaning company was also billing/sending us ridiculous amount of supplies and always looking for ways to charge bigger cleaning projects (for example, deep clean carpeting in all of our conference rooms that was unnecessary). After years of babysitting and out of pocket costs, I gave MyClean a shot and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made as VP of Facilities. MyClean actually cleans. I rarely get complaints since we switched. As a matter of fact, I still get compliments on how courteous and sweet the MyClean staff are to my fellow employees. Michael Scharf, the CEO and the site manager, Ed are very responsive. Here are some examples: 1) In the beginning, users were noticing their personal cups missing. a. After investigating the issue, it turns out that MyClean was doing too good of job cleaning after my users by taking their dirty coffee mugs to all the dishwashers throughout the company. Nothing was missing, just misplaced. b. Decided to only clean cups/dishes at the kitchen area and had my users be responsible for their own wares. 2) We had all of our long fluorescent ceiling light fixtures throughout 6 floors of space cleaned. a. Have not been cleaned once since we entered in our building (~7 years). b. Had an issue on the executive floor where my users noticed dust/debris. c. Emailed Mike and Ed. Mike responded 5 minutes later and got his crew to deep clean the entire floor that night. Although their prices seemed high and changing cleaning companies is always a delicate manner, my only regret with my decision to go with MyClean is that I should have done it sooner.

I emailed MyClean to let them know I was not happy and they emailed me back within an hour letting me know about their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Basically, if you are unhappy and tell them within 48 hours they will offer a re-clean free of charge. I took them up on their offer and now my place looks great. I would highly recommend MyClean. I heard about them from a friend who uses their cleaning services and checked them out on Yelp (great reviews). I needed a maid service to do a good once-over on my apartment. Ever since I moved into my apartment almost 6 months ago I have not been able to really get it clean. My roommate had a dog who shed a ton stay with us for a few months and the hair still seems to be everywhere! MyClean came yesterday and they did not disappoint. The online process made it super easy. Within a few minutes I booked a Get It Clean for the next day. The cleaner was on time, very professional and and did an awesome job. Everything from the fridge to the bathtub was scrubbed down. My windows and shelves dusted from top to bottom, even the hard to reach places like under my bed were cleaned. I felt like I walked into a cleaner apartment than I moved into! I will absolutely recommend MyCleans maid service to friends looking for a reliable cleaning company that knows what they are doing. I have been working with MyClean for years. My cleaner Yvonne comes every Wednesday and she is a huge help for me and my family. She has a great "can do" attitude and I am comfortable having her in my home. In the seven years I have been working with MyClean she is the best cleaner I have found but others were good too. When she is not available MyClean emails me offering me the option of a difference person. I like to have my home cleaned once per week and so I always choose the sub. Overall I would say their cleaners are good, although no one is Yvonne :)

Horrible experience. Was asked to be interviewed. Come in sharp, early, with paperwork. I arrived to an office that stank, and was told to schedule the interview to their e-mail. Which was done!! But still that's the process, not only that you had to go back outside to do so because their internet has bad service. I just walked out. Dealing with myclean customer service was incredible! They're very responsive in Fair. I wasn't fully happy with my first deep cleaning so the next day they sent someone over to reclean free of charge. On the other hand myclean seems more of a company that would be great for a house or an apartment that's already set up and doesn't require as an intensive clean. I will absolutely use them for minor cleanings. But if you're looking to get a real deep clean done vacuuming, closet cleaning, floor steaming and cabinet cleaning I would try somewhere else.

I am proud to use my funds to support MyClean because MyClean hires its professionals as employees and does not engage in the questionable treatment of contractors like other online companies, including other online CLEANING companies, do. Moreover, the quality of the cleaning itself always ranges from very good to excellent. What differentiates very good from excellent in my book is speed. Some ladies manage to finish a little faster than others. I like that because it allows me to move on to my next thing. However, every cleaning professional has finished her cleaning within the allotted time that I have booked her for, so I have no complaints.

My schedule varies, so it’s hard to schedule the same MyCleaner every time. But I’ve worked with the same 3 or 4 over the past couple years, and they’ve all done an excellent job. My favorite cleaner is Latasha, just because she’s a super enthusiastic type of person, but that is not to say that the other ladies are not. Like I said, an excellent job every time. The nice thing about a service like MyClean is that it stands by its work and offers someone like me the flexibility I need to manage my home on my crazy schedule.

I became very busy over the last few months and completely neglected cleaning my apartment. With a toddler at home the messes became overwhelming so I decided to try MyClean after reading some really great reviews! The booking process was super easy and convenient and Mariah did an amazing job! She was very thorough and careful and did not make the experience awkward at all. Although pricing was a bit expensive, Mariah really went above and beyond for me and really catered to my son's toys and play area sanitizing it all. Would definitely use them again!

I have used MyClean sporadically throughout the years. My most recent cleaning with Cachet was the best I have ever received and prompted me to write this review. I also emailed MyClean to let them know how amazing she is; they were very appreciative. In the past I have had a few minor issues with MyClean cleaners and their team has always gone above and beyond to make it right. Overall my experiences have been really good though and Cachet really was the best of the best. I will definitely continue using them MyClean is good about reaching out to ask if I want a subscription with whichever cleaner I mention in the survey they have me fill out after the clean. Highly recommend!

I have been alive long enough to remember when customer service was a real thing. It used to be professional and made you feel like a valued customer instead of just another pawn in the corporate machine. Now, almost wherever you go or whomever you call, you get treated as if your business is not important. Employees often look like they do not want to be where they are, and the whole experience as a consumer leaves me feeling frustrated. Well, customer service and satisfaction are back with MyClean! The first thing that struck me about Tracy was how professional she was. From the moment she said hello, she looked present and ready for her job. And a good job she did, too. She followed MyClean’s 50-point checklist and cleaned a number of things in my home that I did not know cleaning services cleaned. Maybe they do not, in fact, but MyClean does. So far, I have only used MyClean once, but I am getting ready to book a second cleaning with Tracy.

MyClean can be a great service. Their website is very user friendly and they are very reliable in terms of showing up. The services, however, are not reliable. I have intermittently good cleaners, but then other cleaners are not detail oriented and I have to re-sweep my apartment or re-wipe the surfaces. I have come home to hair still being piled in the bathroom or debris still behind the toilet or crumbs under the toaster despite the fact that I point out that I pay close attention to the floors and surfaces. Many times the cleaners are no longer with the company which makes it very difficult to know what type of cleaning I'm going to get. In sum, when they send good cleaners, their results are above average. But there are many hit and misses which make paying $80 for a weekly session not worth it. If I think I might have to clean my apartment afterwards, I'll book with a cheaper company to save money. They have always refunded the services when I'm not happy, but I would rather just always get a consistent clean and pay a little more.

I take care of my apartment as best I can, but it's not always easy to get into every surface and nook/cranny and to keep it as spotless as I would like. In comes MyClean... and does an excellent job for me. Absolutely worth the money for a 3 hour cleaning to get everything spick and span.

My MyClean cleaning lady is a motherly type, which is very sweet and comforting. On the first day I booked a cleaning service, she instantly recognized that I live like a bachelor. “I help you,” she said. She did such a fantastic job that first time, really above and beyond what I expect any person, even a professional, to do for someone. Now, she's been coming over every other week for the last six months and we chat before each time she cleans. She likes to make sure I am doing OK. And boy does she clean well! She makes me feel very cared for while she makes my place look amazing.

Ivette was very thorough and did a great job on my apartment. She is very nice and energetic and clearly takes a lot of pride in what she does. She made it clear that customer satisfaction is very important to her and worked very hard to make sure my apartment was sparkling. The kitchen was the most impressive, as it was as good as new. They organize your room and really tidy your place up. So Michael the CEO of MyClean contacted me and offered a free re-clean. 3rd time's the charm right? Beatrice was amazing. Not only was she proactive with making sure that everything in the apartment was tidy and clean; she was super friendly and even played a little with my toddler. I would recommend sticking with Beatrice. She seems incredibly popular though, with a lot of regulars. It's nice that the company takes its customers' feedback seriously, this is probably one of the few things that set it apart from other cleaning companies.

My buddy in NYC told me cleaning service he uses was expanding to DC. I was able to book online. It was easy and intuitive. Got an email confirming my clean. It was so easy that I was a little nervous how the cleaning would be. Paranoia misplaced! Friendly cleaner who made the place spotless. Amber, the Head of Operations in DC, followed up to see how things went and whether I would be interesting in recurring appointments with that cleaner. I am debating about a once every for week clean.

Will update again once issue is resolved. ---- normally don't leave negative reviews but this one really is unacceptable. tiny, empty studio that needed cleaning. ordered standard clean expecting an easy job for them. apparently wasted $145+tax for nothing. toilet not the slightest cleaned, apartment still dusty everywhere. not sure what the cleaner even worked on. reflected to company, pretty much got a "sorry can't help you" response even though toilet is a part of the standard clean.

I have a regular cleaning lady but I use MyClean from time to time for my apartment when I'm in a pinch. Booking through their website is pretty easy and I like knowing that the cleaners are bonded and insured; since I am essentially letting a stranger into my home...I have used them a handful of times now and I have always been happy. This most recent clean wasn't without a few bumps, but I emailed their customer service and they were quick to make it right for me. Overall I would say that this is a good service and (perhaps more importantly) their customer service is exceptional.

I really enjoyed the clean that was done by MyClean and a lot of the cleaners are very kind and enjoy being around my animals. My issue, and why I am giving 2 stars, is because the site is absolutely broken. I log in once, and the next time I log in it doesn't remember my email and says it doesn't exist. So i have to keep resetting my password every single time I wish to log on. I have reported this to customer service and all they did was send me a password reset link... they still haven't fixed the problem and it's been 3 months now. I enjoy the cleaners and how nice my apartment is but the customer service and the site is so awful that i'd rather find a different cleaning service.

I’m forced to use cleaning services because I’m home just enough to sleep and (sometimes) eat, but that’s about it. I used a couple before I heard of MyClean and had pretty mixed results. But having used MyClean 5 times already, I have been either happy or extremely happy with how they work. I had the same cleaner the first 3 times and had a different one the next two because of scheduling reasons (mine not theirs). Each time has left my place immaculate, and MyClean is great for its scheduling flexibility. I am signed up for every two weeks now.
