I have used merry maids since October 5th 2018. They have been to my home a total of four times.
I dealt with the manager Leno Jones. At first I was very very pleased. She was nice professional and price was reasonable. As my home is a 3 level home. First time I had 3 girls come. On time between 9-9:30 am. Everything went smoothly as first time was a deep cleaning.
Second time. The girls were late, came about 10am. When I ask for 9ami don’t expect 10 am, but ok, things happen traffic etc. second time around I noticed things weren’t moved or touched. I brought it up to Lenimt concerns. Ok, the third time everything I was concerned about was corrected and done as I wanted. But also on that third time one of the girls who cleaned two out of the three bathrooms the tub was not washed and nothing in the bathroom was moved on the counter. The walls weren’t washed which are tiles, and part of the bathroom! Again I addressed it to Leni. Now on the fourth return only ONE girl came to clean out 3 girls that I usually have. I was very upset with this because it’s to much to do 3 floors with only one girl! And actually not fair to her. Thank goodness this one girl Nicole is the BEST worker that I have had from merry maids. She’s awesome, professional, accurate, proficient and very thorough. I recommend her highly!
One of My problems I have with the way they are taught is that if you have shelves with let’s say knock knacks, dolls, perfumes, etc... they do not move them at all. They go around it and just dust what they see. For this, I can do that myself. Nothing is moved. Not even the couch or the area rug. Where the tile underneath which is part of the floor has to be mopped. So again, for that, I can do it myself. Steps in the hallway were not thoroughly cleaned. As the main hallway has a lot of traffic and really needs to be cleaned scrubbed or mopped correctly! No. Just a quick mop. I wasn’t happy.
The last thing that got to me after just sending me one girl to do the whole house which she was here from 9:00 am until 4pm a long day big house for one person. I spoke to leni about it, and according to her it was ok she did it solo. I actually felt bad for her, but she did it and didn’t complain. Again. She is the BEST WORKER. I had a feeling after I spoke to Leni that she was adding extra things that were already discussed when they first began working for me. So the next day, I called my credit card company and was charged three times! Three different amounts! Which totaled to over $600! I called Leni very upset about this and she claimed my card was declined and the computer automatically re tries to take partial payment. Which this doesn’t make any sense. Because how does a computer automatically know how much to enter in three different amounts that don’t even equal to the original amount quoted! It actually came out to more! I called her upset and told her this isn’t right! It doesn’t even make sense!
So this was my last cleaning with them. To me your not being honest, your trying to take advantage and they try to make up things to make it right. No, I run a business myself, and you don’t treat customers that way. You don’t lie, you don’t try to trick people or go around things in a different way.
I’m sorry it ended this way, but I had to end dealing with this company as of today! And no I do not recommend you to call them.
Everything is also extra... for example a stove or a fridge etc.
I’ve had a cleaning crew before and never did I get charged for anything extra! Because I didn’t always ask to do something different all the time. No, I don’t like the way this company is ran. It’s always a different story every time. And again, I run my own business. So I understand these things. You don’t try to pull the wool over customers eyes. And think they won’t notice things like being overcharged double charged or adding extra things to fool people. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing.
