This truly is a wonderful company. Before I moved out of my home I was renting the upstairs apartment to a woman, her teenage daughter, their cat, and their dog. This woman was a COMPLETE and utter SLOB like I couldn't believe. I figured she was messy, but she was actually living in filth. The cat litter looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days and was seaping into the tile floor. The refrigerator was full and she actually left it unplugged so the ice cream completely melted all of the freezer and dripped down into the fridge. There was stuck on grease in the stove because it had never been cleaned before and the same with the ceiling fan- the DIRT that was hanging from it was unbelievable. This woman had lived up there for 4 years- 4 YEARS and never ONCE cleaned. Holy cow did I ever need some reliable and professional house cleaning services but at an affordable rate. Maid First was unbelievable. I walked in to what felt like a brand new apartment. There was no dirt on anything, the apartment smelled so fresh, the refrigerator was cleaned top to bottom. The bathroom which was also an awful mess was sparkling because the cleaner went above and beyond and cleaned the grime out of the bottom of the tub. She also cleaned inside the mirror and all of the drawers. I was amazed. Worth literally every penny. They made this moving process so much easier on me because it was one less thing that I really had to worry about- and this was a big deal of my stress when I was moving because of the condition of this apartment- I could have never sold it the way it was looking before I had it cleaned. Maid First thank you SO much for your house cleaning services. You have made me one happy customer, and my fiance too.

I had a really bad experience but the company ended up waiving the charge to make amends. The lady who came to my house broke my toilet and I had to pay someone to fix it. She flushed plastic pieces down my toilet then acted as if it was normal to do so. She also did not clean very well. She left with my floor is dirtier than it was before. When I arrived back to my apartment early she was sitting on the group using my charger from another room playing on her phone. I really don't know if she cleaned much. Again, the company waived the cost but that I'm concerned why that happened in the first place.

I recently used this company's cleaning service as I urgently needed my apartment to be cleaned after the previous guests that had rented out the place left without properly cleaning up after themselves. The customer service representatives were extremely polite and quick in setting up a maid service for my place. The maid was very thorough in the cleaning process, always making sure I was satisfied and going over any spots she thought she skimmed over. She was very quick yet thorough and hardworking. This cleaning service is great for a crash pad. When you have more traffic than normal a housekeeping service is a necessity. If you don't know what a crash pad is think dorms for adults and yes even as adults they get just as bad as real dorms.

Unfortunately I barely have time to clean my 2nd home , you helped me out a lot. I normally don't use maid services / cleaning services . On a normal day I would make my boyfriend deep clean but it's our vacation time so we have no time. I can be a germophobic at times so trusting someone to clean it thoroughly was my main concern . Hired Maid First to clean a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with tall windows and hardwood floors in Lowet Manhatten. We cleared tons of junk from the apartment and there was dust and hair from everything we pulled out and put in storage. The apartment needed to be cleaned and decluttered for staging and this cleaning service was fantastic. It was the cost of dinner for a couple - more reasonable than I thought. We didnt have time to get this all done before traveling. They got all the windows, the corners of the frames, between faucets, dusted and all of our stairways and even better - they are available to help clean the apartment after we sell and move or regularly until it sells.

I should have read yelp's warning about their fake reviews -- as this might be the only authentic review for these charlatans. The staff who barely speaks english is already the norm, but personnel who leaves the apartment in a condition worse than it was in -- is unacceptable. Utterly disgusting to find garbage stuffed behind the couch (that was not there prior to), or to find soap spills all around the floor. When I brought this to the manager's attention -- zero response. I asked for a refund -- nothing. I asked for a re-do -- nothing. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! THIS COMPANY IS A PLAGUE! NO WONDER ALL THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!!

These guys are LIARS. A few weeks ago, I scheduled my regular cleaning. I specifically asked not to send one woman, who was very nice but did not do the job I asked for before. So, they sent her anyway, and did not tell me - which made for a very awkward situation when she came and asked me why I didn't like her. I emailed them, and said, you know, this is bad customer service. They replied, "oh, we'll give you two free cleanings." Whenever I tried to schedule the cleanings, crickets. Finally I scheduled one online for today (8-10 am). After I emailed them to double check that they are not charging me, they promptly canceled my appointment WITHOUT telling me, and said "go somewhere else, we're not honoring the 2 free cleanings because obviously you are not going to use our service again." Well, I was planning on using their service again until they basically lied and said there was no availability last week (there was, I checked online), did not respond back, and then decided it was not worth their time because I won't be a repeat customer.

I was at my friends place when this cleaning company showed up. Apparently my friend hires them for a weekly cleaning to keep his appointment clean. I was very impressed with the service they provided at his house so after they were done I talked to one of the cleaning ladies and asked her to give me the number off their office. I first encountered these cleaning services when I went to visit my Auntie a few months back. I am not too familiar with other ones and what they offer but I know a hustle from a legit business when I see them. Maid First is not out solely to earn your money but really to obtain your respect. The customer service is phenomenal it is like they go out of their way to assist the customer with all their needs. My Auntie's place is average size so apartment cleaning is a must when she spends most of her time at work. When the crew arrived I was doing my own thing in one of the many bedrooms undisturbed, literally, I could hardly hear the vacuum going on in the hallway. I gave them five stars because it is rare now-a-days to find good help that appreciates their clientele the way Maid First does. That alone makes a world a difference when dealing with a company like theirs, very pleased with the actual techniques that were used too, the deep cleaning was fantastic. I have never had a professional cleaner to come and clean my home before. I actually wondered why people would pay to clean their home... I get that many people have more than full schedule, but still... After getting the thorough cleaning from Maid First, I now understand the value of the cleaning service. I had 3 hours of cleaning scheduled, and I mainly wanted the bathroom and kitchen cleaned more than any other space. I didn't know what to expect, but I was excited about the cleaning service. The young female arrived about 15 minutes later than the 2-hour window of arrival due to subway delays, but she did stay and cleaned the entire 3 hours and plus. I didn't have a tight schedule on this day, so the delay was not that much of a big deal. But, I would've liked them to notify me of the delay. I was working in my home office during the cleaning, and I could hear her cleaning (quietly) the entire 3 hours, I didn't hear her taking any break at all. Before she finished up, she asked me to come and check the rooms and let her know if I wanted her to clean anything else. The apartment was very, VERY clean! Everything was shiny, you could see and touch the cleanliness of the room. Especially the dusting was phenomenal. I have a wine bar cabinet that was noticeably dusty against dark wood color. It had no dust after she was finished! She also cleaned inside and out of the microwave to sparkling clean. She even cleaned my kettle that was on the oven! She did great job cleaning bathroom and kitchen, and then moved onto the other rooms, dusting, wiping, mopping, etc., etc... She cleaned the whole apartment! I don't know how many times I said "wow" looking and touching all the sparking surfaces... She was lovely and polite, although English was not her first language, we didn't have much problem communicating. I provided with the Swiffer, duster, and toilet brush, and she brought everything else that she needs to clean with her. Whatever she needed, like a broom, she came and asked me. It was a very pleasant experience, and I totally enjoyed my super clean apartment! Thank you!

I had came across this company while search for a moving company. They had a few flaws like any other company but for the most part they were pretty ok. I will add that maybe you should brush up on some your customer service a bit. As for the move they managed to not break anything so that's a win win. So I decided on some professionals. I called Maid First. The prices quoted were reasonable for house cleaning.(Or should I say Apartment cleaning!) My housecleaning is pretty bad but the 2 women who came over were not surprised or put off. They did a good job. Actually, they did a great job. I don't know if I can ask for the same 2 people but if they are any indication of the quality of all their workers then I should be fine when I have them do it all over again next month! My laziness (when it comes to housecleaning!) is definitely their gain!
