The service is horrible. I was told one price and when I received my email confirmation, the price was higher than what I was told. I was given a credit for the error. I made an appointment for noon and in the e-mail confirmation, the appointment was made for 9:00am. They were able to adjust the time to the correct time. My appointment was made for a Friday when I called to fix the two errors that was made I was then notified that on Fridays there is an extra fee due to two maids are used on Thursdays and Fridays. After receiving a credit for that issue, my date and time arrived and the cleaning service never showed. I called to find out the status for their arrival and could not get an answer. I finally received a call back after waiting 3 hours past my schedules appointment which was noon. I was told they were behind schedule and could they change my appointment to Sunday. They offered me a 30 dollar discount and I agreed. Sunday came and my appointment was scheduled for 10am and they never showed. I called to find out the status of their arrival and the office is open but the number provided on the website states the number dialed is after office hours. I have no way to contact the company. They are very unprofessional and I never received a phone call from the company in regards to my appointment. The cleaning was supposed to be a birthday present for my mother who lives 45 minutes from me and because I used my credit card for the payment, I had to drive both Friday and Sunday to her house just for the cleaning service not to show up or call on both occasions. I would never recommend this service to anyone. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. On a scale of 1 to 10 i give this company a negative 10.

Very happy with their service! They come on time, bring all supplies, and are very trustworthy. I have complete confidence in their work and safety since it's always the same couple that comes in. They have always followed all my instructions, and the communication with the manager is very easy and efficient. Also, I like the option of being able to book online, pay with a credit card and don’t have to worry about any cash issues. Planning to keep them for a long time.

Found this company by a family friend and saw some google reviews which had good reviews so I decided to book and try them out. Definitely worth every dollar spent. Would recommend and use them on a regular. The couple that came were very nice and pleasant to have around (older couple) and the cleaning was impressive as well.

He even gave me a pretty nice estimate and agreed to do it the next day. The crew, they sent was on time and started cleaning our house. When the crew left, I was really surprised because our house was really clean and smells good. Definitely using them again!

Long Island Maids Cleaning Services IS the best cleaning service I've ever used! They were very efficient and left my house brand new. I was so surprised with them, mostly because the last two places I've used weren't as good so I wasn't expecting much when I called up Long Island Maids. but they proved me wrong! I just wanted a simple cleaning done (kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, fridge and oven) and other companies were just giving me ridiculous prices. After a few in-home quotes, I came upon this cleaning service and found the prices to be the most reasonable. My cleaners, Nicole & Matt (husband and wife team!) were really great. They were very punctual, accommodating, and asked questions which I truly liked. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because Long Island Maids delayed my cleaning by a few days due to over booking. All said and done, it was a pleasure to work with them and will use them again on an as needed basis.

These people are terrible! Their cleaning and service is the worst! 99% of all 5 star reviews are fake! Don't be tricked by their reviews. Click on several profiles with over 3 reviews and you will notice that they are all constantly reviewing the same place even if they are located in different cities, states or country. Impossible! FAKE REVIEWS! They should be banned from google for misleading the public!

Been using this company for almost two years now for a rental property out east. Everything about them is truly remarkable. The first time they came, they were about an hour late without notifying us. However, Shannon apologized about this and offered us a nice little discount which was fair. I found out about Long Island Maids through a mutual friend of mine who highly recommend me to use them. I figured why not. These guys are obviously different then everyone else from the moment you go to their website! I did my booking online, no quote or someone coming over needed! Price is show on the spot and everything is done with credit card, so I didn't have to worry about leaving any cash (left a tip though). I had Ana mad Maria come and they were extremely nice and very polite and very respectful of my home. Overall, they did a fantastic cleaning job! Will highly recommend this company if looking for a cleaning service.

Most certainly the best cleaning company as of yet, it's nice to know they are not some franchise either, so supporting local business is great! In regards to the cleaning, everything was done perfectly, however the lady forgot to do the oven which I paid for, but was refunded back. They did offer to come back as well, which was nice of them.

I have ordered move-in cleaning. It was not good at all. This is very below expectations for what you charged. I asked for a deep cleaning for kitchen and toilet. Only wipes were used most of the timet a cordingcto my observation. Toiley and sink were left with visible stains. I do not have issues with the person, who did the cleaning, as this is management's responsibility to properly equip their staff for such duties and not send them with just cleaning wipes. And as I see my experience is rare, and most of your users are happy with the services, however for me it did not work well.

I have a large home and the last company I hired didn't stand up to their promise. I'm not sure if the house was just too big or what. Either way, This company was recommend to me by a friend of mine. I did explain to them that the house was very big, and they told me they will send over a team of 4. The time came and only 3 people came. Nonetheless, the 3 ladies did do a fantastic job, they stayed for over 7 hours! Team did an outstanding job.

Only reason I give 4 stars is due to the lateness, in such, they did call and let me know, however, I had to push all my other appointments back. Other than that, fantastic work by the two ladies!

Just brought a new house on Long Island and too be honest, I have been terrified on hiring a cleaning company to do a move in cleaning for us as we have had bad experience once before. Fortunately, this didn't happen with Long Island Maids. They did a full detailed cleaning except they forgot to do the inside of the fridge which they might have just forgotten about. They did give me a partial refund for fridge cleaning which was nice, but still slightly annoying as I had to do the fridge. Overall, fantastic job none .

The service was scheduled for one hour and 45 minutes and the crew was "done" after 45 minutes. We had to point out all the items that weren't cleaned at all or done poorly. Streaks on mirrors, dust underneath the kitchen table, dust on top of refrigerator etc etc. Cleaning crew reluctantly cleaned some, but when we continued to point out areas that were not done the remarks from the cleaning crew in their native language were not appreciated. I guess they figured I didn't understand what they were saying. For what was charged, this was a rip off.

We were visiting some family members in Manhattan in the Upper east side for a few days and as a thank you to them, I wanted to give them a parting gift from us. I booked the cleaning online and was able to have a team come the next day. I unfortunately wasn't able to stay, however, My aunt told me they did a great job. This is actually the first time they ever had anyone clean their home!

I booked this company for three general house cleanings as a gift to my sibling, who had just had a baby. During the first cleaning, they didn't mop (which is part of what they specify for a general cleaning). I brought this up when booking the second cleaning and asked for a discount based on the missing service from the first one. No one ever got back to me---not via phone, email, anything. The third cleaning was cancelled on the MORNING OF scheduled service and then rescheduled for a different time slot on a different day WITHOUT my permission. I sent an email responding to this and asking someone to get back to me about it. No answer. I rebooked for two days later at the correct time (again, I'm scheduling around a newborn and her sleep habits) and they didn't show up. I called customer service, which they outsource to remote workers who they haven't trained, so the person on the phone has no power to give you a refund or even any answers about what's going on with the cleaning crew. It's a joke, and now I'm out $273 unless someone gets back to me ASAP. I'll most likely file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but in the meantime I wanted to let folks know---do not book this company unless you're looking to lose roughly $300. EDIT: The owner has posted a response below saying that I was issued a refund for $273. I have not received any record of this, nor have I received a refund. Further, this is the first response I've gotten from the owner regarding this situation and it's on GOOGLE MAPS, not my personal email, not via a phone call, and not in response to my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Honestly, they could not be doing a worse job.

Our housekeepers, are ALWAYS on time if not a bit early and always wear shoe protectors that keep our carpets clean. One of my good friends recommended long island maids to me as she was very pleased with their service.I must say, they exceeded my expectations in regards to the service it self and ease of communication and reminders of cleaning service.
