needed a full clean prior to moving into my new apartment in Brooklyn. My 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex was just filthy prior to moving in - dust and dead bugs everywhere from a long vacancy. It was too much work to do alone and would have taken days to clean properly. Great Green Cleaning gave me a very reasonable estimate of time and price - and I actually ended up paying a little less than I expected to because the cleaner worked so efficiently. The office staff were incredibly helpful and very accessible (always answered my calls and responded promptly to my emails). The cleaner, Diane, was lovely and incredibly efficient. She did a wonderful job. The apartment looked beautiful and even smelled clean! I am so relieved Great Green Cleaning came to clean my apartment prior to moving in. I will definitely be using them in the future...

I had to clean after they left. I was told that moving furniture would not be a problem but was sent a housekeeper with bad knees, who called the office to complain. The housekeepers brought Popeye's chicken and ate it during their shift. I found chicken crumbs on the kitchen counter! What is so great and green about that? When I called to complain, the customer service rep only offered excuses for the housekeepers. They did not discount my service, only gave me a credit for the next cleaning. There will be no next time! HOUSEKEEPING MADE COMPLICATED AND OVERPRICED Update: Since this review I have had 3 different company reps call me to make excuses about the service. They offered "credit" on my account for the next cleaning. What account? That's a clever way to keep my money. I finally decided to take them up on this "credit". I had a vacant apartment that had recently been painted in preparation for an incoming tenant. I called to make the appointment and was told that vacant/newly painted apartments have a different rate that would not apply to my credit. Done!

I really enjoyed my experience with Great Green Cleaning. It was given to me as a gift. The office staff making my appointment was wonderful. The owner, Cindy, taught me how these things work-what tasks they can do and about how much time different tasks take. I'm a bit inexperienced with these things and it was confusing for me the last time I had someone clean my house. Having those questions answered really made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. She also helped me choose someone to come to my home who matched my preferences and priorities. It was important to me that I felt comfortable with the person so I wouldn't feel embarrassed or stressed. It was great that the office also called before the start time to tell me in advance that she would be arriving a bit late because the train service by my home was shut down. The woman who came, Qhadijah, was kind and friendly and competent and good with my daughter. Everything she cleaned was done well and I liked the way she asked if there was anything she missed. She was very cooperative and open to anything I asked for. She put me at ease and made it an enjoyable experience. I would use her again and I recommend this service to anyone who needs cleaning or housekeeping or anything else and I intend to recommend to any friends or family who are looking for a great experience with reliable service.

SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I hired Great Green Cleaning after being sorely disappointed by several other cleaning companies--so disappointed, in fact, that I hadn't had one come in for years. Great Green absolutely rocked it out. They cleaned my house thoroughly and with very little input from me--and our cleaner, Caroline, did it with a smile and a kind word for both me and my three-year-old daughter. Love them and can't wait to have them back in! I'll be calling them much more frequently, especially since we're expecting a new little one!

great reviews on line . Found them to be Prompt and courteous.Had a vacant condo and needed cleaning for a new tenant (had no cleaning supplies available.) They provided them (at a charge of course) but explained they do not use equipment from other places in order not to cross contaminate. (Appreciated that.)Dealt with Geena and had a call that due to the marathon there was a delay for their arrival (which was much appreciated). Had the real estate agent go in afterwards to report on the condition and he said it all looked terrific.. so based on his report and my phone calls with them, I would recommend. Very professional

I bought a house which was a known fixer-upper ... but one never knows just how much of a fixer-upper such a house is. It's a small house and so every square foot of cleanliness was cherished since I had to live in it during the renovation phase. The entire house was under construction for three months. I had Great Green come in during the construction once a week to keep my personal space livable. Without them I would have had to spend *thousands* of dollars on hotels and would have been displaced from my home-office. Great Green's people were courteous, respectful, and worked around the various trades, and saw their work dirtied even moments after they cleaned. They didn't whine or complain, just kept cleaning to keep me sane. While it might seem strange to clean during the construction, they managed to keep the dirt and dust to a minimum. The post-construction cleanup was a blessing! I had my first business meeting at the house three days after construction was completed and a family party a week after that. Tops of doors, fan blades, moldings, even folding piles of clean clothes ... nothing was too much and I'm very grateful. What I liked best was that any time I had a request or noted something with which I was not satisfied they were more than willing to work with me toward resolution. For this alone (and doing so under difficult circumstances), I give them an A+.

The customer service was great and the professionals showed up on time ready to go. After I suggested that I was not happy with the floors, they did them again and so thoroughly they have never looked so good. I highly recommend Great Green Cleaning services. I was in search of a company that uses eco-friendly and non-toxic products. This company provided exactly what I was looking for. The cleaning job was incredibly thorough and all requests were followed perfectly. We were very happy and would recommend Kat and Great Green to everyone. They seemed very friendly and professional on the phone when I set up my cleaning appointment. I ended up having to cancel my appointment but they told me it was no problem and I would not be charged. A month later a charge from them for $315 appeared on my credit card. When I called back to ask them to reverse the charges, they were very polite and seemed concerned, and said the manager would need to get back to me. That was last week, and no one got back to me, I've called again three times, each time someone seemed very concerned and told me the manager would get back to me, but this has yet to happen. I will give them a few more days and then file a dispute. Very frustrating.

It was a month ago - As a first time client I would say this have been the worst cleaning service ever. Very rude staff and very expensive. I was yelled at for correcting the mistake and the cleaning was not 100 percent. Cleaning - Dust left everywhere , toilet bowl not cleaned properly and everything was absolutely horrible. For great reviews it don't show it that way . Price - very very expensive . For the price there should be great work. In reality I am not thrilled of the cleaning and this place lost a customer. I could find better cleaning services than great green cleaning.

WORST service ever. The apartment cleaning was overpriced and took way too long for the square footage of my apartment--it was clear the cleaner just wanted to stay longer so that I would get charged more. Moreover, she may have smoked in my apartment--it smelled horrible, like smoke, after she left. The cleaner also used ALL my paper towels (I had a lot!)--you apparently have to provide paper products (the mop I understand, but PAPER PRODUCTS??), and she left paper towels wadded up on my towel rack in my bathroom. It was disgusting. I contacted them about it, and they did NOTHING. STAY AWAY. I will never be using this service again.

I am very happy with Great Green Cleaning. I've used them three times now. Both the office staff and the cleaners are very professional and thorough. It's wonderful to feel that you can hand over the cleaning of your home to someone else - I've been hesitant to do that for a long time. I can be very specific about what I want done and the cleaners are very conscientious about listening. And they do a fabulous job - difficult tub stains disappeared, hard to get to areas get cleaned and I like that they use environmentally friendly products. And they follow up with you after the cleaning is finished. They truly care about their clients' experience. A pleasant experience all around!

Worsè company ever they are a joke. I don't know why ppl even bother to work or book with them they are very unethical no one is on there A game. Lie a lot have no work for you and pay dirt cheap. all they do is smoke cigarettes and order food. the staff attitude is very nasty on the phone talk to you anyway and they run a dog daycare out of the office how can you hear when a dog is always barking in the background while customers call so unethical. I will never recommend them for customers or employees they pay is dirt low and they charge $400 for a put together IKEA and Amazon kit and used cloths. how can they promote a so call Green cleaning company and have such a nasty smoking habitI wish I had not even wasted my time. they need a whole new staff no one dont know nothing and will lie a lot. best advice go work for another company I see why they can not keep no employees I heard and they are very messy. that is why I was not going to give my valuable time to them full time I saw how unorganized they was and no knowledge what to do if they will stay off the computer watching YouTube and get more training and some work done what a down grades place it is nothing like I expected it to be a bunch of lies. better yet get someone who knows the business wish I read all the negative reviews before I stepped foot in this place people please believe all the negative reviews they are true and some

Great Green Cleaning came to my rescue after I spilled nail polish all over my bathroom earlier this year. It was an overwhelming mess that got in between the floor tiles, on my bathtub and all over my cabinet, and I didn't know where to even start. I'm so thankful I found Great Green Cleaning - they were able to come in 24 hours and spent two hours diligently working to get it off of every surface. When we discovered that the nail polish remover would chip the paint on my cabinet, my specialist was considerate enough to ask me if I wanted to continue knowing this, which I appreciated. Overall, I was really impressed with Great Green Cleaning's work ethic, responsiveness and effectiveness, and I definitely plan to use them again for my cleaning needs!

Great Green Cleaning is by far the best cleaning service I have ever used. I have 5 Bedroom house in Brooklyn and these guys brought it back to life. Having 3 children in a large house makes it a but messy and you find things that you never though you would and hoped you never would. There were 2 maids that cleaned and also they used green cleaning products which is great b/c I have children and regular cleaning products can be extremely harmful to them. When they finished ( about 4hours) everything shined and you couldn't find a piece of dust in the place. I booked them last month and since then have signed up for a regular cleaning every month. Not only do these guys clean but they offer services that are beyond any maid service I ever used. I have 2 dogs, Nikki, and Max - they will walk daily and feed them when we can't make it home. Living in New York can be hard when both the husband and wife work but these guys have helped us so much and I have to say they are well worth the price.

We had a very disappointing experience with Great Green Cleaning. First, our oven was left on for several hours after the cleaners left our apartment (and it was never cleaned.) Next, our stovetop was inoperable when we returned home. We called an appliance company and paid $200 to fix the stovetop. Their report stated that large amounts of soapy water spilled into stovetop disabling the spark module. Great Green denied us reimbursement or credit. We do not recommend this company due to negligent actions and poor customer service.

I've used two other cleaning services in the past couple of years. I tried Great Green Cleaning for the first time earlier this week. The person who came by to clean my apartment did an excellent job in the 3 1/2 hours he was there. The floors were clean again, the carpet looked great and most of the dust was gone from the furniture. The previous company I used (can't remember their name) was pretty good also. But the person who cleaned my apartment was on her cellphone for an hour as she worked. No such problem with Great Green Cleaning. My only gripe is I wish they were a little less expensive. Four and A Half Stars. I highly recommend them.
