OMG So let me start by saying I contacted them back in March. I needed my carpet stretched because who ever did it prior to me moving in this apartment did a very poor job and I actually had waves all over my living room and the carpet was almost able to be lifted off completely. I sent pictures to Chem-Dry and they gave me a quote within a couple of hours. After the quote, I decided to get second opinion and my second opinion said I needed all new carpet and he would be unable to stretch the carpet. All new carpet would cost me over $2000 and I don't own this apartment so I was not tyring to invest all of that money. Finally, last month I decided apprehensively to contact Chem-Dry again. I was apprehensive because the carpet was coming up in so many areas I didn't think anyone would be able to fix it. The day came and I removed everything in the room except one big piece of furniture. Originally, they told me two guys would come but one guy came and he was a small slim man and honestly I thought the job would need two "The Rock" looking men to stretch out this carpet and I was already doubting he could get the job done. I asked him, "don't you need someone else to help you?" and he said no and explained all he needed was his knees and the Kicker (which is used to stretch the carpet). Within about an hour and a half this man made my living room look like a brand new piece of carpet. It was completely smoothened out. No waves and all the areas that were lifting were now tacked down securelyThe once cheap and tacky looking carpet was now transformed. I was and still am elated and can't believe how it looks. I literally went 3 years with my carpet like this before having it fixed. The gentleman that fixed my carpet and the owner of Chem-Dry were also super professional and nice. I would recommend them a hundred times and I don't usually write reviews unless I am super pleased which I am. Thank you Chem-Dry, now I can have company over again!!!

Well seemed to me like the carpet cleaners needed a bath themselves terrible odor when entering my home, I could not wait for them to leave... had to air out my house for an hour. Do not invite these people into your home or business.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! Worst service I have ever received. They lost my expensive rug and I had to go to small claims court where I received a judgment against them.

Amazing! This is my second time to use Chem-Dry of NYC and they are much better the second time around. Carlos came to clean the carpet and he did such a great job. Reyna was also good and on top of it. I accidentally called her late night but she called me back. She booked the appointment right away! I'll definitely will use them again. Thank you!

Charles is a pleasure to deal with. He is accommodating and professional. The technician came on time. He too was pleasant, accommodating and did a great job. The carpeting in my home is in a high traffic area. Love the results. It looks great.
