Went in for some wall anchors, the guy inside was extremely helpful and patient, even going as far as making multiple tripa to the back so he could show us different options that were available. Awesome employee and experience.

Unbelievably poor customer service. The tall skinny guy with dark hair and glasses had no idea how to run the system and didn't even know what he was looking for, even though I had told him multiple times exactly what I wanted: a small tri wing screwdriver. After 10 minutes of him slowly clicking and typing even slower, he goes to the back and gets me the exact opposite of what I asked for: a giant phillips head screwdriver. After another 15 minutes he finally called over his superior who did the same thing, just searching the same thing over and over and telling me they didn't have any of what I wanted (I was looking at the screen, it did say they had some in stock, but they didn't ever go back again to actually do their job and look). That took another 20 minutes, and I finally had them cancel my order (why they charged me before showing me the product I have no idea) and I told them I would be taking my business elsewhere. Just horrendous.

We purchased 2 parts to the total of only about $80. They were never used or installed, well as life goes we've been busy and about 2 months later we finally get back to return them. All I got from the clerk was policy is 30 days for cash buyer, policy policy policy. Like a robotic response. I even called the number and asked to speak to the manager and they refused to connect me. Why buy from a business that shows no common sense of customer service.

Price on the website was one thing. When I called and had a quote sent to me, the price was jacked up. I called Grainger back and they gave me some crazy story of why their website prices were not accurate. I ended up going somewhere else and paying about 20% less than Grainger website prices for the exact product. Integrity in sellers is key.

If you need something quickly do not rely on Grainger to get it to you on time!! They kept telling me yes it will be delivered on time and yes it is ready on the day I went to pick it up!! Drove all the way there and no it was not ready for pick up, WHY LIE?? Just be honest so I do not waste my time driving over there?? If I could give ZERO stars I would!!

Good store, and good service, but the products are priced at the high end of retail. Some items were “on sale” and were as high as other places. However, for industrial cleaning and service products, there’s nowhere else I’d go.

when you call in you wont speak to a person at the store . When you order something from them they don't stock you will be told it will be at the store next day. I went to the store and they say its gonna be days before it comes in .I will never order from them again what a waste of time .

Horrible customer service Ordered a part which is a Grainger part. was told that there were none in the system but that the part would be in around 2 weeks. Got emailed confirmation, get daily marketing emails. Called 3 weeks later to check if the product was in, was told the product was there. Sent someone over to pick it up. They had shipped it back. Never was contacted by phone or email to come pick it up. Continue to get their marketing emails (spam). They explained how it was my fault that I didn't come in and check on the parts arrival earlier. Rude!

They have impossible to find hydraulic parts in the catalog and the best price on welding and small steel around. Great service too!

Very slow, very small stock ! If you need to buy or return anything you will be here for a while !! 45 minutes for simple item return! 1 hour to order a shoe from a catalogue!!

Not the greatest of experiences. Was in a dire need for some blast media. I went to my local branch to order some media. They quickly found what I needed, got me a price and assured me it would be here tomorrow. I told the salesperson to verify and make sure. It was essential to have it next day. I was going to drive out of town to get it if it was not going to come in next day. I was assured it would be next day around lunch and I would receive a call when it arrived. I WAS called the next day around lunch but not to tell me my order had arrived but to tell me 1/2 my order had arrived. The salesperson apologized and assured me it would be in the next day. I should not have trusted that. I have to say i did get a call when I was supposed to but unfortunately to tell me he had no clue what happened but my order did not show up again. This was extremely disappointing not to mention putting me very behind on work. I understand accidents happen. This is why I let the first day slide when I was told next day for sure. Second day was a total let down.

Unbelievable service. Walked in with just an idea of what I needed and no real application to give them to go off of for the switch I needed. The gentleman that helped me took the time to look up different applications for me in order to narrow down my options and help me decide on which switch would work best for me. As a consumer in a day and age where customer service is slowly going to the wayside and making way to online purchasing where there is no human interaction it was extremely refreshing to walk in and be met by such helpful people. (and a personality besides). You guys have a GREAT team at that retail counter and this being my first experience with Grainger in Sioux Falls I assure you that you have gained a customer as well as all of the other customers that I intend to send your way!! I would also like to mention that I stopped at 5 different places trying to find the type of switch I was looking for and all I found was a lot of attitude and confusion around the fact that I could not provide a model# or part# for the part that I needed so the fact that your team jumped right up and started digging to help me out and find what I needed was a true testament to what your company is doing for you customers. FIVE STAR SERVICE ALL THE WAY!!!!

Had a broken lifetime warranty gearwrench wrench and called gearwrench themselfs to find the closest dealer to warranty the tool and they directed me to graingers. Well I went there and was told if I didn’t buy it from them and have a receipt they wouldn’t help me. Mind you gear wrench told me to go here. Ended up going to fastenal and got a no questions asked replacement. I will never shop at graingers again. And refuse to use them when we shop for items under the municipality I work for.

WARNING DON'T GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD. I had to buy work boots from them, my company has a contract with them for first $150 my company, i was told they had a big selection that the voucher would cover the full amount, there wasn't any that was covered by the voucher amount, so I had to make a copay of $15 after the voucher and company contract discount. I took them over an 2 hours to find the company info so i could get my boots that i needed for that day, the copay posted to my card that day, but then several days later they made an unauthorized charge to my card for the full cost of the boots again. Currently in dispute with the multiple unauthorized charges they have made to my card.

Real good wash. A lot of people wash their trucks and trailers there so be ready to wait 10-30 minutes outside, but service is fast and good

I like to shop around at Granger and other electrical/electronic supply houses. I recently entered Granger and was surprised to find out they removed a lot of tool displays to add more sales counters. Wall space tools were replaced by safety shoe and safety glasses displays . I don't know about you but I like getting my hands on tools and sticking them all in the back room is a lousy move but it happens more and more today. There are stores that still keep tools out where you can handle them... The The Tool Shed is one. Lowes, Ace Sears and Home Depot are others, but the latter have lots of China knock off brands real tradesmen don't buy. Well keep it up Granger and we will start just buying everything on-line since there is no point to going to a Brick and Mortar anymore. Blessings, John 20:29
